Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung.

1. Gerätebeschreibung

1.1 Verwendungszweck

Der Cerangrill SilverCrest SCG 1200 A1 ist zum Grillen und Garen von Speisen geeignet.

Verwenden Sie den Cerangrill ausschließlich innerhalb Ihres Haushaltes und niemals im Freien. Das Gerät darf nicht zum Auftauen, Erwärmen oder Trocknen von Gegenständen benutzt werden. Dieses Gerät ist für den Einsatz in Privathaushalten und nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz geeignet. Das Gerät ist ebenfalls geeignet für:

• den Einsatz in Küchen für Mitarbeiter in Läden, Büros und anderen gewerblichen Bereichen,

Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.

1.3 Funktionsbeschreibung

Die Grillplatte 3 wird erhitzt und dient zum Grillen und Garen von Speisen. Überschüssiges Fett läuft dabei ab und wird in der Auffangschale 4 hinter der Grillplatte gesammelt.

Wenn die eingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist, wird automatisch die Heizung abgeschaltet. Sinkt die Temperatur unter diesen Wert, wird die Heizung automatisch erneut eingeschaltet, bis die gewünschte Temperatur wieder erreicht ist.

4. Sicherheitshinweise

4.1 Begriffserklärung

Folgende Signalbegriffe finden Sie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung:

Warnung!

4.2 Besondere Hinweise für dieses Gerät

Warnung! Beachten Sie folgende Hinweise, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.

•Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt,

durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mit mangelnder Erfahrung und/oder mangelndem Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist. Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicher-

zustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

•Die Oberflächen des Gerätes können heiß werden. Fassen Sie daher das Gerät ausschließlich an den Griffen

•Das Gerät darf nicht mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem, wie zum Beispiel einer Funksteckdose, betrieben werden.

•Holzkohle oder ähnliche Brennstoffe dürfen für dieses Gerät nicht verwendet werden.

4.3 Allgemeine Hinweise

• Lesen Sie vor dem Gebrauch bitte sorg-

fältig diese Bedienungsanleitung. Sie ist Bestandteil des Gerätes und muss jederzeit verfügbar sein.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für den beschriebenen Verwendungszweck (siehe „1.1 Verwendungszweck“ auf Seite 3).

• Überprüfen Sie, ob die erforderliche Netzspannung (siehe Typenschild am Gerät) mit Ihrer Netzspannung übereinstimmt, um eine Beschädigung zu verhindern.

• Beachten Sie, dass jeglicher Anspruch auf Garantie und Haftung erlischt, wenn Zubehörteile verwendet werden, die nicht in dieser Bedienungsanleitung empfohlen werden oder wenn bei Reparaturen nicht ausschließlich Originalersatzteile verwendet werden. Dies gilt auch für Reparaturen, die durch nichtqualifizierte Personen durchgeführt werden. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „Service-Center” auf Seite 12.

• Bei eventuellen Funktionsstörungen während der Garantiezeit darf die Instandsetzung des Gerätes nur durch unser Service-Center erfolgen. Ansonsten erlischt jeglicher Garantieanspruch. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „ServiceCenter” auf Seite 12.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebes niemals unbeaufsichtigt, um rechtzeitig einschreiten zu können, falls Funktionsstörungen auftreten.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nie zur Stolperfalle wird oder sich jemand darin verfangen oder darauftreten kann und sich dabei verletzt.

• Das Gerät darf ausschließlich auf einem festen, ebenen, trockenen und nicht brennbaren Untergrund aufgestellt werden, um zu verhindern, dass es umkippt, verrutscht oder die Unterlage Feuer fängt und dadurch Schaden entsteht.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine feuerfeste Unterlage, um Schäden zu vermeiden, falls heißes Fett überschwappt.

• Halten Sie einen Abstand von mindestens 50 cm zu anderen Gegenständen ein, damit diese kein Feuer fangen können.

• Das Gerät darf nicht auf heiße Herdplatten gestellt, in den heißen Backofen geschoben oder in der Nähe von Gasund Durchlauferhitzern aufgestellt werden, da dies zu Beschädigungen führen könnte.

• Es kann nicht ausgeschlossen werden, dass Pflegemittel für Ablageflächen (Möbel) Bestandteile enthalten, die die Gummifüße angreifen und aufweichen. Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall an das Service-Center. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „Service-Center” auf Seite 12.

• Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf das Gerät.

4.4 Schutz vor elektrischem Schlag

Warnung! Die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise sollen Sie vor einem elektrischen Schlag schützen.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eine Netzsteckdose mit Schutzkontakten (Schuko) an.

• Wenn das Gerät beschädigt ist, darf das Gerät keinesfalls benutzt werden. Lassen Sie das Gerät in diesem Falle von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „Service-Center” auf Seite 12.

• Wenn die Netzanschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie durch den Hersteller oder eine ähnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

• In das Gerät dürfen keinesfalls Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten eindringen. Daher: – niemals im Freien einsetzen – niemals in Flüssigkeit tauchen

– keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegen-

stände, z.B. Töpfe, darauf stellen

– niemals in sehr feuchter Umgebung

einsetzen.

Falls doch einmal Flüssigkeit in das Gerät gelangt, ziehen Sie sofort den Netzstecker und lassen das Gerät von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal reparieren. Die Kontaktdaten finden Sie in „ServiceCenter” auf Seite 12.

• Die Benutzung von Verlängerungskabeln sollten Sie vermeiden. Sie ist nur unter ganz bestimmten Voraussetzungen gestattet: – das Verlängerungskabel muss für die

Stromstärke des Gerätes geeignet sein

– das Verlängerungskabel darf nicht

„fliegend“ verlegt sein: es darf nicht zur Stolperfalle werden oder von Kindern erreichbar sein

– das Verlängerungskabel darf keines-

falls beschädigt sein

– es dürfen keine weiteren Geräte als

dieses Gerät an der Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden, da es sonst zu einer Überlastung des Stromnetzes kommen kann (Verbot von Mehrfachsteckdosen!).

• Fassen Sie das Gerät, die Netzanschlussleitung oder den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen an.

• Ziehen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung stets am Stecker heraus. Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel selber.

• Tragen Sie das Gerät nie an der Netzanschlussleitung.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzanschlussleitung nie geknickt oder gequetscht wird.

• Halten Sie die Netzanschlussleitung von heißen Flächen (z.B. Herdplatte) fern.

• Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 immer auf „OFF“ bevor Sie den Netz-

stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, damit das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist und kein hoher Strom fließt.

• Wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen, ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Nur dann ist das Gerät völlig stromfrei.

• Bei einem Gewitter kann das am Stromnetz angeschlossene Gerät durch Blitzschlag beschädigt werden.

4.5 Schutz vor Verbrühungen und

Verbrennungen

Warnung! Heiße Oberflächen und heißes Fett können zu Verletzungen führen. Beachten Sie daher:

• Stellen Sie das Gerät während der Benutzung nicht um und berühren Sie das Gehäuse und die Grillplatte 3 nicht. Diese sind während der Benutzung sehr heiß. So vermeiden Sie Verbrennungen.

• Verwenden Sie Küchenhandschuhe, wenn Sie Speisen mit hoher Temperatur garen. Fettspritzer können sonst zu Verbrennungen führen.

• Mariniertes Fleisch sollten Sie vor dem Grillen abtupfen, da die Marinade zu Fettspritzern führen könnte.

•Die Auffangschale 4 sollte nie zu mehr als der Hälfte gefüllt sein. Sollten Sie während des Grillens die Auffangschale 4 leeren müssen, ziehen Sie sie sehr vorsichtig heraus.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät stets abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen oder erneut benutzen.

• Sollte sich das Fett auf dem Gerät entzünden, löschen Sie es auf keinen Fall mit Wasser! Es besteht die Gefahr einer explosionsartigen Verpuffung oder eines elektrischen Schlages. Decken Sie stattdessen das Gerät ab,

z.B. mit einer Löschdecke oder einem großen Topfdeckel.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nie in der Nähe von Gardinen und anderen brennbaren Materialien. Sollte sich das Grillgut entzünden, könnten so die Flammen leicht auf andere Gegenstände überspringen.

4.6 Zur Sicherheit Ihres Kindes

Warnung! Kinder können Gefahren oft nicht richtig einschätzen und sich dadurch Verletzungen zuziehen. Beachten Sie daher:

5. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

Bei der Produktion bekommen viele Teile einen dünnen Ölfilm zu ihrem Schutz. Betreiben Sie das Gerät vor dem ersten Gebrauch ohne Grillgut, damit eventuell vorhandene Rückstände verdampfen können. Hinweis: Bei den ersten Aufheizvorgängen kann es zu einer leichten Geruchsentwicklung kommen. Sorgen Sie deshalb für eine ausreichende Belüftung.

1. Nehmen Sie das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile aus der Verpackung.

2. Entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial.

3. Überprüfen Sie, dass das Gerät keine Beschädigungen aufweist.

4. Reinigen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Benutzung. Beachten Sie hierzu die Hinweise in dem Kapitel „6. Reinigen” auf Seite 9.

5. Wählen Sie einen Standort, der fest, eben und unbrennbar ist. Halten Sie dabei einen Abstand von ca. 50 cm zu anderen Gegenständen ein.

• Dieses Produkt darf nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen verwendet werden.

• Achten Sie sorgfältig darauf, dass sich das Gerät immer außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern befindet.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder niemals das Gerät an der Netzanschlussleitung herunterziehen können.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass die Verpackungsfolie nicht zur tödlichen Falle für Kinder wird. Verpackungsfolien sind kein Spielzeug.

6. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 auf „OFF“.

Damit ist das Gerät ausgeschaltet.

7. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine geeignete Steckdose (siehe „3. Technische Daten“ auf Seite 4).

8. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 auf die Stufe „5“.

Jetzt leuchtet die Betriebsanzeige 5 und das Gerät heizt auf.

9. Lassen Sie das Gerät eingeschaltet, bis die Betriebsanzeige 5 erlischt.

10.Lassen Sie das Gerät danach noch etwa 5 Minuten lang eingeschaltet.

11.Schalten Sie das Gerät wieder aus, indem Sie den Temperaturregler 6 auf „OFF“ drehen.

12.Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.

13.Wischen Sie die Grillplatte 3 noch einmal mit einem feuchten Tuch ab.

14.Wischen Sie mit einem trockenen Tuch nach.

Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

6. Reinigen

Warnung! Um die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages zu vermeiden: – Ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung

den Netzstecker.

– Das Gerät darf keinesfalls unter

fließendem Wasser gereinigt werden.

1. Entnehmen Sie vorsichtig die Auffangschale 4 und entsorgen Sie das aufgefangene Fett.

Hinweis: Haushaltsübliche Mengen dürfen über den normalen Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Schütten Sie das Fett nicht in den Ausguss, dort könnte es hart werden und zu Verstopfungen führen.

2. Reinigen Sie die Auffangschale 4 von Hand im Spülwasser.

3. Reinigen Sie die Grillplatte 3 mit einem feuchten Tuch. Bei gröberen Verschmut-

4. Reinigen Sie das Edelstahlgehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch. Bei fettigen Verschmutzungen können Sie auch etwas mildes Spülmittel verwenden.

Hinweis: bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen sollten Sie einen speziellen Reiniger für Edelstahloberflächen verwenden.

5. Verwenden Sie das Gerät erst wieder, wenn es vollständig trocken ist.

6. Legen Sie weder die Netzanschlussleitung noch sonstige Gegenstände auf die Grillplatte 3.

3. Schieben Sie die Auffangschale 4 in den dafür vorgesehenen Einschub auf der Rückseite des Gerätes.

Hinweis: Halten Sie die Auffangschale zunächst etwas schräg und schieben Sie sie etwas unter die Grillplatte. Danach drücken Sie die Auffangschale leicht nach unten, bis sie einrastet.

4. Ölen Sie die Grillplatte 3 leicht ein.

Hinweis: Da die Grillplatte sehr heiß werden kann, sollten Sie ein Öl mit hohem Rauchpunkt, z.B. Sonnenblumenöl verwenden.

5. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine geeignete Steckdose (siehe „3. Technische Daten“ auf Seite 4). Das Gerät ist nun betriebsbereit.

7. 2 G ar e n

Vorsicht!

• Lassen Sie während des Grillens kein Grillbesteck auf der Glasplatte liegen. Dies könnte zu Beschädigungen führen.

• Verwenden Sie keine säurehaltigen oder zuckerhaltigen Gewürzmischungen (Mischungen, die Essig oder Zucker enthalten), da Säure und Zucker die Grillplatte 3 beschädigen könnten. Sollte dies doch passiert sein, entfernen Sie Rückstände sofort mit einem Ceranfeld-Schaber, bevor die Rückstände abgekühlt sind.

• Sie können mit metallischem Grillbesteck arbeiten.

• Verwenden Sie keinesfalls Grillbesteck oder Messer aus Kunststoff. Diese könnten schmelzen und die Grillplatte 3 beschädigen.

1. Drehen Sie jetzt den Temperaturregler 6 auf die gewünschte Temperaturstufe:

– „LO“ bis „2“: Niedrige Temperaturen

für das Warmhalten des Grillgutes.

– „3“ bis „5“: Mittlere Temperaturen für

das Garen von Fischfilet, Gemüse und anderem Grillgut.

– „6“ bis „HI“: Höchste Temperatur für

Fleischscheiben, Geflügel oder starkes Anbraten.

Die Betriebsanzeige 5 leuchtet und die Grillplatte 3 wird erwärmt.

Wenn die richtige Temperatur erreicht ist, erlischt die Betriebsanzeige 5.

Fällt die Temperatur der Grillplatte 3 unter den gewählten Wert, schaltet sich die Heizung erneut ein.

Warnung! Verbrennungsgefahr: – Die Grillplatte 3 wird sehr heiß –

nicht berühren!

– Mariniertes oder feuchtes Fleisch

sollten Sie vor dem Grillen abtupfen, da die Flüssigkeit zu Fettspritzern führen könnte.

Vorsicht!

• Lassen Sie während des Grillens kein Grillbesteck auf der Glasplatte liegen. Dies könnte zu Beschädigungen führen.

• Verwenden Sie keine säurehaltigen Gewürzmischungen (Mischungen, die Essig enthalten), da Säure die Grillplatte 3 beschädigen könnte.

2. Legen Sie das Grillgut auf die Grillplatte 3. Das Grillgut darf nicht über die weiße Linie der Grillplatte 3 hinausragen.

3. Wenden Sie nach einiger Zeit das Grillgut.

Hinweis: Gegebenenfalls können Sie zwischendurch Speisereste mit einem Ceranfeld-Schaber entfernen.

4. Ist das Grillgut gar, nehmen Sie es von der Grillplatte 3.

5. Drehen Sie den Temperaturregler 6 auf „OFF“, wenn Sie den Grillvorgang beendet haben, um das Gerät auszuschalten.

6. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker.

7. Reinigen Sie das Gerät (siehe Abschnitt

6. auf Seite 9).

8.1 Gerät

Tritt innerhalb von drei Jahren ab dem Kaufdatum dieses Produkts ein Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler auf, wird das Produkt von uns – nach unserer Wahl – für Sie kostenlos repariert oder ersetzt. Diese Garantieleistung setzt voraus, dass innerhalb der Dreijahresfrist das defekte Gerät und der

Das Gerät wurde nach strengen Qualitätsrichtlinien sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung gewissenhaft geprüft. Die Garantieleistung gilt für Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler. Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Produktteile, die normaler Abnutzung ausgesetzt sind und daher als Verschleißteile angesehen werden können oder für Beschädigungen an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z. B. Schaltern, Akkus oder Teilen, die aus Glas gefertigt sind. Diese Garantie verfällt, wenn das Produkt beschädigt, nicht sachgemäß benutzt oder gewartet wurde. 1. Description de l’appareil

1.1 Destination

Le gril vitro-céramique SilverCrest SCG 1200 A1 est destiné à faire griller et à faire cuire des aliments. Utilisez le gril vitro-céramique exclusivement en intérieur et jamais à l’air libre. L’appareil n’est pas destiné à la décongélation, ni au chauffage ou au séchage d’objets. Cet appareil est destiné aux ménages privés et non à un usage professionnel. L'appareil est également conçu pour être utilisé :

1.3 Description du fonctionnement

La plaque du gril 3 est chauffée et sert à faire cuire et à faire griller des aliments. Les matières grasses excédentaires s’écoulent dans un bac récupérateur situé derrière la plaque du gril 4 .

Une fois la température réglée atteinte, le dispositif de chauffe est immédiatement mis à l’arrêt. Dès lors que la température chute en-deçà de la valeur réglée, il est automatiquement remis en marche jusqu’à ce que la température souhaitée soit à nouveau atteinte.

4.2 Consignes spéciales pour cet appareil

Avertissement ! Respectez les consignes suivantes pour éviter toute blessure.

•Cet appareil ne peut être utilisé par

des personnes (y compris les enfants) aux capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales limitées ou manquant d’expérience et/ou de connaissances en la matière si ce n’est sous la surveillance d’une personne responsable de leur sécurité ou leur ayant transmis des instructions sur la manière d’utiliser l’appareil. Les

enfants doivent faire l’objet d’une surveillance de sorte à s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.

• N’utilisez le gril de table qu’aux fins décrites précédemment (voir « 1.1 Destination » à la page 14).

• Afin d’éviter tout endommagement, assurez-vous que la tension secteur nécessaire (voir plaque signalétique sur l’appareil) concorde avec la tension secteur de l’installation.

• Veuillez prendre note que toute prétention à des droits de garantie et reconnaissance de notre responsabilité seront sans effet si des accessoires, autres que ceux recommandés dans cette présente notice d’utilisation, sont utilisés ou si des pièces de rechange non d’origine sont employées lors de réparations. Il en sera de même pour toute réparation effectuée par un personnel non qualifié. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 24.

• Seul notre centre de service après-vente est habilité à remettre en état l'appareil durant la période de garantie dans le cas de dysfonctionnements éventuels. Dans le cas contraire, il ne pourra être prétendu à aucun droit de garantie. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 24.

• Ne laissez jamais l’appareil sans surveillance lorsque celui-ci est en marche, afin de pouvoir intervenir à temps si des dysfonctionnements apparaissent.

• Veillez à ce que le câble secteur ne puisse provoquer de chute et à ce que personne ne puisse marcher dessus et se blesser.

• L’appareil est à installer exclusivement sur un support solide, plan, sec et non inflammable de sorte qu’il ne bascule ou ne glisse ou que le support ne prenne feu, occasionnant ainsi des dommages.

• Placez l'appareil sur une surface réfractaire afin d'éviter tout dégât si jamais de la graisse chaude venait à déborder.

• Observez une distance de minimum 50 cm aux autres objets de sorte que ceux-ci ne puissent prendre feu.

• L’appareil ne doit en aucun cas être posé sur des plaques de cuisson chaudes, dans des fours à haute température ou à proximité d’un réchauffeur gaz ou liquide, cela pouvant induire des dommages.

• Il ne peut être exclu que certains agents d’entretien des plans de travail contiennent des constituants qui attaquent et ramollissent les pieds en caoutchouc. Veuillez dans ce cas vous adresser au centre de service aprèsvente. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 24.

• Ne posez aucun objet sur l’appareil.

4.4 Protection contre le risque

d’électrocution

Avertissement ! Les consignes de sécurité à suivre sont destinées à vous protéger de toute électrocution.

• Ne branchez l'appareil qu’à une prise de courant de sécurité installée en toute conformité.

• Si l’appareil est endommagé, ne l’utiliser en aucun cas. Faites dans ce cas réparer l’appareil par une main d’oeuvre qualifiée. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 24.

• Si le câble secteur de l’appareil est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par un câble neuf auprès du fabricant ou

d’une autre personne compétente afin d’éviter le moindre risque.

• Ne faites jamais pénétrer de l’eau ou tout autre liquide dans l’appareil. C’est pourquoi : – ne jamais utiliser l’appareil en

extérieur ; – ne jamais le plonger dans un liquide ; – ne jamais poser dessus de récipient,

par ex. une marmite, rempli de

liquide ; – ne jamais utiliser l’appareil dans un

environnement très humide. Si du liquide venait à pénétrer à

l’intérieur de l’appareil, débranchez immédiatement la prise mâle secteur et faites réparer l’appareil par un personnel qualifié. Vous trouverez les données de contact dans « Service après-vente » à la page 24.

• Evitez l’utilisation de rallonges, autorisée dans certaines conditions uniquement : – la rallonge doit convenir à l’ampérage

de l'appareil ;

– la rallonge ne doit pas être posée

«volante » : elle ne doit ni pouvoir provoquer de chute, ni pouvoir être atteinte par des enfants ;

– la rallonge ne doit en aucun cas être

endommagée ;

– aucun autre appareil que le gril de

table ne doit être raccordé à la prise femelle secteur, une surcharge du secteur pouvant sinon survenir (multiprises interdites !).

• Ne saisissez jamais l’appareil, le câble secteur ou la prise mâle secteur, les mains humides.

• Débranchez toujours le câble secteur en tirant sur la prise mâle. Ne tirez jamais sur le câble lui-même.

• Ne portez jamais l’appareil par le câble secteur.

• Veillez à ne jamais couder ou écraser le câble secteur.

• Maintenez le câble secteur éloigné des surfaces à haute température (comme d’une table de cuisson par ex.).

• Positionnez toujours le régulateur de température 6 sur « OFF » avant de débrancher la prise mâle secteur de la prise femelle de sorte que l’appareil soit à l’arrêt et qu’aucun courant élevé ne circule.

• Si vous n’utilisez pas votre gril de table, retirez la prise mâle de la prise femelle. Ce n’est qu’alors que l’appareil sera totalement hors tension.

• En cas d’orage, l’appareil raccordé au secteur peut être endommagé par la foudre.

4.5 Protection contre les échaudures et

les brûlures

Avertissement ! Surfaces chaudes et matières grasses à haute température peuvent entraîner des blessures. Prenez note par conséquent

• Ne déplacez pas l’appareil durant l’utilisation et ne touchez pas le boîtier, ni la plaque du gril 3. Ces derniers sont très chauds durant l’utilisation. Vous éviterez ainsi de vous brûler.

• Employez des gants de cuisine pour faire cuire des aliments à haute température. Les éclaboussures de matières grasses peuvent sinon occasionner des brûlures.

• Vous devez essuyer la viande marinée avant de la faire cuire, car la marinade risque de causer des projections de graisse.

• Le bac récupérateur 4 ne doit jamais être rempli à plus de la moitié. Si vous souhaitez vider le bac récupérateur 4

durant la cuisson, procédez avec prudence.

• Laissez toujours refroidir l’appareil avant de le nettoyer ou de vous en resservir.

• Si les matières grasses s’enflamment sur l’appareil, n’utilisez en aucun cas

de l’eau pour éteindre les flammes ! Une détonation explosive

ou un choc électrique pourrait s’ensuivre. Au lieu de cela, recouvrez l’appareil, par ex. avec une couverture d’extinction ou un gros couvercle de marmite.

• N’utilisez jamais l’appareil à proximité de rideaux et d’autres matières inflammables. Si la pièce à griller s’enflamme, les flammes pourraient ainsi aisément se propager à d’autres objets.

5. Avant la première utilisation

Lors de la production, de nombreuses pièces sont enduites d’une fine couche d’huile en vue de leur protection. Avant premier emploi, utilisez l’appareil sans pièce à griller de sorte que les résidus éventuels puissent s’évaporer. Remarque : Une légère odeur peut se dégager lors des premières montées en température. Veillez par conséquent à une aération suffisante.

1. Retirez l’appareil et tous les accessoires de leur emballage.

2. Retirez le matériau d’emballage.

3. Vérifiez que l’appareil n’est pas endommagé.

4. Nettoyez l’appareil avant première utilisation. Observez pour ce faire les instructions du chapitre « 6. Nettoyage » à la page 20.

4.6 Pour la sécurité de votre enfant

Avertissement ! Les enfants ne sont fréquemment pas à même d’évaluer correctement les dangers, risquant ainsi de se blesser. Prenez note par conséquent :

• Ce produit ne doit être utilisé que sous la surveillance d’adultes.

• Veillez attentivement à ce que l’appareil se trouve toujours hors de la portée des enfants.

• Veillez à ce que des enfants ne puissent jamais faire basculer l’appareil en tirant sur le câble.

• Veillez à ce que le film d’emballage ne devienne pas un piège mortel pour des enfants. Les films d’emballage ne sont pas des jouets.

5. Choisissez un support solide, plan et non inflammable. Observez une distance de 50 cm environ aux autres objets.

6. Positionnez le régulateur de température 6 sur « OFF ».

L’appareil est ainsi à l’arrêt.

7. Branchez la prise mâle secteur dans une prise femelle adaptée (voir « 3. Caractéristiques techniques » à la page 15).

8. Positionnez le régulateur de température 6 sur « 5 ».

Le voyant de fonctionnement 5 s’allume et l’appareil chauffe.

9. Laissez l’appareil en marche jusqu’à ce que le voyant de fonctionnement 5 s’éteigne.

10.Ensuite, laissez l’appareil encore allumé pendant environ 5 minutes.

11.Mettez l’appareil à nouveau à l’arrêt en positionnant le régulateur de température 6 sur «OFF».

6. Nettoyage

Avertissement! Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique: – Débranchez l’appareil de la

prise secteur avant de le nettoyer.

– Ne nettoyez en aucun cas

l’appareil sous l’eau courante.

1. Retirez prudemment le bac récupérateur 4 et éliminez les matières grasses récupérées.

Remarque : Les quantités domestiques d’usage peuvent être éliminées par le biais des ordures ménagères normales. Ne jetez pas les matières grasses dans l’évier où elles pourraient durcir et boucher les conduits.

2. Nettoyez le bac récupérateur 4 à la main dans de l’eau de vaisselle.

3. Nettoyez la plaque du gril 3 à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. Pour enlever les salissures plus importantes, vous pouvez également employer un peu de liquide vaisselle doux.

Remarque : en cas de salissures tenaces, nous vous recommandons d’utiliser un nettoyant spécial pour plaques vitro-céramiques. En cas de salissures carbonisées, vous pouvez également utiliser un racleur pour plaques vitro-céramiques.

12.Débranchez la fiche secteur et laissez l’appareil refroidir.

13.Nettoyez à nouveau la plaque du gril 3 avec un chiffon humide.

14.Essuyez ensuite avec un chiffon sec.

L’appareil est à présent opérationnel.

4. Nettoyez le boitier en acier inoxydable à l’aide d’un chiffon humide. Pour enlever les salissures de graisse, vous pouvez également employer un peu de liquide vaisselle doux.

Remarque : en cas de salissures tenaces, nous vous recommandons d’utiliser un nettoyant spécial pour surfaces en acier inoxydable.

5. Ne réutilisez l’appareil qu’une fois qu’il est complètement sec.

6. Ne déposez ni le cordon de raccordement, ni tout autre objet sur la plaque du gril 3.

7. Utilisation

7.1 Préparer l’appareil

1. Choisissez un support solide, plan et non inflammable. Observez une distance de 50cm environ aux autres objets.

2. Positionnez le régulateur de température 6 sur «OFF».

L’appareil est ainsi à l’arrêt.

3. Insérez le bac récupérateur 4 dans la glissière prévue à cet effet sur la face arrière de l’appareil.

Remarque : Inclinez tout d’abord légèrement le bac récupérateur et poussez-le un peu sous la plaque du gril. Appuyez ensuite le bac récupérateur légèrement vers le bas pour qu’il s’enclenche.

4. Mettez un peu d’huile sur la plaque du gril 3.

Remarque : Comme la plaque du gril peut devenir très chaude, vous devez utiliser une huile à point de fumée élevé, p.ex. de l’huile de tournesol.

5. Enfichez la fiche de secteur dans une prise appropriée (voir « 3. Caractéristiques techniques » à la page 15). L’appareil est à présent opérationnel.

• Vous pouvez utiliser des ustensiles de barbecue en métal.

• N’utilisez en aucun cas des ustensiles de barbecue ou des couteaux en plastique. Ceux-ci risquent de fondre et d’endommager la plaque du gril 3.

1. Positionnez à présent le régulateur de température 6 sur la température souhaitée:

– «LO» à «2»: basses températures

pour garder les aliments au chaud.

– «3» à «5» : températures moyennes

pour la cuisson de filets de poisson, de légumes et quelques autres pièces à griller.

– «6» à «HI» : température maximale

pour les tranches de viande, la volaille ou une cuisson très importante.

Une fois la température réglée atteinte, le voyant de fonctionnement 5 s’éteint.

Si la température de la plaque du gril 3 chute en deçà de la valeur sélectionnée, le dispositif de chauffe se remet en marche.

• Durant la cuisson, ne posez pas d’ustensiles de barbecue sur la plaque en verre. Ceci pourrait endommager la plaque.

• N’utilisez pas d’assaisonnements acides ou sucrés (des mélanges qui contiennent du vinaigre ou du sucre), car l’acide et le sucre risquent d’endommager la pla-

8.1 Appareil

Le symbole représentant la poubelle à roulettes barrée signifie que ce produit doit être éliminé, au sein de l’Union européenne, dans un point de

3. Retournez au bout d’un moment les pièces à griller.

Remarque : le cas échéant, vous pouvez enlever des résidus d’aliments à l’aide d’un racleur pour plaques vitrocéramiques.

4. Si les pièces à griller sont cuites, retirezles de la plaque du gril 3.

5. Une fois la cuisson terminée, positionnez le régulateur de température 6 sur «OFF» pour mettre l’appareil à l’arrêt.

6. Débranchez la prise mâle secteur.

Durée de la garantie et dommages-intérêts légaux

La durée de garantie n'est pas prolongée du fait de son application. Il en va de même pour les pièces réparées. Les défauts et dommages existants précédemment à l'achat doivent être signalés immédiatement au déballage du produit. Les réparations effectuées en dehors de la durée de garantie sont payantes.

Etendue de la garantie

La production de ce produit a suivi des normes de qualité strictes et le produit a été soigneusement contrôlé avant livraison. La garantie s'applique pour les défauts de matériel ou de fabrication. Cette garantie ne s'applique pas aux pièces soumises à une usure normale et considérées comme telles ou aux dommages causés à des pièces fragiles comme les interrupteurs, les accumulateurs ou les éléments en verre. Cette garantie s'annule en cas de détérioration du produit, d'utilisation ou d'entretien inappropriés. Afin de s'assurer d'un usage approprié du produit, il convient de respecter toutes les consignes mentionnées dans la notice d'utilisation. 1. Descrizione dell’apparecchio

1.1 Impiego previsto

Il grill in Ceran SilverCrest SCG 1200 A1è stato realizzato per la cottura e grigliatura di alimenti.

Il grill in Ceran deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente all'interno dell'ambiente domestico e mai all'aperto. L’apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato per scongelare, riscaldare o asciugare oggetti. Questo apparecchio è destinato all’uso in abitazioni private e non può essere utilizzato per applicazioni commerciali. L'apparecchio è anche adatto per:

• l'utilizzo in cucine per dipendenti in negozi, uffici e altri luoghi di lavoro,

Una volta raggiunta la temperatura impostata, il riscaldamento viene automaticamente disattivato. Qualora la temperatura scenda sotto tale valore, il riscaldamento viene di nuovo automaticamente attivato, fino a raggiungere nuovamente la temperatura desiderata.

4.2 Indicazioni speciali per questo apparecchio

Avvertenza! Osservare le seguenti indicazioni, per evitare di provocare lesioni.

•Il presente apparecchio non è

destinato all’uso da parte di persone (inclusi i bambini) che presentino limitazioni delle proprie capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali né con scarsa esperienza e/o scarse nozioni in merito, tranne nel caso in cui siano sorvegliate da una persona che si fa carico della loro sicurezza o abbiano ricevuto da questa istruzioni su come utilizzare l’apparecchio. I bambini devono essere sorvegliati per accertarsi che non giochino con l’apparecchio.

•Le superfici dell’apparecchio pos-

sono diventare roventi. Afferrare quindi l’apparecchio esclusivamente in corrispondenza delle maniglie

4.3 Indicazioni generali

• Prima dell’utilizzo leggere

accuratamente le presenti istruzioni per l’uso. Sono parte integrante dell’apparecchio e devono essere disponibili in qualsiasi momento.

• Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo per

l’impiego previsto (vedi "1.1 Impiego previsto" a pagina 25).

• Per evitare di danneggiare

l’apparecchio, verificare che la tensione di rete disponibile corrisponda alla tensione di rete necessaria (vedere targhetta sull’apparecchio).

• Si ricorda che qualsiasi diritto di

garanzia decade automaticamente qualora si utilizzino accessori non consigliati nelle presenti istruzioni per l’uso oppure qualora vengano effettuate riparazioni con pezzi di ricambio non originali. Ciò vale anche in caso di riparazione ad opera di personale non qualificato. I contatti sono al paragrafo "Centro d’assistenza" a pagina 35.

• In caso di eventuali anomalie di

funzionamento entro il periodo della garanzia, la riparazione dell’apparecchio può essere eseguita

soltanto dal nostro centro d’assistenza. In caso contrario decade qualsiasi diritto di garanzia. I contatti sono al paragrafo "Centro d’assistenza" a pagina 35.

• Durante il funzionamento non lasciare mai l’apparecchio incustodito, in modo tale da poter intervenire tempestivamente in caso di anomalie di funzionamento.

• Assicurarsi che non sussista mai il pericolo di ferirsi inciampando nel cavo di rete oppure impigliandovisi o calpestandolo.

• L’apparecchio deve essere posizionato esclusivamente su una base stabile, piana, asciutta e non infiammabile per evitarne il rovesciamento o lo scivolamento ed impedire che la base prenda fuoco provocando danni.

• Posizionare l'apparecchio su una base termoresistente per evitare danni in caso di fuoriuscita di grasso bollente.

• Tenere una distanza di almeno 50 cm da altri oggetti per evitare che questi prendano fuoco.

• Non posizionare l’apparecchio su piastre di cottura calde, nel forno caldo o in prossimità di resistenze riscaldanti che potrebbero causare danni.

• Non è escluso che i detergenti per piani d’appoggio contengano componenti che possono intaccare e danneggiare i piedini in gomma. In tal caso rivolgersi al centro d’assistenza. I contatti sono al paragrafo "Centro d’assistenza" a pagina 35.

• Non appoggiare oggetti sull'apparecchio.

4.4 Protezione dalle folgorazioni

Avvertenza! Le seguenti istruzioni di sicurezza servono per proteggere l’utente da folgorazioni elettriche.

• Collegare l’apparecchio esclusivamente ad una presa con contatto a terra installata conformemente alle norme.

• Mai utilizzare l’apparecchio se danneggiato. In tal caso la riparazione dell’apparecchio deve essere eseguita da personale specializzato. Per i dati di contatto si rimanda al "Centro d’assistenza" a pagina 35.

• Se il cavo di rete di questo apparecchio è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito dal produttore o da una persona ugualmente qualificata, per evitare pericoli.

• Evitare che acqua o altri liquidi penetrino nell’apparecchio. Quindi: – non utilizzare all’aperto – non immergere in liquidi – non appoggiare sull’apparecchio

oggetti contenenti liquidi, ad es. pentole

– non utilizzare in ambiente molto

umido.

In caso di contatto dell’apparecchio con liquidi, rimuovere immediatamente la spina di rete e far riparare il dispositivo da personale qualificato. I contatti sono al paragrafo "Centro d’assistenza" a pagina 35.

• L’utilizzo di cavi di prolunga dovrebbe essere evitato. È consentito solo in presenza di presupposti ben determinati: – il cavo di prolunga deve essere adatto

all’intensità di corrente dell’apparecchio

di rete nessun altro apparecchio oltre a questo, in quanto altrimenti può verificarsi un sovraccarico della rete elettrica (prese multiple vietate!).

• Non toccare mai l’apparecchio, il cavo di rete o la spina di rete con mani umide.

• Estrarre sempre il cavo di rete in corrispondenza della spina. Non estrarlo mai afferrando il cavo stesso.

• Non spostare l’apparecchio tirandolo per il cavo di rete.

• Fare attenzione a non piegare o schiacciare mai il cavo di rete.

• Tenere il cavo di rete lontano da superfici calde (ad es. piastre di cottura).

• Prima di estrarre la spina di rete dalla presa, ruotare sempre il termostato 6 su “OFF” per disattivare l’apparecchio ed escludere il flusso di alta corrente.

• Se l’unità non viene utilizzata per lungo tempo, estrarre la spina dalla presa. Soltanto in questo modo l’apparecchio è completamente privo di alimentazione.

• In caso di temporali, gli apparecchi collegati alla rete di alimentazione possono venire danneggiati dai fulmini.

4.5 Protezione da scottature e ustioni

Avvertenza! Superfici roventi e grasso bollente possono provocare lesioni. Per questo motivo osservare quanto segue:

• Durante il funzionamento non spostare l’apparecchio né toccarne il rivestimento né la piastra grill 3. Durante il

funzionamento queste parti raggiungono temperature estremamente elevate. Come evitare ustioni.

• Per preparazioni di cibi che richiedeono temperature elevate, utilizzare il guanto da cucina. Eventuali schizzi di grasso potrebbero altrimenti provocare ustioni.

• Fare sgocciolare la carne marinata prima della cottura sul grill, altrimenti la marinatura potrebbe provocare schizzi di grasso.

• Non riempire mai la vaschetta di raccolta 4 oltre la metà. Qualora si renda necessario svuotare la vaschetta di raccolta 4 durante la grigliatura, estrarla con la massima cautela.

• Lasciare sempre raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di pulirlo o utilizzarlo nuovamente.

• Qualora il grasso sull’apparecchio prenda fuoco, non utilizzare in

alcun caso l'acqua per spegnerlo! Sussiste il pericolo di

combustione esplosiva o di folgorazione elettrica. Coprire invece l’apparecchio ad es. con una coperta antincendio o un grande coperchio.

• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio in prossimità di tende e altri materiali infiammabili. Qualora il cibo da grigliare prenda fuoco, le fiamme potrebbero facilmente trasmettersi ad altri oggetti.

4.6 Per la sicurezza dei bambini

Avvertenza! Spesso i bambini non sono in grado di valutare bene i pericoli e possono così provocarsi lesioni. Per questo motivo osservare quanto segue:

• Questo prodotto può essere utilizzato solo con la sorveglianza di adulti.

• Assicurarsi con attenzione che l’apparecchio si trovi sempre al di fuori della portata dei bambini.

• Assicurarsi che i bambini non possano far cadere l’apparecchio tirando il cavo.

5. Prima del primo utilizzo

In fase di produzione numerosi componenti vengono protetti con una sottile pellicola oleosa. Prima del primo utilizzo far funzionare l’apparecchio senza alimenti, in modo tale da far evaporare eventuali residui di tale pellicola. Indicazione: Durante le prime fasi di riscaldamento l’apparecchio può emettere un leggero odore. Provvedere pertanto ad una sufficiente aerazione.

1. Estrarre l’apparecchio e tutti gli accessori dall’imballaggio.

2. Verificare che l’apparecchio non presenti danni.

3. Rimuovere il materiale di imballaggio.

4. Prima del primo utilizzo pulire l’apparecchio. A tale riguardo osservare le indicazioni riportate nel capitolo (vedi "6. Pulizia" a pagina 31).

5. Scegliere un punto d’installazione stabile, piano e ignifugo. Tenere una distanza di ca. 50 cm da altri oggetti.

6. Ruotare il termostato 6 su “OFF”. Con il termostato in questa posizione,

l'apparecchio è spento.

7. Inserire la spina di rete in una presa adeguata (vedi "3. Dati tecnici" a pagina 26).

8. Ruotare il termostato 6 su “5”. La spia di funzionamento 5 lampeggia

ed inizia il processo di riscaldamento dell’apparecchio.

• Fare attenzione che la pellicola da imballaggio non costituisca pericolo di morte per i bambini. Le pellicole da imballaggio non sono giocattoli.

9. Lasciare l’apparecchio acceso fino a quando la spia di funzionamento 5 si spegne.

10.Lasciare l'apparecchio acceso per altri 5 minuti circa.

11.Spegnere nuovamente l’apparecchio ruotando il termostato 6 su "OFF".

12.Estrarre la spina di rete e lasciare raffreddare l’apparecchio.

13.Pulire nuovamente la piastra grill 3 con un panno umido.

14.Successivamente, ripassare con un panno asciutto.

L’apparecchio è ora pronto per l’uso.

6. Pulizia

Avvertenza! Per evitare il pericolo di folgorazioni: – estrarre la spina dalla presa

prima di ogni operazione di pulizia.

– L’apparecchio non deve essere

in nessun caso pulito sotto l’acqua corrente.

1. Rimuovere la vaschetta di raccolta 4 e smaltire il grasso raccolto.

Indicazione: quantità di grasso normali per l’uso domestico possono essere smaltite con i normali rifiuti domestici. Se gettato nello scarico, il grasso potrebbe indurirsi e causare ostruzioni.

2. Lavare a mano la vaschetta di raccolta

3. Pulire la piastra grill 3 con un panno umido. Per rimuovere lo sporco grossolano è possibile utilizzare un poco di detergente non aggressivo.

7. Funzionamento

Indicazione: per rimuovere lo sporco ostinato si consiglia di utilizzare un detergente specifico per piani di cottura in Ceran. Per rimuovere i resti bruciacchiati degli alimenti è possibile utilizzare uno speciale raschietto per piani di cottura in Ceran.

4. Pulire l’alloggiamento in acciaio inossidabile con un panno umido. Per rimuovere lo sporco grasso è possibile utilizzare un poco di detergente non aggressivo.

Indicazione: per rimuovere lo sporco ostinato si consiglia di utilizzare un detergente specifico per superfici di acciaio inossidabile.

5. Utilizzare nuovamente l'apparecchio solo quando è completamente asciutto.

6. Non appoggiare il cavo di collegamento alla rete né altri oggetti sulla piastra grill 3.

7.1 Preparazione dell’apparecchio

1. Scegliere una superficie stabile, piana e ignifuga. Tenere una distanza di ca. 50 cm da altri oggetti.

2. Ruotare il termostato 6 su "OFF". Con il termostato in questa posizione,

l'apparecchio è spento.

Indicazione: tenere dapprima la

vaschetta di raccolta leggermente inclinata e spingerla un poco sotto la piastra grill. Quindi spingere piano la vaschetta di raccolta fino a farla scattare in sede.

4. Oliare leggermente la piastra grill 3. Indicazione: poiché la piastra grill

può diventare rovente, si consiglia di utilizzare un olio con un punto di fumo molto alto, ad es. olio di semi di girasole.

5. Inserire la spina di rete in una presa idonea (vedi "3. Dati tecnici" a pagina 26). L’apparecchio è ora pronto per l’uso.

7.2 Cottura a vapore

Attenzione!

• Durante la cottura alla griglia non lasciare posate per grill sulla piastra in vetro poiché potrebbero provocare danni.

• Non utilizzare mix di spezie contenenti acidi o zuccheri (ovvero mix contenenti aceto o zucchero), poiché acido e zucchero potrebbero danneggiare la piastra grill 3. In caso contrario rimuovere immediatamente i residui con un raschietto per piani di cottura in Ceran, prima che si raffreddino.

• È possibile utilizzare posate per grill in metallo.

• Non utilizzare in nessun caso posate per grill o coltelli in plastica. Questi potrebbero fondere e danneggiare la piastra grill 3.

1. Ruotare ora il termostato 6 sul livello di temperatura desiderato:

– da “LO” a “2”. Temperature basse per

tenere in caldo gli alimenti grigliati.

– Da “3” a “5”. Temperature medie per

la cottura di filetti di carne, verdura e altri alimenti da grigliare.

– Da “6” a “HI”. Temperatura massima

per fettine di carne, pollame o per cotture più potenti.

La spia di funzionamento 5 lampeggia e la piastra grill 3 si riscalda.

Una volta raggiunta la temperatura impostata, la spia di funzionamento 5 si spegne.

Qualora la temperatura della piastra grill 3 scenda al di sotto del valore selezionato, il dispositivo di riscaldamento viene riattivato.

Attenzione! Pericolo di ustioni: – La piastra grill 3 diventa rovente

– non toccare!

– Fare sgocciolare la carne

marinata o bagnata prima della cottura sul grill, altrimenti il liquido potrebbe provocare schizzi di grasso.

Attenzione!

• Durante la cottura alla griglia non lasciare posate per grill sulla piastra in vetro poiché potrebbero causare danni.

• Non utilizzare mix di spezie contenenti acidi (ovvero mix contenenti aceto), poiché l'acido potrebbe danneggiare la piastra grill 3.

2. Posizionare gli alimenti da grigliare sulla piastra 3. Gli alimenti da grigliare non devono oltrepassare la linea bianca della piastra grill 3.

3. Dopo un pò girare gli alimenti da grigliare.

Indicazione: eventualmente è possibile rimuovere i resti di alimenti durante la cottura utilizzando il raschietto per piani di cottura in Ceran.

4. Quando gli alimenti saranno pronti, toglierli dalla piastra grill 3.

5. Una volta terminata la grigliatura, per spegnere l’apparecchio ruotare il termostato 6 su "OFF",

L’apparecchio è stato prodotto rispettando i più severi standard di qualità ed è stato scrupolosamente testato prima della spedizione. La garanzia copre i difetti di materiale o di fabbricazione. Non si estende alle parti del prodotto soggette a normale usura e considerate pertanto parti usurabili, né ai danni ai componenti più fragili, ad es. interruttori, batterie o parti in vetro. La garanzia decade se il prodotto viene danneggiato, utilizzato o sottoposto a manutenzione in modo non conforme. U heeft voor een hoogwaardig product gekozen. De gebruiksaanwijzing is bestanddeel van dit product. Deze bevat belangrijke aanwijzingen voor de veiligheid, het gebruik en de verwijdering.

1. Beschrijving van het apparaat

1.1 Beoogd gebruik

De ceran grill SilverCrest SCG 1200 A1 is bedoeld voor het grillen en garen van voedsel.

Gebruik de ceran grill uitsluitend binnenshuis en nooit buiten. Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt voor het ontdooien, opwarmen of drogen van voorwerpen. Dit apparaat is bestemd voor particulier gebruik en niet voor commercieel gebruik geschikt. Het apparaat is bovendien geschikt voor:

• de toepassing in keukens voor medewerkers in winkels, kantoren en andere commerciële instellingen,

Maak u, voor het eerste gebruik van het product , vertrouwd met alle bedienings- en veiligheidsaanwijzingen. Gebruik het product alleen op de beschreven wijze en voor de aangegeven toepassingsgebieden. Overhandig ook alle documenten wanneer u dit product aan derden doorgeeft.

1.3 Functiebeschrijving

De grillplaat 3 wordt opgewarmd en dient voor het grillen en toebereiden van spijzen. Overtollig vet loopt daarbij weg en wordt in de opvangbak 4 onder de grillplaat verzameld.

Als de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt, wordt de verwarming automatisch uitgeschakeld. Als de temperatuur daalt onder deze waarde, wordt de verwarming automatisch opnieuw ingeschakeld tot de gewenste temperatuur weer is bereikt.

4.1 Verklaring van begrippen

4.2 Speciale aanwijzingen voor het apparaat

Waarschuwing! Neem de volgende aanwijzingen in acht om letsel te voorkomen.

•Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor

gebruik door personen (kinderen inbegrepen) met beperkte fysieke, sensorische of geestelijke vermogens of met gebrekkige ervaring en/of gebrekkige kennis, tenzij een persoon die voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijk is hierbij toezicht houdt of instructies geeft hoe het apparaat moet worden gebruikt. Er moet toezicht op kinderen worden gehouden om te garanderen dat zij niet met het toestel spelen.

•De oppervlakken van het apparaat

kunnen heet worden. Pak het toestel daarom uitsluitend aan de grepen

vast.

•Wanneer de grillplaat

scheuren of andere beschadigingen toont, mag het apparaat in geen geval verder worden gebruikt. Er kan anders vet of andere vloeistof in het inwendige van het apparaat komen en een elektrische schok veroorzaken.

Voorzicht ig! Let op de volgende voorschriften om materiaalschade te voorkomen.

•Het apparaat mag niet met een externe tijdschakelklok of een aparte afstandsbedieningssyteem zoals bij v. een radiocontactdoos worden gebruikt.

•Houtskool of soortgelijke brandstoffen mogen in dit apparaat niet worden gebruikt.

4.3 Algemene aanwijzingen

• Lees voor gebruik deze

gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door. Deze behoort bij het apparaat en moet te allen tijde beschikbaar zijn.

• Gebruik het apparaat uitsluitend voor de

beschreven toepassing (zie "1.1 Beoogd gebruik" op pagina 36).

• Controleer of de vereiste netspanning

(zie typeplaatje op apparaat) overeenstemt met uw netspanning om beschadigingen te voorkomen.

• Let erop dat elke aanspraak op garantie

en elke aansprakelijkheid komt te vervallen als er toebehoren worden gebruikt die niet in deze gebruiksaanwijzing worden aanbevolen of als bij reparaties niet uitsluitend originele reserveonderdelen worden gebruikt. Dit geldt ook voor reparaties die door niet-gekwalificeerde personen worden uitgevoerd. De contactgegevens vindt u in "Servicecenter" op pagina 45.

• Bij eventuele storingen binnen de

garantieperiode mag de reparatie van het apparaat alleen door ons servicecenter plaatsvinden. Anders vervalt de garantie. De contactgegevens vindt u in "Service-center" op pagina 45.

• Laat het apparaat tijdens het gebruik nooit zonder toezicht om tijdig te kunnen ingrijpen als zich functiestoringen voordoen.

• Let erop dat niemand over het netsnoer kan struikelen of dat iemand daarin kan blijven hangen of erop kan trappen en zich daarbij kan verwonden.

• Het apparaat mag uitsluitend op een vaste, egale, droge en niet brandbare ondergrond worden geplaatst om te voorkomen dat het kantelt, wegglijdt of de steun in brand vliegt en daardoor schade ontstaat.

• Plaats het apparaat op een vuurvaste onderlaag om schade te voorkomen voor het geval er vet overloopt.

• Houd een afstand van minstens 50 cm tot andere voorwerpen aan zodat deze niet in brand kunnen raken.

• Het apparaat mag niet op hete kachels worden gezet, in de hete oven worden geschoven of in de buurt van (gas)geisers worden opgesteld, omdat dit tot beschadigingen kan leiden.

• Het kan niet worden uitgesloten dat onderhoudsmiddelen voor opbergoppervlakken bestanddelen bevatten die de rubberen voetjes aantasten en week maken. Wend u in dat geval tot het service-center. De contactgegevens vindt u in in "Service-center" op pagina 45.

• Zet geen voorwerpen op het apparaat.

4.4 Bescherming tegen elektrische

schokken

Waarschuwing! De volgende veiligheidsinstructies zijn bestemd om u tegen een elektrische schok te beschermen.

• Sluit het toestel alleen aan een volgens de voorschriften geïnstalleerd geaard stopcontact aan.

• Als het apparaat is beschadigd, mag het in geen geval meer worden gebruikt. Laat het apparaat in dat geval door gekwalificeerd personeel repareren. De contactgegevens vindt u in „Servicecenter” op pagina 45.

• Als het netsnoer van dit apparaat wordt beschadigd, moet het door de fabrikant of een ander gekwalificeerd persoon worden vervangen om gevaar te voorkomen.

• Er mag in geen geval water of andere vloeistoffen in het apparaat binnendringen. Let daarom op het volgende: – gebruik het apparaat nooit in de open

lucht – nooit in vloeistof dompelen – zet er geen met vloeistof gevulde

voorwerpen zoals potten op – gebruik het apparaat nooit in een

zeer vochtige omgeving. Als er niettemin vloeistof in het apparaat

komt, trek dan onmiddellijk de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat door gekwalificeerd vakpersoneel repareren. De contactgegevens vindt u in "Service-center" op pagina 45.

• Het gebruik van verlengsnoeren dient u te vermijden. Dat is alleen onder heel speciale omstandigheden toegestaan: – het verlengsnoer moet voor de

stroomsterkte van het apparaat geschikt zijn

– het verlengsnoer mag niet

„verplaatsbaar“ aangebracht zijn: er mag niet over worden gestruikeld of voor kinderen bereikbaar zijn

– het verlengsnoer mag in geen geval

beschadigd zijn

– er mogen geen andere apparaten

dan dit apparaat aan het stopcontact worden aangesloten, omdat anders het elektriciteitsnet kan worden

overbelast (verbod op aftakcontactdozen!).

• Pak het apparaat, het netsnoer of de netstekker nooit met vochtige handen aan.

• Trek de stekker altijd aan de stekker zelf uit het stopcontact. Trek nooit aan het snoer zelf.

• Draag het apparaat nooit aan het netsnoer.

• Let erop dat het netsnoer niet geknikt of geplet wordt.

• Houd het netsnoer weg van hete oppervlakken (bijv. kookplaat).

• Draai de temperatuurregelaar 6 altijd op „OFF“ voordat u de netstekker uit het stopcontact trekt zodat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld en er geen hoge stroom op staat.

• Wanneer u het apparaat niet gebruikt, trek dan de stekker uit het stopcontact. Alleen dan is het apparaat volledig stroomvrij.

• Bij onweer kan het aan het elektriciteitsnet aangesloten apparaat door blikseminslag worden beschadigd.

4.5 Bescherming tegen verbrandingen

Waarschuwing! Hete oppervlakken en kokend vet kunnen tot verwondingen leiden. Let daarom op het volgende:

• Verstel het apparaat tijdens het gebruik niet en raak de behuizing en de grillplaat 3 niet aan. Deze zijn tijdens het gebruik zeer heet. Zo voorkomt u verbrandingen.

• Gebruik ovenwanten als u spijzen op een hoge temperatuur bereidt. Vetspatten kunnen anders tot verbrandingen leiden.

• Dep gemarineerd vlees voor het grillen af omdat de marinade vetspatten kan veroorzaken.

• De opvangbak 4 mag nooit voor meer dan de helft gevuld zijn. Als u tijdens het grillen de opvangbak moet 4 legen, trek deze er dan voorzichtig uit.

• Laat het apparaat steeds afkoelen voordat u het reinigt of opnieuw gebruikt.

• Als het vet op het apparaat in brand vliegt, blus dat dan in geen geval met water! Er bestaat het gevaar van een explosieachtige knal of een elektrische schok. Dek in plaats daarvan het apparaat af, bijv. met een blusdoek of een grote pandeksel.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van gordijnen en andere brandbare materialen. Als de te grillen spijzen in brand vliegen, kunnen zo de vlammen gemakkelijk op andere voorwerpen overspringen.

4.6 Over de veiligheid van uw kind

Waarschuwing! Kinderen kunnen gevaren vaak niet juist inschatten en zich daardoor verwonden. Let daarom op het volgende:

• Dit product mag alleen onder toezicht van volwassenen worden gebruikt.

• Let er zorgvuldig op dat het apparaat zich altijd buiten reikwijdte van kinderen bevindt.

• Let erop dat kinderen nooit het apparaat aan het snoer naar beneden kunnen trekken.

• Let erop dat de verpakkingsfolie niet tot een dodelijke val voor kinderen wordt. Verpakkingsfolie is geen speelgoed.

5. Voor het eerste gebruik

Bij de productie krijgen veel onderdelen een dunne oliefilm als bescherming. Gebruik het apparaat voor het eerste gebruik zonder spijzen, zodat eventueel voorhanden resten kunnen verdampen. Aanwijzing: Bij de eerste paar keer opwarmen kan er lichte geurontwikkeling ontstaan. Zorg daarom voor voldoende ventilatie.

1. Haal het apparaat en alle toebehoren uit de verpakking.

2. Controleer of het apparaat geen beschadigingen heeft.

3. Verwijder het verpakkingsmateriaal.

4. Reinig het apparaat voor het eerste gebruik. Lees hiertoe de aanwijzingen in hoofdstuk "6. Reinigen" op pagina 41.

5. Kies een standplaats die stevig, vlak en onbrandbaar is. Houd een aftstand aan van ca. 50 cm tot andere voorwerpen.

6. Draai de temperatuurregelaar 6 op „OFF“.

Daarmee is het apparaat uitgeschakeld.

6. Reinigen

7. Steek de netadapter in een geschikt stopcontact (zie "3. Technische gegevens" op pagina 37).

8. Draai de temperatuurregelaar 6 op trede „5“.

Nu brandt de werkingsindicatie 5 en het apparaat wordt opgewarmd.

9. Laat het apparaat ingeschakeld tot de werkingsindicator 5 uitgaat.

10.Laat het apparaat daarna nog ongeveer 10–5 minuten ingeschakeld.

11. Schakel het apparaat weer uit door de temperatuurregelaar 6 op „OFF“ te draaien.

12.Trek de netstekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat afkoelen.

13.Veeg de grillplaat 3 nog een keer met een vochtige doek af.

14.Veeg met een schone doek na.

Het apparaat is nu gereed voor gebruik.

Waarschuwing! Om gevaar van een elektrische schok te voorkomen: – trek voor elke reiniging de

stekker uit het stopcontact.

– Het apparaat mag in geen geval

onder stromend water worden gereinigd.

1. Haal voorzichtig de opvangbak 4 eruit en gooi het opgevangen vet weg.

Opmerking: Normale hoeveelheden

mogen met het gewone huisvuil worden weggegooid. Giet het vet niet in de afvoer; het kan daar stollen en tot verstoppingen leiden.

2. Reinig de opvangbak 4 met de hand in afwaswater.

Opmerking: bij hardnekkige verontreinigingen moet een een speciaal reinigingsmiddel voor ceranvelden gebruiken. Bij vast aangebrande resten kunt u ook een speciale schraper voor ceranvelden gebruiken.

4. Reinig de edelstaal behuizing met een vochtige doek. Bij vettige verontreinigingen kunt u ook een beetje mild afwasmiddel gebruiken.

7. Bediening

7.1 Apparaat voorbereiden

1. Kies een standplaats die stevig, vlak en onbrandbaar is. Houd daarbij een afstand van ca. 50 cm tot andere voorwerpen aan.

2. Draai de temperatuurregelaar 6 op „OFF“.

Daarmee is het apparaat uitgeschakeld.

3. Schuif de opvangbak 4 in de daarvoor voorziene opening aan de achterkant van het apparaat.

Opmerking: Houd de opvangbak eerst een beetje schuin en schuif deze dan iets onder de grillplaat. Duw de opvangbak daarna licht omlaag tot deze vastklikt.

4. Vet de grillplaat 3 licht met olie in. Opmerking: Omdat de grillplaat heel

heet kan worden, moet u olie met een hoog rookpunt bijv. zonnebloemolie gebruiken.

5. Steek de stekker in een geschikt stopcontact (zie "3. Technische gegevens" op pagina 37). Het apparaat is nu gereed voor gebruik.

Opmerking: bij hardnekkige verontreinigingen moet een een speciaal reinigingsmiddel voor edelstaal oppervlakken gebruiken.

5. Gebruik het apparaat pas weer als het helemaal droog is.

6. Leg nooit het netsnoer of andere voorwerpen op de grilplaat 3.

Voorzichtig!

• Laat tijdens het grillen geen grillbestek op de glasplaat liggen. Dit kan tot beschadigingen leiden.

• Gebruik geen zuurhoudende of suikerhoudende kruidenmengsels (mengsels die azijn of suiker bevatten), omdat zuur en suiker de grillplaat 3 zouden kunnen beschadigen. Wanneer dit toch gebeurd is, verwijder resten dan direct met een schraper voor ceranvelden voordat de resten zijn afgekoeld.

• U kunt met metalen grillbestek werken.

• Gebruik in geen geval grillbestek of messen van kunststof. Deze zouden kunnen smelten en de grillplaat 3 beschadigen.

1. Draai nu de temperatuurregelaar 6 op de gewenste temperatuurtrede:

– „LO“ tot „2“: Lage temperaturen voor

het warmhouden van grillwaren.

– „3“ tot „5“: Mediumtemperaturen

voor het bereiden van visfilet, groente en andere grilwaren.

– „6“ tot „HI“: Hoogste temperatuur

voor vleesschijven, gevogelte of bruin bakken.

De werkingsindicator 5 brandt en de grillplaat 3 wordt opgewarmd.

Als de laagste temperatuur is bereikt, gaat de werkingsindicator uit 5.

Als de temperatuur van de grillplaat 3 onder de gekozen waarde daalt, schakelt de verwarming zich opnieuw in.

Waarschuwing!

Verbrandingsgevaar: – De grillplaat 3 wordt zeer heet–

niet aanraken!

– Dep gemarineerd of vochtig

vlees voor het grillen af omdat de marinade vetspatten kan veroorzaken.

8. Weggooien

8.1 Apparaat

Het symbool van de afvalbak op wielen met een kruis erdoor geeft aan dat het product in de Europese Unie niet met het huisvuil mag worden

weggegooid. Dat geldt voor het product en voor alle met dit symbool aangegeven accessoires. Hiermee gemarkeerde producten mogen niet met het normale huisvuil worden weggegooid, maar moeten worden afgegeven bij een inzamelpunt voor recycling van elektrische en elektronische apparaten. Geachte klant, Op dit apparaat verlenen wij 3 jaar garantie vanaf de koopdatum. In geval van defecten aan dit product heeft u wettelijke

rechten tegenover de verkoper van het product. Deze wettelijke rechten worden door onze hierna beschreven garantie niet beperkt.

Garantievoorwaarden

De garantieperiode begint vanaf de koopdatum. Bewaar de originele kassabon op een veilige plaats. Deze bon heeft u nodig om de koopdatum aan te tonen. Indien binnen drie jaar vanaf de koopdatum van het product een materiaal- of fabricagefout optreedt, wordt het product door ons (naar onze keuze) of kosteloos voor u gerepareerd of vervangen. De voorwaarde voor deze garantieprestatie is dat binnen de periode van drie jaar het defecte apparaat en de koopkwitantie (kassabon) wordt ingeleverd en schriftelijk kort wordt beschreven waaruit het gebrek bestaat en wanneer dit is opgetreden. Wanneer het defect door onze garantie wordt gedekt, ontvangt u het gerepareerde of een nieuw product terug. Door de reparatie of vervanging van het product begint geen nieuwe garantieperiode.

Garantieperiode en wettelijke aanspraak op garantie

Omvang van de garantie

Het apparaat werd volgens strenge kwaliteitsrichtlijnen geproduceerd en vóór de levering zorgvuldig gecontroleerd. De garantie geldt voor materiaal- of fabricagefouten. Deze garantie wordt niet verleend voor productonderdelen die blootgesteld zijn aan normale slijtage en daarom als slijtonderdelen worden beschouwd of voor beschadigingen aan breekbare onderdelen, bijvoorbeeld schakelaars, accu’s en onderdelen die van glas zijn gemaakt. Deze garantie vervalt wanneer het product werd beschadigd, niet vakkundig werd gebruikt of onderhouden. Voor een vakkundig gebruik van het product moeten alle aanwijzingen in de gebruiksaanwijzing nauwkeurig worden opgevolgd. 1. Appliance description

1.1 Intended purpose

The Silvercrest ceramic grill SCG 1200 A1 is suitable for grilling and cooking food.

Only use the ceramic grill indoors, never outside. The appliance must not be used for thawing, warming or drying objects. This appliance is intended for use in private households and is not suitable for commercial purposes. The appliance is likewise suitable for:

• use in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other commercial areas,

• use in agricultural settings,

• customers in hotels, motels and other accommodations,

The grill plate 3 is heated up and is used to grill and cook food. During cooking, excess fat runs off and is collected in the drip tray 4 behind the grill plate. The heater switches off automatically once the set temperature has been reached. If the temperature falls below this value, the heater

4.4 Protection against electric shock

Warning! The following safety information is intended to protect you against electric shock.

• Only plug the appliance into a correctly installed, earthed wall socket.

• The appliance must not under any circumstances be used if it is damaged. Have the device repaired in such cases by a qualified specialist. The contact data can be found in “Service Centre” on page 54.

• If the mains cable for this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a person with similar qualifications in order to avoid a hazard.

• Water or other liquids must never be allowed to enter the appliance. For this reason: – never use it outdoors – never immerse it in liquids – never place liquid-filled objects, e.g.

pans, on the appliance

– never use in very humid environments. If liquid should enter the appliance,

unplug the mains plug immediately and have the appliance repaired by a qualified technician. The contact information can be found under “Service Centre” on page 54.

• Avoid using extension cables. These may only be used under very specific conditions: – the extension cable must be able to

handle the amount of current drawn by the appliance,

– the extension cable must not be

"suspended". Keep children away from it and ensure that it is not possible for anybody to trip over it

– under no circumstances use a

damaged extension cable

– do not connect any other appliances

to the mains socket, since it could cause an overload (do not use multiple sockets of any kind).

• Never touch the appliance, the mains cable or the mains plug with wet hands.

• Always unplug the mains cable by pulling out the plug. Never pull on the cable itself.

• Never carry the appliance by the mains cable.

• Ensure that the mains cable is not kinked, twisted or crushed.

• Keep the mains cable away from hot surfaces, such as the top of a stove.

• Always turn the temperature regulator 6 to "OFF" before pulling the plug out of the wall socket so that the appliance is switched off and no heavy current is flowing.

• If you are not going to use the appliance for a while, remove the plug from the wall socket. Only then is the appliance completely free of current.

4.5 Protection against scalds and burns

Warning! Hot surfaces and boiling fat can cause injuries. Please note therefore:

• Do not move the appliance when it is in use and do not touch the housing or the grill plate 3. These get very hot when the appliance is in use. In this way you can avoid injuries.

• Use oven gloves when cooking food at a high temperature. Splashed fat may otherwise cause burns.

• Marinated meat should be dabbed off before grilling as the marinade may lead to spraying fat.

• The drip tray 4 should never be more than half full. If you need to empty the drip tray 4 while grilling, pull it out very carefully.

• If fat on the appliance catches fire,

under no circumstances use water to put it out! There is danger

5. Before using for the first time

of a deflagration or an electric shock. Instead, cover the appliance with a fire blanket or a large pan lid.

• Never use the appliance near curtains and other flammable materials. If the grilled food catches fire, the flames could easily spread to other objects.

4.6 For the safety of your child

Warning! Children are often unaware of danger and are injured as a result. Please note therefore:

• Only allow children to use this appliance under the supervision of an adult.

• Ensure the appliance is always kept out of the reach of children.

• Ensure that children cannot pull the appliance down onto themselves with the cable.

• Ensure that the packing foil does not become a deadly trap for a child. Packing foils are not toys.

During manufacture, many parts are given a thin film of protective oil. Before using the appliance for the first time, heat it up without any food so that any residues can evaporate. Note: When heating up for the first few times a slight smell may be produced. Make sure the room is adequately ventilated.

1. Take the appliance and all the accessory parts out of the packaging.

2. Remove the packaging material.

3. Check that the appliance shows no signs of damage.

4. Clean the appliance before using it for the first time. Observe the information in

the chapter entitled “6. Cleaning” on page 51.

5. Select a location that is firm, level and not flammable. Maintain a distance of approx. 50 cm from other objects.

6. Turn the temperature regulator 6 to "OFF".

This switches the appliance off.

7. Plug the mains plug into a suitable wall socket (see “3. Technical data” on page 47).

8. Turn the temperature regulator 6 to "5". The indicator lamp 5 lights up and the

appliance heats up.

9. Leave the appliance switched on until the indicator lamp 5 goes out.

10.Keep the appliance switched on for a further 5 minutes.

11.Switch the appliance off again by turning the temperature control 6 to "OFF".

6. Cleaning

Warning! To avoid the danger of an electric shock: –Always remove the mains plug

before cleaning.

– Never clean the appliance under

running water.

1. Carefully remove the drip tray 4 and dispose of the collected fat.

Note Normal domestic quantities can be disposed of as domestic waste. Do not pour the fat down the drain, as it may solidify and cause blockages.

2. Clean the drip tray 4 by hand in dishwater.

3. Clean the grill plate 3 with a damp cloth. Use a mild detergent to clean heavier soiling.

12.Remove the power supply plug and allow the appliance to cool down.

13.Wipe the grill plate 3 again with a damp cloth.

14.Wipe dry with a dry cloth.

The appliance is now ready to use.

Note To remove persistent soiling, use a special ceramic-hob cleaner. For burnt-in residues, you can also use a special ceramic-hob scraper.

4. Clean the stainless steel casing with a damp cloth. Use a mild detergent to remove greasy soiling.

5. Do not use the appliance again until it is completely dry.

6. Do not place the mains cable or any other objects on the grill plate 3.

7. Operation

7.1 Preparing the appliance

1. Place the appliance on a surface that is firm, level and non-flammable. Maintain a distance of approx. 50 cm from other objects.

2. Turn the temperature control 6 to "OFF". This switches the appliance off.

3. Insert the drip tray 4 into the slide provided on the rear of the appliance.

Note Hold the drip tray at a slightly

oblique angle at first and slide it a short way under the grill plate. Then push the drip tray down slightly until it engages.

4. Apply a little oil to the grill plate 3. Note As the grill plate can become

very hot, use an oil with a high smoke point, e.g. sunflower oil.

5. Insert the mains plug into a suitable mains socket (see “3. Technical data”

on page 47). The appliance is now ready to use.

Caution!

• Do not rest any barbecue utensils on the ceramic plate. This could lead to damage.

• Do not use any acidic or sugared seasoning (mixtures that contain vinegar or sugar) as acid and sugar may damage the grill plate 3. Should these substances come into contact with the grill plate nonetheless, remove residues immediately before they begin to cool using a ceramic-hob scraper.

• You can use metal barbecue utensils.

• Never use plastic barbecue utensils or plastic knives. These could melt and damage the grill plate 3.

1. Turn the temperature control 6 to the required temperature:

– "LO" to "2": Low temperature for

keeping food warm.

– "3" to "5": Medium temperature for

cooking fish fillets, poultry and other grilled food.

– "6" to "HI": Maximum temperature for

slices of meat, poultry or searing.

The indicator lamp 5 lights up and the grill plate 3 heats up.

When the correct temperature has been reached, the indicator lamp 5 goes out.

If the temperature of the grill plate 3 falls below the selected value, the heater switches on again.

Warning! Risk of burning: – The grill plate 3 gets very hot –

do not touch!

– Marinated or moist meat should

be dabbed off before grilling as the liquid may lead to spraying fat.

Caution!

• Do not rest any barbecue utensils on the ceramic plate. This could lead to damage.

• Do not use acidic seasoning (mixtures containing vinegar) as acid may damage the grill plate 3.

2. Put the food to be cooked onto the grill plate 3. The food to be grilled should not hang over the white line of the grill plate 3.

3. Turn the food to be grilled after a while. Note If necessary, you can remove

food residue now and again using a ceramic-hob scraper.

4. When the food is cooked, remove it from the grill plate 3.

5. To switch off the appliance, turn the temperature control 6 to "OFF" when you have finished grilling.

6. Remove the mains plug.

7. Clean the appliance (see “6. Cleaning” on page 51).

Scope of warranty

The product has been carefully manufactured in accordance with strict quality guidelines and was thoroughly checked before being delivered. The warranty applies to defective materials or workmanship. It is essential to avoid intended uses and actions which are discouraged or warned against in the operating instructions. The product is intended for only private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty is void in the event of misuse, incorrect treatment, use of force or interference by anyone other than our authorized service centre.
