3-1. WHAT TO DO

	READ YOUR USER MANUAL AND ALL SUPPLEMENTS (IF ANY ENCLOSED) THOROUGHLY BEFORE OPER-
	ATING YOUR UNIT.
E	1.	COMPLY WITH ALL FIRE PREVENTION REGULATIONS. COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LOCAL, STATE, OR FED-
		ERAL LAWS IN THE UNITED STATES IS THE USER’S RESPONSIBILITY. Your unit comes with a spark arrester
N
		screen. Replacement spark arrester screen kits are available at your nearest McCulloch Authorized Service
G
		Center listed under “SAWS” in your Telephone Directory Yellow Pages.
L
	2.	TURN UNIT OFF before setting it down, and also before installing or removing attachments.
I 3.		KEEP ALL SCREWS AND FASTENERS TIGHT and the unit in good operating condition. Never operate this
S		equipment if it is improperly adjusted or not completely and securely assembled.

H4. KEEP HANDLES DRY, clean and free of fuel mixture.

5.STORE EQUIPMENT AWAY FROM POSSIBLE IGNITION SOURCES, such as gas-powered water heaters, clothes dryers, or oil-fired furnaces, portable heaters, etc.

6.ALWAYS KEEP the engine free of debris build-up.

7.OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT should always be restricted to mature and properly instructed individuals.

3-1. CHOSES A FAIRE

	A		pare-étincelles sont disponibles auprès de votre Centre de réparation McCulloch agréé, dont vous trouverez le

	C		ARRETER LE MOTEUR avant de poser l’outil, de même qu’avant de poser ou de déposer les accessoires.
		3.	VEILLER A CE QUE TOUTES LES VIS ET PIECES DE FIXATION SOIENT BIEN SERREES et que l’outil est en

			bon état de fonctionnement. Ne jamais utiliser l’outil s’il n’est pas correctement réglé et solidement assemblé.

		4.	VEILLER A CE QUE LES POIGNEES SOIENT PROPRES, sèches et non souillées de carburant.

S5. ENTREPOSER L’EQUIPEMENT A L’ECART DES SOURCES D’ALLUMAGE telles que chauffe-eau à gaz, séchoirs à linge, chaudières à mazout, radiateurs portatifs, etc.

6.GARDER TOUJOURS le moteur exempt de débris.

7.L’USAGE DE L’EQUIPEMENT doit être exclusivement confié à des personnes mûres familiarisées avec son fonctionnement.

3-1. QUE HACER

	1.	CUMPLIR CON TODAS LAS REGULACIONES DE PREVENCION CONTRA EL FUEGO. EL CUMPLIMIENTO

8.To reduce the risk of injury associated with inhalation of dust, use a face filter mask in dusty conditions. Paper dust masks are available at most paint and hardware stores.

9.To reduce the risk of hearing loss associated with sound level(s), hearing protection is required.

	10.	To reduce the risk of injury associated with thrown objects:
		(A) Always wear eye protection and foot protection. Eye protection should meet the requirements of
E		ANSI Z87.1.
		(B) Do not allow bystanders in work area.
N		(C) Do not point blower nozzle in direction of people or pets.
G	11.	To reduce the risk of injury associated with contacting rotating parts, stop the engine before installing or remov-
L		ing attachments. Do not operate without guard(s) in place. Always disconnect the spark plug before performing
		maintenance or accessing movable parts.
I
	12.	To reduce the risk of injury associated with exhaust fume inhalation, do not operate in unventilated area.
S	13.	To reduce the risk of fire and burn injury:

H(A) Handle fuel with care. It is highly flammable.

(B)Do not smoke while handling fuel.

(C)Do not refuel a hot or running engine

(D)Avoid spilling fuel or oil. Always wipe unit dry before using

(E)Move at least 10 ft. (3 meters) away from the fueling point before starting engine.

(F)Always store gasoline in a container approved for flammable liquids.

(G)Make sure the unit is properly assembled and in good operating condition.

		12. Pour réduire tout risque d'accident lié à l'inhalation des gaz d'échappement, ne pas utiliser l'appareil dans une
	I	zone non ventilée.

S13. Pour réduire tout risque d'incendie ou de brûlure :

(A)Manipulez l'essence avec la plus grande attention. Elle est très inflammable.

(B)Ne fumez pas lorsque vous manipulez l'essence.

(C)Ne rajoutez pas d'essence lorsque le moteur est chaud ou en train de tourner

(D)Evitez les éclaboussures d'essence ou d'huile. Essuyez toujours l'unité avant de l'utiliser

(E)Eloignez-vous au moins de 10 pieds (3 mètres) du lieu de ravitaillement avant de démarrer le moteur.

(F)Stockez toujours l'essence dans un conteneur agréé pour les liquides inflammables.

(G)Verifiez que l'unité a ete montée correctement et se trouve en bonne condition de marche.

3-2. WHAT NOT TO DO

		1.	DO NOT USE ANY OTHER FUEL than that recommended in your manual. Always follow instructions in the
			Fuel and Lubrication section of this manual. Never use gasoline unless it is properly mixed with 2-cycle
			engine lubricant. Permanent damage to engine will result, voiding manufacturer’s warranty.
		2.	DO NOT SMOKE while refueling or operating equipment.
	E	3.	DO NOT OPERATE UNIT WITHOUT A MUFFLER and properly installed muffler shield.
		4.	DO NOT TOUCH or let your hands or body come in contact with a hot muffler or spark plug wire.
	N
		5.	DUE TO THE DANGER of exhaust fumes, never operate blower in a confined or poorly ventilated area.
	G
		6.	NEVER POINT BLOWER in the direction of people, animals, buildings, automobiles, or windows, etc.
	L
		7. DO NOT operate unit without inlet cover installed to prevent contact with impeller.
	I	8. DO NOT set a hot engine down where flammable material is present.
	S	9. DO NOT OPERATE UNIT FOR PROLONGED PERIODS. Rest periodically.

H10. DO NOT OPERATE UNIT WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.

11.DO NOT ADD, REMOVE OR ALTER ANY COMPONENTS OF THIS PRODUCT. Doing so could cause personal injury and/or damage the unit voiding the manufacturer’s warranty.

12.DO NOT operate your unit near or around flammable liquids or gases whether in or out of doors. An explosion and/or fire may result.

13.DO NOT WEAR loose clothing, scarfs, neck chains, unconfined long hair, and the like. Doing so could cause injury associated with objects being drawn into the rotating parts.

3-2. CHOSES A NE PAS FAIRE

1.NE PAS UTILISER DE CARBURANT AUTRE que celui recommandé dans le manuel. Se conformer aux instructions de la section Carburant et lubrification. Ne jamais utiliser d’essence qui n’est pas mélangée à de

A	8.	NE PAS poser l’outil quand le moteur est chaud et s’il y a toute matière inflammable.
I	9.	NE PAS UTILISER L’OUTIL PENDANT DES PERIODES PROLONGEES sans le laisser refroidir de temps à

10.NE PAS UTILISER L’OUTIL SOUS L’INFLUENCE DE L’ALCOOL OU D’UN MEDICAMENT.

11.NE MODIFIER OU RETIRER AUCUNE PIECE OU COMPOSANT DE CE PRODUIT. Ceci pourrait causer des dommages corporels et/ou matériels et entraîner l’annulation de la garantie du fabricant.

12.A l’extérieur ou à l’intérieur, NE PAS UTILISER votre l’outil près de tout produit inflammable (liquides, gas ). Une explosion et/ou un feu pourrait en résulter.

13.NE PAS PORTER de vêtements amples, d’écharpes, de colliers, de cheveux longs non attachés, etc., sinon on risque d’être blessé si les objets sont aspirés dans les pièces rotatives.

3-2. QUE NO HACER

1.NO UTILIZAR NINGUN OTRO COMBUSTIBLE que no sea el recomendado en el manual. Se deben seguir

		gasolina a menos que esté mezclada en forma adecuada con lubricante para motor de 2 ciclos. De lo contrario

	2.	NO FUMAR al estar reabasteciendo de combustible o mientras está operando el equipo.
E 3. NO OPERAR LA UNIDAD SIN EL MOFLE y si el protector del mofle no está bien instalado.
S	4. NO TOCAR ni dejar que las manos o el cuerpo entren en contacto con el mofle caliente o con los alambres de
		la bujía de encendido. 5.	DEBIDO AL PELIGRO de humos del escape, nunca opere el soplador en áreas de

		ventilación limitada.

A	6. NUNCA APUNTE EL SOPLADOR en dirección de gente, animales, edificios, automóviles, ventanas, etc.

Ñ7. NO opere la unidad sin la cubierta de entrada instalada, para evitar contacto con el impulsor.

O 8. NO deje el motor caliente donde se encuentre material inflamable presente.

L9. NO OPERAR LA UNIDAD POR PERIODOS PROLONGADOS. Dejarla descansar periódicamente.

10.NO OPERAR LA UNIDAD BAJO EL EFECTO DEL ALCOHOL O DROGAS.

11.NO ANADIR, QUITAR O ALTERAR NINGUN COMPONENTE DE ESTE PRODUCTO. De lo contrario se pueden provocar heridas personales y/o daños a la unidad anulando la garantía del fabricante.

12.NO OPERE la unidad cerca o alrededor de liquidos o gases flamables, aunque se encuentre en ambientes cerrados o al aire libre. Una explosión y/o incendio puede resultar.

13.NO USE ropa floja, bufandas, cadenas el cabello largo suelto y cosas por el estilo. De lo contrario podría provacar daños relacionados con objetos que pueden ser atrapados por las partes giratorias.
