Safeguarding the environment

1. Packaging

The packaging material is entirely recyclable, and marked with the recycling symbol . Follow local regulations for scrapping. Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc.) out of reach of children, as they are potentially dangerous.

2 Appliance

The appliance is made using recyclable materials. Disposal must be carried out in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

Make the appliance unusable by cutting off the power cord.

The appliance must be delivered to an authorised collection centre for scrapping.

Precautions and general recommendations

1.Always disconnect the hood by switching off the electrical power supply before cleaning or carrying out maintenance.

2Exhaust air must not be conveyed through the same flue used by the heating system or other non-electrical appliances.

3Do not flambé food under the hood since the flames generated could cause a fire.

4Never leave the pan unattended when frying since the cooking oil could ignite.

5Regular maintenance guarantees smooth hood operation and high performance.

6If the hood is used together with non-electrically powered appliances, ambient negative

pressure must not exceed 4 pa (4 x 10-5 bar).

For this reason, make sure the room is well ventilated.

7Regularly remove dirt deposits. Regularly clean or replace filters. Never use flammable materials to convey exhaust air.
