Compruebe la integridad de suministro y si hay daños visibles.

► Si el suministro es incompleto o hay daños debido a un embalaje defi ciente
o al transporte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de asistencia
(véase capítulo Asistencia técnica).
Desembalar
♦ Extraiga todas las piezas del aparato y las instrucciones de uso del cartón.
♦ Retire todo el material de embalaje.

► Los materiales de embalaje no deben utilizarse para que jueguen los
niños. Podrían asfi xiarse.
Evacuación del embalaje
El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje se
ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de técnica de eliminación y por ello es reciclable.
La reintroducción del embalaje en el ciclo de materiales ahorra materias primas
y reduce el volumen de residuos. Evacue los materiales de embalaje que no
sean necesarios según las normativas locales aplicables.
ADVERTENCIA
Si es posible, conserve el embalaje original durante el periodo de garantía

del aparato para poder empaquetarlo correctamente en caso de aplicación de la garantía.

Indicaciones de seguridad
¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
► Conecte el aparato exclusivamente a una base de enchufe insta-
lada según lo dispuesto y con una tensión de red equivalente a
la indicada en la placa de características.
► No sumerja el aparato ni permita que penetren en líquidos en
la carcasa del aparato. El aparato no debe estar expuesto a la
humedad ni utilizarse a la intemperie. Si por cualquier motivo
penetrase líquido en la carcasa del aparato, extraiga la clavija
de red de la base de enchufe y entrégueselo al personal especializado cualifi cado para su reparación.
► En caso de errores de funcionamiento y antes de limpiar el apa-
rato, extraiga la clavija de la base de enchufe.
► Extraiga la clavija de red de la base de enchufe, no tire del cable.
► No enrolle el cable de conexión de red alrededor del aparato y
protéjalo contra daños.
► En caso de daños en la clavija de red o en el cable de red, en-
cargue su sustitución al personal técnico autorizado o al servicio
postventa para evitar riesgos.

► No doble ni aplaste el cable de conexión de red y tiéndalo de
modo que nadie pueda pisarlo ni tropezar con él.
► No utilice ningún cable de prolongación.
► No toque nunca el aparato, el cable o la clavija de red con las
manos húmedas.
► Desconecte el aparato de la red eléctrica inmediatamente después
de su uso. El aparato solo estará totalmente desconectado de la
corriente si se extrae la clavija de red de la base de enchufe.

¡PELIGRO DE DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA!
► Se prohíbe abrir la carcasa del aparato o intentar repararlo.
De lo contrario, no podrá garantizarse la seguridad del aparato y se anulará el derecho a la garantía. Si el aparato está
defectuoso, encargue su reparación exclusivamente al personal
especializado cualifi cado.
► No permita que el cable de conexión se moje o humedezca
mientras el aparato esté en funcionamiento.
Procure que no se dañe o quede aprisionado durante el manejo.
► Asegúrese de que no puedan introducirse objetos en el aparato,
especialmente horquillas de pelo, pinzas o pasadores metálicos.
No utilice nunca el aparato cerca del agua, especialmente en
la proximidad de lavabos, bañeras o recipientes similares. La
proximidad del agua supone un riesgo aunque esté desconectado el aparato. Por ello, extraiga la clavija de red después
de cada uso. Como protección adicional, se recomienda la
instalación en el cuarto de baño de un interruptor diferencial
para corrientes de fuga con una corriente de disparo inferior
a 30 mA. Pida consejo a su instalador eléctrico.
¡ADVERTENCIA! ¡PELIGRO DE LESIONES!
► Los niños mayores de 8 años y las personas con facultades psí-
quicas, sensoriales y mentales reducidas o falta de experiencia
y/o conocimientos pueden utilizar este aparato si son supervisados o han sido instruidos correctamente sobre el uso seguro del
aparato y han comprendido los peligros que entraña.
► Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.
► Los niños no pueden llevar a cabo las tareas de limpieza y
mantenimiento a no ser que tengan más de 8 años de edad y las
realicen bajo supervisión.

¡ADVERTENCIA! ¡PELIGRO DE LESIONES!
► No pose el aparato cuando esté en funcionamiento ni lo deje
encendido sin supervisión.
► No deje nunca el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor y proteja el
cable de conexión de red contra posibles daños.
► En caso de que se caiga el aparato o esté dañado, no deberá
ponerlo de nuevo en funcionamiento. Encomiende la revisión del
aparato y su reparación al personal especializado cualifi cado.
► No cubra la rejilla de ventilación de aire durante el funcionamien-
to. Límpiela periódicamente.
► Las piezas del aparato pueden calentarse durante el funciona-
miento. Por ello, sujételo sólo por el mango y los botones.
► Utilice el aparato únicamente con un accesorio acoplado, nunca
solo, ya que el punto de conexión de los accesorios se calienta
mucho durante el funcionamiento.
► Deje que el aparato se enfríe antes de insertar o extraer los
accesorios.
► Utilice únicamente los accesorios originales
suministrados, ya que están optimizados para su uso con el aparato. Es posible que otros accesorios no sean lo sufi cientemente
seguros.

► Mantenga libres los orifi cios de entrada y salida de aire para no
obstaculizar el paso de la corriente de aire. De lo contrario, el
aparato puede sobrecalentarse.
► Tenga cuidado con las lacas, los pulverizadores de agua, etc.
Puede ocurrir que la corriente de aire dirija estos productos directamente a sus ojos. Además, tampoco debe permitirse que estos
productos entren en contacto con el aparato, ya que podrían ser
infl amables, abrasivos o conductores.

Puesta en servicio
■ Antes de poner en marcha el aparato, asegúrese de que...
– el aparato o los accesorios se encuentran en perfecto estado,
– se han retirados todos los materiales de embalaje.
■ Limpie los accesorios, tal como se describe en el punto “Limpieza y cuidado”.
Colocar / extraer el cabezal
¡ADVERTENCIA! ¡PELIGRO DE LESIONES!
► ¡Las piezas del aparato pueden estar calientes debido a un uso previo!
Colocar cabezal
■ Inserte el cabezal elegido en el alojamiento de accesorio 1, de modo que
el símbolo de fl echa delantero del accesorio señale sobre el símbolo de
fl echa del alojamiento de accesorio 1 .
■ Gire el accesorio en sentido horario hasta que escuche como encastra.
La fl echa trasera del accesorio señala ahora a la fl echa del alojamiento de
accesorio 1 .
Quitar un cabezal
■ En primer lugar, apague el aparato y deje que se enfríe.
■ Pulse el botón de desbloqueo „push“ 7 y gire el accesorio en sentido
antihorario .
■ El accesorio sólo se puede retirar tirando del alojamiento de accesorio 1.

Encender/apagar / Seleccionar nivel
■ Cuando haya colocado el accesorio deseado e introducido la clavija de
red en la base de enchufe, puede conectar el aparato con el interruptor
escalonado 3 y seleccionar el nivel:
– „0“ el aparato está apagado
– „1“ para aire caliente con poca potencia
– „2“ para aire caliente con mucha potencia
■ Puede apagar el aparato poniendo el interruptor escalonado 3 en la
posición „0“ (= aparato apagado).
■ Para fi jar el peinado, puede usar el interruptor deslizante Cool Shot 2.
Con el caudal de aire fresco se fi ja el peinado:
– Deslice durante el funcionamiento el interruptor deslizante Cool Shot 2
hacia arriba. El caudal de aire ahora es más fresco.
– Si desea desactivar de nuevo el caudal de aire fresco, empuje el interrup-
tor deslizante Cool Shot 2 hacia abajo.
Utilizar los accesorios

Cepillo redondo grande
Este accesorio le proporciona a su cabello más volumen y rizos más grandes.
■ Enrolle los mechones ligeramente húmedos en el cepillo redondo grande q.
■ Coloque el interruptor del aparato a nivel 1 o 2.
■ Una vez secos los mechones, empuje el interruptor deslizante Cool Shot 2
hacia arriba. Espere hasta que se enfríen los mechones.
■ Desenrosque el cepillo redondo grande q de los mechones.
■ Proceda del mismo modo con el resto de los mechones.
Cepillo redondo pequeño
Con este accesorio puede crear rizos o bien ondulaciones en el pelo.
■ Enrolle los mechones ligeramente húmedos en el cepillo redondo pequeño 0.
■ Coloque el interruptor del aparato a nivel 1 o 2.
■ Una vez secos los mechones, empuje el interruptor deslizante Cool Shot 2
hacia arriba. Espere hasta que se enfríen los mechones.
■ Desenrosque el cepillo redondo pequeño 0 de los mechones.
■ Proceda del mismo modo con el resto de los mechones.

Pinza para rizos
Con este accesorio puede realizar pequeños tirabuzones (rizos de ángel) en el
pelo.
■ Fije las puntas de los mechones con el clip de la pinza para rizos 9.
■ Enrolle los mechones ligeramente húmedos en la pinza para rizos 9.
■ Coloque el interruptor del aparato a nivel 1 o 2.
■ Una vez secos los mechones, empuje el interruptor deslizante Cool Shot 2
hacia arriba. Espere hasta que se enfríen los mechones.
■ Extraiga la pinza para rizos 9 del mechón.
■ Proceda del mismo modo con el resto de los mechones.

Cepillo doble
Este cabezal sirve para secar pelo muy largo.
■ Tome unos mechones con los dedos y el cepillo doble w cerca del naci-

Limpieza y cuidados
DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA / PELIGRO
Antes de limpiar la clavija de red desenchufe siempre la clavija de la base

► Antes de limpiar el aparato, deje que se enfríe sufi cientemente. ¡Peligro de
quemaduras!
¡ATENCIÓN - DAÑOS MATERIALES!
No use productos de limpieza abrasivos, agresivos o químicos. Estos

productos pueden dañar la superfi cie del aparato.
■ Limpie el aparato sólo con un paño ligeramente humedecido.
■ Deje que se seque el aparato por completo antes de volverlo a utilizar o
antes de guardarlo.
■ Limpie la funda protectora r o bien los accesorios 8/9/0/q/w/e
en su caso con un paño húmedo.
■ Limpie con regularidad la rejilla de aspiración de aire 6 con un cepillo
suave.
Almacenaje
■ Puede colgar el aparato con el ojal para colgar 5.
■ Si no va a utilizar el aparato durante un tiempo prolongado, guardelo
dentro de la funda protectora r.
¡Para ello el aparato deberá estar frío!

Consejos para el peinado perfecto
■ Déle forma al cabello una vez que esté casi seco.
■ Separe el cabello en mechones individuales, para lograr más volumen.
■ Adicionalmente, puede lograr más volumen en el cabello si lo seca comen-
zando desde las raíces hasta las puntas.
■ Después de apagar el aparato espere todavía un par de segundos antes de
soltar los rizos.
■ Antes de pasar un peine, deje primero que el cabello se enfríe.
■ Fije el peinado con un poco de laca.

Evacuación del aparato
En ningún caso deberá tirar el aparato con la basura doméstica.
Este producto está sujeto a la directiva europea 2012/19/EU
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Evacue el aparato en un centro de evacuación autorizado a través de las ins-
talaciones de evacuación comunitarias. Preste atención a las normas en vigor.
En caso de duda póngase en contacto con las instalaciones municipales de
evacuación de residuos.

Garantía
Este aparato tiene 3 años de garantía desde la fecha de compra. El aparato ha
sido fabricado cuidadosamente y ha sido probado antes de su entrega.
Guarde el comprobante de caja como justifi cante de compra. Si necesitara
hacer uso de la garantía, póngase en contacto por teléfono con su punto de
servicio habitual. Este es el único modo de garantizar un envío gratuito.
ADVERTENCIA
La garantía cubre los defectos de fabricación o del material, pero no los

daños de transporte, las piezas sujetas a desgaste y los daños sufridos por
las piezas frágiles (p. ej. medios luminosos o interruptor).
Este producto ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el uso particular y no
para el uso industrial. En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de
la fuerza y en caso de abrir el aparato personas ajenas a nuestros centros de
asistencia técnica autorizados, la garantía pierde su validez.
Sus derechos legales no se ven limitados por esta garantía.
El tiempo de garantía no se prolonga por hacer uso de la misma. Es aplicable
también para las piezas sustituidas y reparadas.
Si se observan después de la compra del aparato la existencia de daños o
defectos al desembalar el aparato, se han de notifi car de inmediato a mas
tardar dos días tras la fecha de compra.
Cualquier reparación que se realice fi nalizado el plazo de garantía está sujeto
a un coste.

Estrazione dalla confezione

Indicazioni di sicurezza
PERICOLO DI SCOSSA ELETTRICA
► Collegare l’apparecchio solo a una presa installata a norma con
tensione di rete corrispondente a quella riportata sulla relativa
targhetta.
► Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in liquidi; impedire la penetra-
zioni di liquidi nell’alloggiamento dell’apparecchio. Non esporre
l’apparecchio all’umidità e non utilizzarlo all’aperto. In caso di
infi ltrazioni di liquidi nell’alloggiamento dell’apparecchio, disinserire subito la spina dalla presa e fare riparare l’apparecchio da
personale specializzato qualifi cato.
► In caso di guasti e prima della pulizia, staccare sempre la spina
dalla presa di corrente.
► Tirare sempre dalla spina, mai dal cavo.
► Non avvolgere il cavo di rete attorno all’apparecchio e proteg-
gerlo da danneggiamenti.
► Fare sostituire immediatamente spine o cavi danneggiati da perso-
nale specializzato autorizzato o dal centro di assistenza clienti, al
fi ne di evitare pericoli.

► Non piegare e non schiacciare il cavo di rete e posizionarlo in
modo tale che non sia di intralcio o di inciampo.
► Non usare prolunghe.
► Non aff errare mai l’apparecchio, il cavo di rete e la spina di rete
con le mani umide.
► Dopo l’uso, staccare immediatamente l’apparecchio dalla rete
elettrica. L’apparecchio è completamente privo di tensione solo
se scollegato dalla rete elettrica.

PERICOLO DI SCOSSA ELETTRICA
► Non è consentito aprire o riparare l’alloggiamento dell’apparecchio.
Aprendolo ci si espone a pericoli e la garanzia decade. Fare
riparare l’apparecchio guasto solo da personale specializzato
autorizzato.
► Assicurarsi che durante il funzionamento il cavo di rete non sia
esposto all’acqua o all’umidità.
Collocarlo in modo tale da impedirne il bloccaggio o il danneggiamento.
► Impedire la penetrazione di oggetti nell’apparecchio, in partico-
lare oggetti metallici come ferretti, fermagli o aghi per capelli.
Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio nelle vicinanze dell’acqua, in
particolare accanto a lavandini, vasche da bagno o simili.
La vicinanza all’acqua rappresenta un pericolo anche ad apparecchio spento. Staccare dunque sempre la spina dopo ogni
utilizzo. Come protezione addizionale si consiglia l’installazione
di un dispositivo di protezione per correnti di dispersione con
una corrente di apertura di misurazione di non oltre 30 mA nel
circuito della stanza da bagno. Consultare il proprio elettricista.

► Questo apparecchio può venire utilizzato dai bambini a partire
dall’età di 8 anni e da persone con capacità fi siche, sensoriali o
mentali ridotte ovvero prive di esperienze e/o conoscenze in merito
qualora siano sorvegliati o siano stati adeguatamente istruiti sull’uso
sicuro dell’apparecchio e ne abbiano compreso i relativi rischi.
► I bambini non devono giocare con l’apparecchio.
► La pulizia e la manutenzione a cura dell’utente non devono esse-
re eseguite dai bambini a meno che non abbiano almeno 8 anni
e non vengano sorvegliati.

► Non appoggiare mai l’apparecchio acceso e non lasciare mai
l’apparecchio acceso incustodito.
► Non collocare mai l’apparecchio in prossimità di fonti di calore e
proteggere il cavo di rete da eventuali danneggiamenti.
► Se l’apparecchio avesse subìto cadute o danni, non metterlo più in
funzione. L’apparecchio deve venire sottoposto a controllo da parte
di personale specializzato e all’occorrenza riparato.
► Non coprire la griglia di aspirazione dell’aria durante il funziona-
mento. Pulirla regolarmente.
► Le parti dell’apparecchio possono surriscaldarsi durante l’uso.
Toccare solo l’impugnatura e i tasti.
► Utilizzare l’apparecchio sempre e soltanto con gli accessori inseriti,
mai da solo, poiché l’innesto degli accessori si surriscalda durante
l’uso.
► Fare sempre raff reddare l’apparecchio prima di inserire o rimuo-
vere gli accessori.
► Utilizzare solo gli accessori originali inclusi nella fornitura,
poiché essi sono ottimizzati per l’impiego con l’apparecchio.
Altri elementi potrebbero non essere suffi cientemente sicuri.

► Non ostruire le aperture di aerazione in modo da garantire la
libera circolazione dell’aria. In caso contrario, l’apparecchio
potrebbe surriscaldarsi.
► Utilizzare gli spray per capelli, i nebulizzatori, ecc. con molta
cautela. Potrebbe succedere ad esempio che il fl usso di aria soffi
tali sostanze direttamente negli occhi. Tali sostanze non devono
fi nire neanche nell’apparecchio, poiché potrebbero essere infi ammabili, dannose o conduttive elettricamente.

Messa in funzione
■ Prima di mettere in esercizio l'apparecchio accertarsi che ...
– l'apparecchio o gli accessori siano in condizioni perfette,
– sia stato rimosso tutto il materiale di imballaggio.
■ Se necessario, pulire gli accessori, così come descritto alla sezione
“Pulizia e manutenzione”.
Applicazione / rimozione dell'inserto
AVVISO! PERICOLO DI LESIONI!
► Dopo il funzionamento, gli elementi dell'apparecchio potrebbero essere
bollenti!
Applicazione dell'accessorio
■ Inserire l'accessorio desiderato sul punto di innesto per gli accessori 1,
in modo che il simbolo della freccia anteriore sull'accessorio punti verso il
simbolo della freccia sul punto di innesto per gli accessori 1 .
■ Ruotare l'accessorio in senso orario fi no all'inserimento udibile. La freccia
posteriore sull'accessorio punta ora sulla freccia del punto di innesto per gli
accessori 1 .
Rimozione dell'inserto
■ Spegnere prima l'apparecchio e lasciarlo raff reddare.
■ Premere il tasto di sbloccaggio "push"“ 7 e ruotare l'accessorio in senso
antiorario .
■ L'accessorio può quindi essere prelevato estraendolo dall'innesto per gli
accessori 1.

Accensione / spegnimento / selezione del livello
■ Dopo aver montato l'accessorio desiderato e aver inserito la spina nella
presa di corrente, accendere l'apparecchio con il commutatore 3 e selezio-
nare il livello:
– „0“ apparecchio spento
– „1“ getto d'aria basso riscaldato
– „2“ getto d'aria alto riscaldato
■ Spegnere l'apparecchio spostando il commutatore 3 sullo "0" (= apparecchio
spento).
■ Per fi ssare la messa in piega è possibile utilizzare l'interruttore a scorrimento
Cool Shot 2. La messa in piega viene fi ssata dalla corrente di aria fredda:
– Durante l'accensione spingere l'interruttore a scorrimento Cool Shot 2
verso l'alto.La corrente d'aria diviene più fresca.
– Se si desidera disattivare nuovamente la corrente di aria fredda, spingere
verso il basso l'interruttore a scorrimento Cool Shot 2.
Impiego degli accessori

Spazzola rotonda grande
Questo accessorio conferisce maggiore volume ai capelli o crea riccioli più
grandi.
■ Avvolgere le ciocche di capelli leggermente umide intorno alla spazzola
rotonda grande q.
■ Accendere l'apparecchio a livello 1 o 2.
■ Quando la ciocca è asciutta, spingere l'interruttore a scorrimento Cool
Shot 2 verso l'alto. Attendere fi no al raff reddamento della ciocca.
■ Sfi lare via la spazzola rotonda grande q dalle ciocche.
■ Procedere analogamente con le altre ciocche.
Spazzola rotonda piccola
Con questo accessorio si possono creare riccioli o onde nella capigliatura.
■ Avvolgere le ciocche di capelli leggermente umide intorno alla spazzola
rotonda piccola 0.
■ Accendere l'apparecchio a livello 1 o 2.
■ Quando la ciocca è asciutta, spingere l'interruttore a scorrimento Cool
Shot 2 verso l'alto. Attendere fi no al raff reddamento della ciocca.
■ Sfi lare via la spazzola rotonda piccola 0 dalle ciocche.
■ Procedere analogamente con le altre ciocche.

Pinza per riccioli
Con questo accessorio si possono creare riccioli a spirale (boccoli) nella capigliatura.
■ Fissare la punta della ciocca con la clip della pinza per riccioli 9.
■ Avvolgere quindi le ciocche di capelli leggermente umide intorno alla pinza
per riccioli 9.
■ Accendere l'apparecchio a livello 1 o 2.
■ Quando la ciocca è asciutta, spingere l'interruttore a scorrimento Cool
Shot 2 verso l'alto. Attendere fi no al raff reddamento della ciocca.
■ Estrarre la pinza per riccioli 9 dalla ciocca.
■ Procedere analogamente con le altre ciocche.

Spazzola doppia
Questo accessorio si presta per l’asciugatura di capelli particolarmente lunghi.
■ Prendere una ciocca di capelli con la spazzola doppia w aperta vicino
all’attaccatura dei capelli, chiudere la spazzola e tenerla chiusa.
■ Accendere l’apparecchio a livello 1 o 2.
■ Far passare lentamente la ciocca attraverso la spazzola doppia w in modo
tale che si asciughi fi no alle punte.
■ Procedere analogamente con le altre ciocche.
Spazzola semitonda
La spazzola semitonda 8 è idonea a pettinare e nel contempo asciugare i
capelli con l'asciugacapelli.

Pulizia e manutenzione

■ Prima del riutilizzo o della conservazione, fare raff reddare completamente
l'apparecchio.
■ Eventualmente pulire la tasca di conservazione r o gli accessori
8/9/0/q/w/e con un panno umido.
■ Pulire a intervalli regolari la griglia di aspirazione dell'aria 6 con una
spazzola morbida.
Conservazione
■ È possibile appendere l'apparecchio all'occhiello di sospensione 5.
■ Se non si utilizza l'apparecchio per lungo tempo, riporlo nella tasca di con-
servazione r. L'apparecchio deve essere prima fatto raff reddare!

Consigli per una pettinatura perfetta
■ Eseguire l'acconciatura a capelli quasi asciutti.
■ Dividere la capigliatura in singole ciocche, per ottenere maggiore volume.
■ Per ottenere ancora maggiore volume, asciugare i capelli cominciando dalle
radici verso le punte.
■ Dopo aver spento l'apparecchio, attendere ancora qualche secondo, prima
di rilasciare i boccoli.
■ Prima di pettinare l’acconciatura, lasciare raff reddare bene i capelli.
■ Fissare la pettinatura con un po’ di lacca.

Smaltimento dell'apparecchio
Non gettare per alcun motivo l'apparecchio insieme ai normali
rifi uti domestici. Questo prodotto è soggetto alla Direttiva
europea 2012/19/EU-RAEE (Rifi uti da apparecchiature elettriche ed

Smaltire l'apparecchio presso un'azienda autorizzata o presso l'ente comunale
di smaltimento. Rispettare le prescrizioni attualmente in vigore. In caso di dubbi

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves raw material and
reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging material that is no
longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► This appliance must only be connected to a properly installed
wall power socket providing electrical energy at the level detailed
on the rating plate.
► Under no circumstances may the appliance be submersed in fl uids
or fl uids be allowed to permeate the housing. The appliance
must not be exposed to moisture or used outdoors. Should liquids
enter the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains power
socket immediately and arrange for it to be repaired by a qualifi ed
technician.
► In event of operating malfunctions and before cleaning the appli-
ance, remove the plug from the mains power socket.
► Disconnect the appliance by pulling on the plug itself, not on the
power cable.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and protect
the cable from being damaged.
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables
to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► You must not open the device housing or attempt to repair the
device yourself. Should you do so, the safety of the appliance is
no longer assured and the warranty will become void. Only
allow authorised technicians to repair a defective appliance.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become wet or moist during
use. Route the cable in such a way that it cannot be crushed or
damaged.
► Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the inside of the
appliance, particularly not metal hair clips, grips or hairpins.
Never use the appliance near water, particularly not near sinks,
bathtubs or similar vessels. The proximity of water presents a
risk, even when the appliance is switched off . Always disconnect
the plug from the mains power socket after use. As additional
protection, the installation of a residual current circuit-breaker
with an activation power rating of not more than 30 mA is
recommended for the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your
electrician for advice.

► Do not cover the air intake grille while operating the appliance. Clean
the grille at regular intervals.
► The appliance and its accessories can become hot when in use.
Therefore, only touch the handle and the buttons.
► Always use the appliance with the attachments fi tted, never on its
own, since the attachment point becomes hot during operation.
► Allow the appliance to cool down before attaching or detaching
attachments.
► Use only the supplied original accessories, since these have been
optimised for interaction with the appliance. Other parts may not
be adequately safe.

► Exercise caution when using hair spray, water atomizers etc.
The air fl ow may blow these substances directly into your eyes.

First use
■ Before taking the appliance into use ensure that ...
– the appliance and the attachments are in good working order,
– all packaging materials have been removed.
■ Clean all of the attachments as described under “Cleaning and care”.
Attachment fi tting / removal

Fitting Attachments
■ Insert the desired attachment into the attachment insertion slot 1, so that
the front arrow symbol on the attachment points at the arrow symbol on the
attachment insertion slot 1 .
■ Turn the attachment clockwise until it clicks into place. The back arrow on the
attachment now points at the arrow on the attachment insertion slot 1 .
Removing attachments
■ First switch the appliance off and allow it to cool down..
■ Press the release button “push” 7 and turn the attachment anti-clockwise .
■ The attachment can now be removed by pulling it out of the attachment inser-
tion slot 1.

Switching on /off / Selecting a heat level
■ When you have inserted the required attachment and connected the plug
with the mains power socket, you can now switch the appliance on with the
level switch 3 and select the output level:
– “0“ The appliance is switched off
– “1“ for a reduced air-fl ow strength with heat
– “2“ for a high air-fl ow strength with heat
■ You switch the appliance off by sliding the level switch 3 to the position “0”
(= appliance off ).
■ To fi x the styling, you can use the slide switch Cool Shot 2. The styling will
be fi xed by the cool air stream:
– During operation, slide the slide switch Cool Shot 2 upwards.
The air fl ow will be cooler.
– When you want to deactivate the cool air stream, slide the slide switch
Cool Shot 2 downwards.

This attachment gives the hair more volume or large curls.
■ Wind a slightly damp strand of hair around the large round brush q.
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the slide switch Cool Shot 2 upwards.
Wait until the strand has cooled.
■ Unwind the large round brush q from the strand.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.
Small round brush
With this attachment you can put curls or waves into your hair.
■ Wind a slightly damp strand of hair around the small round brush 0.
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the slide switch Cool Shot 2 upwards.
Wait until the strand has cooled.
■ Unwind the small round brush 0 from the strand.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.

Curling tongs
With this attachment you can put small spiral curls (angel curls) into your hair.
■ Secure the tip of the strand with the clip on the curling tongs 9.
■ Then wind the slightly damp strand of hair around the curling tongs 9.
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the slide switch Cool Shot 2 upwards.
Wait until the strand has cooled.
■ Pull the curling tongs 9 out of the strand.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.

Storage
■ You can also hang the appliance up by the suspension loop 5.
■ If you are intending to not use the appliance for an extended period, store it
in the storage bag r. The appliance must be cooled down for this!
Tips for the perfect hairstyle
■ Only style your hair when it is already almost dry.
■ Divide your hair into individual strands for more volume.
■ You will achieve additional volume by starting to dry your hair at the hairline
and working down towards the ends.
■ After switching the appliance off , wait for a few seconds before releasing
the curl.
■ Let your hair cool down suffi ciently before combing it out.
■ Fix the hair with a little hairspray.

Disposal of the appliance
Do not dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.
This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte
Netzsteckdose mit einer der auf dem Typenschild entsprechenden
Netzspannung an.
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit tauchen und
keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie
dürfen das Gerät keiner Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen. Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse
gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der
Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal
reparieren.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen und bevor Sie das Gerät reini-
gen den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose, ziehen Sie nicht
am Kabel selbst.
► Wickeln Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät und
schützen Sie sie vor Beschädigungen.

► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netzkabel sofort von
autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung nicht und
verlegen Sie sie so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber
stolpern kann.
► Sie dürfen kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
► Fassen Sie Gerät, Netzanschlussleitung und -stecker nie mit nas-
sen Händen an.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch vom Stromnetz.
Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es
vollständig stromfrei.

► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht öff nen oder reparieren. In
diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit nicht gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt. Lassen Sie ein defektes Gerät nur von qualifi ziertem
Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel nicht nass oder
feucht wird.
Führen Sie es so, dass es nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt
werden kann.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass niemals Gegenstände in das Gerät
gelangen können, insbesondere nicht metallische Haarklammern,
Clips oder Haarnadeln.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät niemals in der Nähe von Wasser,
insbesondere nicht in der Nähe von Waschbecken, Badewannen
oder ähnlichen Gefäßen. Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr
dar, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Ziehen Sie daher nach
jedem Gebrauch den Netzstecker. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird
Ihnen die Installation einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im BadezimmerStromkreis empfohlen. Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur um Rat.

► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber und von
Personen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
► Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
► Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind 8 Jahre und älter und
werden beaufsichtigt.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
► Legen Sie das Gerät niemals im eingeschalteten Zustand ab und
lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
► Legen Sie das Gerät nie in die Nähe von Wärmequellen und
schützen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung vor Beschädigungen.
► Falls das Gerät heruntergefallen oder beschädigt ist, dürfen Sie
es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen. Lassen Sie das Gerät von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls reparieren.
► Decken Sie das Luftansauggitter während des Betriebs nicht ab.
Reinigen Sie es in regelmäßigen Abständen.
► Die Geräteteile können im Betrieb heiß werden. Fassen Sie daher
nur den Handgriff und die Tasten an.
► Benutzen Sie das Gerät immer nur mit aufgesteckten Aufsätzen,
niemals alleine, weil der Aufsatz-Steckplatz im Betrieb heiß wird.
► Bevor Sie Aufsätze aufstecken oder abnehmen, lassen Sie erst
das Gerät abkühlen.
► Verwenden Sie nur die mitgelieferten Original Zubehörteile, weil
diese für das Zusammen-wirken mit dem Gerät optimiert sind.
Andere Teile sind möglicherweise nicht ausreichend sicher.

► Halten Sie die Öff nungen für den Lufteintritt und Luftaustritt frei für
eine ungehinderte Luftströmung. Sonst kann das Gerät überhitzen.
► Seien Sie vorsichtig mit Haarspray, Wasserzerstäuber usw. Zum
einen kann es sein, dass Ihnen der Luftzug diese Mittel vielleicht
direkt in die Augen bläst. Zum anderen dürfen diese aber auch
nicht in das Gerät gelangen – weil sie vielleicht brennbar, aggressiv oder leitfähig sein könnten.

Inbetriebnahme
■ Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass ...
– das Gerät oder die Zubehörteile in einwandfreiem Zustand sind,
– alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernt sind.
■ Reinigen Sie die Zubehörteile, wie unter “Reinigen und Pfl egen“ beschrieben.

► Nach vorangegangenem Betrieb können die Geräteteile heiß sein!
Aufsatz aufsetzen
■ Stecken Sie den gewünschten Aufsatz auf den Aufsatz-Steckplatz 1, so
dass das vordere Pfeilsymbol am Aufsatz auf das Pfeilsymbol am AufsatzSteckplatz 1 weist
■ Drehen Sie den Aufsatz im Uhrzeigersinn, bis dieser hörbar einrastet. Der
hintere Pfeil am Aufsatz weist nun auf den Pfeil am Aufsatz-Steckplatz 1
.
Aufsatz abnehmen
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät erst aus und lassen Sie es abkühlen.
■ Drücken Sie die Entriegelungstaste „push“ 7 und drehen Sie den Aufsatz
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
■ Der Aufsatz kann nun durch Ziehen vom Aufsatz-Steckplatz 1 abgenommen
werden.

Ein-/Ausschalten / Stufe wählen
■ Wenn Sie den gewünschten Aufsatz aufgesetzt und den Netzstecker in
die Steckdose gesteckt haben, können Sie am Stufenschalter 3 das Gerät
einschalten und die Stufe wählen:
– „0“ das Gerät ist ausgeschaltet
– „1“ für niedrige Gebläse-Stärke mit Wärme
– „2“ für hohe Gebläse-Stärke mit Wärme
■ Sie können das Gerät ausschalten, indem Sie den Stufenschalter 3 auf „0“
schieben (= Gerät aus).
■ Um das Styling zu fi xieren, können Sie den Schiebeschalter Cool Shot 2
benutzen. Durch den kühlen Luftstrom wird das Styling fi xiert:
– Schieben Sie während des Betriebes den Schiebeschalter Cool Shot 2
nach oben. Der Luftstrom wird kühler.
– Wenn Sie den kalten Luftstrom wieder deaktivieren wollen, schieben Sie
den Schiebeschalter Cool Shot 2 nach unten.

Große Rundbürste
Dieser Aufsatz verleiht dem Haar mehr Volumen oder große Locken.
■ Wickeln Sie die leicht feuchte Haarsträhne um die große Rundbürste q.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät auf Stufe 1 oder 2.
■ Wenn die Strähne trocken ist, schieben Sie den Schiebeschalter Cool Shot
2 nach oben. Warten Sie, bis die Strähne ausgekühlt ist.
■ Drehen Sie die große Rundbürste q aus der Strähne heraus.
■ Verfahren Sie mit den anderen Strähnen genauso.
Kleine Rundbürste
Mit diesem Aufsatz können Sie Locken oder Wellen ins Haar bringen.
■ Wickeln Sie die leicht feuchte Haarsträhne um die kleine Rundbürste 0.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät auf Stufe 1 oder 2.
■ Wenn die Strähne trocken ist, schieben Sie den Schiebeschalter Cool Shot 2
nach oben. Warten Sie, bis die Strähne ausgekühlt ist.
■ Drehen Sie die kleine Rundbürste 0 aus der Strähne heraus.
■ Verfahren Sie mit den anderen Strähnen genauso.

Lockenzange
Mit diesem Aufsatz können Sie kleine Spirallocken (Engelslocken) ins Haar
bringen.
■ Fixieren Sie die Spitze der Strähne mit dem Clip der Lockenzange 9.
■ Wickeln Sie die leicht feuchte Haarsträhne dann um die Lockenzange 9.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät auf Stufe 1 oder 2.
■ Wenn die Strähne trocken ist, schieben Sie den Schiebeschalter Cool Shot 2
nach oben. Warten Sie, bis die Strähne ausgekühlt ist.
■ Ziehen Sie die Lockenzange 9 aus der Strähne heraus.
■ Verfahren Sie mit den anderen Strähnen genauso.

Dieser Aufsatz eignet sich zum Trocknen von besonders langem Haar.
■ Fassen Sie eine Haarsträhne mit der aufgeklappten Doppelbürste w nahe

Tipps für die perfekte Frisur
■ Stylen Sie Ihre Haare erst, wenn sie schon fast trocken sind.
■ Teilen Sie die Haare in einzelne Strähnen auseinander, um mehr Fülle zu
erzielen.
■ Sie erzielen zusätzlich mehr Fülle im Haar, wenn Sie die Haare zuerst vom
Haaransatz beginnend zu den Spitzen trocknen.
■ Warten Sie nach dem Abschalten des Gerätes noch ein paar Sekunden,
bevor Sie die Locke lösen.
■ Lassen Sie vor dem Auskämmen der Frisur die Haare erst gut auskühlen.
■ Fixieren Sie die Frisur mit etwas Haarspray.
