This moisture meter is a handy tool for measuring the moisture level in sawn timber,
cardboard, paper, plaster, concrete and mortar.

4. Maintenance

• Keep the moisture meter on a dry place.

• Prevent dirt from getting between the measuring electrodes.

• Changing the electrodes:

o Unscrew the electrodes from the unit and screw in the new electrodes.

5. Use

• Function Check

o Connect the electrodes to the T contacts on the protective cap.

Reference display for wood: 27% ± 2%.
Reference display for building material: 1.3% ± 0.1%.

o Connect the electrodes to the B contacts on the protective cap to perform a battery

check.
Reference display for wood: 44% ± 2%.
Reference display for building material: 2.1% ± 0.1%.

• Application

o Remove the protective cap and place the selection switch to the appropriate

measuring function.

o Press both probes firmly into the material. Place the meter perpendicular to the fibre

structure of the wood.

o Repeat the process to yield representative measurements.
o Close the meter after each use.

• Automatic Power-Off Function

• The meter will automatically switch off after approximately 15 minutes. Press the on/off

switch to restore the power.

• Changing the Batteries

Replace the batteries when

• Unscrew the screw on the back of the device.

• Remove the battery cover.

• Replace the batteries respecting the polarity.

4. Onderhoud

• Bewaar de meter op een droge plaats.

• Zorg dat de elektrodes niet vuil kunnen worden.

• Vervangen van de elektrodes:

o Schroef de elektrodes van het toestel en schroef de nieuwe elektrodes in de meter.

5. Gebruik

• Controle

o Plaats de elektrodes op de T-contacten op het beschermkapje.

Referentiewaarde voor hout: 27 % ± 2 %.
Referentiewaarde voor bouwmaterialen: 1,3 % ± 0,1 %.

o Plaats de elektrodes op de B-contacten op het beschermkapje om de batterijen testen.

Referentiewaarde voor hout: 44 % ± 2 %.
Referentiewaarde voor bouwmaterialen: 2,1 % ± 0,1 %.

• Gebruik

o Verwijder het beschermkapje en kies de gewenste functie met de schakelaar.

o Druk beide elektrodes stevig tegen het materiaal. Plaats de elektrodes loodrecht op de

houtstructuur.

o Herhaal de handeling om representatieve meetwaarden te verkrijgen.

o Sluit de meter met het beschermkapje.

OPMERKING: Door verschillen in houtstructuur en -temperatuur is het aangeraden de

• Stocker l’humidimètre dans un endroit sec.

• S’assurer que les capteurs soient toujours propres.

• Remplacement des électrodes :

o Desserrer les électrodes de l’humidimètre et visser les nouvelles électrodes dans

l’humidimètre.

5. Use

• Contrôle de fonctionnement

o Placer les capteurs sur les points de contact T situé sur le capuchon.

Valeur de référence pour le bois : 27 % ± 2 %.
Valeur de référence pour matériaux de construction : 1,3 % ± 0,1 %.

o Effectuer un contrôle de puissance des piles en plaçant les capteurs sur les points de

contact B situé sur le capuchon.
Valeur de référence pour le bois : 44 % ± 2 %.
Valeur de référence pour matériaux de construction : 2,1 % ± 0,1 %.

• Application

o Retirer le capuchon et placer le sélecteur de fonction sur la fonction de votre choix.

o Enfoncer les capteurs bien fermement dans le matériau. Placer l’humidimètre de

manière perpendiculaire par rapport à la structure du bois.

o Répéter ce processus afin recueillir plusieurs valeurs représentatives.

o Refermer l’humidimètre avec le capuchon après chaque emploi.
