Instruction for use
AKC7250 C/BLM AKC7250 C/IXM
These instructions have been drawn up for your safety and that of others. You are therefore requested to read them carefully before installing and using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference as necessary. If the appliance is sold or moved, make sure that the manual is handed over to the new user.
Installation
·Installation of the appliance and its connection to the electrical mains must only be
carried out by QUALIFIED PERSONNEL. Before any procedure, it is important to check that the appliance is DISCONNECTED from the electrical mains.
·It is risky to modify or attempt to modify the characteristics of this product.
·After removing the appliance from the packaging, make sure that it is undamaged
and that the electrical lead is in perfect condition. Otherwise, contact your dealer before putting the appliance into operation.
·The manufacturer declines all responsibility in case of failure to comply with the
accident prevention regulations.
·Make sure that air is able to circulate freely around the appliance. Poor ventilation
produced a shortage of oxygen.
· Make sure that the appliance is supplied with the type of gas indicated on the
relative sticker next to the mains gas connection pipe.
· Use of a gas cooking appliance produces heat and moisture in the room which it is
installed. Ensure that the room is well ventilated by keeping the air intakes open and in good working order or by installing an extractor hood with discharge pipe.
· If the appliance is used intensively for a long time, the effectiveness of the
ventilation will have to be increased, for example by opening a window or increasing the power of electric extractor fan.
These instructions are only valid if the country symbol appears on the appliance. If the symbol does not appear on the appliance, it is necessary to refer to the technical instructions which will provide the necessary instructions concerning modification of the appliance to the conditions of use of the country
As a preamble, they shall include the following warnings:
“Prior to installation, ensure that the local distribution conditions (nature of the gas and gas pressure) and the adjustment of the appliance are compatible.

“The adjustment conditions fir this appliance are stated on the label ( or data plate)”, “This appliance is not connected to a combustion products evacuation device. It shall
be installed and connected in accordance with current installation regulations. Particular attention shall be given to the relevant requirements regarding ventilation.
If, in order to comply with this requirement, a new plate or label is required. This shall be supplied with the conversion parts and it shall comply with the requirements of legibility and durability in 8.1.1.
Where appropriate, instructions written in the official language or languages of the appliance shall be supplied.
The instructions for use and maintenance shall contain the following warnings:
CAUTION: The use of a gas cooking appliance results in the production of A1 heat, moisture and products of combustion A1 in the room in which it is installed. Ensure that the kitchen A1 is well ventilated especially when the appliance is in use A1: keep natural ventilated holes open or install a mechanical ventilation device(mechanical extractor hood.)
Prolonged intensive use of the appliance may call for additional ventilation, for example opening of a window, or more effective ventilation, for example increasing the level of mechanical ventilation where present.
If the manufacturer instructs the user to use the grill with the door open, the instructions for use and maintenance shall state in emphasis (e.g. by colour or underlined) the following warning:
CAUTION: Accessible parts may be hot when the grill is in use. Young children should be kept away.
A1”CAUTION” This appliance is for cooking purposes only. IT must not be used for other purposes, for example room heating.A1
When the appliance does not comply with 6.1.5.1.1.2 as delivered, the instructions shall contain the substance of the following:
An additional protective means to avoid contact with the oven door is available. This

part should be fitted when young children are likely to be present.
The reference number of the part and information on how to obtain it shall be given in the instructions.
If a glass shut-down lid, according to the requirements in 5.2.8.1, carries the symbol described in Annex F, this is symbol shall be reproduced in the instructions for use and maintenance together with an explanation of its meaning. If a glass shut-down lid , according to the requirements in 5.2.8.1, carries a warning , this warning shall be reproduced in the instructions for use and maintenance.
A3 When an appliance is provided with a cooking hotplate made of glass or glass ceramic, user instructions shall bear the following:
CAUTION: In case of hotplate glass breakage: shut immediately off all burners and any electrical heating element and isolate the appliance from the power supply
do not touch the appliance surface, do not use the appliance.A3
8.3.4 Instructions for conversion to other gases
On delivery of parts intended for conversion to another type of gas or to another pressure, the manufacturer shall supply adequate and clear instructions for changing the parts and also for cleaning, adjustment and control of the appliance an renewal of seals following intervention.
After conversion of the appliance to another type of gas or to another pressure than that for which it was previously adjusted, information on the new adjustment shall be given in place of the previous information, so as to permit unambiguous identification of the state if the appliance after modification.
During use
· This product is designed to cook food inside ordinary homes and for
non-professional purposes. It should not be used for any other purpose.
· After using the appliance, make sure that all controls are in CLOSED or OFF
position.

· If you use an electrical socket close to this appliance, take care that the cables of the
appliances you are using are far away from the hot parts of this appliance.
Children’s safety
· This appliance must only be used by adults. Make sure that children do not touch
the controls or play with the appliance.
· The exposed parts of this appliance heat up during cooking and remain hot for some
time even after it is switched off. Keep children well away until the appliance has cooled down.
Cleaning and maintenance
· Keep the appliance thoroughly cleaned. Food residues may cause fire risks.
Service and parts
· In the instance of malfunctions, never attempt to repair the appliance by yourself.
Repairs by unskilled persons may cause damage and accidents. First refer to the contents of this manual. If you do not find the necessary information, contact your nearest Service Centre. Servicing work on this appliance must be carried out by an authorized Technical Service Centre. Always request the use of original spare
parts.
Environmental protection advice
· All the materials used are environmentally compatible and recyclable. Please make
your contribution to conserving the environment by using the separate waste collection channels available.
Decommissioned appliances
· Appliances which are no longer used or usable are not worthless waste. Through
environment-friendly disposal, a number of materials used in the production of your appliance can be recovered.
· Find out about the current disposal options from your specialist dealer, or your
local authority.
· Before scrapping the appliances, cut the power supply lead and make it unusable.
