Introduction

Information for these operating instructions

These operating instructions are a component of the Radio Set KH 2131 (henceforth designated as the device) and they provide you with important information about the intended use, safety, installation and connection as well as operation of the device.

These operating instructions must constantly be kept available close to the device. They are to be read and applied by everyone assigned to operate and troubleshoot the device.

Retain these operating instructions and pass them on with the device to any future owners.

This documentation is copyright protected. Any copying or reproduction, including as extracts, as well as the reproduction

of images, also in an altered state, is not permitted without the express written consent of the manufacturer.

Intended use

This device is intended exclusively for the wireless transmission of audio, video and infrared signals in indoor areas. This product is for domestic use only and is not intended for commercial applications. This device is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those mentioned. Possible signal sources are, for example, VCRs, satellite receivers, DVB-T Receivers, CD/DVD player, etc.

In this chapter you receive important safety information regarding the handling of the device.

This device complies with the statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can, however, lead to personal injury and property damage.

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the device observe the following safety information:

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device from transport damage. The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit saves on raw material and reduces generated waste. Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed according to the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

If possible preserve the device's original packaging during the warranty ► period so that in the case of a warranty claim you can package the device

Requirements on the Installation Location

For the safe and error-free operation of the device, the installation location must fulﬁ ll the following conditions:

Handling and operation

Connecting the transmitter

Insert the jackplug of the cinchplug - jackplug cable  socket 8 of the transmitter.

Connect the cinch plug of the cinchplug - jackplug cable  source, for example, a DVD player. Pay heed to the colour coding. If the signal source makes the output signals available to you via a Scart output, use also the Scart to cinchplug adapter OUT (Transmitter)

If need be, you can connect a second signal source to the transmitter.  For this, use the socket AV2 IN

Channel setting

You can operate up to four radio transmission sets at one location. When using multiple radio transmission sets, they must be set to diﬀ erent channels. The transmitter and receiver of each radio transmission set must be set to the same channel for a successful transfer.

Do not dispose of the device in your normal domestic waste. This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Tämä käyttöohje on langattoman audio/video-vastaanottimen KH 2131 (jatkossa "laite") osa ja siinä annetaan tärkeitä ohjeita laitteen määräystenmukaisesta käytöstä, turvallisuudesta, liitännästä sekä laitteen käytöstä.

Käyttöohjeen on aina oltava käytettävissä laitteen lähellä. Jokaisen laitetta käyttävän ja laitteen häiriöitä korjaavan henkilön on luettava käyttöohje ja sovellettava sitä.

Säilytä tämä käyttöohje ja luovuta se laitteen mukana seuraavalle omistajalle.

Tämä asiakirja on suojattu tekijänoikeudellisesti. Kaikenlainen monistaminen tai kopiointi, myös osittain, sekä kuvien toistaminen,

myös muutettuna, on sallittua ainoastaan valmistajan kirjallisella luvalla.

Tämä laite on tarkoitettu ainoastaan audio-, video- ja infrapunasignaalien langattomaan siirtoon suljetuissa tiloissa. Tuote on tarkoitettu ainoastaan yksityiseen käyttöön. Tuotetta ei siten saa käyttää ammatillisiin tarkoituksiin. Muu tai tämän ylittävä käyttö katsotaan määräystenvastaiseksi. Mahdollisia signaalilähteitä ovat esim. videonauhuri, SAT-vastaanotin, DVB-T-vastaanotin, CD/DVD-soitin jne.

Turvallisuus

Tässä luvussa annetaan tärkeitä turvaohjeita laitteen käsittelyyn.

Tärkeitä turvallisuusohjeita

Tämä laite on säädettyjen turvallisuusmääräysten mukainen. Asiaton käyttö saattaa johtaa henkilövahinkoihin ja aineellisiin vahinkoihin.

Käsittele laitetta turvallisesti noudattamalla seuraavia turvaohjeita:

Tarkista laite ennen käyttöä ulkoisten näkyvien vaurioiden varalta. Älä ota ■ viallista tai pudonnutta laitetta käyttöön.

Anna viallinen johto tai liitännät valtuutetun ammattihenkilöstön tai huoltopal- ■ velun vaihdettavaksi.

Henkilöt, jotk kykene käyttämään laitetta turvallisesti, saavat käyttää laitetta ainoastaan v
