HEED WARNINGS

Follow to all warnings on your TV/DVD combo and in the operating instructions.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS

Follow all operating and use instructions.

CLEANING

Unplug your TV/DVD combo from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. Use a damp cloth for cleaning the exterior cabinet only.

ATTACHMENTS

The manufacturer of your TV/DVD combo does not make any recommendations for attachments, as they may cause hazards.

WATER AND MOISTURE

Do not use your TV/DVD combo near water, for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.

ACCESSORIES

Do not place your TV/DVD combo on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The TV may fall, causing serious bodily injury and serious damage to your TV/DVD combo.

Make sure that you move an TV/DVD combo and cart combination with care. Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause your TV/DVD combo and cart combination to overturn.

VENTILATION

Slots and openings in the cabinet back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of your TV/DVD combo, and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. Do not place your TV/DVD combo on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar surface. Do not place your TV/DVD combo near or over a radiator or heat source. Do not place your TV/DVD combo in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless you provide correct ventilation or follow the manufacturer's instructions.

POWER SOURCE

Operate your TV/DVD combo only from the type of power source indicated on the rating plate.

If you are not sure of the type of power supply to your home, consult your TV/DVD combo dealer or local power company.

GROUNDING AND POLARIZATION

Your TV/DVD combo is equipped with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Instead of the polarized alternating-current line plug, your TV/DVD combo may be equipped with a 3-wire grounding-type plug (a plug having a third (grounding) pin). This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power outlet. This too, is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type plug.

POWER CORD PROTECTION

Route power supply cords so they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed on or against them. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, wall outlet, and the point where they exit from your TV/DVD combo.

LIGHTNING

To protect your TV/DVD combo from a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system.

This will prevent damage to your TV/DVD combo from lightning and power line surges.

To clean a disc:

Wipe the disc from the center to the outer edge with a soft cloth. Do not wipe in a circular motion.

Caution Do not use any solvents to clean the disc. You may damage the disc.

Note If a soft cloth does not remove the dust or fingerprints, wipe the disc with a cloth that has been slightly moistened with water, then dry the disc with a dry cloth.
