► Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in die Waage oder das
Display gelangt.
► Stellen Sie die Waage nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe von Hitzequellen auf.
Waage und Display dürfen nur bei Temperaturen zwischen 10° und
40° C betrieben werden. Bei höheren oder niedrigeren Temperaturen
kann es zu Fehlfunktionen oder dauerhaften Beschädigungen kommen.
► Belasten Sie die Waage nicht mit einem Gewicht von mehr als 180 kg /
396 lb / 28.35 st! Anderenfalls kann die Waage irreparabel beschädigt
werden.
► Vermeiden Sie elektrostatische Auf- bzw. Entladung. Anderenfalls kann
es zu fehlerhaften Anzeigen bzw. plötzlichem Ausschalten der Waage
kommen.

HINWEISE ZUM UMGANG MIT BATTERIEN
Das Gerät verwendet eine Batterie. Für den Umgang mit Batterien beachten
Sie bitte Folgendes:
► Werfen Sie keine Batterien ins Feuer. Laden Sie Batterien nicht wieder
auf. Explosionsgefahr!
► Öff nen Sie die Batterien niemals, löten oder schweißen Sie nie an
Batterien. Es besteht Explosions- und Verletzungsgefahr!
► Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batterie. Auslaufende Batterien können
Beschädigungen am Gerät verursachen.
► Wenn Sie ein Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, entnehmen Sie die
Batterie.
► Bei ausgelaufenen Batterien ziehen Sie Schutzhandschuhe an. Reinigen
Sie das Batteriefach und die Batteriekontakte mit einem trockenen Tuch.
► Bei Hautkontakt mit ausgelaufener Batteriesäure sofort die betroff enen
Stellen mit reichlich klarem Wasser abwaschen.
► Batterien dürfen nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen. Kinder
könnten Batterien in den Mund nehmen und verschlucken. Sollte eine
Batterie verschluckt worden sein, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

Inbetriebnahme
1) Öff nen Sie das Batteriefach 2, indem Sie den
Deckel in Pfeilrichtung schieben und abnehmen.
2) Legen Sie die Batterie entsprechend ihrer
Polarität in das Batteriefach 2 ein.
3) Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf das
Batteriefach 2, bis er einrastet.
4) Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen fl achen, festen
Untergrund und tippen Sie mit dem Fuß auf die
Mitte, so dass sich die Waage einschaltet.
5) Nehmen Sie die Waage wieder hoch und
stellen Sie die gewünschte Maßeinheit (kg, lb
oder st) durch Drücken der Taste UNIT 1 auf
der Rückseite der Waage ein.
HINWEIS
► Die Maßeinheit muss nur bei der ersten
Benutzung eingestellt w
6) Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen fl achen,
festen Untergrund. Achten Sie darauf, dass sowohl der Boden am Aufstellort der Waage als
auch die Oberfl äche der Waage nicht feucht
sind, es besteht sonst Rutschgefahr!

► Springen Sie niemals auf die Waage, diese

1) Tippen Sie mit dem Fuß auf die Mitte der Waage,
so dass diese sich einschaltet.
2) Stellen Sie sich mit beiden Füßen auf die Waage.
Stehen Sie dabei möglichst ruhig und ohne Ihr
Gewicht zu verlagern.
3) Während des Wiegevorgangs steigt der angezeigte Wert bis Ihr Gewicht ermittelt ist.
4) Wenn das Gewicht ermittelt ist, blinkt das
Ergebnis dreimal im Display 3.
HINWEIS
Sollte das Display 3 w

nicht korrekt messen. In diesem Falle gehen Sie
von der Waage herunter, warten Sie einige
Sekunden und versuchen Sie es noch einmal.

■ Wenn das Gewicht die maximale Wiege-Kapa-
zität von 180 kg / 396 lb / 28.35 st überschreitet, wird „0_Ld“ im Display 3 angezeigt.
Sie sollten sofort von der Waage heruntergehen,
anderenfalls könnte sie beschädigt werden.
■ Wenn das Display 3 „Lo“ anzeigt, müssen Sie
die Batterie erneuern.
Erneuern der Batterie
1) Öff nen Sie das Batteriefach 2, indem Sie den
Deckel in Pfeilrichtung schieben und abnehmen.
2) Drücken Sie die Batterie etwas gegen die
kleine Feder im Batteriefach 2 und heben Sie
die alte Batterie heraus.
3) Legen Sie eine neue Batterie des Typs CR 2032
in das Batteriefach 2 ein. Achten Sie auf die
korrekte Polarität. Diese ist im Batteriefach 2
abgebildet.
4) Schieben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel auf das
Batteriefach 2, bis er einrastet.

■ Beachten Sie, dass Messergebnisse verschie-
dener Waagen geringfügig voneinander
abweichen können.
■ Vermeiden Sie unnötige Batterieentladung.
Lagern Sie daher k

Reparaturen an Ihrer Waage dürfen ausschließlich von qualifi ziertem Servicepersonal
durchgeführt werden!
Für Schäden, die aus unsachgemäßer
Nutzung und/oder Öff nen des Gerätes resultieren, wird keine Haftung übernommen!

Im Fehlerfall oder bei fehlerhaften Anzeigen überprüfen Sie bitte folgende Gegebenheiten:
■ Ist die Batterie entsprechend ihrer Polarität im
Batteriefach 2 eingelegt?
■ Ist die richtige Einheit eingestellt?

■ Entnehmen Sie hierzu die Batterie aus dem
Batteriefach 2.
■ Warten Sie einige Sekunden und setzen Sie die
Batterie wieder in das Batteriefach 2 ein.

entsprechenden Service.

im Garantiefall mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch
in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine kostenlose
Einsendung Ihrer Ware gewährleistet werden.

Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden,

Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpfl ichtet, Batterien/Akkus bei einer Sammelstelle seiner Gemeinde
/ seines Stadtteils oder im Handel abzugeben.
Diese Verpfl ichtung dient dazu, dass Batterien/Akkus einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt
werden können. Geben Sie Batterien/Akkus nur im
entladenen Zustand zurück.

REMARQUES CONCERNANT L'UTILISATION DES PILES
L'appareil fonctionne avec une pile. Veuillez noter que la manipulation
de piles est soumise aux précautions suivantes :
► Ne pas jeter de piles dans le feu. Ne pas recharger les piles.
Risque d'explosion!
► N'ouvrez jamais les piles et n'essayez jamais de les braser ou de les
souder. Risque d'explosion et de blessures!
► Contrôlez régulièrement la pile. Des piles qui coulent peuvent causer
des dommages à l'appareil.
► Retirez la pile si vous laissez l'appareil inutilisé pendant une période
prolongé.
► Si les piles présentent des fuites, mettez des gants de protection.
Nettoyez le compartiment à piles et les contacts des piles à l'aide d'un
chiff on sec.
► En cas de contact cutané avec des piles ayant subi une fuite, laver
immédiatement les zones concernés à l'eau claire.
► Conservez les piles hors de portée des enfants. Les enfants pourraient
mettre les piles dans leur bouche et les avaler. En cas d'ingestion d'une
pile, consulter immédiatement un médecin.

Mise en service
1) Ouvrez le compartiment à piles 2, en faisant
glisser le couvercle en direction de la fl èche et
en le retirant.
2) Insérez la pile en respectant sa polarité dans le
compartiment à piles 2.
3) Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment à
piles sur le compartiment à piles 2, jusqu'à
ce qu'il s'encliquette.
4) Placez le pèse-personne sur une surface plate
et solide et posez le pied au milieu pour qu'il
s'allume.
5) Prenez à nouveau le pèse-personne en mains
et réglez l'unité de mesure souhaitée (kg, lb ou st)
en appuyant sur la touche UNIT 1 au dos du
pèse-personne.
REMARQUE
► L'unité de mesure doit uniquement être réglée
s de la première utilisation.

1) Tapotez avec le pied au milieu du pèsepersonne pour l'allumer.
2) Placez les deux pieds sur le pèse-personne.
Restez immobile dans la mesure du possible,
sans déplacer votre poids.
3) Au cours du processus de pesée, la valeur
affi chée augmente jusqu'à ce que votre poids
ait été déterminé.
4) Lorsque le poids est déterminé, le résultat
clignote trois fois à l'écran 3.
REMARQUE
Si l’écran 3 s‘éteint dur
pesage, la balance ne peut pas mesurer correctement votre poids. Dans ce cas, descendez du
pèse-personne, attendez quelques secondes et
réessayez. Veillez à rester immobile pour ne pas

«0_Ld» s'affi che à l'écran 3. Vous devriez tout
de suite redescendre du pèse-personne pour
éviter de l'endommager.
■ Lorsque l'écran 3 affi che «Lo», vous devez
remplacer la pile.
Remplacement de la pile
1) Ouvrez le compartiment à piles 2, en faisant
glisser le couvercle en direction de la fl èche et
en le retirant.
2) Appuyez légèrement la pile contre le petit ressort
dans le compartiment à piles 2 et retirez
l'ancienne pile.
Placez une pile de type CR 2032 dans le
compartiment à piles 2. Veillez à respecter
la bonne polarité. Celle-ci est illustrée dans le
compartiment à piles 2.
3) Faites glisser le couvercle du compartiment à
piles sur le compartiment à piles 2, jusqu'à
ce qu'il s'encliquette.

sicuro dell'apparecchio e qualora ne abbiano compreso i pericoli associati. I bambini non devono giocare con l'apparecchio. La pulizia e la
manutenzione a cura dell'utente non devono essere eseguite da bambini,

AVVERTENZE RELATIVE ALL'USO DELLE PILE
L'apparecchio utilizza una pila. Per il corretto uso delle pile osservare
quanto segue:
► Non gettare le pile nel fuoco. Non ricaricare le pile. Pericolo di esplosione!
► Non aprire mai le pile, non eff ettuare mai lavori di brasatura o saldature
sulle pile. Pericolo di esplosione e lesioni!
► Controllare periodicamente la pila. Le pile deteriorate possono causare
danni all'apparecchio.
► Se si prevede di non utilizzare un apparecchio per un periodo di tempo
prolungato, rimuovere la pila.
► In presenza di pile deteriorate, indossare guanti protettivi. Pulire il vano
pile e i contatti delle pile con un panno asciutto.
► In caso la pelle venisse a contatto con l'acido delle pile eventualmente
fuoriuscito, sciacquare immediatamente i punti interessati con abbondante acqua pulita.
► Impedire ai bambini di impossessarsi delle pile. I bambini potrebbero
metterle in bocca e ingerirle. In caso di ingestione di una pila, consultare
immediatamente un medico.

Messa in funzione
1) Aprire il vano pile 2, spingendo e rimuovendo
il coperchio nella direzione della freccia.
2) Inserire le pile nel vano pile 2 in base alla
loro polarità.
3) Spingere il coperchio del vano pile sul vano
pile 2, fi no al suo inserimento.
4) Collocare la bilancia su una base piana e
stabile e toccare con il piede il centro della
bilancia per accenderla.
5) Risollevare la bilancia e impostare la misura
desiderata (kg, lb o st) premendo il tasto
UNIT 1 sul retro della bilancia.
AVVERTENZA
► L'unità di misura deve venire impostata solo
quando si utilizza la bilancia per la prima
olta.

6) Collocare la bilancia su una superfi cie piana
e stabile. Controllare che il pavimento su cui
poggia la bilancia e la stessa superfi cie della
bilancia non siano umide, altrimenti sussiste
il rischio di scivolamento!

bilancia con entrambi i piedi. In caso
contrario, la bilancia può ribaltarsi
lateralmente e subire danni irreparabili. Sussiste inoltre pericolo di
caduta!

► Non saltare mai sulla bilancia, altrimenti si
rischia di danneggiarla.
Toccare con il piede il centro della bilancia in

Cercare di restare immobili il più possibile,

3) Durante il procedimento di pesatura, il valore
visualizzato sale fi no ad arrivare alla misurazione del peso.
4) Una volta raggiunto il peso di misurazione, il
risultato lampeggia tre volte nel display 3.
AVVERTENZA
Qualora il display 3 dur
pesatura si dovesse spegnere, la bilancia non
può misurare correttamente il peso. In tal caso,
scendere dalla bilancia, attendere qualche secondo e tentare un‘altra volta. Cercare di restare
immobili e di non interrompere il procedimento
di pesatura.

Messaggi di avviso
■ Quando il peso supera la massima capacità di
pesatura di 180 kg / 396 lb / 28.35 st, nel
display 3 comparirà la scritta “0_Ld”. In tal

caso, scendere immediatamente dalla bilancia,
altrimenti si rischia di danneggiarla.
■ Quando il display 3 visualizza “Lo”, è necessario
sostituire la pila.
Sostituzione della pila
1) Aprire il vano pile 2, spingendo e rimuovendo
il coperchio nella direzione della freccia.
2) Premere leggermente la pila contro la piccola
molla nel vano pile 2 e rimuovere la vecchia
pila sollevandola.
3) Inserire la nuova pila del tipo CR 2032 nel
vano pile 2. Rispettare la polarità corretta.
Essa è riportata nel vano pile 2.
4) Spingere il coperchio del vano pile sul vano
pile 2, fi no al suo inserimento.
Uso e conservazione
■ Ricordare che i risultati di pesatura di diverse
bilance possono variare leggermente fra loro.
■ Evitare lo scaricamento inutile delle pile.

dalla fonte di interferenze durante l’uso.

Pulire la bilancia esclusivamente con detergenti

WAARSCHUWING! LETSELGEVAAR!
► Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8 jaar en door
personen met beperkte fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens
of gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, mits ze onder toezicht staan of over
het veilige gebruik van het apparaat zijn geïnstrueerd en de daaruit
resulterende gevaren hebben begrepen. Kinderen mogen niet met het
apparaat spelen. Kinderen mogen zonder toezicht geen reiniging en
gebruikersonderhoud uitvoeren.
LET OP - MATERIËLE SCHADE!
► Let op dat er geen vloeistof in de weegschaal of op het display terecht-
komt.
► Plaats de weegschaal niet in de directe omgeving van warmtebronnen.
Weegschaal en display mogen alleen bij temperaturen tussen 10° en
40° C in werking gesteld worden. Bij hogere of lagere temperaturen
kunnen storingen of permanente beschadigingen het gevolg zijn.
► Belast de weegschaal niet met een gewicht van meer dan 180 kg /
396 lb / 28,35 st! Anders kan de weegschaal onherstelbaar beschadigd raken.
► Voorkom elektrostatische op-, resp. ontlading. Dit zou tot foute aandui-
dingen, resp. plotseling uitschakelen van de weegschaal kunnen leiden.
► Voor schade door...
– het openen van de behuizing van de weegschaal
– reparatiewerkzaamheden die niet door gekwalifi ceerd en vakkundig
personeel zijn uitgevoerd
– gebruik van de weegschaal dat niet volgens de bestemming is
aanvaarden wij geen aansprakelijkheid en vervalt de garantie.

AANWIJZINGEN VOOR DE OMGANG MET BATTERIJEN
Het apparaat werkt op een batterij. Neem bij de omgang met batterijen
het volgende in acht:
► Gooi geen batterijen in vuur. Laad batterijen niet opnieuw op.
Explosiegevaar!
► Open nooit batterijen en soldeer of las batterijen niet. Er bestaat explosie-
en letselgevaar!
► Controleer de batterij regelmatig. Door lekkende batterijen kan het
apparaat beschadigd raken.
► Haal de batterij uit het apparaat, als u het apparaat langere tijd niet
gebruikt.
► Trek bij lekkende batterijen veiligheidshandschoenen aan. Reinig het
batterijvak en de contacten van de batterij met een droge doek.
► Spoel de huid, als die in aanraking is geweest met lekkend accuzuur,
meteen grondig af met helder water.
► Batterijen mogen niet in kinderhanden terecht komen. Kinderen kunnen
batterijen in de mond stoppen en inslikken. Zoek onmiddellijk medische
hulp als een batterij wordt ingeslikt.

Ingebruikname
1) Schuif de klep in de richting van de pijl en
verwijder de klep om het batterijvak 2 te
openen.
2) Plaats de batterij in het batterijvak 2 en houd
daarbij rekening met de polariteit.
3) Schuif de klep van het batterijvak op het
batterijvak 2 tot de klep vastzit.
4) Plaats de weegschaal op een vlakke, stevige
ondergrond en tik met de voet op het midden
van de weegschaal om deze in te schakelen.
5) Til de weegschaal weer op en druk op de toets
UNIT 1 op de achterkant van de weegschaal
om de maateenheid (kg, lb of st) in te stellen.
OPMERKING
► U hoeft de maateenheid alleen bij het eerste
gebruik in te stellen.
Plaats de weegschaal op een vlakke, stevige

ondergrond. Let erop dat zowel de bodem op
de plaatsingslocatie alsook het oppervlak van
de weegschaal niet vochtig is, anders bestaat
er gevaar voor uitglijden!
OPMERKING
► De weegschaal bevat gevoelige elektronische
componenten en mag daar

► Spring nooit op de weegschaal, om te voor-
omen dat die beschadigd raakt.

1) Tik met de voet op het midden van de weegschaal om deze in te schakelen.
2) Ga met beide voeten op de weegschaal staan.
Blijf daarbij zo rustig mogelijk staan, zonder
uw gewicht te verplaatsen.
3) Tijdens het wegen stijgt de aangegeven waarde
totdat uw gewicht is vastgesteld.
4) Als het gewicht is vastgesteld, knippert het
resultaat drie keer op het display 3.
OPMERKING
Als het display 3 tijdens het w
de weegschaal uw gewicht niet correct meten.
In dit geval stapt u van de weegschaal af, wacht
u een paar seconden en probeert u het nog een
keer.
Let erop dat u rustig staat en het weegproces
niet onderbreekt.

Waarschuwingsmeldingen
■ Als het gewicht de maximale weegcapaciteit
van 180 kg / 396 lb / 28.35 st overschrijdt,
wordt “0_Ld” weergegeven op het display 3.
Stap in dat geval meteen van de weegschaal,
om te voorkomen dat die beschadigd raakt.

■ Als het display 3 “Lo” aangeeft, moet de
batterij worden vervangen.
De batterij vervangen
1) Schuif de klep in de richting van de pijl en verwijder de klep om het batterijvak 2 te openen.
2) Druk de oude batterij licht tegen de kleine veer
in het batterijvak 2 en neem de batterij uit het
batterijvak.
Plaats een nieuwe 3 V batterij van het type
CR 2032 in het batterijvak 2. Let bij het plaatsen op de juiste polariteit. De polariteit staat
aangegeven in het batterijvak 2.

vervalt de garantie.
Uw wettelijke rechten worden door deze garantie
niet beperkt.
De garantieperiode wordt door deze waarborg niet
verlengd. Dat geldt ook voor vervangen en gerepareerde onderdelen. Eventueel al bij aankoop
aanwezige schade en gebreken moeten meteen na
het uitpakken worden gemeld, echter uiterlijk twee
dagen na de aankoopdatum. Voor reparaties na
afl oop van de garantieperiode worden kosten in
rekening gebracht.

U hebt op dit apparaat 3 jaar garantie vanaf de
aankoopdatum. Het apparaat is met de grootst
mogelijke zorg vervaardigd en voorafgaand
aan de levering nauwkeurig gecontroleerd.
Bewaar de kassabon als bewijs van aankoop.
Neem telefonisch contact op met uw servicepunt, mocht u aanspraak willen maken op de
garantie. Alleen op die manier is een kosteloze
verzending van uw product gegarandeerd.
De garantie geldt uitsluitend voor materiaal- of
fabricagefouten, echter niet voor transportschade,
niet voor onderdelen die onderhevig zijn aan
slijtage of voor beschadigingen van breekbare
delen, bijv. schakelaars of accu's. Het product is
uitsluitend bestemd voor privégebruik en niet voor
bedrijfsmatige doeleinden.

Batterijen/accu's mogen niet
met het huishoudelijke afval
worden afgevoerd.
Iedere verbruiker is wettelijke verplicht om batterijen of accu's af te geven bij een inzamelpunt van
de gemeente of wijk of in een winkel.
Deze verplichting heeft tot doel batterijen/accu's
tot afval te kunnen verwerken op een manier die
het milieu ontlast. Lever batterijen/accu's uitsluitend
in ontladen toestand in.
De verpakking bestaat uit milieuvriende-
lijke materialen, die u via de plaatselijke
recyclepunten kunt afvoeren.

► Do not place the scales in the immediate vicinity of heat sources. The
scales and the display may only be operated at temperatures between
10° and 40°C. Higher or lower temperatures can lead to malfunctions
or to permanent damage.
► Do not place any weight of more than 180 kg / 396 lb / 28.35 st
on the scales! This could irreparably damage the scales.
► Avoid electrostatic charging and discharging. These can cause erroneous
displays and/or the sudden deactivation of the scales.

INFORMATION ON USING BATTERIES
This appliance uses a battery. When handling batteries, please observe
the following:
► Do not throw batteries into a fi re. Do not recharge batteries.
Risk of explosion!
► Never open batteries and never solder or weld batteries. Risk of
explosions and injuries!
► Check the condition of the battery regularly. Leaking batteries can
cause damage to the appliance.
► Remove the battery if you do not intend to use the appliance for an
extended period of time.
► If the batteries have leaked, use protective gloves. Clean the battery
compartment and the battery contacts with a dry cloth.
► In the event of skin contact with spilled battery acid, immediately wash
the aff ected area with plenty of water.
► Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Children can put batteries
into their mouth and swallow them. If a battery is swallowed, medical
assistance must be sought immediately.

Initial operation
1) Open the battery compartment 2 by sliding
the cover in the direction of the arrow and then
removing it.
2) Insert the battery into the battery compartment 2 according to its polarity.
3) Slide the cover back on to the battery compartment 2 until it clicks into place.
4) Place the scales on a fl at, fi rm surface and tap
the centre of the scales with your foot to switch
it on.
5) Pick up the scales and set the desired unit of

1) Tap your foot on the middle of the scales to
switch them on.
2) Stand with both feet on the scales. Stand as
still as possible and without displacing your
weight.
3) During the weighing process, the indicated
weight increases until your weight is shown.
4) Once your weight has been determined, the
result blinks three times on the display 3.
NOTE
If the display 3 switches off
the scales cannot measure the weight correctly.
In this case, step down from the scales, wait
a few seconds and then try again. Make sure
you stand still and do not interrupt the weighing
procedure.

Warnings
■ If the weight exceeds the maximum weighing
capacity of 180 kg / 396 lb / 28.35 st, "0_Ld"
is shown in the display 3. You should immediately step down from the scales, otherwise they
could be damaged.
■ If "Lo" appears in the display 3 you need to

replace the battery.
Replacing the battery
1) Open the battery compartment 2 by sliding
the cover in the direction of the arrow and then
removing it.
2) Press the battery against the small spring in the
battery compartment 2 and remove the old
battery.
3) Insert a new 3 V battery, type CR 2032, into
the battery compartment 2. Ensure the polarity
is correct. This is indicated in the battery compartment 2.
4) Slide the cover back on to the battery compartment 2 until it clicks into place.

■ Note that the weighing results from diff erent
scales can vary slightly from each other.
■ Avoid unnecessary battery discharge.
