Use exible metal conduit.
Push the UL listed conduit tting device over the
actuator’s cable to butt against the enclosure.
Screw in conduit connector.
Jacket the actuator’s input wiring with UL listed exible
conduit.
Properly terminate the conduit in a suitable junction box.
Installation Notes for MS41-7303-W02, MS41-7303WH2
Use 60 °C/75 °C copper (Cu) conductor and wire size range 12 (0.9 mm) to 26 (0.4 mm) Ga., stranded or solid.
If conduit is used, use UL listed and CSA certied
watertight exible metal conduit, strain relief, and conduit tting suitable for outdoor applications, rated
NEMA type 4, 4X, 6 or 6X or watertight.
Provide overload protection and disconnect as required.
1
Actuators may be connected in parallel. See the Mounting Multiple Actuators on a Common Jackshaft section for
2
complete information. Observe power consumption and input impedance.
Actuators may also be powered by 24 Vdc.
3
For end position indication, interlock control, fan startup, etc., MA41-7303-502 incorporates two built-in auxiliary switches: 2x SPDT, 3 A (0.5 A) @ 250 Vac, UL approved.
4
One switch is xed at +10° and one is adjustable from 10°
… 85°.
Meets cULus requirements without the need of an electrical ground connection.
