Introduction

The Bluetooth™ headset HBH-65
is a portable headset solution based
on Bluetooth wireless technology.

See “Guidelines for safe and efficient use” on
page 14 and “Limited Warranty” on page 16 before
using your headset.

What is Bluetooth wireless technology?

The Bluetooth wireless technology makes it possible
to connect any compatible portable and stationary
communications device without using cables.
The technology is based on a radio link that offers
fast and reliable transmission of voice and data
information. It does not require a line-of-sight
connection in order to establish communication.
Bluetooth wireless technology uses a globally
available frequency range intended to ensure
communication compatibility worldwide.

How can I use my headset?

You can connect your HBH-65 headset to your mobile
phone or PC – or any device with Bluetooth wireless
technology that supports the Headset profile or the
Handsfree profile. This user’s guide focuses on how to
use the headset with your mobile phone. You need to
have a phone with built-in Bluetooth capability, or a
phone with a Bluetooth adapter connected to it. When
the headset is connected to your mobile phone, you can
use voice control to make calls (if your phone supports
this function). The phone can be tucked away in your
pocket or in a bag. You can handle incoming and
outgoing calls, and adjust the volume, using the
buttons on the headset.

Getting started

To charge the battery

Before you can use your headset, you must first:

• Charge the headset battery, using an appropriate
Sony Ericsson charger.

• Pair the headset with a device, for example, a mobile
phone.

Compatible Sony Ericsson or Ericsson chargers:

• Travel Charger CTR-10

• Standard Charger CST-13

• Cigarette Lighter Adapter CLA-11

Charging

The headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery.
We recommend that you charge the battery until the
headset indicator light turns green before using the
headset for the first time. During charging, the
indicator light shows a steady red light if the headset is
turned off, and flashes red if the headset is on.

When the battery is fully charged, the indicator
shows a steady green light if the headset is off, or a
flashing green light if the headset is on.

1. Connect the charger to the headset and to the mains.
The flash symbol on the charger plug must face
upwards.

2. It takes 1 to 1.5 hours to fully recharge the battery.

3. Tilt the charger plug upwards to remove it when

disconnecting the charger.

Pairing

To turn the headset off

• Press and hold the call handling button until you
hear a short high tone followed by a short low tone.

Pairing the headset with a phone

You pair the headset with the phone by adding it to a
list of paired devices in the phone. The two devices
then recognize each other when they connect. Once
you have paired your headset with the phone, you do
not need to pair it again until you want to use it with
another device.

To pair the headset with a Sony Ericsson or
Ericsson phone

To turn the headset on

• Press and hold the call handling button until you
hear a short low tone followed by a short high tone.
The headset indicator light flashes green.

Note: The first time the headset is turned on, it might
automatically be ready for pairing.

1. Prepare your phone according to the phone’s user
documentation on pairing.

2. Press the call handling button for up to 10 seconds

3. Continue according to the instructions in the phone’s
user documentation. The headset passkey is 0000.

Putting on the headset

1. Make sure the ear hook forms an angle of 90°.

2. Place the ear hook behind your ear.

3. Make sure the microphone is pointing towards

your mouth.

4. Make sure the speaker is positioned as shown in
the picture.

Using the headset

Once you have paired the headset with your phone,
you can make and receive calls using the headset as
long as it is turned on and within range of the phone –
up to 10 m (30 ft) outdoors or up to 5 m (15 ft) indoors
with no solid objects in between. For best
performance, use the headset and phone in the
same room.

If your phone supports voice dialling and it is
activated, you can use this feature with the headset.

The following instructions cover the use of the
headset with a Sony Ericsson or Ericsson phone with
built-in Bluetooth capability.

Note: Always make sure the Bluetooth operation mode
in the phone is on when using the Bluetooth headset.

Making and answering calls

Phone functionality is still available when the headset
is connected. You can make and answer calls using the
buttons on the headset, or using the keys on the phone,
as usual.

To answer a call using the call ha ndling button

1. When the headset rings, press the call
handling button.

Note: If the phone rings first, wait until the
headset rings, then press the call handling button.

2. End the call by pressing the call handling button.

To answer a second call

• You have to use the phone keypad to answer and
handle a second call, but you can still use the headset
for talking and listening. You cannot use the headset
buttons during a second call. Refer to the phone's user
documentation on how to handle more than one call
simultaneously.

To make a call using voice dialling

1. Make sure the phone and the headset are on and within
range of each other. Press the call handling button.

To re jec t a cal l

• When the headset rings, press and hold the call
handling button until you hear a long beep.

2. It may take a while to set up the connection between
the phone and the headset. During this time, you might
hear a repeated tone in the headset. After the beep,
voice dial as you normally would.

3. End the call by pressing the call handling button.

Using voice commands

Voice commands are especially useful when you are
using the headset. Examples of voice commands are
dialling, re-dialling, answering and rejecting calls.
For more information on voice commands, refer to
the phone’s user documentation.

Adjusting the volume

You can adjust the headset speaker volume during
a call, or the ring volume when you are not engaged
in a call.

Transferring sound from phone to headset

If you make a call using your phone, you can transfer
the sound to the headset if the headset is on, paired
with the phone, and within range.

To adjust the volume

• To increase the volume, press .

• To decrease the volume, press .

Note: The headset uses increasing volume. For safety
reasons, it starts with a low volume level before the
maximum set level is reached.

To turn off the microphone

• During a call, press and release both and
to turn off the microphone. A repeated beep is heard
while the microphone is turned off.

• Press and release both and again to
resume the conversation.

To transfer the sound to the headset

• During a call, press the call handling button to transfer
the sound to the headset. The headset beeps until the
sound has been transferred.

If the headset is turned on after a call has been
initiated, you can transfer the sound to the headset by
pressing the call handling button.

Note: To transfer the sound from the headset to
the phone, refer to the phone’s user documentation.

Lost connection to headset

If the connection to the headset is lost during an
ongoing call, press the
the call to the phone, otherwise the call is disconnected
after 30 seconds.

Headset battery status

With the headset on in standby mode, press and release
both and . The battery status is indicated
by one of these three signals, after an initial long
green flash:

• High – three green flashes

• Medium – two green flashes

• Low – one green flash

Resetting the headset

You may want to reset the headset to its default
settings. This also clears all current pairings.

To reset the headset

1. With the headset turned off, press and hold the call
handling button for up to 10 seconds until the
indicator light on the headset flashes green and red.
Then release the button.

2. Press and hold the call handling button again until
you hear one low beep, followed a moment later by
another two beeps. The headset is now turned off,
and has been reset.

Troubleshooting

No sound contact between headset and phone

The headset and the phone you are using with it have
to be paired to recognize each other.

They also have to be within range of each other.
Make sure that there are no solid objects, such as walls
or furniture, in between the headset and the phone.

The indicator light flashes red

This indicates that the headset has only limited talk and
standby time left. Charge the headset battery for
approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

The indicator light flashes green twice

In standby mode, the indicator light might flash green
twice rapidly at intervals of approximately 3 seconds.
This indicates that there is no mobile network within
range. Move to get a signal that is strong enough,
or try searching for a new network in the
GSM networks menu of your phone.

No indication of charging is shown

If you charge a headset battery that is empty, or has not
been used for a long time, it may take up to 30 minutes
before a light to indicate charging (a steady red light)
appears.

• The headset has been exposed to extreme
temperatures. Let the headset rest for a while in room
temperature, then turn it on again.

• The headset has been in pairing mode for more than
10 minutes.

Charging during a call

You should not charge the headset during a call.
The call might be disconnected.

The headset is automatically switched off

There are two reasons why the headset might be
switched off automatically:

• The battery is too low. The indicator light on the
headset flashes red and you hear a low beep. Charge
the headset battery for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.

Guidelines for safe and efficient use

Note: Read this information before using your Bluetooth headset.

Changes or modifications to this Bluetooth headset not expressly
approved by Sony Ericsson may void the user's authority to operate
the equipment.

Please check for any exceptions, due to national requirements or
limitations, in usage of Bluetooth equipment before using this product.

Product care

Please note only Sony Ericsson service partners should remove or replace
the battery.

• Do not expose your product to liquid or moisture or to humidity.

• Do not expose your product to extreme high or low temperatures.

• Do not e xpose your product to lit candles, cigarettes, or cigars, or to open
flames etc.

• Do not drop, throw or try to bend the product as rough treatment could
damage it.

• Do not us e any other accessories than Sony Ericsson or Ericsson originals
intended for use with this product. Use of non-original accessories may
result in loss of performance, damage to the product, fire, electric shock
or injury. The warranty does not cover product failures which have been
caused by use of non-original accessories.

• Do not attempt to disassemble your product. The product does not
contain consumer serviceable or replaceable components. Only
Sony Ericsson service partners should perform service.

• Do not keep the product in an area prone to dust and dirt. Only use a soft
damp cloth to clean your product.

• If you will not be using the product for a while, store it in a place that is
dry, free from damp, dust and extreme temperatures.

Radio frequency exposure

Your Bluetooth headset is a radio transmitter and receiver. When in
operation, it communicates with a Bluetooth equipped mobile device by
receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields
(microwaves) in the frequency range 2400 to 2500 MHz. The output
power of the radio transmitter is low, 0.001 watt.

Your Bluetooth headset is designed to operate in compliance with the
RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and
international health agencies when used with any compatible
Sony Ericsson or Ericsson mobile phone.

Driving

Check the laws and regulations on the use of mobile phones and hands
free equipment in the areas where you drive.

Always give full attention to driving and pull off the road and park before
making or answering a call if driving conditions so require.

RF energy may affect some electronic systems in motor vehicles such as
car stereo, safety equipment etc. Check with your vehicle manufacturer's
representative to be sure that your mobile phone or Bluetooth headset will
not affect the electronic systems in your vehicle.

Electronic equipment

Most modern electronic equipment is shielded from RF energy. However,
certain electronic equipment is not, therefore:

Do not use your Bluetooth headset near medical equipment without
requesting permission. If you are using any personal medical devices,
e.g. a pacemaker or a hearing aid, please read in your mobile phone's
User's Guide for further information.

Aircraft

Turn your Bluetooth headset OFF before boarding any aircraft.
To prevent interference with communication systems, you must
not use your Bluetooth headset while the plane is in the air.

Blasting areas

Turn off all your electronic devices when in a blasting area or in areas
posted turn off two-way radio to avoid interfering with blasting
operations. Construction crews often use remote control RF devices
to set off explosives.

Potentially explosive atmospheres

Turn off your electronic device when in any area with a potentially
explosive atmosphere. It is rare, but your electronic device could
generate sparks. Sparks in such areas could cause an explosion or
fire resulting in bodily injury or even death.

Areas with a potentially explosive atmosphere are often, but not always,
clearly marked.

Power supply

Connect the AC power adapter only to designated power sources as
marked on the product.
To reduce risk of damage to the electric cord, remove it from the outlet
by holding onto the AC adapter rather than the cord.
Make sure the cord is positioned so that it will not be stepped on,
tripped over or otherwise subjected to damage or stress.
To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug the unit from any power source
before attempting to clean it.
The AC power adapter must not be used outdoors or in damp areas.
DANGER – Never alter the AC cord or plug. If the plug will not fit into
the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Improper connection can result in risk of electric shock.

Placing

Sony Ericsson recommends that the Bluetooth headset is worn in
positions where it will not be subject to pressure since such pressure
may result in bodily injury or damage to the product.

Children

Do not allow children to play with your Bluetooth headset since it
contains small parts that could become detached and create a
choking hazard.

Emergency calls

IMPORTANT!

This Bluetooth headset and the electronic device connected to the
hands-free operate using radio signals, cellular and landline networks
as well as user-programmed functions, which cannot guarantee
connection under all conditions. Therefore you should never rely
solely upon any electronic device for essential communications
(e.g. medical emergencies).
Remember, in order to make or receive calls, the hands-free and the
electronic device connected to the hands free must be switched on and
in a service area with adequate cellular signal strength. Emergency calls
may not be possible on all cellular phone networks or when certain
network services and/or phone features are in use. Check with your
local service provider.

Battery information

A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly.

A new battery or one that has not been used for a long period of time
could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used.

Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above +55°C
(+131°F). For maximum battery capacity, use the battery in room
temperature. If the battery is used in low temperatures, the battery
capacity will be reduced.

The battery can only be charged in temperatures between +10°C (+50°F)
and +45°C (+113°F).

Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth headset

The battery in your Bluetooth headset must be disposed of properly
and should never be placed in municipal waste. The Sony Ericsson
service partner removing the battery will dispose of it according to
local regulations.

Limited Warranty

Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warranty, Sony Ericsson Mobile
Communications AB (Sony Ericsson), S-221 88 Lund, Sweden warrants
this product to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship
at the time of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent
period of one (1) year. Should your Product need warranty service,
please return it to the dealer from whom it was purchased or
contact your local Sony Ericsson Customer Care Center to get
further information.

What we will do

If, during the warranty period, this Product fails to operate under normal
use and service, due to defects in materials or workmanship, the
Sony Ericsson authorized distributors or service partners will, at their
option, either repair or replace the Product in accordance with the
conditions stipulated herein.

Conditions

1. The warranty is valid only if the original receipt issued to the original
purchaser by the dealer, specifying the date of purchase and serial
number, is presented with the Product to be repaired or replaced.
Sony Ericsson reserves the right to refuse warranty service if this
information has been removed or changed after the original purchase of
the Product from the dealer.

2. If Sony Ericsson repairs or replaces the Product, the repaired or replaced
Product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original
warranty period or for ninety (90) days from the date of repair, whichever
is longer. Repair or replacement may involve the use of functionally
equivalent reconditioned units. Replaced parts or components will
become the property of Sony Ericsson.

3. This warranty does not cover any failure of the Product due to normal
wear and tear, or due to misuse, including but not limited to use in other
than the normal and customary manner, in accordance with instructions
for use and maintenance of the Product. Nor does this warranty cover any
failure of the product due to accident, modification or adjustment, acts of
God or damage resulting from liquid.

4. This warranty does not cover Product failures due to improper repair
installations, modifications or service performed by a non-Sony Ericsson
authorized person.

5. Tampering with any of the seals on the Product will void the warranty.

6. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES, WHETHER WRITTEN

OR ORAL, OTHER THAN THIS PRINTED LIMITED WARRANTY.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED

Vorbereitungen

So laden Sie den Akku:

Bevor Sie das Headset verwenden können, sind die
folgenden Vorbereitungen erforderlich:

• Laden Sie den Headset-Akku mit einem geeigneten
Ladegerät von Sony Ericsson.

Laden

Das Headset ist mit einem integrierten Akku
ausgestattet. Wir empfehlen das Laden des Akkus,
bis die Anzeigelampe am Headset grün leuchtet,
bevor Sie das Headset erstmals benutzen. Während des
Ladens leuchtet die Anzeigelampe bei ausgeschaltetem
Headset ständig rot, bei eingeschaltetem Headset
blinkt sie rot.

So tätigen Sie einen Anruf sprachgesteuert:

2. Es kann einige Sekunden dauern, bis die Verbindung

Fehlerbehebung

Keine Tonübertragung zwischen dem Headset und dem Telefon

Das Headset und das verwendete Telefon müssen
miteinander gekoppelt sein. Nur dann können sich die
Geräte erkennen.

Die Geräte müssen sich außerdem in Reichweite
befinden. Zwischen dem Headset und dem Telefon
dürfen sich keine festen Objekte befinden

Die Anzeigelampe blinkt rot

Dies zeigt an, dass für das Headset nur noch begrenzte
Sprech- und Standby-Zeit zur Verfügung steht. Das
vollständige Aufladen des Headset-Akkus dauert 1 bis

Die Anzeigelampe blinkt zweimal grün

Im Standby-Modus blinkt die Anzeigelampe in
Intervallen von ca. 3 Sekunden zweimal kurz grün.

Setzen Sie den Akku keinen extremen Temperaturen aus (niemals über

Das Aufladen des Akkus sollte bei Temperaturen zwischen +10 °C und

¿Cómo se utiliza el auricular con micrófono?

Puede conectar el auricular HBH-65 a su teléfono
móvil o PC, o a cualquier dispositivo con la tecnología
inalámbrica Bluetooth que admita el perfil de auricular
o de manos libres. Esta guía del usuario se centra
en cómo utilizar el auricular con su teléfono móvil.
Necesitará tener un teléfono que incorpore
la tecnología Bluetooth, o un teléfono con adaptador

Carga

El auricular lleva incorporada una batería recargable.

pulsando el botón de gestión de llamadas.

Pérdida de la conexión al auricular

Si pierde la conexión al auricular durante una llamada,
pulse la tecla

Para reiniciar el auricular:

Solución de problemas

No hay contacto de sonido entre el auricular
y el teléfono.

El indicador parpadea en verde dos veces

parpadee en verde dos veces rápidamente a
intervalos de aproximadamente 3 segundos.

Exposición a energía de radiofrecuencia

Este auricular Bluetooth es un transmisor y receptor de radio. Durante
su funcionamiento, se comunica con un dispositivo móvil equipado con
Bluetooth mediante la recepción y la transmisión de campos
electromagnéticos (microondas) de radiofrecuencia (RF) dentro del rango
de frecuencias de 2.400 a 2.500 MHz. La potencia de salida del
transmisor de radio es baja: 0,001 vatios.

El auricular Bluetooth está diseñado para funcionar de acuerdo con las
normativas y límites de exposición a RF impuestos por las autoridades
nacionales y los organismos sanitarios internacionales, siempre que se

Dispositivos electrónicos

La mayoría de los equipos electrónicos modernos están protegidos contra
la energía de RF. No obstante, determinados equipos de este tipo no
disponen de protección. Por tanto:

no utilice el auricular Bluetooth cerca de equipos médicos sin haber
solicitado antes permiso. Si utiliza algún dispositivo médico personal,
como un marcapasos o un audífono, consulte la guía del usuario del

Aviones

Apague el auricular Bluetooth antes de subir a un avión. Para evitar
interferencias con los sistemas de comunicaciones, no debe utilizar este
auricular Bluetooth durante el vuelo.

Áreas de detonación

Para evitar interferencias con las operaciones de detonación, apague
todos los dispositivos electrónicos en zonas de detonación o en áreas

Atmósferas potencialmente explosivas

chispas podrían provocar una explosión o un incendio que causarían

Las áreas con atmósfera potencialmente explosiva suelen estar
claramente señalizadas, aunque no siempre.

Alimentación eléctrica

Conecte el adaptador eléctrico de corriente alterna (CA) sólo a las fuentes
de alimentación designadas, conforme a lo indicado en el producto.
Para reducir el riesgo de dañar el cable eléctrico, extráigalo de la toma
de la pared sujetándolo por el adaptador de CA en lugar de por el cable.

Garantía limitada

que este producto no tiene defectos de diseño, ni de material, ni de
fabricación en el momento de la compra y durante un periodo de un (1)
año a partir de la fecha de dicha compra. En caso de que el producto

Nuestro compromiso

Comment utiliser le casque ?

Vous pouvez connecter votre casque HBH-65 à votre
téléphone mobile, à votre PC ou à tout autre
périphérique Bluetooth prenant en charge le profil
Casque ou le profil Kit mains libres. Ce Guide
d’utilisation décrit essentiellement l’utilisation du
casque avec votre téléphone mobile. Vous devez
disposer d’un téléphone qui intègre la technologie

Bluetooth ou qui permet la connexion d’un adaptateur
Bluetooth. Lorsque le casque est connecté à votre

téléphone mobile, vous pouvez utiliser la commande
vocale pour émettre des appels (si votre téléphone
prend en charge cette fonction). Le téléphone peut être
glissé dans une poche ou dans un sac. A l’aide des
boutons situés sur le casque, vous pouvez gérer les
appels entrants et sortants ou encore régler le volume.

Mise en route

Pour charger la batterie

Avant d’utiliser le casque, vous devez :

• Charger la batterie du casque à l’aide d’un chargeur
Sony Ericsson approprié.

• Jumeler le casque avec un périphérique (le téléphone
mobile, par exemple).

Chargement

Le casque est fourni avec une batterie rechargeable
intégrée. Avant d’utiliser le casque pour la première
fois, nous vous conseillons de charger la batterie
jusqu’à ce que le voyant lumineux du casque soit vert.
Pendant le chargement, le voyant lumineux est rouge
lorsque le casque est hors tension et rouge clignotant
lorsqu’il est sous tension.

Lorsque la batterie est entièrement chargée, le voyant
lumineux est vert lorsque le casque est hors tension ou
vert clignotant lorsqu’il est sous tension.

1. Connectez le chargeur au casque et à une prise secteur.
L’éclair imprimé sur la fiche du chargeur doit être
orienté vers le haut.

2. Il faut compter entre 1 heure et 1 heure 30 pour
recharger complètement la batterie.

la détacher lorsque vous déconnectez le chargeur.

Pour mettre le casque hors tension

• Maintenez le bouton de gestion des appels enfoncé
jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez une courte tonalité

A partir du moment où vous avez jumelé le casque
avec le téléphone, il est inutile de répéter cette
opération tant que vous ne souhaitez pas le jumeler
avec un autre périphérique.

• Maintenez le bouton de gestion des appels enfoncé
jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez une courte tonalité
grave, suivie d’une brève tonalité aiguë. Le voyant
lumineux du casque clignote en vert.

Pour jumeler le casque avec un téléphone
Ericsson ou Sony Ericsson

1. Le casque étant hors tension, maintenez le bouton
de gestion des appels enfoncé pendant 10 secondes
jusqu’à ce que le voyant lumineux du casque clignote

Utilisation du casque

Une fois que vous avez jumelé le casque avec votre
téléphone, vous pouvez émettre et recevoir des appels
avec le casque, à condition qu’il soit sous tension et
à portée du téléphone (jusqu’à 10 mètres à l’extérieur
et jusqu’à 5 mètres à l’intérieur sans obstacle physique
interposé). Pour un niveau de performance optimal,
utilisez le casque et le téléphone dans la même pièce.

Si votre téléphone prend en charge la numérotation
vocale et que cette fonction est activée, vous pouvez
l’utiliser avec le casque.

Les instructions suivantes concernent l’utilisation
du casque avec un téléphone Sony Ericsson ou
Ericsson doté des fonctions Bluetooth intégrées.

Remarque : Lors de l’utilisation du casque Bluetooth,
veillez toujours à ce que le mode d’utilisation
Bluetooth du téléphone soit activé.

Pour désactiver le microphone

• En cours d’appel, appuyez brièvement et

Si le casque est mis sous tension alors qu’un appel est

Connexion au casque perdue

Si la connexion au casque est perdue au cours d’un
appel entrant, appuyez sur la touche

Tandis que le casque est en mode veille, appuyez
brièvement et simultanément sur et . L’état
de la batterie est indiqué par l’un de ces trois signaux,
après un long clignotement vert initial :

Cette opération annule également tous les jumelages

1. Le casque étant hors tension, maintenez le bouton
de gestion des appels enfoncé pendant 10 secondes
jusqu’à ce que le voyant lumineux du casque clignote
en vert et rouge. Relâchez ensuite le bouton.

2. Maintenez une nouvelle fois le bouton de gestion des
appels enfoncé jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un
faible bip, suivi ensuite de deux autres bips. Le casque
est à présent hors tension et réinitialisé.

Résolution des problèmes

Aucun contact sonore entre le casque et le téléphone

Le casque et le téléphone que vous employez doivent
être jumelés pour se reconnaître mutuellement.

Ils doivent également être à portée l’un de l’autre.
Vérifiez qu’aucun obstacle physique (tel qu’un mur ou
un meuble) ne s’interpose entre le casque et le
téléphone.

Le voyant lumineux clignote en rouge

Cela signifie que le casque ne dispose plus que d’un
temps de parole et de veille limité. Chargez la batterie
du casque pendant une durée comprise entre 1 heure
et 1 heure 30.

Le voyant lumineux clignote en vert à deux reprises

En mode veille, il se peut que le voyant lumineux
clignote rapidement en vert à deux reprises,
avec des intervalles de 3 secondes environ.
Cela signifie qu’aucun réseau mobile n’est à
proximité. Déplacez-vous pour obtenir une meilleure
réception ou essayez de rechercher un nouveau réseau
dans le menu Réseaux GSM de votre téléphone.

Exposition aux hautes fréquences

Le casque Bluetooth est un émetteur-récepteur radio. Lorsque vous
l’utilisez, il communique avec un dispositif mobile équipé de la
technologie Bluetooth en recevant et en émettant des champs
électromagnétiques (micro-ondes) hautes fréquences (HF) dans la plage
de fréquences comprise entre 2 400 et 2 500 MHz. La puissance de sortie
de l’émetteur radio est très faible (de l’ordre de 0,001 Watt).

Votre casque Bluetooth est conçu pour respecter les directives et les
limites d’exposition à l’énergie HF définies par les organisations
nationales et internationales de santé, lorsqu’il est utilisé avec tout
téléphone mobile Sony Ericsson ou Ericsson compatible.

Sécurité routière

Renseignez-vous sur la législation en vigueur concernant l’utilisation des
téléphones mobiles et des dispositifs mains libres dans les régions que
vous traversez.

Concentrez-vous toujours sur la route. Si les conditions routières
l’exigent, rangez-vous sur l’accotement et immobilisez votre véhicule
avant d’émettre ou de recevoir un appel.

L’énergie HF peut perturber le fonctionnement de certains systèmes
électroniques de votre véhicule comme le système audio, les dispositifs
de sécurité, etc. Vérifiez auprès du constructeur automobile si le
téléphone mobile ou le casque Bluetooth ne risque pas de nuire au
fonctionnement de ces systèmes.

Equipement électronique

La plupart des équipements électroniques récents sont protégés contre les

Sécurité aérienne

Mettez votre casque Bluetooth HORS TENSION avant de monter à bord
d’un avion. Pour éviter que des bruits parasites ne perturbent le
fonctionnement des systèmes de communication, n’utilisez pas votre
casque Bluetooth pendant le vol.

Zones de dynamitage

Mettez tous vos appareils électroniques hors tension lorsque vous vous
trouvez dans une zone où la mise hors tension des radios émetteurs-
récepteurs est imposée. Les équipes de travail sur les chantiers
de construction se servent souvent de dispositifs HF télécommandés
pour déclencher les explosions.

Zones à risque d’explosion

Mettez votre appareil électronique hors tension si vous vous trouvez dans
une zone où l’atmosphère présente un risque d’explosion. Le cas se
présente rarement, mais sachez que votre dispositif peut générer des
étincelles susceptibles de déclencher une explosion ou un incendie,
mettant ainsi gravement en danger votre vie et celle d’autrui.

Les zones présentant un risque d’explosion sont en général clairement
identifiées, mais ce n’est pas toujours le cas.

Source d’alimentation

Ne branchez l’adaptateur d’alimentation c.a. qu’à une source
d’alimentation désignée, tel qu’indiqué sur le produit.
Pour diminuer les risques de dommages au cordon d’alimentation,
retirez-le de la prise en tenant l’adaptateur c.a. plutôt que le cordon.
Veillez à ce que le cordon soit placé de telle sorte qu’il soit impossible
de marcher ou de trébucher dessus, ou encore de l’endommager.
Pour réduire les risques d’électrocution, débranchez l’unité de la source
d’alimentation avant de la nettoyer.

L’adaptateur d’alimentation c.a. ne doit pas être utilisé à l’extérieur ou

libres fonctionnent grâce à des signaux radio, des réseaux cellulaires

Par conséquent, ne comptez pas uniquement sur un appareil électronique

Garantie limitée

En vertu des conditions de cette limitation de garantie, Sony Ericsson
Mobile Communications AB (Sony Ericsson), S-221 88 Lund, Sweden
garantit que ce produit est exempt de vices de conception, de matériau et
de fabrication au moment de l’achat initial, et ce pour une durée d’un (1)

L’auricolare Bluetooth™
HBH-65 è una soluzione portatile

La tecnologia wireless Bluetooth consente di collegare

di tecnologia si basa sul collegamento via radio che
permette la trasmissione di voce e dati in modo rapido
e affidabile. Per stabilire le comunicazioni non
è necessario che l’auricolare si trovi in vista del
dispositivo a cui è collegato. La tecnologia wireless
Bluetooth utilizza tutta la gamma di frequenze
disponibili per assicurare la compatibilità delle
comunicazioni a livello mondiale.

Come utilizzare l’auricolare

È possibile collegare l’auricolare HBH-65 al telefono
portatile, al PC o a qualsiasi altro dispositivo con la
tecnologia wireless Bluetooth che supporti il profilo
Auricolare o quello Vivavoce. Questo manuale
descrive in che modo utilizzare l’auricolare con il
telefono portatile. È necessario disporre di un telefono
con tecnologia wireless Bluetooth incorporata oppure
un telefono a cui è collegato un adattatore Bluetooth.
Quando l’auricolare è collegato al telefono portatile,
è possibile utilizzare la selezione vocale per effettuare
le chiamate, se il telefono supporta tale funzione.
Il telefono può essere riposto nella tasca o in una borsa.
È possibile effettuare o ricevere chiamate e regolare il
volume di ascolto utilizzando i pulsanti dell’auricolare.

Guida introduttiva

Prima di utilizzare l’auricolare, è necessario
innanzitutto effettuare la seguente procedura.

Al termine della ricarica, se l’auricolare è spento la
spia luminosa è accesa con luce verde fissa, mentre se
è acceso la spia luminosa lampeggia in colore verde.

Caricamento della batteria

L’auricolare viene fornito con una batteria ricaricabile

la batteria (il colore della spia luminosa deve essere

Utilizzo dell’auricolare

Dopo aver abbinato l’auricolare al telefono, è possibile

Nessun contatto audio tra l’auricolare
eiltelefono

L’auricolare, per poter essere riconosciuto, deve essere
abbinato al telefono con il quale si desidera utilizzarlo.

Inoltre, i due dispositivi devono essere all’interno
dei rispettivi raggi di copertura. Accertarsi che fra
il telefono e l’auricolare non vi siano oggetti solidi,
quali pareti o mobili.

La spia luminosa lampeggia in colore rosso

Ciò indica che la batteria dell’auricolare dispone
ancora di un tempo di autonomia limitato. Ricaricare
la batteria per circa 1 - 1,5 ore.

La spia luminosa emette due lampeggiamenti in colore verde

In modalità standby, la spia luminosa potrebbe
lampeggiare velocemente due volte in verde,
a intervalli di circa 3 secondi.
Ciò indica che non vi sono reti all’interno del raggio
di copertura. Spostarsi fino a ottenere un segnale
di intensità sufficiente o provare a selezionare una
nuova rete nel menu Reti GSM del telefono.

L’auricolare si spegne automaticamente

L’auricolare si spegne automaticamente per due
ragioni:

• La batteria è scarica. La spia luminosa dell’auricolare
lampeggia in rosso e viene emesso un segnale acustico
a tonalità bassa. Ricaricare la batteria per circa
1 - 1,5 ore.

• L’auricolare è stato sottoposto a una temperatura
estrema. Tenere l’auricolare a temperatura ambiente
per alcuni minuti e riaccenderlo.

• L’auricolare è stato tenuto in modalità di abbinamento
per più di 10 minuti.

I comandi vocali non funzionano correttamente

Se non si riesce a utilizzare i comandi vocali registrati
con il telefono, provare a registrarli di nuovo

Ricarica durante una chiamata

Questo auricolare Bluetooth è un dispositivo ricetrasmittente radio.

Informazioni sulle batterie

Se impiegata in modo corretto, una batteria ricaricabile può durare
a lungo.

È possibile che una nuova batteria o una che non è stata usata per

Non esporre la batteria a temperature elevate, ovvero superiori a +55°C.
Per ottenere prestazioni ottimali, utilizzare la batteria a temperatura

incaricati della rimozione e sostituzione delle batterie si occuperanno

Garanzia limitata

In conformità alle condizioni della presente Garanzia Limitata,
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB (Sony Ericsson), S-221 88
Lund, Sweden garantisce che il prodotto al momento dell’acquisto, e per

如果在通话过程中失去了与头戴耳机的连接，
请按话机上的

YES 键将通话转移到话机中，

否则 30 秒后通话会断开。

头戴耳机电池状态

在待机模式中头戴耳机打开的情况下，按下并释

紧急电话

重要事项！

本 Bluetooth 头戴耳机和连接到免提式装置的电子装置均使用无线
