Consignes de sécurité
RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
► Raccordez l'appareil uniquement sur une prise
secteur installée en bonne et due forme avec une
tension secteur de 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.
► Faites remplacer immédiatement les fi ches secteur
ou les câbles secteurs endommagés par des
techniciens spécialisés autorisés ou par le service
clientèle pour éviter tout risque.
► En cas de dysfonctionnements et avant de net-
toyer l'appareil, débranchez la fi che secteur de
la prise secteur.
► Tirez toujours la fi che secteur de la prise secteur,
sans tirer sur le câble lui-même.
► Ne pliez et ne coincez pas le câble secteur et
acheminez le câble secteur de telle manière que
personne ne puisse marcher ou trébucher dessus.
► Veillez à ce que le câble secteur ne soit pas mouillé
ou humide en cours d'opération. Acheminez-le de
telle manière qu'il ne soit ni coincé ni endommagé.
► Si l'appareil venait à être endommagé, arrêtez
aussitôt de vous en servir pour éviter tous dangers.
► N'enroulez pas le câble autour de l'appareil et
protégez-le contre tous dommages.
► N'utilisez pas de câble de rallonge afi n que la prise
de courant soit facile à atteindre en cas d'urgence.
► Ne saisissez jamais l'appareil, le câble secteur
et la fi che secteur avec des mains mouillées.

RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
► Vous ne devez en aucun cas plonger l'appareil dans
l'eau et vous ne devez laisser pénétrer aucun liquide
dans le boîtier de l'appareil. Vous ne devez pas exposer l'appareil à l'humidité. L'utilisation de l'appareil
à l'extérieur est interdite. Si toutefois du liquide devait
pénétrer dans le boîtier de l'appareil, débranchez
immédiatement la fi che de la prise secteur et confi ez
l'appareil à un atelier spécialisé pour réparation.
► Coupez aussitôt l'appareil de l'alimentation sec-
teur après usage. L'appareil ne sera totalement
hors tension qu'à partir du moment où la fi che
sera débranchée de la prise de courant.
► Attention, aucun objet, tel que des pinces à che-
veux métalliques, des clips ou des épingles à cheveux, ne doit jamais pénétrer dans l'appareil.
► Débranchez le connecteur de la prise secteur
après utilisation de l'appareil dans une salle de
bains : en eff et la présence d'eau constitue un
danger même si l'appareil est à l'arrêt.

RISQUE DE CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE
N'utilisez pas l'appareil à proximité de baignoires, de lavabos ou d'autres récipients
contenant de l'eau. La proximité d'eau représente un danger, même si l'appareil est éteint.
A titre de protection supplémentaire, nous
recommandons l'installation d'un relais disjoncteur contre les courants de fuite avec un seuil
de déclenchement impérativement inférieur à
30 mA dans le circuit électrique de la salle de
bains. Demandez conseiller à votre électricien.

AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE D'ACCIDENT!
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil branché sans surveillance.
► Ne laissez jamais l'appareil à proximité de sources de
chaleur et protégez le câble secteur de tous dégâts.
► Si l'appareil est tombé ou est endommagé, vous
ne devez pas le remettre en fonctionnement.
Faites inspecter et réparer, le cas échéant, l'appareil par des techniciens spécialisés et qualifi és.
► Il est interdit d'ouvrir le boîtier de l'appareil et de
le réparer. Dans ce cas, la sécurité n'est plus assurée et vous perdez le bénéfi ce de la garantie.
Confi ez les réparations de l'appareil défectueux
uniquement à un technicien spécialisé.
► Les pièces de l'appareil peuvent devenir brû-
lantes en cours d'utilisation. Par conséquent, ne
touchez que la poignée et les boutons.
► Les enfants à partir de l'âge de 8 ans ou les per-
sonnes souff rant d'un handicap physique ou psycho-moteur ou encore les personnes souff rant de
défi ciences mentales doivent toujours rester sous
la surveillance d'un adulte s'ils utilisent ce genre
d'appareil, même si l'usage de l'appareil leur
aurait été expliqué. Ne pas laisser un enfant jouer
avec cet appareil. Les opérations de nettoyage
et d'entretien ne doivent pas être faites par des
enfants, même sous surveillance d'un adulte.
► Utilisez toujours l'appareil avec les modules insé-
rés, jamais seul, car l'emplacement d'insertion
des modules chauff e en cours d'opération.

AVERTISSEMENT !
RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !
► Avant d'insérer ou de retirer les modules, laissez
d'abord refroidir l'appareil.
► N'utilisez que les accessoires d'origine fournis car ils
ont été optimisés pour l'interaction au sein de l'appareil. Les autres pièces présentent un risque potentiel.
► Assurez-vous que les ouvertures d'entrée et de sor-
tie d'air laissent circuler l'air sans le gêner. Dans le
cas contraire, l'appareil risque de surchauff er.
► Manipulez la laque, le vaporisateur d'eau, etc,
avec précaution. D'une part, il peut arriver que
le fl ux d'air de ces produits soit directement projeté dans les yeux. Par ailleurs, ils ne doivent pas
pénétrer à l'intérieur de l'appareil – en raison
du risque qu'ils soient infl ammables, agressifs ou
conducteurs d'électricité.

Déballage
♦ Sortir du carton les pièces de l'appareil et le mode d'emploi.
♦ Retirer tous les matériaux d'emballage.
AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE D'ÉTOUFFEMENT !
► Les matériaux d'emballage ne sont pas un jouet et ne doivent donc pas
être considérés comme tels. Il y a un risque d'étouff ement.
Recyclage de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au cours du
transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés selon des critères de
respect de l'environnement et de recyclage, de sorte qu'ils peuvent être recyclés.
Le retour de l'emballage dans les fi lières de recyclage permet d'économiser les
matières premières et réduit la formation de déchets. Remettre les matériaux d'emballage qui ne sont plus utilisés dans les points de collecte prévus par la réglementation.

REMARQUE
Dans la mesure du possible, conservez l'emballage d'origine pendant la

période sous garantie de l'appareil, pour pouvoir emballer l'appareil en
bonne et due forme en cas de garantie.
Mise en service
■ Avant de mettre en service l'appareil, veuillez vous assurer que...
– l'appareil ou les accessoires sont en parfait état,
– tous les emballages ont été enlevés.
■ Nettoyez tous les accessoires, conformément aux instructions fi gurant sous
"Nettoyage et entretien".
Installer / retirer le module
AVERTISSEMENT ! RISQUE D'ACCIDENT !
► Après opération, les pièces de l'appareil peuvent être chaudes !
Installer le module
■ Enfi chez le module souhaité sur l’emplacement fi xation du module 1 en
vérifi ant qu'il s'enclique bien.
Retirer le module
■ Eteignez d'abord l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
■ Retirez le module du port der l’emplacement fi xation du module 1.
Arrêt / marche / sélection du niveau
■ Lorsque vous avez inséré le module souhaité et inséré la fi che secteur dans
la prise secteur, vous pouvez allumer l'appareil au niveau du commutateur
à multi-positions 3 et sélectionner le niveau :
– "0" l'appareil est éteint
– "C" pour un débit d'air frais (Cool shot)
– "1" pour un débit d'air chaud
– "2" pour un débit d'air très chaud
■ Vous pouvez éteindre l'appareil en faisant glisser le commutateur multi-posi-
tions 3 sur "0" (= appareil éteint).
■ Pour fi xer la coiff ure, vous pouvez mettre le commutateur multi-positions 3
sur "C". La coiff ure est fi xée par le fl ux d'air froid:

Styles de coiff ure
Prenez le module souhaité:
– pour des cheveux longs et des grandes boucles : prendre la brosse à
boucler de grand format 4.
– pour des cheveux courts ou de petites boucles : prendre la brosse à
boucler de petit format 8.
■ Enroulez la mèche de cheveu légèrement humide autour de la brosse à
boucler 4/8.
■ Enclenchez l'appareil au niveau 1 ou 2.
■ Lorsque la mèche est sèche, mettez le commutateur 3 sur la position "C".
Attendez jusqu'à ce que la mèche ait refroidi.
■ Appuyez sur la molette 2 tout en faisant avec l'appareil un mouvement
vers le bas en sortant de la mèche de cheveux. La brosse 4/8 se tourne
pendant le mouvement, ce qui fait que la mèche de cheveux se met en forme
sans diffi culté.
■ Procédez de la même manière avec les autres mèches.
Conseils pour une coiff ure parfaite
■ Ne travaillez vos cheveux que lorsqu'ils sont pratiquement secs.
■ Séparez les cheveux en plusieurs mèches afi n de leur donner plus de
volume.
■ Pour obtenir plus de volume, commencez à sécher les cheveux à partir de la
base et continuez jusqu'aux pointes.
■ Attendez avant de peigner la coiff ure que les cheveux aient bien refroidi.

■ Nettoyer l'appareil exclusivement à l'aide d'un chiff on légèrement humide.
■ Laissez entièrement sécher l'appareil avant de l'utiliser à nouveau ou de le
ranger.
■ Essuyez les brosses à boucler 4/8 à l'aide d'un chiff on humidifi é.
■ Nettoyez régulièrement la grille d'entrée d'air 7 à l'aide d'une brosse
douce.
Rangement
■ Vous pouvez suspendre l'appareil au niveau de l'œillet de suspension 5.
■ Conservez l'appareil dans un endroit sec et propre.
Mise au rebut
Ne jetez en aucun l'appareil dans les déchets normaux.
Ce produit est assujetti à la directive européenne 2002/96/EC
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Eliminez l'appareil par l'intermédiaire d'une entreprise de traitement des déchets
autorisée ou via le service de recyclage de votre commune. Respectez la
réglementation en vigueur. En cas de doute, prenez contact avec votre centre
de recyclage.

L'appareil a été fabriqué avec soin et consciencieusement contrôlé avant sa
distribution.
Veuillez conserver le ticket de caisse en guise de preuve d'achat. Dans le cas
où la garantie s'applique, veuillez appeler le service après-vente compétent.
Cette condition doit être respectée pour assurer l'expédition gratuite de votre
marchandise.
REMARQUE
Le produit est uniquement destiné à un usage privé, à l'exclusion de tout usage
professionnel. La garantie est annulée en cas de manipulation incorrecte et inappropriée, d'utilisation brutale et en cas d'intervention qui n'aurait pas été réalisée
par notre centre de service après-vente agréé.
Cette garantie ne constitue pas une restriction de vos droits légaux.
Une prestation au titre de la garantie ne prolonge pas la période de garantie.
Cette disposition s'applique également pour les pièces remplacées ou réparées.
Signaler sans retard toute anomalie éventuelle sur le matériel (casse, pièce
manquante, etc.) au moment de l'achat, au plus tard deux jours après la date
d'achat.
Toute réparation fera l'objet d'une facture après l'échéance de la période de
garantie.
Cette garantie ne couvre que les vices de fabrication, elle ne couvre pas

Sicherheitshinweise
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts-
mäßig installierte Netzsteckdose mit einer Netzspannung von 220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz an.
► Lassen Sie beschädigte Netzstecker oder Netz-
kabel sofort von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder
dem Kundenservice austauschen, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen, und bevor Sie
das Gerät reinigen, den Netzstecker aus der
Netzsteckdose.
► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel stets am Netzstecker aus
der Netzsteckdose, ziehen Sie nicht am Kabel selbst.
► Knicken oder quetschen Sie das Netzkabel nicht
und verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass im Betrieb das Netzkabel
nicht nass oder feucht wird. Führen Sie es so, dass es
nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt werden kann.
► Sollte das Gerät beschädigt sein, benutzen Sie
es auf keinen Fall weiter, um Gefährdungen zu
vermeiden.
► Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das Gerät
und schützen Sie es vor Beschädigungen.
► Verwenden Sie kein Verlängerungskabel, damit im
Notfall der Netzstecker schnell zu erreichen ist.
► Fassen Sie das Gerät, Netzkabel und -stecker nie
mit nassen Händen an.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
► Sie dürfen das Gerät keinesfalls in eine Flüssigkeit
tauchen und keine Flüssigkeiten in das Gerätegehäuse gelangen lassen. Sie dürfen das Gerät keiner
Feuchtigkeit aussetzen und nicht im Freien benutzen.
Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerätegehäuse
gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Netzsteckdose und lassen Sie es von
qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Trennen Sie das Gerät sofort nach dem Gebrauch
vom Stromnetz. Nur wenn Sie den Netzstecker aus
der Netzsteckdose ziehen, ist es vollständig stromfrei.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass niemals Gegenstände in
das Gerät gelangen können, insbesondere nicht
metallische Haarklammern, Clips oder Haarnadeln.
► Wenn das Gerät im Badezimmer verwendet
wird, ist nach Gebrauch der Netzstecker zu ziehen, da die Nähe von Wasser eine Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.

STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR
Dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Badewannen, Duschwannen oder anderen Gefäßen
benutzen, die Wasser enthalten.
Die Nähe von Wasser stellt eine Gefahr dar,
auch wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist. Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird Ihnen die Installation
einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung mit einem
Bemessungsauslösestrom von nicht mehr als
30 mA im Badezimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen.

► Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals

ist, dürfen Sie es nicht mehr in Betrieb nehmen.
Lassen Sie das Gerät von qualifi ziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen und gegebenenfalls reparieren.
► Sie dürfen das Gerätegehäuse nicht selbst öff nen
oder reparieren. In diesem Falle ist die Sicherheit
nicht gegeben und die Gewährleistung erlischt.
Lassen Sie das defekte Gerät nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal reparieren.
► Die Geräteteile können im Betrieb heiß werden. Fas-
sen Sie daher nur den Handgriff und die Knöpfe an.
► Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren
sowie von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen benutzt
werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich
des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder dürfen nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und BenutzerWartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt

► Bevor Sie Aufsätze aufstecken oder abnehmen,
lassen Sie erst das Gerät abkühlen.
► Verwenden Sie nur die mitgelieferten Original
Zubehörteile, weil diese für das Zusammenwirken mit dem Gerät optimiert sind. Andere Teile
sind möglicherweise nicht ausreichend sicher.
► Halten Sie die Öff nungen für den Lufteintritt und
Luftaustritt frei für eine ungehinderte Luftströmung.
Sonst kann das Gerät überhitzen.
► Seien Sie vorsichtig mit Haarspray, Wasserzerstäu-
ber usw. Zum einen kann es sein, dass Ihnen der
Luftzug diese Mittel vielleicht direkt in die Augen
bläst. Zum anderen dürfen diese aber auch nicht
in das Gerät gelangen – weil sie vielleicht brennbar, aggressiv oder leitfähig sein könnten.

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem
Karton.
♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Inbetriebnahme
■ Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass ...
– das Gerät oder die Zubehörteile in einwandfreiem Zustand sind,
– alle Verpackungsmaterialien entfernt sind.
■ Reinigen Sie die Zubehörteile, wie unter “Reinigen und Pfl egen“ beschrieben.
Aufsatz aufsetzen / abnehmen

► Nach vorangegangenem Betrieb können die Geräteteile heiß sein!
Aufsatz aufsetzen
■ Stecken Sie den gewünschten Aufsatz auf den Aufsatz-Steckplatz 1, so
dass er einrastet.
Aufsatz abnehmen
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät erst aus und lassen es abkühlen.
■ Ziehen Sie den Aufsatz vom Aufsatz-Steckplatz 1.
Ein-/Ausschalten / Stufe wählen
■ Wenn Sie den gewünschten Aufsatz aufgesetzt und den Netzstecker in die
Netzsteckdose gesteckt haben, können Sie am Stufenschalter 3 das Gerät
einschalten und die Stufe wählen:
– „0“ das Gerät ist ausgeschaltet
– „C“ für einen kalten Luftstrom (Cool shot)
– „1“ für einen warmen Luftstrom
– „2“ für einen heißen Luftstrom
■ Sie können das Gerät ausschalten, indem Sie den Stufenschalter 3 auf „0“
schieben (= Gerät aus).
■ Um das Styling zu fi xieren, können Sie den Stufenschalter 3 auf „C“ schie-
ben. Durch den kühlen Luftstrom wird das Styling fi xiert.

Stylen
Wählen Sie den gewünschten Aufsatz:
– für lange Haare und größere Locken die große Stylingbürste 4.
– für kürzere Haare oder kleine Locken die kleine Stylingbürste 8.
■ Wickeln Sie die leicht feuchte Haarsträhne um die ausgewählte Stylingbürste
4/8.
■ Schalten Sie das Gerät auf Stufe 1 oder 2.
■ Wenn die Strähne trocken ist, schieben Sie den Stufenschalter 3 auf „C“.
Warten Sie, bis die Strähne ausgekühlt ist.
■ Drücken Sie die Ausrolltaste 2 und ziehen Sie zeitgleich das Gerät nach
unten aus der Strähne heraus. Die Stylingbürste 4/8 dreht sich dabei mit,
so dass sich die Strähne leicht herausdrehen lässt.
■ Verfahren Sie mit den anderen Strähnen genauso.
Tipps für die perfekte Frisur
■ Stylen Sie Ihre Haare erst, wenn sie schon fast trocken sind.
■ Teilen Sie die Haare in einzelne Strähnen auseinander, um mehr Fülle zu
erzielen.
■ Sie erzielen zusätzlich mehr Fülle im Haar, wenn Sie die Haare zuerst vom
Haaransatz beginnend zu den Spitzen trocknen.
■ Lassen Sie vor dem Auskämmen der Frisur die Haare erst gut auskühlen.

■ Reinigen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.
■ Lassen Sie das Gerät vor der erneuten Benutzung oder vor dem Verstauen
vollständig trocknen.
■ Wischen Sie die Stylingbürsten 4/8 gegebenenfalls mit einem feuchten
Tuch ab.
■ Reinigen Sie in regelmäßigen Abständen das Luftansauggitter 7 mit einer
weichen Bürste.
Aufbewahren
■ Sie können das Gerät an der Aufhängeöse 5 aufhängen.
■ Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem tockenen und staubfreien Ort auf.
Gerät entsorgen
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in den normalen Hausmüll.
Dieses Produkt unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC
(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über

Safety instructions
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Connect the appliance only to mains power
sockets supplying a mains power voltage of
220 - 240 V ~ / 50 Hz.
► To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or
power cables to be replaced at once by qualifi ed
technicians or our Customer Service Department.
► In the event of operating malfunctions, and be-
fore cleaning the appliance, disconnect the plug
from the mains power socket.
► To disconnect the power cable, always pull the plug
from the socket, do not pull the power cable itself.
► Do not crimp or crush the power cable and lay
it in such a way as to prevent anyone from stepping on or tripping over it.
► Ensure that the power cable does not become
wet or moist during use. Place it such that it cannot be crushed or damaged.
► Should the appliance become damaged, to avoid
personal risks discontinue the use of it immediately.
► Do not wrap the power cable around the appli-
ance and protect it from being damaged.
► To enable you to disconnect the appliance
quickly in the event of an emergency, do not use
extension cables.
► NEVER grasp the appliance, the power cable or

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
► Under no circumstances may the appliance be
submersed in fl uids or fl uids be allowed to permeate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to
humidity and do not use it outdoors. Should liquids
enter the housing, disconnect the appliance from
the mains power socket immediately and arrange
for it to be repaired by a qualifi ed technician.
► Disconnect the appliance from the mains power
source immediately after use. The appliance is
completely free of electrical power ONLY when
unplugged.
► Ensure that objects can never penetrate into the
inside of the appliance, particularly not metal
hair clips, grips or hairpins.
► If the appliance is being used in the bathroom, after
use disconnect the plug from the mains power socket, because the close proximity of water represents
a hazard, even when the appliance is switched off .

Disposal of the packaging

First use
■ Before taking the appliance into use ensure that ...
– the appliance and the attachments are in good working order,
– all packaging materials have been removed.

Fitting Attachments
■ Fit the desired attachment into the attachment insertion slot 1, so that it
clicks into position.
Removing attachments
■ First switch the appliance off and allow it to cool down..
■ Pull the attachment from the attachment insertion slot 1.
Switching on/off / Selecting a heat level
■ When you have inserted the required attachment and connected the plug
with the mains power socket, you can now switch the appliance on with the
level switch 3 and select the output level:
– "0" The appliance is switched off
– "C" for a cold air stream (Cool Shot)
– "1" for a warm air stream
– "2" for a hot air stream
■ You switch the appliance off by sliding the level switch 3 to the position "0"
(= appliance off ).
■ To fi x the styling, you can move the level switch 3 to "C". The styling will be
fi xed by the cool air stream.

Styling
Select the desired attachment:
– for long hair and large curls the large styling brush 4.
– for shorter hair or small curls the small styling brush 8.
■ Wind the slightly damp strand of hair around the selected styling brush 4/8.
■ Switch the appliance on at level 1 or 2.
■ When the strand is dry, slide the level switch 3 to "C". Wait until the strand
has cooled.
■ Press the roll-out button 2 and simultaneously pull the appliance downwards
out of the strand. The styling brush 4/8 rotates with it, so that unwinding
the strand can be done easily.
■ Proceed with the other strands in the same way.
Tips for the perfect hairstyle
■ Only style your hair when it is already almost dry.
■ Divide your hair into individual strands for more volume.
■ You will achieve additional volume by starting to dry your hair at the hairline
and working down towards the ends.
■ Let your hair cool down suffi ciently before combing it out.
