DVM1326 – DIGITAL SOUND LEVEL METER

Thank you for buying the
device into service.
This digital sound level meter can be used for sound level measurements in factories, schools,
offices, airports, etc. It can also check the acoustics of studios, auditoriums and hi-fi
installations.

4. Front Panel Description

1. LC display : 3 ½-digit LC display with dB, A,
C, Lo, Hi, BAT, MAX HOL D & DATA HOLD
indication

2. Low/Hi button : to select the higher or lower
measuring ranges

3. S/F button : to select slow or fast response

4. MAX. HOLD : Press this button to hold the
highest reading. Press the button again to
release it and allow further measurements

5. DATA HOLD : Press this button to hold the
current measurement. Press it again to
release it and allow further measurements.

6. Function switch : to select the various
measurement functions

5. Operating Instructions

1. Place the function switch in the A or C position.

2. Hol d the meter horizon tally and direct the microphon e towards the sound source to be
measured.

3. Pres s the Lo/Hi but t on to sel e c t Lo & dB o r Hi & dB.

4. Press the S/F button to select slow & dB or fast & dB

5. Both the A & C weighting curves have a frequency range between 30Hz and 10KHz.

6. The fast response is ideal to measure short bursts of sound and peak values.

7. The s ound leve l is d i s played

Note : strong winds (> 10m/sec.) can influence your measurements. Use the included

windscreen when this happens.

6. Batt ery Replacem ent

The “BAT” indication appears on the LCD when the battery needs to be replaced. Open the
battery case, remove the old battery and insert the new one.

2. Low/Hi knop : om de lage of hoge meetbereiken te selecteren

3. S/F knop : om te kiezen tussen een trage en een snelle responstijd

4. MAX. HOLD : Druk op deze knop om de hoogste gemeten waarde vast te houden. Druk

opnieuw om die waarde los te laten, zodat het toestel weer nieuwe metingen kan verrichten

5. DATA HOLD : Druk op deze knop om de huidige meting vast te houden. Druk opnieuw om

die meting los te laten zodat het toestel nieuwe metingen kan uitvoeren.

6. Functieschakelaar : om de verschillende meetfuncties te selecteren
