of a quality product. These operating instructions
are a part of this product. They contain important
information in regard to safety, use and disposal.
Before using the product, familiarise yourself with
all of these operating and safety instructions.
Use the product only as described and only for
the specifi ed areas of application. Retain these
instructions for future reference. In addition, pass
these documents on, together with the product, to
any future owner.

Proper use

Use of these sports headphones is intended for
the non-commercial listening of audio material.
Any other or unintended use is regarded as im­proper use and can lead to damages. Claims of
any kind for damage resulting from unintended
use will not be accepted.

Safety instructions

For safe handling of the device observe the fol­lowing safety information:

■ Before use check the sports headphones for

visible external damage. Do not operate
damaged or dropped sports headphones.

■ Damaged cables or connections should be

replaced by authorized qualifi ed personnel or
by the customer service department.

Persons who, due to their physical, intellectual

or motor abilities, are incapable of operating
the sports headphones safely must only use
them under the supervision or direction of a
responsible person.

■ Only permit children to use the sports head-

phones under supervision. Children may not
be able to correctly assess potential dangers.

■ Repairs to the sports headphones should

only be carried out by authorized specialist
personnel or by the customer service depart­ment. Incorrect repairs can result in danger
for the user. In addition warranty claims
become void.

■ A repair to the sports headphones, during the

warranty period, may only be carried out by
a customer service department authorized by
the manufacturer otherwise no additional war­ranty claims can be considered for subsequent
damages.

■ Defective components may only be replaced

with original replacement parts. Only by
using original replacement parts can you
guarantee that the safety requirements are
complied with.

■ Do not undertake any unauthorised reconstruc-

tion or modifi cations to the sports headphones.

■ Protect the sports headphones from moisture

and liquid penetration.

■ Do not use the sports headphones in the

vicinity of open fl ames.

Danger of hearing damage

extreme sound levels!

Loud music can lead to hear­ing damage.

► Avoid extreme sound levels,

especially over long periods
of time, when you are using
these sports headphones.

Accident hazard

WARNING

Danger through impaired perception!

► Acoustical warning and indication signals

and environmental noises can sound dif­ferent when you are wearing these sports
headphones. Make yourself aware of
how these signals deviate in their sound
so that you can recognise the signals in
the corresponding situations.

► Do not use the sports headphones when

driving a vehicle, riding a bicycle, opera­ting a machine or in any other situation
in which impaired perception of ambient
noise could put you or other people in
danger.

other packaging material away from
children. There is a risk of suff ocation.

The sports headphones are delivered with the fol­lowing components as standard:

cushions (medium size) 1

▯ 2 Pair of ear cushions (small 2 and large 3)
▯ These operating instructions (not depicted)

Check the contents to make sure every-

► If the contents are not complete or are

damaged due to defective packaging
or through transportation contact the
service hotline (see chapter "Service").

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device from transport
damage.

The recirculation of packaging into the

material circuit saves on raw material
and reduces generated waste.

Dispose of packaging materials that are no longer
needed according to regionally established
regulations.

Exchanging the ear cushions

When delivered the sports headphones are pro­vided with medium size ear cushions. Depending
on the size of your ear cup you can use ear
cushions of another size from those supplied.

■ With your fi ngers carefully pull on the ear

cushions to detatch them from the sports.

■ Select from the supplied ear cushions ones

that are suitable for your use. Push these
directly onto the ear clips until they slip into
the recesses on the ear clips.

Putting on the sports headphones

■ When putting the sports headphones on ob-

serve the indicators “R” (right) and “L” (left)
on the side of the earpieces.

■ Place the neckband of the sport headphones

so that the band runs around the back of
your neck. Then lightly press the ear cushions
into your ears.

Connecting the sports headphones

The sports headphones are equipped with a 3.5 mm
jackplug. Many consumer electronic devices are
provided with a corresponding headphones socket.
In the event that your audio device has been
provided with a diff erent connection for head­phones you can use, if necessary, a suitable
adapter (not supplied).

Malfunction causes and remedies

The following table will help with localizing and
remedying minor malfunctions:

lead to irreparable damage to them.

■ Clean the sports headphones with a slightly

damp cloth.

■ Remove the ear cushions for cleaning. Clean

the ear cushions under running water. Dry the
ear cushions well. Replace the ear cushions
over the ear clips only after they have com­pletely dried.

Storage

■ Store the ear clip headphones in a dry

environment.

Disposal

Under no circumstances should

you throw the device into the
normal household waste. This
product is subject to the Euro­pean directive 2012/19/EU.

Dispose of the device through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facil­ity. Observe the currently applicable regulations.
In case of doubt, please contact your waste
disposal centre.

as of the purchase date. This device has been
manufactured with care and meticulously exam­ined before delivery. Please retain your receipt
as proof of purchase. In the case of a warranty
claim, please get in touch, by telephone, with
our service department. Only in this way can
a post-free dispatch for your goods be assured.

intended for commercial use. The warranty is

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any
way by this warranty. The warranty period is not
extended through repairs made under warranty.
This applies also for replaced or repaired parts.
Any damages or defi ciencies found on purchase

unpacking, at the latest two days after purchase.
On expiry of the warranty, all repairs carried out
are subject to payment.
