MILK FROTHER KH 1903
Intended Use
This appliance is intended for use in frothing milk, sauces, shakes and other liquid foods. This appliance is intended only for domestic use. It is not designed for commercial or industrial applications.
Safety instructions
Warning about appliance damage!
• Never submerse the handle in water or other fluids.
• Never attempt to process solid foodstuffs with the appliance.
• Do not start the appliance when it is stood in its stand.
Risk of personal injury!
• This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including children) with restr icted physical, physiological or intellectual abilities or deficien­ces in experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be used.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

Information regarding the handling of batteries
When interacting with batteries, please observe the following:
• Do not throw batteries into a fire. Do not recharge the batteries. The risk of explosions and injuries exists!
• Never open batteries, never solder or weld batteries. The risk of explosions and injuries exists!
• Regularly check the condition of the batteries. Leaking batteries can cause damage to the appliance.
• If you do not intend to use the device for an extended period, remove the batteries.
• Wear protective gloves in the event of having to remove a leaking battery. Clean the battery compartment and the battery contacts with a dry cloth.
• Keep batteries away from children. Children can put batteries into their mouths and swallow them. If a battery is swallowed, medical assistance must be sought IMMEDIATELY.

Description of the appliance

Preparation
• Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
Note:
Please take note of the directions regarding interaction with the batteries, as detailed in the section "Safety Instructions"!
• Open the battery compartment by pressing the clip on the battery compartment cover 1 inside and at the same time lift the battery compartment cover 1 up.
• Insert the batteries as per the polarity diagramme in the battery compartment.

• Close the battery compartment cover 1 by sliding it into the two restrainers in the edge of the battery compartment and then pressing the clip down so that it engages.
Note:
Proceed in exactly the same way when you need to change the batteries.
Utilisation
• Fill a tall receptacle up to approx. 1/3 with the fluid to be frothed.
Note:
Milk may not exceed a temperature of 60˚C. Otherwise, it does not allow itself to be frothed.
• Hold the milk frother to just before the bottom of the receptacle.
• Press the On/Off button 2. The whisk 4 starts to turn. Guide it in slow circular movements.
• Press the On/Off button 2 once more to stop the whisk 4.
• Lift the milk frother out of the receptacle.
• Place it in the stand 5. Any liquids remaining on the whisk 4 drop into the drip tray 6.
