DIGITAL GLASS SCALE
Safety instructions
Danger!
Ensure that liquids cannot permeate into the glass
scale or into the display. There is a risk of electric shock!
This appliance is not intended for use by individuals
(including children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deficiences in
experience and/or knowledge unless they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety
or receive from this person instruction in how the
appliance is to be used. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Warning!
Do not place the glass scale in close vicinity to sources
of heat. The scale and the display may only be
operated at temperatures between 10° and 40°C.
Higher or lower temperatures can lead to malfunctions
or to permanent damage.
Never burden these scale with a weight of more
than 180 kg / 396 lb!
This could irreparably damage the scale.
• Never open batteries, never solder or weld batteries.
The risk of explosions and injuries exists!
• Regularly check the condition of the batteries.
Leaking batteries can cause damage to the
appliance.
• Remove the battery if you do not intend to use
the appliance over an extended period.
• In the event of the batteries leaking acids, wear
protective gloves. Clean the battery compartment and the battery contacts with a dry cloth.
• Keep batteries away from children. Children can
put batteries into their mouths and swallow them.
If a battery is swallowed, medical assistance must
be sought IMMEDIATELY.
Notice:
Avoid electrostatic charging and discharging.
These can cause erroneous displays and/or the
sudden deactivation of the scale.
For damage caused by...
• opening of the scale housing,
• repairs attempted by non-qualified personnel and
• improper usage of the scale
... no liability/warranty will be accepted by the
manufacturer! .

Intended Use
This digital glass scale is intended exclusively for use
• as a personal weighing scale
• in a domestic environment.
Taking the scale into use
1. Open the battery compartment rby sliding the
cover in the direction of the arrow and then
removing it. Remove the insulating tape from the
battery compartment
per its polarity into the battery compartment
2. Slide the cover back on to the battery com-
partment runtil it firmly engages.
3. Set the desired unit of weight (kg or lb) by
pressing the selector switch w.
• Place the scale on a flat and firm surface.
Ensure that neither the floor at the location of the
scale nor the upper surface of the scale are wet,
otherwise there is a risk of slipping!
Notice:
This glass scale contains sensitive electronic components
and it should therefore NOT be located:
• close to sources of heat
• in environments with extreme air humidity.

Operating instructions
Before using the appliance for the first time, check
to ensure that the items are complete and undamaged.
Remove all packaging materials and any
protectives films that may be on the appliance.
Weighing
Important!
NEVER burden the scale one-sidedly. ALWAYS step
onto the scale in the middle and with both feet.
Otherwise, the scale could tip and become irreparably
damaged. Additionally, there is the risk of falling over!
Important!
Never use the scale if it is wet or moist. Never step
onto the scale with wet or moist feet. There would
be a serious risk of slipping and personal injury!

Important!
NEVER jump onto the glass scale, this could irreparably
damage it.
1. Tap with your foot in the middle of the glass scales
until the indicator "8888" appears in the display
2. As soon as the indicator changes and "0.0" appears
in the display q, step onto the glass scale with
both feet. Stand as still as possible and without
displacing your weight.
3. During the weighing process, the indicated
weight increases until your personal weight is
shown.
4. When your personal weight has been determined,
the result blinks twice in the display

Replacing the batteries
1. Open the battery compartment rby sliding the
cover in the direction of the arrow and then
removing it.

2. Remove the old battery from the battery
compartment
3. Insert a new battery of the type CR 2032 into
the battery compartment r. Pay heed to the
correct polarity. This is marked in the battery
compartment
4. Slide the cover back on to the battery compartment runtil it firmly engages.

Usage and safe-keeping
Warning indicators
Should your weight exceed the maximum weighing
capacity of 180 kg/ 396 lb, "0 - Ld" is shown in
the display
from the scale, otherwise it could be damaged.
When "L0" appears in the display qyou must
replace the batteries.
Should the display qindicate "Err", the scale is not
able to measure your weight. In this case, step down
from the scale, wait a few seconds and then try again.
Take note that you need to both stand still and not
interrupt the weighing procedure.

• Take note that the weighing results from different
glass scales can vary slightly from each other.
• Avoid unnecessary battery discharge.
Accordingly, do not place objects on the glass
scale when it is not being used.
Remove the battery if you do not intend to use
the scale for an extended period.
• Keep the glass scale at a clean and dry location.
• Avoid electrostatic charging.
• Your glass scale is a sensitive electronic appliance.
As such, it can occasionally be disturbed by other
high-frequency devices that are being operated
in the immediate vicinity (e.g. mobile telephones,
CB radio stations, radio remote controls and
microwave ovens).
Should irregular or inaccurate details be indicated in
the display
the source of the disturbance or switch the source
of the disturbance off whilst you are using the
appliance.

Disposal
Clean your glass scale exclusively with a neutral
detergent and a soft cloth.
Non-functionality
Warning of potential appliance

Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance or to carry
out repairs yourself. You could potentially damage
the sensitive electronic components.
Repairs to your appliance may only be carried out
by qualified service personnel!
No liability will be accepted for damage resulting
from improper use and/or the opening of the
appliance!
In the event of faulty operation or if the display is
incorrect, please check the following conditions:
• Has the battery been inserted into the battery
compartment
• Is the selector switch

Do not dispose of the appliance in your

Battery disposal!
Batteries may not be disposed of with normal
domestic waste. All consumers are statutorily obliged to dispose of batteries at the collection point in
their community/district or with the original supplier.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries can be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly manner. Only dispose of batteries when
they are fully discharged.
Dispose of all packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Perform a reset on the scale:
• For this, remove the old battery from the battery
compartment
• Wait a few seconds, then insert the battery back
into the battery compartment
If these measures do not correct the problem, please
contact the appropriate service partner for your country.

Warranty and Service
The warranty for this appliance is for 3 years from
the date of purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of
purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please
make contact by telephone with our Service Department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for
your goods be assured.
The warranty covers only claims for material and
maufacturing defects, but not for transport damage,
for wearing parts or for damage to fragile components, e.g. buttons or batteries. This product is for
private use only and is not intended for commercial
use. The warranty is void in the case of abusive and
improper handling, use of force and internal tampering not carried out by our authorized service
branch. Your statutory rights are not restricted in any
way by this warranty.
The warranty period will not be extended by repairs
made under warranty. This applies also to replaced
and repaired parts. Any damage and defects extant
on purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking the appliance, at the latest, two days after
the purchase date. Repairs made after the expiration of the warranty period are subject to payment.

Opasnost!
Obratite pažnju na to, da ne dospije tekućina u staklenu
vagu i u display. Postoji opasnost od strujnog udara!
Ovaj uređaj nije namijenjen da bude korišten od
strane osoba (uključujući djecu) sa ograničenim fizičkim,
senzoričnim i mentalnim osobinama i nedostatkom
iskustva ili znanja, osim ako ove osobe stoje pod
nadzorom druge osobe zadužene za njihovu sigurnost,
ili ako su od nje primili upute za ispravno korištenje
uređaja. Djeca bi trebala biti pod nadzorom, čime
treba biti osigurano da se ne mogu igrati ovim
uređajem.
Upozorenje!
Staklenu vagu ne postavljajte u neposrednoj blizini
izvora toplote. Staklena vaga i display smiju biti
korišteni isključivo na temperaturama između 10° i 40°.

Napomena za rukovanje sa
baterijama
Uređaj radi pomoću jedne baterije. U vezi rukovanja
sa baterijom molimo obratite pažnju na slijedeće:
Opasnost od eksplozije!
Baterije ne bacajte u vatru. Ne vršite ponovno
punjenje baterija.
• Nikada ne otvarajte baterije, ne vršite lemljenje
ili zavarivanje baterija. Postoji opasnost od
eksplozije i od ozljeđivanja!
• U redovnim vremenskim razmacima kontrolirajte
baterije. Baterije, koje cure, mogu uzrokovati
oštećenje uređaja.
• Ukoliko uređaj duže vrijeme ne koristite, izvadite
baterije.
• U slučaju iscurjelih baterija navucite zaštitne
rukavice. Pretinac za baterije i baterijske kontakte očistite pomoću suhe krpe.
• Baterije ne smiju dospjeti u dječje ruke. Djeca bi
baterije mogla staviti u usta i progutati.
Ukoliko je došlo do gutanja baterije, neizostavno
morate zatražiti liječničku pomoć.
Napomena!
Izbjegavajte elektrostatično punjenje i pražnjenje.
U protivnom može doći do pogrešnog prikazivanja,
odnosno do naglog isključivanja staklene vage.

Puštanje u rad
1. Otvorite pretinac za baterije rtako, što ćete
poklopac gurnuti u smjeru strelice i skinuti.
Odstranite izolacijsku traku iz pretinca za baterije
tetom ponovo u pretinac za bateriju
2. Gurnite poklopac pretinca za baterije na
pretinac r, dok ne ulegne.
3. Podesite željenu mjernu jedinicu (kg ili lb)
aktiviranjem odabirnog prekidača w.
• Postavite staklenu vagu na ravnu i čvrstu podlogu.
Obratite pažnju na to, da ni pod na mjestu
postavljanja, kao niti površina staklene vage ne
budu vlažni, jer u protivnom postoji opasnost
od klizanja!
Staklena vaga sadrži osjetljive elektronske ugradbene
dijelove i stoga ne smije biti postavljena:
• u blizini izvora topline
• u okruženjima sa ekstremnom vlažnosti zraka.

Upute za posluživanje
Prije puštanja u pogon prekontrolirajte obim isporuke
na kompletnost i eventualno vidljiva oštećenja.
Odstranite sav materijal pakiranja i eventualno
prisutne zaštitne folije sa uređaja.
Vaganje
Oprez:
Nikada ne opteretite staklenu vagu jednostrano.
Uvijek stupite na sredinu staklene vage sa oba stopala.
U protivnom se staklena vaga može prevrnuti i pretrpjeti
nepopravljiva oštećenja. Osim toga postoji opasnost
od padanja!
Oprez:
Staklenu vagu nikada ne koristite, kada je mokra ili
vlažna. Nikada ne stupite na staklenu vagu sa mokrim
ili vlažnim stopalima. Postoji opasnost od klizanja
i opasnost od padanja!

Oprez:
Nikada ne skočite na staklenu vagu, jer bi ona
u protivnom mogla biti oštećena.

Obnavljanje baterija
1. Otvorite pretinac za baterije rtako, što ćete
poklopac gurnuti u smjeru strelice i skinuti.
2. Izvadite staru bateriju iz pretinca za baterije r.
2. Čim se prikaz promijeni, te se dojava „0.0“ na
displayu
staklenu vagu. Pritom stojte što mirnije i bez
premiještanja tjelesne težine.
3. Za vrijeme postupka vaganja prikazana vrijednost
raste, sve dok Vaša tjelesna težina ne bude
prikazana.
4. Kada je određena težina, rezultat dva puta trepti
na displayu

Upozoravajuće dojave
Ako težina maksimalni kapacitet vaganja od 180
kg / 396 lb prekoračuje, će dojava „0 - Ld“ na displayu
mah sići sa staklene vage, jer ona u protivnom može
biti oštećena.
Ako se na displayu

Uporaba i čuvanje

Iz tog razloga ne ostavljajte predmete na staklenoj
vagi, kada je ne upotrebljavate.
Uklonite bateriju, ako staklenu vagu duže vrijeme
ne koristite.
• Staklenu vagu čuvajte na suhom i čistom mjestu.
• Izbjegavajte elektrostatični naboj.
• Vaša staklena vaga predstavlja osjetljivi
elektronski instrument. Kao takav ona može
povremeno biti ometana od strane uređaja sa
visokom frekvencijom, koji su u pogonu u neposrednoj blizini vage. (na primjer mobilni telefoni,
radio-stanice, daljinski upravljači ili mikrovalne
pećnice).
Ukoliko dođe do smetnji poput neredovitih ili pogrešnih
