Congratulations on the purchase of your new device. You have selected a high-quality product. The operating instructions are part of this

product. They contain important information about safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and for the range of applications speciﬁed. Retain these instructions for future reference. Please also pass these operating instructions on to any future owner.

Proper use

This device is a consumer electronics device designed for the reception of FM radio programmes, as a kitchen timer and as an alarm by means of an alarm tone or radio. It is intended only for indoor use. The device is intended to be set up as a free-standing unit or to be installed under a wall cupboard. To do so, the integrated adjustable foot or the mounting plate must be used. The device is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use beyond the scope described. The device is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by failure to observe these instructions, improper use or repairs, unauthorised modiﬁcations or the use of unapproved replacement parts. The risk is borne solely by the user.

Safety

This section contains important safety instructions for handling the device. This device complies with statutory safety regulations. Improper use may result in personal injury and property damage.

Hazard from electrical current

DANGER

Danger to life from electrical current! Contact with live cables or components can is a danger to life!

Comply with the following safety information in order to avoid the hazard from electrical current:

► Do not use the device if the mains power plug or the mains cable is damaged. ► When disconnecting the device from the mains supply, always pull on the

plug and never on the cable.

► Never touch the mains plug or the device with wet hands. ► The device housing must not be opened under any circumstances. Touching

live connections or making modiﬁcations to the electrical or mechanical

assembly can lead to a risk of electrocution and ﬁre.

► Do not insert any objects into the ventilation slots or other openings on the

device.

► The device consumes power in standby mode. To disconnect the device

completely from the mains supply, remove the power plug from the mains

socket. The device must be positioned so that you have unrestricted access

to the mains socket at all times and can pull out the plug immediately in an

emergency.

Notes on batteries

DANGER

Risk of injury caused by incorrect handling of batteries!

► Keep batteries out of the reach of children. Children might put batteries

into their mouths and swallow them. If a battery has been swallowed,

seek medical assistance immediately.

► Do not throw batteries into a ﬁre. Never subject batteries to high temperatures. ► Explosion hazard! Do not charge batteries unless they are explicitly

labelled as "rechargeable".

► Do not open the batteries or short-circuit them. ► Do not mix diﬀerent types of batteries. Empty batteries should be removed

because of the increased risk of leakage. The batteries should also be

removed from the device if it is not being used for long periods.

► Battery acid leaking from a battery can cause skin irritation. If it contacts

your skin, rinse oﬀ with plenty of water. If the liquid comes into contact with

your eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, do not rub and consult a

doctor immediately.

► The section entitled "Inserting batteries" describes how to insert and remove

batteries correctly.

Basic safety instructions

To ensure safe operation of the device, follow the safety guidelines set out below:

■ This device may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by

persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how to use the device safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance conducted by user must not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

■ Protect the connection cable from hot surfaces and sharp edges. Ensure that

the power cable is not stretched tightly or kinked. Do not allow the cable to dangle over edges (tripwire eﬀect).

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist companies or

Customer Service. Improper repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate any warranty claims.

■ Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement

parts. It is ensured only for these parts that they fulﬁl the safety requirements.

■ Do not make any unauthorised modiﬁcations or alterations to the device.

■ Always place the device on a stable and level surface. It can be damaged if

dropped.

■ Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

Otherwise it may overheat and be irreparably damaged.

■ Be sure to provide suﬃcient air circulation to avoid a heat build-up.

Never cover the device. There is a ﬁre hazard!

■ Do not place the product near heat sources such as radiators or other

heat-generating devices.

■ Keep the device away from open ﬂames (e.g. candles) at all times.

■ The device is not designed for use in rooms with high temperature or humidity

(e.g. bathrooms) or excessive dust.

■ Protect the device from spray or dripping water. Never submerge the device

in water, do not place the device near water and do not place any object ﬁlled with liquid (e.g. vases) on top of the device.

■ If you notice a burning smell or smoke, pull out the plug from the mains

socket immediately and remove the batteries.

■ In the event of malfunctions and thunderstorms, disconnect the plug from the

mains socket.

Operation

Package contents and transport inspection

DANGER

► Do not allow children to play with packaging materials.

There is a risk of suﬀocation.

♦ Remove all parts of the device and the operating instructions from the box. ♦ Remove all packaging materials from the device.

Disposal of packaging

The packaging protects the device from damage during transport. The packaging materials have been selected for aspects of environmental friendliness and disposal, and they are therefore recyclable.

Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste that is generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

NOTE

► If possible, keep the original packaging for the complete warranty period

of the device so that the device can be packaged properly for return shipment in the event of a warranty claim.

Requirements for the set-up location

For the safe and trouble-free operation of the device, the set-up location must fulﬁl the following requirements:

■ When setting up the device, place it on a ﬁrm, ﬂat and horizontal surface.

Use the fold-out adjustable foot

■ The surfaces of some items of furniture might contain components that can

corrode and soften the rubber feet of the device. If necessary, place a mat under the device’s rubber feet.

■ Set up or mount the device in such a way that the provided ventilation

openings and speakers

are not covered.

■ Do not operate the device in a hot, wet or extremely damp environment or

near ﬂammable materials.

■ The mounting location must be selected so that the device is not exposed to

vapours. Do not install the device directly over a hotplate.

■ The mains socket must be easily accessible so that the plug can be easily

pulled out in an emergency.

Installation under a wall cupboard

Using the supplied mounting plate , you can install the device, e.g. under a wall cupboard. Proceed as follows to mount the device:

♦ Slide the mounting plate to the rear and remove it from the device. ♦ Find a suitable installation location for the device (see also the section

"Requirements for the set-up location").

♦ Hold the mounting plate under the installation location. Ensure that the front

edge of the mounting plate is approx. 3.1cm behind the front of the cupboard so that the device is connects ﬂush with the cupboard after installation. The side edges of the mounting plate must spaced approx. 6.3cm away from adjacent cabinets or walls.

♦ Mark the 4 mounting points with a pencil. ♦ Using a pin or nail, make a small depression at the respective marking

points.

♦ If required, place the supplied spacers

Connecting to a power supply

CAUTION

► Before connecting the device, compare the connection data of the device

(voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with that of your electrical supply. This data must match so that the device is not damaged.

♦ Insert the power plug into a mains socket. The device starts an automatic

station search and saves the stations that can be received in the max. 20 preset slots. (RDS (radio data system)) ﬂashes brieﬂy on the display. If there is a suitably strong RDS signal, the time and date will be set automatically. If the RDS signal is too weak, the time display ( ) appears on the display

Inserting batteries

You can prevent the programmed time or preset stations from being lost in the event of a power outage by inserting 2 x 1.5V batteries (type AA/Mignon/LR6). The batteries ensure that the internal clock continues to run even during a power outage. The display time automatically appears on the display.

NOTE

► The device can also be operated without batteries. The display, radio and

alarm do not function in emergency mode.

► In the event of a power failure, all settings will be lost.

Handling and use

Making basic settings

Requirement: The device is in clock/standby mode.

NOTE

► If there is a suitably strong RDS signal (radio data system), the time and

date will be set automatically. Neither an adjustment of summer/winter time is made automatically by the RDS nor does the station name appear on the display

► Make the settings quickly. If you do not press a button for 15 seconds, the

entry is cancelled. All settings made up to this point are saved automatically.

♦ Press the

Adjusting stations manually

The device uses the AMS function to automatically search for stations and saves them in the 20 preset slots of the device. The device starts at the lowest frequency. Depending on reception, it is possible that not all 20 presets can be assigned.

Kitchen timer

The device has a practical kitchen timer with which you can monitor cooking and baking times, for example. You can set 2 kitchen timers.

Setting and operating the kitchen timer

♦ Turn the −TIMER+ dial left or right to set Timer 1. The display ﬂashes.

NOTE

► Timer 1 can be set in steps of 5 minutes from 5 minutes up to 3 hours

55 minutes. The time is given as "hh:mm".

► If no change is made to the setting for about 15 seconds, the device will

switch back to the previous operating mode without saving the settings.

Troubleshooting

This section contains important information about fault identiﬁcation and rectiﬁcation. Follow the instructions to avoid hazards and damage.

Fault causes and remedies

The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor malfunctions:

Fault Possible cause Remedy

The plug is not connected. Insert the power plug into the socket.

NOTE

► If the above-mentioned solutions do not resolve the problem, please contact

Customer Service (see section "Service").

The mains socket is not supplying power.

The display is switched oﬀ automatically or manually.

The volume is set to minimum.

has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by the warranty described below.

Warranty conditions

The validity period of the warranty starts from the date of purchase. Please keep your original receipt in a safe place. This document will be required as proof of purchase.

If any material or production fault occurs within three years of the date of purchase of the product, we will either repair or replace the product for you at our discretion. This warranty service is dependent on you presenting the defective appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) and a short written description of the fault and its time of occurrence.

If the defect is covered by the warranty, your product will either be repaired or replaced by us. The repair or replacement of a product does not signify the beginning of a new warranty period.

Warranty period and statutory claims for defects

The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs eﬀected under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired components. Any damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking. Repairs carried out after expiry of the warranty period shall be subject to a fee.

Scope of the warranty

This appliance has been manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

Namjenska uporaba

Ovaj uređaj predstavlja uređaj zabavne elektronike koji je namijenjen isključivo za prijem UKV radio-programa, za funkciju kuhinjskog tajmera i za alarm pomoću alarmnog zvuka ili radio-programa u zatvorenim prostorijama. Uređaj je predviđen za slobodno postavljanje ili za montažu ispod zidnih elemenata. U tu svrhu treba koristiti integriran stalak odn. montažnu ploču. opasnost po život!

Obratite pažnju na sljedeće sigurnosne napomene, kako biste izbjegli opasnost uslijed električne struje:

► Ne koristite uređaj ako su mrežni utikač ili mrežni kabel oštećeni. ► Mrežni kabel iz utičnice uvijek izvucite povlačenjem za utikač, nikada ne

povlačite sam kabel.

► Mrežni utikač ili uređaj nikada ne dirajte mokrim rukama. ► Ni u kom slučaju ne otvarajte kućište uređaja. Ako dodirnete priključke koji

su pod naponom ili promijenite električni i mehanički ustroj uređaja, postoji

opasnost od strujnog udara i požara.

► U ventilacijske otvore ili druge otvore na uređaju ne gurajte nikakve pred-

mete.

► Uređaj i u standby-pogonu troši struju. Ako uređaj želite potpuno odvojiti

od strujne mreže, morate utikač izvući iz utičnice. Stoga uređaj mora biti po-

stavljen tako da je u svakom trenutku omogućen nesmetan pristup mrežnoj

utičnici kako bi se mrežni utikač u slučaju opasnosti mogao odmah izvući.

Napomene za baterije

OPASNOST

Opasnost od ozljeda uslijed nepravilnog rukovanja baterijama!

► Baterije ne smiju dospjeti u dječje ruke. Djeca bi baterije mogla staviti u

usta i progutati. Ukoliko je došlo do gutanja baterije, odmah potražite

liječničku pomoć.

► Baterije ne bacajte u vatru. Baterije ne izlažite visokim temperaturama. ► Opasnost od eksplozije! Ponovno se smiju puniti samo baterije koje su

označene kao "punjive".

► Baterije ne otvarajte i ne izazovite kratki spoj. ► Različiti tipovi baterija ne smiju se miješati i umetati zajedno. Prazne baterije

treba izvaditi zbog rizika od curenja. Baterije iz uređaja treba izvaditi i

kada se uređaj ne koristi.

► Kiselina koja izlazi iz baterije može nadražiti kožu. U slučaju kontakta s ko-

žom, isperite velikom količinom vode. Ako tekućina dospije u oči, temeljito

isperite s puno vode, ne trljajte i odmah potražite pomoć liječnika.

► Kako baterije umetnuti i ponovno izvaditi iz uređaja saznat ćete u poglavlju

„Umetanje baterija“.

Opće sigurnosne napomene

Za sigurno rukovanje uređajem pridržavajte se sljedećih sigurnosnih napomena:

■ Ovaj uređaj smiju koristiti djeca stara 8 godina ili više, kao i osobe sa

smanjenim ﬁzičkim, senzornim ili mentalnim sposobnostima ili pomanjkanjem iskustva i/ili znanja, ukoliko su pod nadzorom ili su primile poduku o sigurnom rukovanju uređajem te su razumjele opasnosti koje proizlaze iz uporabe uređaja. Djeca se ne smiju igrati uređajem. Čišćenje i servisiranje ne smiju obavljati djeca bez odgovarajućeg nadzora.

OPASNOST! Ambalaža nije igračka! Ambalažu držite podalje od djece.

Postoji opasnost od gušenja!

■ Uređaj prije uporabe provjerite kako biste ustanovili eventualna vidljiva

vanjska oštećenja. Ne koristite oštećen uređaj ili uređaj koji je pao.

■ U slučaju oštećenja kabela ili priključaka iste treba zamijeniti ovlaštena

stručna osoba ili servis za kupce.

■ Priključni kabel zaštitite od toplih površina, i oštrih bridova. Obratite pažnju

na to da priključni kabel ne bude čvrsto zategnut i da se ne prelama. Ne dozvoljavajte da priključni kabel visi preko kutova (opasnost od spoticanja preko žice).

■ Popravke uređaja smiju obavljati isključivo autorizirana stručna poduzeća

ili servis za kupce. Nestručno izvedeni popravci mogu prouzročiti opasnosti za korisnika. Osim toga, u tom se slučaju gubi i pravo na jamstvo.

dijelovima. Samo kod takvih dijelova je zajamčeno ispunjavanje sigurnosnih zahtjeva.

■ Na uređaju nemojte obavljati samovoljne izmjene ili preinake.

■ Uređaj uvijek postavite na ravnu i stabilnu površinu. U slučaju prevrtanja se

može oštetiti.

■ Uređaj ne izlažite izravnom sunčevom zračenju ili visokim temperaturama.

U protivnom može doći do pregrijavanja, a uređaj može biti nepopravljivo oštećen.

■ Pazite na dostatnu cirkulaciju zraka kako biste izbjegli gomilanje topline.

Nikada ne prekrivajte uređaj. Postoji opasnost od požara!

■ Proizvod ne postavljajte u blizinu izvora topline kao što su radijatori ili drugi

uređaji koji proizvode toplinu.

Zahtjevi u pogledu mjesta postavljanja

Za siguran i besprijekoran rad uređaja mjesto postavljanja mora zadovoljiti sljedeće zahtjeve:

■ Prilikom postavljanja uređaj stavite na čvrstu, ravnu i vodoravnu podlogu.

Koristite preklopni stalak

■ Površine elemenata namještaja mogu sadržavati sastojke, koji napadaju

gumene nožice uređaja i iste mogu razmekšati. Ako je potrebno, podmetnite podlogu pod gumene nožice uređaja.

■ Uređaj postavite ili montirajte tako, da postojeći ventilacijski otvori ili zvučnici

ne budu prekriveni.

■ Uređaj ne pogonite u vrućem, mokrom ili vrlo vlažnom okruženju niti u

blizini zapaljivog materijala.

■ Mjesto montaže treba odabrati tako da uređaj nije izložen nastanku pare.

Uređaj ne montirajte izravno iznad mjesta na kojem se kuha.

■ Mrežna utičnica mora biti lako dostupna, tako da mrežni utikač u slučaju

opasnosti brzo može biti izvučen.

Uspostavljanje napajanja

Umetanje baterija

Umetanjem 2 x 1,5V baterije (tip AA/Mignon/LR6) izbjeći ćete, da se u slučaju mogućeg prekida opskrbe električnom energijom izgube programirano točno vrijeme, programirana memorijska mjesta i vremena alarma. Baterije omogućavaju nastavak rada internog sata i za vrijeme nestanka struje. Zaslon gasi. Kada se ponovno uspostavi napajanje, na zaslonu će se automatski prikazati ispravno točno vrijeme.

► Uređaj može raditi i bez baterija. Zaslon, radio i tajmer ne funkcioniraju

Baterije se ne smiju zbrinjavati zajedno s kućnim smećem. Neispravne ili istrošene baterije moraju se reciklirati u skladu s direktivom 2006/66/EC. Utilizarea conform destinaţiei

Acest aparat face parte din categoria aparatelor electronice de larg consum şi este destinat exclusiv recepţionării programelor radio transmise pe unde ultrascurte, utilizării ca temporizator de bucătărie, redării alarmei printr-un semnal de alarmă sau radio în spaţii închise. Aparatul este destinat amplasării ca atare sau montării sub un dulap suspendat. În acest scop trebuie utilizat piciorul suport integrat, respectiv placa de montaj. Orice altă utilizare este considerată a ﬁ neconformă. Aparatul nu este prevăzut pentru utilizarea în scopuri comerciale sau industriale. Sunt excluse pretenţiile de orice natură pentru pagubele rezultate în urma utilizării neconforme, a reparaţiilor necorespunzătoare, a modiﬁcărilor nepermise sau a utilizării de piese de schimb neautorizate. Siguranţa

Respectaţi următoarele indicaţii de siguranţă pentru a evita riscurile cauzate de curentul electric:

► Nu utilizaţi aparatul dacă ştecărul sau cablul de alimentare sunt deteriorate. ► Când scoateţi cablul de alimentare din priză, trageţi întotdeauna de ştecăr

şi nu de cablu.

► Nu puneţi niciodată mâinile ude pe ştecăr sau pe aparat. ► Nu deschideţi carcasa aparatului sub niciun pretext. Pericol de electrocutare

şi de incendiu la atingerea conexiunilor conducătoare de tensiune şi la

modiﬁcarea structurii electrice şi mecanice.

► Nu introduceţi niciun obiect în fantele de aerisire sau alte oriﬁcii ale apara-

tului.

► Aparatul consumă curent în modul Standby. Pentru a deconecta complet

aparatul de la reţeaua de curent trebuie scos ştecărul din priză. De aceea,

aparatul trebuie amplasat astfel încât să ﬁe asigurat întotdeauna accesul

fără obstacole la priză pentru a putea deconecta imediat ştecărul în situaţii

de urgenţă.

Indicaţii privind bateriile

PERICOL

Pericol de rănire cauzat de manipularea eronată a bateriilor!

► Bateriile nu trebuie să ajungă în mâinile copiilor. Aceştia pot introduce

bateriile în gură şi le pot înghiţi. Dacă s-a înghiţit o baterie, solicitaţi imediat

asistenţă medicală.

► Nu aruncaţi bateriile în foc. Nu expuneţi bateriile la temperaturi ridicate. ► Pericol de explozie! Numai bateriile marcate cu menţiunea „reîncărcabil”

pot ﬁ reîncărcate.

► Nu deschideţi sau nu scurtcircuitaţi bateriile. ► Nu introduceţi în aparat tipuri diferite de baterii. Bateriile descărcate trebu-

ie îndepărtate, dat ﬁind riscul ridicat de curgere a acestora. De asemenea,

bateriile trebuie scoase din aparat în cazul neutilizării acestuia.

► Acidul scurs dintr-o baterie poate provoca iritaţii la nivelul pielii. La contactul

cu pielea, spălaţi cu apă din abundenţă. În cazul pătrunderii lichidului în

ochi, clătiţi temeinic cu multă apă, nu frecaţi şi consultaţi imediat un medic.

► Modalitatea de introducere şi îndepărtare a bateriilor din aparat poate ﬁ

consultată în capitolul „Introducerea bateriilor”.

Indicaţii de bază privind siguranţa

Respectaţi următoarele indicaţii de siguranţă pentru o manipulare sigură a acestui aparat:

■ Acest aparat poate ﬁ utilizat de copii începând cu vârsta de 8 ani şi de

persoane cu abilităţi ﬁzice, senzoriale sau mentale reduse sau fără experienţă şi fără cunoştinţe necesare, dacă sunt supravegheaţi sau dacă au fost instruiţi cu privire la utilizarea sigură a acestui aparat şi dacă au înţeles pericolele cu privire la acesta. Copiilor le este interzis să se joace cu aparatul. Curăţarea şi acţiunile de întreţinere destinate utilizatorului nu se vor efectua de către copii fără supraveghere.

Pericol de asﬁxiere!

■ Înainte de utilizare veriﬁcaţi dacă aparatul prezintă defecţiuni exterioare

vizibile. Nu puneţi aparatul în funcţiune dacă este deteriorat sau dacă a căzut.

■ Cablurile sau conexiunile defecte trebuie înlocuite de către un specialist

autorizat sau de către serviciul clienţi.

■ Feriţi cablul de conexiune de suprafeţe ﬁerbinţi şi muchii ascuţite. Asiguraţi-vă

că cablul de conexiune nu este tensionat şi nici îndoit. Nu lăsaţi cablul de conexiune suspendat peste colţuri (pericol de împiedicare).

■ Reparaţia aparatului trebuie realizată numai într-un atelier de specialitate

autorizat sau de către serviciul clienţi. În urma reparaţiilor necorespunzătoare pot apărea pericole pentru utilizatorul aparatului. În plus, se pierde garanţia.

■ Componentele defecte trebuie înlocuite numai cu piese de schimb originale.

Numai utilizând aceste piese este garantată respectarea cerinţelor de siguranţă.

■ Nu efectuaţi transformări neautorizate sau modiﬁcări la aparat.

■ Aşezaţi întotdeauna aparatul pe o suprafaţă stabilă şi dreaptă. În cazul

căderii, acesta se poate deteriora.

■ Nu expuneţi aparatul razelor directe ale soarelui sau temperaturilor ridicate.

În caz contrar, aparatul se poate supraîncălzi şi defecta iremediabil.

■ Asiguraţi o circulaţie suﬁcientă a aerului pentru a preveni acumularea căldurii.

Nu acoperiţi niciodată aparatul. Pericol de incendiu!

■ Nu aşezaţi produsul în apropierea surselor de căldură precum radiatoare

sau alte aparate generatoare de căldură.

■ Menţineţi întotdeauna focul deschis (deexemplu lumânările) departe de

aparat.

■ Aparatul nu este conceput pentru funcţionarea în încăperi cu temperatură

sau umiditate a aerului ridicată (deexemplu în baie) ori cu depunere excesivă de praf.

■ Protejaţi aparatul împotriva apei pulverizate şi a apei care picură. Nu

introduceţi niciodată aparatul în apă, nu-l aşezaţi în apropierea apei şi nu aşezaţi pe aparat obiecte umplute cu apă (deexemplu vaze).

■ Dacă se constată miros de fum sau existenţa fumului la aparat, se va scoate

imediat ştecărul din priză şi bateriile.

■ În caz de defecţiuni şi în timpul intemperiilor scoateţi ştecărul din priză.

INDICAŢIE

► Veriﬁcaţi dacă furnitura este completă şi dacă prezintă deteriorări vizibile. ► În cazul în care furnitura este incompletă sau componentele sunt deteriorate

din cauza ambalajului precar sau a transportului, apelaţi linia telefonică directă de service (a se vedea capitolul „Service”).

Eliminarea ambalajelor

Ambalajul protejează aparatul împotriva deteriorărilor ce pot apărea în timpul transportului. Materialele de ambalare sunt alese conform compatibilităţii acestora cu mediul şi aspectelor tehnice privind eliminarea, ﬁind astfel reciclabile.

Reintroducerea ambalajelor în circuitul de materiale contribuie la economisirea materiilor prime şi la reducerea cantităţii de deşeuri. Eliminaţi materialele de ambalare de care nu mai aveţi nevoie conform prevederilor locale în vigoare.

INDICAŢIE

► Dacă este posibil, păstraţi ambalajul original pe durata perioadei de

garanţie a aparatului, pentru a-l putea ambala corespunzător în caz de utilizare a garanţiei.

Cerinţe privind locul de amplasare

Pentru funcţionarea sigură şi fără defecţiuni a aparatului, locul de amplasare trebuie să îndeplinească următoarele cerinţe:

■ La amplasarea aparatului alegeţi o suprafaţă stabilă, dreaptă şi orizontală.

Utilizaţi piciorul suport rabatabil

■ Este posibil ca suprafeţele mobilierului să conţină componente care pot ataca

şi înmuia picioruşele de plastic ale aparatului. Eventual aşezaţi aparatul pe un suport.

■ Amplasaţi sau montaţi aparatul astfel încât oriﬁciile de aerisire existente şi

difuzoarele

să nu ﬁe acoperite.

■ Nu utilizaţi aparatul în medii ﬁerbinţi sau foarte umede şi nici în apropierea

materialelor inﬂamabile.

■ Locul de montare trebuie ales astfel încât aburii ﬁerbinţi să nu poată ajunge

la aparat. Nu montaţi aparatul direct deasupra plitei.

■ Priza trebuie să ﬁe uşor accesibilă pentru ca ştecărul să poată ﬁ scos cu

uşurinţă în caz de urgenţă.

Montarea sub un dulap suspendat

Puteţi monta aparatul cu placa de montaj furnizată, deexemplu, sub un dulap suspendat. Pentru montarea aparatului procedaţi după cum urmează:

♦ Împingeţi placa de montaj în spate şi scoateţi-o din aparat. ♦ Căutaţi un loc de montaj adecvat pentru aparat (a se vedea şi capitolul

„Cerinţe privind locul de amplasare”).

♦ Ţineţi placa de montaj sub locul de montaj. Pentru aceasta, marginea frontală

a plăcii de montaj trebuie să se aﬂe cu cca 3,1 cm în spatele părţii frontale a dulapului suspendat, pentru ca după montaj aparatul să ﬁe la acelaşi nivel cu dulapul suspendat. Marginile laterale ale plăcii de montaj trebuie să aibă o distanţă de cca 6,3 cm faţă de dulapurile adiacente sau pereţi.

♦ Marcaţi cele 4 puncte de ﬁxare cu un creion. ♦ Faceţi o mică adâncitură în marcaje cu un dorn sau cui. ♦ Aşezaţi la alegere distanţierele

de montaj. În cazul utilizării distanţierelor aveţi nevoie de şuruburile lungi de prindere

♦ Înşurubaţi bine placa de montaj cu ajutorul şuruburilor de prindere (

♦ Împingeţi aparatul cu partea superioară pe placa de montaj până când se

ﬁxează cu un zgomot.

Realizarea alimentării cu curent

► Înainte de conectarea aparatului, comparaţi datele de conectare ale apa-

ratului (tensiune şi frecvenţă) de pe plăcuţa de fabricaţie cu cele ale reţelei dvs. electrice. Aceste date trebuie să ﬁe identice pentru a evita defectarea aparatului.

♦ Introduceţi ştecărul într-o priză. Aparatul începe un ciclu automat de căutare

a emiţătorului şi salvează emiţătorii care pot ﬁ recepţionaţi în max. 20 de locuri de memorare care pot ﬁ alocate. Aﬁşajul pentru scurt timp [RDS (sistem de date radio)]. În cazul unui semnal RDS bun, ora şi data se setează automat. Dacă semnalul RDS este prea slab, pe ecran manual.

Introducerea bateriilor

Prin introducerea a 2 baterii de 1,5V (tip AA/Mignon/LR6) evitaţi pierderea orei programate, a locurilor de memorare programate şi a orelor pentru alarme în cazul unei posibile pene de curent. Bateriile fac ca ceasul intern să funcţioneze şi în timpul penei de curent. Cu toate acestea, ecranul realimentării cu curent de la reţea, pe ecran apare în mod automat timpul corect.

► Aparatul poate ﬁ utilizat şi fără baterii. Ecranul, radioul şi temporizatorul nu

► Condiţiile tehnice ale aparatului permit o gamă reglabilă de frecvenţe

care depăşeşte gama admisă de unde ultrascurte (FM) 87,5–108 MHz. În diferite ţări pot exista reglementări naţionale deosebite privind gamele de frecvenţe radio atribuite. Se va avea în vedere faptul că este interzisă folosirea, transmiterea către alte persoane sau utilizarea în mod abuziv, în alt scop a informaţiilor recepţionate din afara gamei de frecvenţe radio atribuite.

Remedierea defecţiunilor

Acest capitol cuprinde indicaţii importante cu privire la localizarea şi remedierea defecţiunilor. Pentru evitarea pericolelor şi a deteriorărilor respectaţi aceste indicaţii.

Cauzele defecţiunilor şi remedierea acestora

Tabelul următor este util pentru localizarea şi remedierea defecţiunilor minore:

► În timpul curăţării asiguraţi-vă că în aparat nu pătrunde umezeală, pentru

a evita defectarea iremediabilă a aparatului.

Curăţarea carcasei

♦ Curăţaţi suprafeţele aparatului cu o lavetă moale, uscată. ♦ Pentru a îndepărta murdăria persistentă, folosiţi o lavetă umedă şi un deter-

gent delicat.

Depozitarea în cazul neutilizării

♦ Dacă nu utilizaţi aparatul un timp mai îndelungat, deconectaţi-l de la sursa

de alimentare, scoateţi bateriile şi depozitaţi-l într-un loc curat şi uscat, ferit de radiaţia solară directă.

Eliminarea

Eliminarea aparatului

Simbolul alăturat al pubelei tăiate cu roţi indică faptul că acest aparat face obiectul Directivei 2012/19/EU.

Această directivă prevede că la sfârşitul perioadei de utilizare a aparatului, acesta nu trebuie eliminat în gunoiul menajer obişnuit, ci trebuie predat punctelor de colectare speciale sau centrelor de eliminare a deşeurilor.

Eliminarea nu implică niciun cost pentru dvs. Contribuiţi la protejarea mediului înconjurător prin eliminarea corespunzătoare a deşeurilor.

Eliminarea bateriilor

Bateriile nu se elimină împreună cu resturile menajere. Bateriile defecte sau consumate trebuie reciclate conform dispoziţiilor Directivei 2006/66/EC. Fiecare consumator are obligaţia legală de a preda bateriile la un centru de colectare local sau în locurile special amenajate din magazine. Această obligaţie are scopul de a asigura eliminarea ecologică a bateriilor. Predaţi bateriile numai în stare descărcată.

Condiţii de garanţie

Perioada de garanţie începe de la data cumpărării. Păstraţi cu grijă bonul ﬁscal original. Acesta este necesar pentru a dovedi cumpărarea.

Dacă în decurs de trei ani de la data cumpărării acestui produs apare un defect de material sau de fabricaţie, produsul va ﬁ reparat sau înlocuit de către noi – la alegerea noastră – în mod gratuit. Garanţia presupune ca în timpul perioadei de trei ani să se prezinte aparatul defect şi dovada cumpărării (bonul ﬁscal), precum şi o scurtă descriere în scris, în care să se speciﬁce în ce constă defectul şi când a apărut acesta.

Dacă defectul este acoperit de garanţia noastră, veţi primi înapoi produsul reparat sau unul nou. Odată cu reparaţia sau înlocuirea produsului nu începe o nouă perioadă de garanţie.

Perioada de garanţie şi pretenţiile legale privind defectele

Perioada de garanţie nu este prelungită după efectuarea reparaţiilor realizate în perioada de garanţie. Acest lucru este valabil şi pentru piesele înlocuite şi reparate. Eventualele deteriorări şi deﬁcienţe prezente deja la cumpărare trebuie semnalate imediat după dezambalarea produsului. Reparaţiile necesare după expirarea perioadei de garanţie se efectuează contra cost.

Domeniul de aplicare a garanţiei

Aparatul a fost produs cu grijă, în conformitate cu orientările stricte privind calitatea şi veriﬁcat cu rigurozitate înaintea livrării.

Garanţia se acordă în caz de defecte de material sau de fabricaţie. Această garanţie nu se extinde asupra componentelor produsului care sunt expuse uzurii normale şi care, prin urmare, pot ﬁ considerate piese de uzură sau asupra deteriorărilor apărute la componentele fragile, de exemplu comutatoare, acumulatori, forme de copt sau componente realizate din sticlă.

Această garanţie se pierde în cazul în care produsul a fost deteriorat, a fost utilizat sau întreţinut în mod necorespunzător. Pentru utilizarea corespunzătoare a produsului trebuie respectate cu stricteţe toate indicaţiile prezentate în instrucţiunile de utilizare. Trebuie evitate în mod obligatoriu utilizările şi acţiunile nerecomandate sau care fac obiectul unor avertizări în cadrul instrucţiunilor de utilizare.

Aparatul este destinat numai uzului privat şi nu utilizărilor comerciale. În cazul manevrării abuzive sau necorespunzătoare, al uzului de forţă şi al intervenţiilor care nu au fost realizate de către ﬁliala noastră autorizată de service, garanţia îşi pierde valabilitatea.

Procedura de acordare a garanţiei

Pentru a se asigura prelucrarea rapidă a solicitării dvs., urmaţi instrucţiunile de mai jos:

■ Pentru toate solicitările păstraţi la îndemână bonul ﬁscal şi numărul articolu-

lui (de exemplu IAN 12345) ca dovadă a cumpărării.

■ Numărul articolului poate ﬁ consultat pe plăcuţa de caracteristici, pe o gravu-

ră, pe coperta instrucţiunilor (în partea stângă, jos) sau pe autocolantul de pe partea din spate sau de jos.

■ În cazul în care apar defecte funcţionale sau alte defecţiuni, contactaţi mai

întâi telefonic sau prin e-mail departamentul de service menţionat în continuare.

■ Apoi puteţi expedia produsul înregistrat ca ﬁind defect la adresa de service

care v-a fost comunicată, fără a plăti taxe poştale, anexând dovada cumpărării (bonul ﬁscal) şi indicând în ce constă defectul şi când a apărut acesta.

Gefahr durch elektrischen Strom

Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Strom! Beim Kontakt mit unter Spannung stehenden Leitungen oder

Bauteilen besteht Lebensgefahr!

Beachten Sie die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise um eine Gefährdung durch elektrischen Strom zu vermeiden:

► Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn der Netzstecker oder das Netzkabel

beschädigt sind.

► Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel immer am Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,

niemals am Kabel.

► Fassen Sie den Netzstecker oder das Gerät niemals mit nassen Händen an. ► Öﬀnen Sie auf keinen Fall das Gehäuse des Gerätes. Werden spannungs-

führende Anschlüsse berührt und der elektrische und mechanische Aufbau

verändert, besteht Stromschlag- und Brandgefahr.

► Führen Sie keine Gegenstände in die Lüftungsschlitze oder andere Öﬀnungen

des Gerätes ein.

► Das Gerät nimmt im Standby-Betrieb Strom auf. Um das Gerät vollständig

vom Netz zu trennen, muss der Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose gezogen

werden. Daher muss das Gerät so aufgestellt werden, dass stets ein unbehin-

derter Zugang zur Netzsteckdose gewährleistet ist, damit in Notsituationen

der Netzstecker sofort abgezogen werden kann.

Batteriehinweise

GEFAHR

Verletzungsgefahr durch falschen Umgang mit Batterien!

► Batterien dürfen nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen. Kinder könnten

Batterien in den Mund nehmen und verschlucken. Wurde eine Batterie

verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden.

► Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen. Batterien keinen hohen Temperaturen

aussetzen.

► Explosionsgefahr! Nur als „auﬂadbar“ gekennzeichnete Batterien dürfen

wieder aufgeladen werden.

► Batterien nicht öﬀnen oder kurzschließen. ► Unterschiedliche Batterietypen dürfen nicht gemischt eingesetzt werden.

Leere Batterien sollten wegen des erhöhten Auslaufrisikos entnommen

werden. Auch bei Nichtgebrauch des Gerätes sollten die Batterien aus

dem Gerät entnommen werden.

► Batteriesäure, die aus einer Batterie austritt, kann zu Hautreizungen führen.

Bei Hautkontakt mit viel Wasser abspülen. Wenn die Flüssigkeit in die Augen

gelangt ist, gründlich mit viel Wasser ausspülen, nicht reiben und sofort

einen Arzt aufsuchen.

► Wie Sie die Batterien in das Gerät einsetzen und wieder herausnehmen

erfahren Sie im Kapitel „Batterien einlegen“.

dem Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Defekte Bauteile dürfen nur gegen Original-Ersatzteile ausgetauscht werden.

Nur bei diesen Teilen ist gewährleistet, dass sie die Sicherheitsanforderungen erfüllen.

■ Nehmen Sie keine eigenmächtigen Umbauten oder Veränderungen an dem

Gerät vor.

■ Stellen Sie das Gerät immer auf eine stabile und gerade Fläche. Bei Stürzen

kann es beschädigt werden.

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion

GEFAHR

► Verpackungsmaterialien dürfen nicht von Kindern zum Spielen verwendet

♦ Entnehmen Sie alle Teile des Gerätes und die Bedienungsanleitung aus dem

Karton.

♦ Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial vom Gerät.

Bitte prüfen Sie den Lieferumfang (siehe Ausklappseite). Der Lieferumfang besteht aus folgenden Komponenten:

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoﬀe und verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Anforderungen an den Aufstellort

Für einen sicheren und fehlerfreien Betrieb des Gerätes muss der Aufstellort folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

■ Bei Aufstellung des Gerätes das Gerät auf eine feste, ﬂache und waage-

rechte Unterlage stellen. Verwenden Sie den ausklappbaren Stellfuß

■ Die Oberﬂächen von Möbeln enthalten möglicherweise Bestandteile, die

die Gummifüße des Gerätes angreifen und aufweichen können. Legen Sie gegebenenfalls eine Unterlage unter die Gummifüße des Gerätes.

■ Das Gerät so aufstellen oder montieren, dass vorhandene Lüftungsöﬀnungen

■ Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in einer heißen, nassen oder sehr feuchten

notfalls leicht abgezogen werden kann.

Montage unter einem Hängeschrank

Sie können das Gerät mit der mitgelieferten Montageplatte z.B. unter einem Hängeschrank montieren. Zur Montage des Gerätes gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

♦ Schieben Sie die Montageplatte nach hinten und nehmen Sie sie vom Gerät ab. ♦ Suchen Sie eine geeignete Anbaustelle für das Gerät aus (siehe auch Kapitel

♦ Halten Sie die Montageplatte unter die Anbaustelle. Dabei sollte sich die

Vorderkante der Montageplatte ca. 3,1cm hinter der Front des Hängeschrankes beﬁnden, damit das Gerät nach der Montage bündig mit dem Hängeschrank abschließt. Die Seitenkanten der Montageplatte müssen einen Abstand von ca. 6,3cm zu angrenzenden Schränken oder Wänden haben.

♦ Markieren Sie die 4 Befestigungspunkte mit einem Stift. ♦ Erzeugen Sie mit einem Dorn oder Nagel jeweils eine kleine Vertiefung an

den Markierungen.

♦ Setzen Sie wahlweise die mitgelieferten Abstandshalter

Stromversorgung herstellen

ACHTUNG

► Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die Anschlussdaten des

Gerätes (Spannung und Frequenz) auf dem Typenschild mit denen Ihres Elektronetzes. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine Schäden am Gerät auftreten.

♦ Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Das Gerät startet einen

automatischen Sendersuchlauf und speichert die empfangbaren Sender auf den max. 20 belegbaren Speicherplätzen ab. Es blinkt für kurze Zeit die Anzeige Signal, werden die Uhrzeit und das Datum automatisch eingestellt. Ist das RDS-Signal zu schwach, erscheint im Display die Uhrzeit und das Datum müssen manuell eingestellt werden.

Die Batterien bewirken, dass die interne Uhr auch während des Stromausfalls weiterläuft. Das Display allerdings. Grundeinstellungen festlegen

Voraussetzung: Das Gerät beﬁndet sich in der Betriebsart Uhr/Standby-Betrieb.

HINWEIS

► Bei einem entsprechend guten RDS-Signal (Radiodatensystem), werden die

Uhrzeit und das Datum automatisch eingestellt. Eine automatische Anpassung an die Sommer-/Winterzeit erfolgt nicht durch das RDS, sowie eine Anzeige des Sendernamens nicht im Display erscheint.

► Führen Sie die Einstellungen zügig durch. Die Eingabe wird nach ca.

15Sekunden ohne Tastendruck abgebrochen. Bis dahin durchgeführte Einstellungen werden automatisch gespeichert.

Beachten Sie, dass Sie die außerhalb des zugewiesenen Rundfunkfrequenzbereiches empfangenen Informationen nicht verwerten, an Dritte weiterleiten oder zweckentfremdet missbräuchlich verwenden dürfen.

Automatischer Sendersuchlauf (AMS-Funktion)

Mit der AMS-Funktion sucht das Gerät automatisch nach Sendern und speichert diese auf den 20 Speicherplätzen des Gerätes ab. Das Gerät beginnt mit der niedrigsten Frequenz. Je nach Empfang, kann es sein, dass nicht alle 20 Speicherplätze belegt werden.

Küchentimer

Das Gerät verfügt über einen praktischen Küchentimer, mit dem z.B. Koch- und Backzeiten überwacht werden können. Es können 2 Küchentimer eingestellt werden.

einzustellen. Die Anzeige blinkt.

Garantiebedingungen

Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z.B. Schalter, Akkus, Backformen oder Teile die aus Glas gefertigt sind.
