The Planter Set is intended for indoor use.
Commercial use is prohibited.
Safety information
• The device must not be used by people
(including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental faculties or who lack
the necessary experience and/or
knowledge - other than they are super-
vised by a person responsible for safety
or are being instructed to operate the
appliance by such a person.
• Children must be supervised in order
to ensure that they do not play with the
equipment.
• Do not use the device in direct
proximity of a bathtub, shower or
swimming pool..
• The power cord for this device cannot
be replaced. If the cord is damaged,
discard the device.
Operation
• Fill the trays (2a) with soil.
• Plant the seeds.
• Cover the seeds with a small
amount of soil. Press down lightly
on the soil.
• Moisten the soil with water.
There should be no standing
water in the underlying tray (1).
• Place the clear cover (2b) on
the tray (2a).
• You can place the cover (2b) on
the tray (2a) from above or slide
it on from the open side of the
tray.
Caution: Sliding the cover onto
the tray can damage seeds
later, after seedlings have
already sprouted.
• After rst, close the air hole (5)
to maintain maximum humidity
inside the planter box (2a/b).
• Connect the planter set´s built-in
heater to a power source using the
plug (7).
• Should you need to rewater, rst
remove the cover (2b). Moisten the
soil, making sure not to overwater.
Although excess water will ow
out through the drainage holes (3),
in general you should avoid water
build-ups.
Never submerge this device in
water. Injury may occur from
electrocution.
Function
With its built-in heating system, the Planter
Set provides even heat distribution for your
seedlings.
The adjustable vent on the cover lets you
regulate the climate inside each box.

• As soon as seedlings appear, you
may reduce the humidity level. To
do so, slide the adjustable vent (5)
to the left or right to partially open
the air hole (4).
• You can open the air hole (4)
gradually and eventually
remove the cover (2b) com-
pletely as needed.

Cleaning
Always unplug the device before
handling it.
To clean the planter box (2), use a damp
cloth or rinse the cover (2b) and the tray
(2a) with clean water.
To clean the support tray (1), use a cloth
only.
Disposal, environmental
protection
Be environmentally friendly. Return the
tool, accessories and packaging to a
recycling centre when you have nished
with them.
Do not dispose of electrical appli-
ances in household waste.
Return the tool to a recycling centre. The
plastic and metal parts used can be separated
and sorted for recycling. Ask our service centre for details.
Guarantee
• This tool is subject to a guarantee
period of thirty-six months. A shorter
guarantee period of 12 months shall
apply for commercially used and replacement tools according to statutory
regulations.
If you have a justied guarantee
claim, please contact us at our
service centre (see last page for
our telephone number, fax number,
and e-mail address). We will then
give you the details on the claims
procedure.
• Any damage caused by faults in
materials or manufacturing shall be
remedied by free repair or
replacement.
• Caution: In the event of a defect or
service request, please send the device
to our Service Center address. Make
sure the device is clean, and clearly
indicate the nature of the defect. The
device must be returned to our Service
Center fully assembled and with proof of
purchase and warranty.
• Tools sent in by express, measure-
ment cargo or other special forms
of postage with freight collect will
be refused.
• Furthermore, the prerequisite for guarantee services is that the references
indicated in the operating instructions regarding cleaning and maintenance have
been adhered to.
• Damage, which has been caused from
material or manufacturing faults, will
be made good free of charge, by replacement delivery or repair.
• Repairs, which are not covered by the
guarantee, can be carried out for charge
by our service center. Our service center
will be glad to provide you with a cost
estimate.
We can only process devices which
have been packaged sufciently and
which have been dispatched with correct
stamping.
• We will dispose of tools free of charge.
