Introduction

The Car Handsfree HCA-60 offers improved traffic
safety by providing handsfree functionality and
maintained sound quality with echo and noise
cancellation. HCA-60 can be used to amplify the
music that is played from the phone. Convenient
charging of the phone battery is also provided.

Getting started

Before you can use the car handsfree with your phone,
you need to have the car handsfree kit installed in the
car. Please see the Installation guide.

To make sure that the car handsfree will work you
need a Sony Ericsson car holder. If you change your
phone to another Sony Ericsson phone you only have
to replace the car holder.

To get full use out of your car handsfree,
we recommend installing the stereo mute box (H).

Please read the “Important information” before
you use the car handsfree.

Note: Please note that the car handsfree should
be installed by authorized personnel. Ask your
car dealer to recommend professional installation
engineers.

Call handling

In car profile

When the phone is placed in the car holder, the In car
profile is activated. See the Profiles section in the
user guide for your phone for information on the
In car profile.

Make, answer or reject a call

When the phone is placed in the car holder, you can
make, answer, and reject calls by using the keypad
or your voice (if your phone supports voice dialling),
in the same way as when you use the phone as
a hand-held phone. Please see the user guide for
your phone.

Note: You cannot use voice answering if you have
selected an MP3 file as ringtone.

Mute functionality

Using Music Mute (D2)

With music mute installed, the music in the car
loudspeakers is muted when there is a call. The ring
signal and the conversation is heard in the
loudspeaker (C).

Using Stereo Mute Box (not included in the kit)

With stereo mute box (H) installed, the music from
the car loudspeakers is muted when there is a call.
The ring signal and the conversation is heard
through the car loudspeakers. Two of the car
loudspeakers will receive all the sound.

Call in progress

You can adjust the volume of the car handsfree by
pressing the volume keys of the phone during a call.

You can remove the phone from the car holder
during a call to use it as a hand-held phone, and then
replace it again without disconnecting the call.
See “Driving” in Important information.

Play Music

All music in your phone can be played via HCA-60.
The HCA-60 amplifies the music stored in the
phone and transfers the music to the loudspeakers.
The playback of the music is controlled in the same
way as when using the phone as a handheld phone.
Please see the user guide for your phone.

Music via kit loudspeaker (C)

Music is in mono.

Music via car stereo loudspeakers

With stereo mute box installed, the music from the
phone is in stereo in two of the car loudspeakers.

Note: Installation of both the kit loudspeaker (C)
and the stereo mute box (H) is not recommended
since the music will only be in mono.

Additional features

Settings

In the Connectivity/Accessories menu in your phone
there are extra settings available when HCA-60
is connected to the phone.

Note: The information in Settings is only available
in English.

Phone reminder

This setting reminds you to bring your phone with
you when leaving the car. When you turn the car
ignition off, a phone alarm signal is heard after
5 seconds. To turn the alarm signal off, press any
key on the phone or remove the phone from the car
holder. To choose a specific alarm signal, go to the
menu for the alarm signals in your phone.

Note: To use the phone reminder functionality,
you have to have the ignition sense installed (D1).

Loudspeaker

Choose in which loudspeaker you want to hear
the call.

Information about product version.

Master reset

Resets phone reminder and loudspeaker settings
to factory default.

Battery saving

The car handsfree HCA-60 has an ignition sense
function in order to not drain the car battery.

With the ignition sense cable (D1) installed the

phone can be charged even when the ignition is off.

The handsfree will be turned off after 3 hours.
The car handsfree kit is activated again
by an incoming call or by pressing any key.

Using Gooseneck HCE-24

A gooseneck microphone improves the sound
performance for the person you call, since this
microphone is closer to your mouth.

Troubleshooting

This section lists some of the problems that you
might encounter while using your car handsfree.

Disturbance heard in loudspeakers

To reduce disturbance in the loudspeakers, try to use
an external car antenna. You can also try to move
your phone to another place in your car.

Echo

To minimize echo, place the microphone (B) and
the speakers as far apart as possible. For microphone
placement, see picture on page 4.

Mono sound in loudspeakers

If there is only mono sound in the car loudspeakers
when you use the stereo mute box (H), make sure
that the loudspeaker (C) is not connected.

Certain car handsfree functions do not work

If you notice that you cannot make use of all the
features in the car handsfree HCA-60, please check
in the user guide for your phone to see whether the
phone supports that particular function.

Der Autoeinbausatz HCA-60 bringt mehr
Verkehrssicherheit mit Freisprechfunktion
und verbesserter Tonqualität durch Echo- und
Rauschunterdrückung. Das HCA-60 kann auch

Erste Schritte

Bevor Sie den Autoeinbausatz mit dem Telefon
benutzen können, müssen Sie ihn im Auto montieren.
Beachten Sie die Installationsanleitung.

Sie benötigen einen Kfz-Halter von Sony Ericsson,
um den Autoeinbausatz nutzen zu können.
Wenn Sie das Telefon durch ein anderes Telefon von
Sony Ericsson ersetzen, müssen Sie nur den
Kfz-Halter austauschen.

Damit Sie alle Funktionen des Autoeinbausatzes
optimal nutzen können, empfehlen wir das Installieren

Anrufe

Profil „Kfz-Betrieb“

Wenn das Telefon in den Kfz-Halter eingesetzt
wird, wird das Profil Kfz-Betrieb aktiviert.
Beachten Sie den Abschnitt zu Profilen in der
Telefon-Bedienungsanleitung mit Informationen
zum Profil Kfz-Betrieb.

Tätigen, Annehmen und Abweisen
von Anrufen

Wenn das Telefon in den Kfz-Halter eingesetzt
ist, können Sie Anrufe mit den Tasten oder
sprachgesteuert (falls das Telefon die Sprachwahl
unterstützt) tätigen, annehmen oder abweisen.
Das Verfahren ist mit dem bei normaler Benutzung
des Telefons identisch. Beachten Sie die Telefon­Bedienungsanleitung.

Hinweis: Wenn Sie eine MP3-Datei als Rufton
wählen, können Sie die Annahme per Sprachbefehl
nicht nutzen.

Stummschaltung

Verwenden der Stummschaltung (D2)

Mit installierter Stummschaltung wird die Musik
des Autoradios stumm geschaltet, während ein
Anruf getätigt wird. Rufton und Gespräch ertönen
über den Lautsprecher (C).

Anlagenaufschaltung (nicht im Kit enthalten)

Mit installierter Anlagenaufschaltung (H) wird die
Musik der Autolautsprecher stumm geschaltet,
während ein Anruf getätigt wird. Rufton und Gespräch
ertönen über die Lautsprecher. Die Tonausgabe
erfolgt über zwei der Autolautsprecher.

Laufender Anruf

Während eines Anrufs können Sie die Lautstärke
durch Drücken der Lautstärketasten am Telefon
einstellen.

Sie können das Telefon während eines Anrufs
aus dem Kfz-Halter nehmen, es wie ein normales
Mobiltelefon benutzen und wieder in den Kfz-Halter
einsetzen, ohne die Verbindung zu trennen.
Beachten Sie den Abschnitt „Auto fahren“ unter
„Wichtige Informationen“.

Anrufe 13

Abspielen von Musik

Die Musikdateien im Telefon können über das
HCA-60 abgespielt werden. Das HCA-60 verstärkt
die Tonsignale und gibt sie über die Lautsprecher
aus. Die Wiedergabe von Musik wird wie bei
Verwendung des Telefons als Mobiltelefon gesteuert.
Beachten Sie die Telefon-Bedienungsanleitung.

Musik über Einbausatzlautsprecher (C)

Die Musikwiedergabe erfolgt mono.

Musik über Autolautsprecher

Wenn die Anlagenaufschaltung installiert wurde,
werden die Musikdateien im Telefon stereo über
zwei der Autolautsprecher abgespielt.

Hinweis: Die Installation der Anlagenaufschaltung
(H) in Verbindung mit dem Einbausatzlautsprecher
(C) wird nicht empfohlen, weil die Wiedergabe nur
mono erfolgt.

Weitere Funktionen

Einstellungen

Im Menü Verbindungen/Zubehör des Telefons
sind zusätzliche Einstellmöglichkeiten vorhanden,
wenn das HCA-60 mit dem Telefon verbunden ist.

Hinweis: Die Informationen unter „Einstellungen“
sind nur in englischer Sprache verfügbar.

Phone reminder

Mit dieser Einstellung können Sie sich an das
Mitnehmen des Telefons erinnern lassen, wenn
Sie das Auto verlassen. Fünf Sekunden nach
dem Ausschalten der Zündung ertönt ein
Alarmsignal. Sie können das Alarmsignal
ausschalten, indem Sie eine Telefontaste
drücken oder das Telefon aus dem Kfz-Halter
nehmen. Öffnen Sie im Telefon das Menü für
die Alarmsignale, um ein bestimmtes Alarmsignal
auszuwählen.

Hinweis: Diese Funktion können Sie
nur mit installiertem Kabel für die
Zündspannungserkennung (D1) nutzen.

Loudspeaker

Geben Sie an, mit welchem Lautsprecher der
Anruf wiedergegeben werden soll.

Master reset

Setzt Telefonerinnerung und Lautsprecher
auf die Werkseinstellungen zurück.

Strom sparen

Der Autoeinbausatz HCA-60 unterstützt die
Zündspannungserkennung, um die Autobatterie
nicht zu entladen.

Bei installiertem Kabel für die
Zündspannungserkennung (D1) kann das Telefon
auch geladen werden, wenn die Zündung
ausgeschaltet ist.

Der Autoeinbausatz wird nach 3 Stunden
ausgeschaltet. Er wird aktiviert, sobald ein
Anruf ankommt oder eine Taste gedrückt wird.

Schwanenhalsmikrofon HCE-24

Ein Schwanenhalsmikrofon verbessert die Tonqualität
für Ihren Gesprächspartner, da sich das Mikrofon
näher an Ihrem Mund befindet.

Um Störungen in den Lautsprechern zu vermindern,

Echo

Um Echos zu reduzieren, sollte die Entfernung
von Mikrofon (B) und Lautsprechern möglichst groß
sein. Beachten Sie zur Platzierung des Mikrofons
die Abbildung auf Seite 11.

Monoausgabe über Lautsprecher

Erfolgt die Ausgabe bei installierter Anlagen­aufschaltung (H) über die Autolautsprecher mono,
trennen Sie die Verbindung zum Lautsprecher (C).

Wenn Sie nicht alle Funktionen des Autoeinbausatzes
HCA-60 nutzen können, überprüfen Sie in der

Πραγµατοποίηση, απάντηση ή απόρριψη
µιας κλήσης

Όταν το τηλέφωνο βρίσκεται στη βάση αυτοκινήτου,
µπορείτε να κάνετε, να απαντάτε και να απορρίπτεται

κλήσεις χρησιµοποιώντας το πληκτρολόγιο
ήτηφωνή σας (εάν το τηλέφωνό σας υποστηρίζει
φωνητική κλήση) µε τον ίδιο τρόπο όπως όταν
χρησιµοποιείτε το τηλέφωνο ως τηλέφωνο χειρός.

Phone reminder (Υπενθύµιση τηλεφώνου)

Αυτή η ρύθµιση σας υπενθυµίζει να παίρνετε το
τηλέφωνο µαζί σας
Αφού σβήσετε τη µηχανή του αυτοκινήτου, µετά
από 5 δευτερόλεπτα ηχεί ένα σήµα ειδοποίησης από
το τηλέφωνο. Για να απενεργοποιήσετε το σήµα
ειδοποίησης, πιέστε οποιοδήποτε πλήκτρο του
τηλεφώνου ή αφαιρέστε το τηλέφωνο από τη βάση
αυτοκινήτου. Για να επιλέξετε ένα συγκεκριµένο
σήµα ειδοποίησης,

Introducción

El equipo manos libres HCA-60 ofrece mayor
seguridad en la carretera gracias a la prestación
de manos libres y la calidad de sonido constante
que evita el eco y el ruido. Se puede utilizar
HCA-60 para amplificar la música que emite

Para asegurarse de que funciona el equipo
manos libres, es necesario un soporte para
vehículos Sony Ericsson. Si cambia su teléfono
por otro de Sony Ericsson, sólo será necesario
cambiar el soporte para vehículos.

Para aprovechar al máximo el equipo manos
libres, recomendamos instalar la caja de silenciador
del equipo de música (H).

Realice, conteste o rechace una llamada

Cuando el teléfono está colocado en el soporte
para vehículos, puede realizar, contestar y rechazar
llamadas utilizando el teclado o su voz (si su
teléfono integra marcación por voz), como lo haría
habitualmente sin equipo manos libres. Consulte
la guía de usuario de su teléfono.

Nota: No puede utilizar la respuesta de voz
si ha seleccionado un archivo MP3 como tono
de llamada.

Función de silenciado

Utilizar el Silenciador de música (D2)

Si se ha instalado el silenciador de música, se silencian
los altavoces del vehículo cuando detecta una llamada.
El tono de llamada y la conversación suenan por
el altavoz (C).

Utilizar la Caja del silenciador del equipo
de música (no incluido en el kit)

Si se ha instalado la caja de silenciador del equipo
de música (H), se silencian los altavoces del vehículo
cuando detecta una llamada. El tono de llamada
y la conversación suenan por los altavoces del
vehículo. Dos de los altavoces del vehículo recibirán
todo el sonido.

Llamada en curso

Puede ajustar el volumen del equipo manos libres
pulsando las teclas de volumen del teléfono durante
una llamada.

Puede retirar el teléfono del soporte para vehículos
durante una llamada para utilizarlo sin modo manos
libres, y volver a colocarlo otra vez sin cortar
la llamada. Consulte “Uso del teléfono durante
la conducción” en Información importante.

Reproducir música

Se puede reproducir toda la música en su teléfono
mediante el HCA-60. El HCA-60 amplifica la música
almacenada en el teléfono y transfiere la música
a los altavoces. Se controla la reproducción de música
de la misma manera que utiliza el teléfono sin
el modo manos libres. Consulte la guía de usuario
de su teléfono.

Música a través del altavoz del kit (C)

La música suena en mono.

Música a través de altavoces estéreo
del vehículo

Con la caja de silenciador del equipo de música,
la música del teléfono suena a través de dos
altavoces del vehículo en estéreo.

Nota: Se desaconseja instalar el altavoz del kit
(C) y también la caja de silenciador del equipo
de música (H), ya que la música sonará en mono.

Ajustes

En el menú Conectividad/Accesorios del teléfono,
aparecen ajustes adicionales cuando el HCA-60
está conectado al teléfono.

Nota: La información en Ajustes sólo está
disponible en inglés.

Phone reminder (recordatorio del teléfono)

Este ajuste le recuerda que se lleve su teléfono al
salir del vehículo. Al apagar el vehículo, el teléfono
emite una señal de aviso sonora al cabo de 5
segundos. Para desactivar la señal de aviso,
pulse cualquier tecla del teléfono o retire el teléfono
del soporte para vehículos. Para elegir una señal
de aviso específica, vaya al menú de las señales
de aviso del teléfono.

Nota: Para utilizar la función de recordatorio
del teléfono, es necesario tener instalado un
sensor de ignición (D1).
