You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part
of this product. They contain important information about safety, usage and
disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating
and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of
applications specified. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any
future owner.
Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for grilling and heating food indoors.
This appliance is intended solely for use in private households. Do not use it for
commercial purposes.

► To prevent accidents, have defective plugs and/or power
cables replaced immediately by an authorised specialist
technician or our Customer Service department.
► Do not allow the power cable to come into contact with
hot appliance parts. Never use the appliance near naked
flames, a hotplate or a heated oven.
► Do not expose the appliance to rain, and never use it in
a humid or wet environment. Ensure that the power cable
never becomes wet or moist during operation.
► Check the device for visible external damage before use.
Do not operate a device that has been damaged or dropped.
► The power cable must be checked for signs of damage at
regular intervals. If the power cable is damaged, the appliance
may no longer be used.

protective earth.
► The device must not come into contact with moisture such as
rain or water.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid!
There is a risk of fatal electric shock if residual liquids come
into contact with live components during operation.

► This appliance may be used by children of the age of 8 years
or more and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge
only if they are being supervised or have been instructed with
regard to the safe use of the appliance and have understood
the potential risks.
► Children must not play with the device.
► Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by
children unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised.
► Children younger than 8 years must be kept away from the
appliance and the power cable.
► After use, allow the appliance to cool down completely
before cleaning it. Risk of burns!
► If possible, set up the appliance close to a power socket.
Ensure that the power plug is quickly reachable in case of
danger, and that the cable poses no risk of tripping.
► Provide a stable location for the appliance.
► Touch only the temperature control while the appliance is in use.
The surfaces of the appliance become very hot during use.

► Do not use an external timer switch or a separate remote
control system to operate the appliance.
► Never leave the device unattended during operation.
► Ensure that the appliance, the power cable and the plug do
not come into contact with heat sources such as hotplates or
naked flames.
► Do not use charcoal or similar fuels to operate the appliance!
► To protect the non-stick coating on the pans and the grill, do
not use metallic tools such as knives, forks, etc.
► Operate the appliance only with the original accessories
supplied.

Assembly and setting up
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
► Never place the device underneath wall cupboards or next to curtains,
cupboard walls or other flammable objects.
► Always place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface.
1) Take all the parts out of the box and remove the packaging material and any
protective wrapping or stickers.
2) Clean all of the components as described in the Chapter "Cleaning and care"
to remove any packaging residue. Ensure that all parts are completely dry.
3) Place the appliance on a clean and level heat-resistant surface. Do not place
the appliance directly next to a wall or a cupboard. Each person should have
unimpaired access to the pans .
4) Place the stone griddle on the side of the base unit where the indicator
lamps are located. The surrounding fat channel must be facing upwards, the
holding pins in the base must protrude into the recesses in the underside of the
stone griddle so that it sits firmly on the base.
5) Place the griddle onto the other side of the base. Here you can choose
between the smooth griddle or the grooved griddle surface. If you use the
grooved griddle, your food will have the typical grill pattern.
6) Push the pans into the device.
Before first use
The appliance is assembled and set up as described above.
1) Set the temperature control to MIN.
2) Insert the plug into a mains power socket. The power indicator lamp lights
up red to show that the appliance is connected to the mains.
3) Turn the temperature control to MAX. The heat-up indicator lamp lights
up green to show that the appliance is heating up. As soon as the heat-up
indicator lamp goes off, the appliance has heated up.
4) After 20 minutes, turn the temperature control to MIN.
5) Then pull out the plug and allow the appliance to cool down.

NOTE
► The first time the appliance heats up, a small amount of smoke and odour
may be generated due to production-related residue. This is normal and is
completely harmless. Ensure sufficient ventilation; for example, by opening
a window.
6) Clean the griddle , the stone griddle , the spatula and the pans as
described in the section "Cleaning and care".
7) Ensure that all parts are completely dry before operating the device.
The appliance is now ready for use.

► The heat-up indicator lamp may come on and go out several times
during this process. This is not an appliance malfunction! It merely indicates that the appliance is maintaining the set temperature.
► Depending on the room temperature, heating up will start at different
positions on the temperature control . The appliance does not heat
up at normal room temperature in the striped area of the temperature
control scale . If you turn the temperature control towards MAX,
you will hear a slight "click" and the appliance will start to heat up.
If you only want to use the raclette, allow the appliance to heat up for 10 minutes. If you want to use the stone griddle at the same time to grill food, wait
around 30 minutes until the stone griddle has heated up (see Chapter
"Grill").

► Apart from the insulated handles, the pans are very hot! Therefore, hold
the pans only by the handle!
8) Empty the contents of the pan onto your plate using the spatula .
You can now refill the pan and push it back into the device. Do not push
used, but empty pans into the device. Any remaining food in the pans
could burn on.
NOTE
► Because of the non-stick coating in the pans , it is not necessary to re-
grease them before every use.
9) Once you have finished using the appliance, turn the temperature control
to "MIN" and remove the plug from the mains socket.
Using the griddle and the stone griddle , you can simultaneously grill meat,
vegetables or small pieces of fruit to accompany the raclette.
NOTE
► The griddle takes about 10 minutes to heat up. You cannot cook food
on the griddle until then!
► The stone griddle takes about 30 minutes to heat up. You cannot cook
food on the stone griddle until then!

Cleaning and care

► Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket! There is a risk of electric shock!
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid!

► Always allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it. Otherwise
there is a risk of burns!
■ It is best to clean the device as soon as it has cooled down. This makes food
residues easier to remove.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
► Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These can damage
the surface of the appliance!
► Do not clean the components of the appliance in a dishwasher!
► Do not clean the stone griddle until it has cooled down. Otherwise the
stone griddle could crack and break.
■ Wipe the device housing and the heating elements with a moist cloth. If neces-
sary, put a little mild detergent on the cloth and wipe this off afterwards with
clear water. Dry everything properly.
■ Clean the griddle , the stone griddle , the spatula and the pans in
warm soapy water. Dry all parts properly after cleaning.
■ 10
NOTE
► You can also use a soft, non-abrasive sponge to clean the stone griddle .
► To remove undesirable odours such as fish smells, rub the stone griddle
down with a little lemon juice.
► The stone griddle takes longer to dry.

Storage
■ Allow the appliance to cool down before putting it away. You can store the
empty, cleaned pans in the appliance.
■ Store the cleaned device in a clean, dust-free and dry place.

The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials which you can
dispose of at your local recycling centre.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date of purchase. If this product
has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are
not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your
original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase
of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion.
This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and
the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time
of occurrence.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced
by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a
new warranty period.
Warranty period and statutory claims for defects
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs effected under the warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at
the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out
after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.
Scope of the warranty
This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines
and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.
The warranty covers material faults or production faults. The warranty does not extend
to product parts subject to normal wear and tear or fragile parts such as switches,
batteries, baking moulds or parts made of glass.
The warranty does not apply if the product has been damaged, improperly used or
improperly maintained. The directions in the operating instructions for the product
regarding proper use of the product are to be strictly followed. Uses and actions that
are discouraged in the operating instructions or which are warned against must be
avoided.
This product is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The
warranty shall be deemed void in cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force
and modifications/repairs which have not been carried out by one of our authorised

► Üzemeltetés közben soha se hagyja a készüléket felügyelet

► Ügyeljen arra, hogy a készülék, a hálózati kábel és a csatla-
kozó ne érjen forró felülethez (pl. főzőlap), illetve azokat ne
érje nyílt láng.
► Ne használjon szenet vagy hasonló tüzelőanyagot a készülék
üzemeltetésére!
► A serpenyők és a grill-lap tapadásmentes bevonata védelme
érdekében ne használjon fém eszközöket, pl. kést, villát stb.
► A készüléket csak a mellékelt eredeti tartozékokkal üzemel-
tesse.

Összeszerelés és felállítás
FIGYELMEZTETÉS! TŰZVESZÉLY!
► Soha ne állítsa a készüléket fali szekrény alá vagy függöny, szekrénysor,
illetve más gyúlékony tárgyak mellé.
► A készüléket csak hőálló felületre helyezze!
1) Vegye ki az összes részt a dobozból, majd távolítsa el a csomagolóanyagot
és az esetleges védőfóliákat és címkéket.
2) Tisztítson meg minden alkatrészt a „Tisztítás és ápolás“ részben leírtak alapján,
hogy eltávolítsa a csomagolás esetleges maradványait. Ügyeljen arra, hogy
valamennyi rész teljesen száraz legyen.
3) Helyezze a készüléket hőálló, tiszta és sima felületre. Ügyeljen arra, hogy a
készüléket ne közvetlenül falhoz vagy szekrényhez állítsa. Minden személynek
problémamentesen el kell tudni érni a kis seprenyőket .
4) Helyezze a kőlapot az alap oldalára, amelyen a működésjelző lámpák
találhatók. A körbefutó zsírcsatornának felfelé kell mutatnia, az alap tartórúdjainak a kőlap alsó részén lévő mélyedésekbe kell nyúlniuk, annak
érdekében, hogy a kőlap stabilan feküdjön az alapon.
5) Helyezze a grill-lapot az alap másik oldalára. Választhat, hogy a sima
grill-felületet vagy a bordás grill-felületet kívánja használni. A bordás grill-felülettel érheti el a tipikus grillmintát az élelmiszereken.
6) Csúsztassa be a serpenyőket a készülékbe.
Az első használat előtt
A készülék az előzőekben leírtak szerint fel van állítva és össze van szerelve:
1) Állítsa a hőmérséklet-szabályozót MIN állásba.
2) Csatlakoztassa a hálózati csatlakozódugót egy aljzatba. A tápellátásjelző
lámpa pirosan világít és azt jelzi, hogy a készülék a hálózatra van csatla-
koztatva.
3) Forgassa a hőmérséklet-szabályozót MAX állásba. Az előmelegítést jelző
lámpa zölden világít és azt jelzi, hogy a készülék melegszik. Amint az elő-
melegítést jelző lámpa kialszik, a készülék elérte a beállított hőmérsékletet.
4) 20 perc elteltével forgassa el a hőmérséklet-szabályozót MIN állásba.
5) Ezután húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozót és hagyja a készüléket lehűlni.

TUDNIVALÓ
► A készülék első felmelegedése során a gyártásból visszamaradt anyagok
miatt enyhe füstöt és szagot érezhet. Ez teljesen normális és veszélytelen.
Gondoskodjon elegendő szellőzésről, nyisson ki például egy ablakot.
6) Tisztítsa meg a grill-lapot , a kőlapot , a szedőlapátokat és a kis
serpenyőket a „Tisztítás és ápolás” fejezetben leírtak szerint.

Használat

► Ha a készüléket forró állapotban akarja szállítani vagy arrébb tenni, akkor
soha ne a fémfelületet, a kőlapot vagy a grill-lapot fogja meg!

Raclette
1) Enyhén olajozza meg a kőlap és a grill-lap tetejét és a serpenyők

TUDNIVALÓ
► Az előmelegítést jelző lámpa időnként világít, majd ismét kialszik. Ez
nem a készülék működési hibája, hanem azt jelzi, hogy a készülék tartja
a beállított hőmérsékletet.
► A környezeti hőmérséklettől függően az előmelegítés a hőmérséklet-sza-
bályozó különböző pozícióján kezdődik. A hőmérséklet-szabályozón
lévő skála csíkozott területén normál szobahőmérsékleten a készülék
nem melegszik. Ha a hőmérséklet-szabályozót MAX irányba forgatja,
akkor halk „klikk” hang hallható, amint a készülék melegedni kezd.
Ha csak raclette sajtot szeretne készíteni, akkor hagyja a készüléket kb.
10 percen keresztül előmelegedni. Ha egyidejűleg a kőlapot is szeretné
grillezéshez használni, akkor várjon kb. 30 percet, amíg a kőlap felmeleg-
szik (lásd a „Grill” fejezetet). A serpenyőket nem kell a készülékbe tolni az
előmelegítéshez.

Grill
FIGYELMEZTETÉS! SÉRÜLÉSVESZÉLY!
► A serpenyők a szigetelt fogójukon kívül nagyon forrók! Ezért a serpe-
nyőket csak a fogójuknál fogja meg!
8) Tolja a serpenyők tartalmát a szedőlapát segítségével egy tányérra.
Ismét megtöltheti a serpenyőt és visszatolhatja a készülékbe. Ne toljon hasz-
nált, de üres serpenyőket a készülékbe. Ellenkező esetben a serpenyőben
lévő élelmiszer-maradványok odaégnek.
TUDNIVALÓ
► A leragadásmentes bevonatnak köszönhetően a serpenyőket nem
szükséges minden adag előtt bezsírozni.
9) Ha nem szeretné tovább használni a készüléket, akkor forgassa el a hőmérséklet-szabályozót MIN állásba és húzza ki a hálózati csatlakozódugót a
csatlakozóaljzatból.
A grill-lapon és a kőlapon a raclette-készítéssel egy időben húst, zöldséget
vagy kisebb gyümölcsdarabokat is grillezhet.
TUDNIVALÓ
► A grill-lap kb. 10 perc alatt melegszik fel. Csak ezután lehet élelmiszereket
készíteni a grill-lapon !
► A kőlap kb. 30 perc alatt melegszik fel. Csak ezután lehet élelmiszereket
készíteni a kőlapon !
1) Enyhén olajozza be a kőlapot és a grill-lapot felülről.
2) Az előmelegítést követően tegye a grillezni kívánt élelmiszert a kőlapra és
a grill-lapra és időnként fordítsa meg.
FIGYELEM! ANYAGI KÁR VESZÉLYE!
► A grill-lapról ne fém eszközökkel - pl. kés, villa, stb. - vegye le a grillezett
