Indicações de segurança de acordo com
DIN EN 1083-2

♦ As escovas não podem ser montadas sobre a

máquina cuja rotação esteja acima da rotação

máxima permitida das escovas.

♦ Escovas danifi cadas não podem ser utilizadas.
♦ Coloração devido à ferrugem ou outros sinais de

alterações químicas ou mecânicas no material

de encaixe podem provocar uma avaria das

escovas.

♦ As escovas devem ser armazenadas em armações,

recipientes ou caixas adequadas de forma que

fi quem protegidas contra as seguintes exposições:

- 1 - - 2 - - 3 - - 4 - - 5 - - 6 -

1) Humidade de ar elevada, calor, água ou
outros líquidos que podem provocar danos
nas escovas;

2) Ácidos ou vapores de ácidos que podem
provocar danos;

3) Temperaturas que são baixas que poderiam
causar condensação quando estas são arma­zenadas numa área com temperaturas mais
elevadas;

4) Deformação de qualquer componente da
escova.

Recomendações de utilização

Apenas as pontas de arame trabalham (ver fi g. 1).
Condição é uma ligeira pressão nas escovas (ver fi g. 1).
Um pressão elevada não melhora o resultado, pelo

contrário reduz a vida útil das escovas e exige uma
potência de transmissão mais elevada (ver fi g. 2).

Com escovas fi xas trabalhar abaixo do centro da
escova (ver fi g. 1).

Se forem necessárias velocidades e pressões mais
elevadas, devem ser utilizadas escovas mais agressivas.

Isto pode ser alcançado através de:

− maior espessura de arame;

− comprimento da aplicação mais reduzido;

− ou com outra aplicação de escova (nodado em

vez de ondulado).

Optimização do encaixe da escova

O efeito da escova pretendida deve ser visível dentro
de poucos segundos.

Efeito de escova é demasiado reduzido:

− aumentar rotações (ter em atenção rotação máx.!);

− utilizar diâmetro maior de escova;

− seleccionar comprimento mais curto de aplicação;

− seleccionar aplicação de arame mais forte ou

outros tipos de escova.

Efeito de escova é demasiado forte:

− reduzir rotação;

− reduzir pressão;

− seleccionar comprimento maior de aplicação;

− seleccionar aplicação de arame mais fi no ou

outros tipos de escova.

Safety instructions

♦ Do not exceed the specifi ed maximum rotation

speed!

♦ Wear close-fi tting protective clothing and eye

protection!

♦ Use a machine guard, if available!

Safety instructions as per DIN EN 1083-2

♦ Brushes must not be fi tted onto machines whose

rotation speed lies above the maximum permitted

brush speed.

♦ Damaged brushes may not be used.
♦ Rust discoloration or other signs of chemical or

mechanical change to the mounting material can

cause premature failure of the brush.

♦ Brushes must be stored in suitable racks, bins or

boxes such that they are protected against the

following eff ects:

1) high humidity, heat, water or other liquids that
could cause damage to the brushes;

2) Acids or vapours of acids, which could cause
damage;

3) Temperatures that are so low that they could
lead to condensation when the brushes are
relocated to an area with higher temperatures;

4) Deformation of any brush component.

Recommendations for use

Only the wire tips do the work (see Fig. 1).
Prerequisite is the exertion of light pressure while

brushing (see Fig. 1).
Increased pressure does not improve the result,

instead, it reduces the service life of the brush and
requires higher input power (see Fig. 2).

For stationary inserted brushes, always work below
the middle of the brush (see Fig. 1).

Should higher rotation speeds and greater pressure be
required, then more aggressive brushes must be used.

This is achieved by:

− larger wire gauge;

− reduced braid length;

− or through another brush braid

(plaited instead of corrugated).

Optimization of the brush
attachment

The desired brush eff ect must be apparent within
a few seconds.

Brush eff ect is insuffi cient:

− increase rotation speed

(pay heed to max. rotation speed!);

− use a larger brush diameter;

− select a shorter braid length;

− select a stronger wire braid, or another

type of brush.

Brush eff ect is too forceful:

− reduce the rotation speed;

− reduce the pressure;

− select a longer wire braid;

− select a thinner wire braid, or another

type of brush.

Sicherheitshinweise gemäß DIN EN 1083-2

♦ Bürsten dürfen nicht auf Maschinen montiert wer-

den, deren Drehzahl über der höchstzulässigen

Bürstendrehzahl liegt.

♦ Beschädigte Bürsten dürfen nicht verwendet werden.
♦ Rostverfärbungen oder andere Anzeichen von

chemischer oder mechanischer Veränderung am

Besteckungsmaterial können vorzeitiges Versagen

der Bürste verursachen.

♦ Bürsten müssen in geeigneten Gestellen, Behäl-

tern oder Kästen so gelagert werden, dass sie

gegen folgende Einwirkungen geschützt sind:

1) hohe Luftfeuchte, Hitze, Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten, welche eine Beschädigung der
Bürste hervorrufen könnten;

2) Säuren oder Dämpfe von Säuren, die eine
Beschädigung hervorrufen könnten;

3) Temperaturen, die so niedrig sind, dass sie
zur Kondensation führen könnten, wenn diese
in einen Bereich mit höheren Temperaturen
ausgelagert werden;

4) Deformation irgendeines Bürstenbestandteiles.

Anwendungsempfehlungen

Nur die Drahtspitzen leisten die Arbeit (siehe Abb. 1).
Voraussetzung ist ein leichter Anpressdruck beim

Bürsten (siehe Abb. 1).
Ein erhöhter Anpressdruck verbessrt nicht das Ergeb-

nis, sondern setzt die Lebensdauer der Bürste herab
und erfordert eine höhere Antriebsleistung (siehe
Abb. 2).

Bei stationär eingesetzten Bürsten immer unterhalb
der Bürstenmitte arbeiten (siehe Abb. 1).

Sind höhere Geschwindigkeiten und stärkerer An­pressdruck erforderlich, müssen aggressivere Bürsten
verwendet werden.

Das wird erreicht durch:

− größere Drahtstärke;

− geringere Besatzlänge;

− oder durch anderen Bürstenbesatz

(gezopft anstatt gewellt).

Optimierung des Bürsteneinsatzes

Der gewünschte Bürsteneff ekt muss sich innerhalb von
wenigen Sekunden einstellen.

Bürsteneff ekt ist zu gering:

− Drehzahl erhöhen (max. Drehzahl beachten!);

− größeren Bürstendurchmesser verwenden;

− kürzere Besatzlänge wählen;

− stärkeren Drahtbesatz wählen bzw. andere

Bürstentypen.

Bürsteneff ekt ist zu stark:

− Drehzahl reduzieren;

− Anpressdruck verringern;

− größere Besatzlänge wählen;

− dünneren Drahtbesatz wählen bzw. andere

Bürstentypen.
