Universal Marine Splashguard
SG1/SG2 INSTALLATION
Preparation
Protect your marine radio from damage and the harsh marine environment with the SG1/SG2 splashguard. This protective bezel and cover fits virtually any marine stereo on the market and will protect against splashes and spray.
Before You Start
•Disconnect negative battery terminal. Consult a qualified technician for instructions.
•Due to differences in head units, it is recommended to temporarily mount head unit in splashguard before installation to ensure splashguard cover will close properly.
Mounting Area
The diagram below illustrates proper placement of mounting holes to fit dimensions of the unit.

Note: Use extreme caution when drilling holes to avoid damaging fuel lines or existing wiring.
Opening and Closing the Splash Guard
•Press down on release button on front of unit, and splashguard will open to allow access to head unit.
Release Button
• To close unit, press down on splashguard until it clicks into place.
