Before operating the system, please read this guide thoroughly and retain it for future reference.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of fire, do not cover the ventilation opening of the appliance with newspapers, tablecloths, curtains, etc. Do not expose the appliance to naked flame sources (for example, lighted candles).

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to dripping or splashing, and do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the appliance.

As the main plug is used to disconnect the unit from the mains, connect the unit to an easily accessible AC outlet. Should you notice an abnormality in the unit, disconnect the main plug from the AC outlet immediately.

Do not install the appliance in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet.

The unit is not disconnected from the mains as long as it is connected to the AC outlet, even if the unit itself has been turned off.

Troubleshooting

If error code and “CHECK MANUAL” flashes on the display

Immediately unplug the AC power cord (mains lead), and check if anything is blocking the ventilation openings of the unit. After you have checked and found no problems, reconnect the AC power cord (mains lead), and turn on the system. If the issue persists, contact your nearest Sony dealer.

Precautions

When carrying the unit

To avoid damaging the disc mechanism, perform the following procedure before carrying the unit.

Use the controls on the unit to perform this operation.

1 Press  to turn on the system. 2 Touch FUNCTION repeatedly to select “DVD/CD”. 3 Remove the disc.

Touch  to open and close the disc tray. Wait until “NO DISC” appears on the display.

4 Press  to turn off the system. 5 After “STANDBY” disappears, unplug the AC power cord (mains

lead).

Notes on discs

•Before playing, wipe the disc with a cleaning cloth from the center outward to the edge.

•Do not clean discs with solvents, such as benzine, thinner, or commercially available cleaners or anti-static spray intended for vinyl LPs.

•Do not expose discs to direct sunlight or heat sources such as hot air ducts, nor leave them in a car parked in direct sunlight.

On safety

•Completely disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet (mains) if it is not going to be used for an extended period of time. When unplugging the system, always grip the plug. Never pull the cord itself.

•Should any solid object or liquid get into the system, unplug the system, and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating it again.

•AC power cord (mains lead) must be changed only at the qualified service shop.

On handling the system

•Do not splash water on the unit on purpose. Dust and drip proof performance is improved by the flat top structure of the unit, but this is not guaranteed for all the situations. If you accidentally splash liquid on the unit, wipe off immediately.

•To maintain the dust and drip proof performance, make sure all the covers of the jacks/port/terminal are securely closed.

On placement

•Do not place the system in an inclined position or in locations that are extremely hot, cold, dusty, dirty, or humid or lacking adequate ventilation, or subject to vibration, direct sunlight or a bright light.

•Be careful when placing the system on surfaces that have been specially treated (for example, wax, oil, polish) as staining or discoloration of the surface may result.

•If the system is brought directly from a cold to a warm location or is placed in a very damp room, moisture may condense on the lens inside the unit, and cause the system to malfunction. In this situation, remove the disc, and leave the system turned on for about an hour until the moisture evaporates.

On heat buildup

•Heat buildup on the unit during operation is normal and is not a cause for alarm.

•Do not touch the cabinet if it has been used continuously at a high volume because the cabinet may have become hot.

•Do not obstruct the ventilation holes.

On the speaker system

The built-in speaker system is not magnetically shielded, and the picture on nearby TV sets may become magnetically distorted. In this situation, turn off the TV, wait 15 to 30 minutes, and turn it back on. If there is no improvement, move the system far away from the TV.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Caution: If you leave a still video image or on-screen display image displayed

on your TV for an extended period of time via this system, you risk permanent damage to your TV screen. Projection TVs are especially susceptible to this.

Cleaning the cabinet

Clean this system with a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of abrasive pad, scouring powder, or solvent, such as thinner, benzine, or alcohol.

On BLUETOOTH® communication

•BLUETOOTH devices should be used within approximately 10 meters (unobstructed distance) of each other. The effective communication range may become shorter under the following conditions:

– When a person, metal object, wall or other obstruction is between the devices

with a BLUETOOTH connection. – Locations where a wireless LAN is installed. – Around microwave ovens that are in use. – Locations where other electromagnetic waves are generated.

•BLUETOOTH devices and wireless LAN (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) equipment use the same frequency band (2.4GHz). When using your BLUETOOTH device near a device with wireless LAN capability, electromagnetic interference may occur. This could result in lower data transfer rates, noise, or inability to connect. If this happens, try the following remedies:

– Use this system at least 10 meters away from the wireless LAN equipment. – Turn off the power of the wireless LAN equipment when using your

BLUETOOTH device within 10 meters.

– Use this system and BLUETOOTH device as closer to each other as possible.

•The radio waves broadcast by this system may interfere with the operation of some medical devices. Since this interference may result in malfunction, always turn off the power on this system and BLUETOOTH device in the following locations:

– In hospitals, on trains, in airplanes, at gas stations, and any place where

flammable gases may be present.

– Near automatic doors or fire alarms.

•This system supports security functions that comply with BLUETOOTH specifications to ensure secure connections during communication using BLUETOOTH technology. However, this security may be insufficient depending on the setting contents and other factors, so always be careful when performing communication using BLUETOOTH technology.

•Sony cannot be held liable in any way for damages or other loss resulting from information leaks during communication using BLUETOOTH technology.

•BLUETOOTH communication is not necessarily guaranteed with all BLUETOOTH devices that have the same profile as this system.

•BLUETOOTH devices connected with this system must comply with the BLUETOOTH specification prescribed by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc., and must be certified to comply. However, even when a device complies with the BLUETOOTH specification, there may be cases where the characteristics or specifications of the BLUETOOTH device make it impossible to connect, or may result in different control methods, display or operation.

•Noise may occur or the audio may cut off depending on the BLUETOOTH device connected with this system, the communications environment, or surrounding conditions.

Depending on the status of the system, the voice guidance outputs from the system as follows:

•When setting the system to the pairing mode: “BLUETOOTH pairing”

Précautions

Lors du transport de l’appareil

Pour ne pas endommager le mécanisme du disque, exécutez la procédure suivante avant de transporter l’appareil.

Utilisez les commandes de l’appareil pour effectuer cette opération.

1 Appuyez sur  pour allumer le système. 2 Touchez plusieurs fois FUNCTION pour sélectionner «DVD/CD». 3 Retirez le disque.

Touchez  pour ouvrir et fermer le plateau de disque. Attendez que «NO DISC» apparaisse sur l’afficheur.

4 Appuyez sur  pour éteindre le système. 5 Une fois que «STANDBY» a disparu, débranchez le cordon

d’alimentation secteur.

Remarques sur disques

•Avant la lecture, nettoyez le disque avec un chiffon en allant du centre vers le bord.

•Ne nettoyez pas les disques avec des solvants, par exemple des diluants à l’essence, ou des produits de nettoyage ou des vaporisateurs anti-statiques disponibles dans le commerce destinés aux disques vinyle.

•N’exposez pas les disques aux rayons du soleil ou à des sources de chaleur tels que des conduits de chauffage et ne les laissez pas dans une voiture directement garée au soleil.

Sécurité

•Si vous ne prévoyez pas d’utiliser l’appareil pendant une période prolongée, débranchez complètement le cordon d’alimentation secteur de la prise murale. Lorsque vous débranchez le système, saisissez toujours la prise. Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon proprement dit.

•Si un objet ou un liquide venait à pénétrer dans le système, débranchez ce dernier et faites-le vérifier par un technicien qualifié avant de le réutiliser.

•Le cordon d’alimentation secteur ne doit être remplacé que dans un centre de service après-vente qualifié.

À propos de la manipulation du système

•Ne renversez pas d’eau sur l’appareil. La résistance aux poussières et l’étanchéité à l’eau est améliorée par la structure supérieure plate de l’appareil, mais cela n’est pas garanti pour toutes les situations. Si vous renversez par inadvertance du liquide sur l’appareil, nettoyez-le immédiatement.

•Pour préserver la résistance aux poussières et l’étanchéité à l’eau, assurez-vous que les prises/ports/bornes soient fermement fermés.

Lieu d’installation

•Ne placez pas le système en position inclinée ou à des endroits extrêmement chauds, froids, poussiéreux, sales, humides, insuffisamment aérés, sujets à vibration ou exposés aux rayons du soleil ou à une lumière vive.

•Prenez garde lorsque vous placez le système sur des surfaces ayant subi un traitement spécial (p. ex. cire, huile, polish), car leur surface risque de se tâcher ou de se décolorer.

•Si le système est directement déplacé d’un environnement froid à un environnement chaud, ou s’il est placé dans une salle très humide, l’humidité peut se condenser sur la lentille qui se trouve à l’intérieur de l’appareil, provoquant alors le dysfonctionnement de ce dernier. Dans ce cas, retirez le disque et laissez le système allumé pendant une heure environ jusqu’à ce que s’évapore l’humidité.

Accumulation de chaleur

•Il est normal que s’accumule la chaleur sur l’appareil pendant son fonctionnement. Il n’y a pas à s’en préoccuper.

•Ne touchez pas le boîtier si l’appareil a été utilisé en permanence à un volume élevé, car il risque d’être chaud.

•N’obstruez pas les orifices d’aération.

Système d’enceintes

Le système d’enceintes intégrées ne fournit pas de protection contre les interférences magnétiques et l’image sur les téléviseurs installés à proximité peut se déformer. Dans ce cas, éteignez le téléviseur, patientez 15 à 30 minutes, puis rallumez le téléviseur. Si vous n’observez aucune amélioration, éloignez le système du téléviseur.

AVIS IMPORTANT

Attention: Si vous laissez une image vidéo fixe ou une image affichée sur

l’écran de votre téléviseur pendant une période prolongée, vous risqueriez d’endommager définitivement l’écran de votre téléviseur. Les téléviseurs à projection sont particulièrement susceptibles à ce phénomène.

Nettoyage du boîtier

Nettoyez ce système avec un chiffon doux légèrement imbibé d’une solution détergente douce. N’utilisez pas de tampons abrasifs, de poudres à récurer ou de solvants, tels que du diluant, de l’essence ou de l’alcool.

À propos de la communication BLUETOOTH®

•Les périphériques BLUETOOTH doivent être utilisés à une distance approximative de 10mètres (distance sans obstacle) les uns des autres. La portée de communication effective peut être plus courte dans les conditions suivantes:

– Quand une personne, un objet métallique, un mur ou tout autre obstruction

se trouve entre les périphériques connectés via BLUETOOTH. – Emplacements où est installé un réseau LAN sans fil. – Autour d’un four micro-ondes en cours d’utilisation. – Emplacements où sont générées d’autres ondes électromagnétiques.

Desenchufe inmediatamente el cable de alimentación de ca y compruebe si algún objeto está obstruyendo los orificios de ventilación de la unidad. Si tras realizar las comprobaciones necesarias no se ha detectado ningún problema, vuelva a conectar el cable de alimentación de ca y encienda el sistema. Si el problema continúa, póngase en contacto con el distribuidor de Sony más cercano.

Precauciones

Cuando transporte la unidad

Para evitar que el mecanismo del disco se averíe, realice el siguiente procedimiento antes de transportar la unidad.

Utilice los controles de la unidad para realizar esta operación.

1 Pulse  para encender el sistema. 2 Toque FUNCTION varias veces para seleccionar “DVD/CD”. 3 Extraiga el disco.

Toque  para abrir y cerrar la bandeja de discos. Espere hasta que “NO DISC” aparezca en el visor.

4 Pulse  para apagar el sistema. 5 Una vez que desaparezca el “STANDBY”, desenchufe el cable de

alimentación de ca.

Notas sobre discos

•Antes de reproducirlos, limpie el disco con un trapo desde el centro hacia el borde.

•No limpie discos con disolventes, como diluyente o limpiadores disponibles en el mercado o spray antiestático para LP de vinilo.

•No exponga los discos a la luz directa del sol o fuentes de calor como conductos de aire caliente, ni los deje en el interior de un coche aparcado a la luz directa del sol.

Seguridad

•Desconecte el cable de alimentación de ca de la toma de corriente de la pared si no va a utilizar el sistema durante un periodo largo de tiempo. Cuando desenchufe el sistema, hágalo siempre agarrando el enchufe. Nunca tire del cable.

•Si cae dentro del sistema algún objeto sólido o líquido, desenchúfelo y deje que personal cualificado lo compruebe antes de utilizarlo de nuevo.

•El cable de alimentación de ca debe ser sustituido únicamente en un taller de servicio cualificado.

Sobre el manejo del sistema

•Evite el contacto de la unidad con el agua. La resistencia al polvo y al agua se ha mejorado gracias a la superficie plana de la unidad, aunque no está garantizado que funcione en todas las situaciones. Si la unidad se moja accidentalmente con algún líquido, séquela de inmediato.

•Para mantener la resistencia al polvo y al agua, asegúrese de que todas las tapas de las tomas/puertos/terminales estén bien cerradas.

Colocación

•No coloque el sistema en una posición inclinada o en ubicaciones extremadamente calientes, frías, polvorientas, sucias, húmedas o sin ventilación adecuada, o sujetas a vibración, luz directa del sol o luz intensa.

•Tenga cuidado si coloca el sistema sobre superficies que tengan un tratamiento especial (por ejemplo, ceras, aceites, abrillantador), ya que pueden aparecer manchas o producir decoloración en la superficie.

•Si el sistema se traslada directamente desde una ubicación fría a una caliente o si se coloca en una habitación muy húmeda, la humedad se puede condensar en la lente del interior de la unidad y producir fallos de funcionamiento. En esta situación extraiga el disco y deje el sistema encendido cerca de una hora hasta que la humedad de evapore.

Acumulación de calor

•La acumulación de calor en la unidad durante su funcionamiento es normal y no debe ser causa de alarma.

•No toque el gabinete si se ha usado de manera continuada a un volumen alto, ya que el gabinete puede haberse calentado mucho.

•No obstruya los orificios de ventilación.

El sistema de altavoces

El sistema de altavoces no está magnéticamente apantallado y la imagen de los televisores del entorno pueden distorsionarse magnéticamente. En esta situación, apague el televisor, espere entre 15 y 30 minutos y enciéndalo de nuevo. Si no hay mejoría, aleje el sistema del televisor.

AVISO IMPORTANTE

Precaución: Si las imágenes fijas de vídeo o las indicaciones en pantalla

permanecen en el televisor durante mucho tiempo a través de este sistema, podrían dañar la pantalla del televisor permanentemente. Los televisores proyectores son especialmente sensibles a este problema.

Limpieza del gabinete

Limpie el sistema con un paño suave humedecido ligeramente con una solución de detergente suave. No utilice ningún tipo de estropajos abrasivos, polvo desengrasante ni disolventes, como diluyente, bencina o alcohol.

Acerca de la comunicación BLUETOOTH®

•Los dispositivos BLUETOOTH deben usarse aproximadamente a una distancia de 10 metros (separación libre de obstáculos). El alcance de comunicación efectiva puede ser menor en las siguientes condiciones:

– Cuando una persona, objeto metálico, pared u otros obstáculos se encuentra

entre los dispositivos conectados mediante BLUETOOTH. – Lugares donde hay instalada una LAN inalámbrica. – Cerca de hornos microondas en funcionamiento. – Lugares donde se producen otras ondas electromagnéticas.

Wenn Sie das Einheit transportieren

Um Beschädigungen des Disc-Mechanismus zu vermeiden, führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, bevor Sie die Einheit transportieren.

Verwenden Sie die Bedienelemente an der Einheit, um diesen Vorgang auszuführen.

1 Drücken Sie , um das System einzuschalten. 2 Berühren Sie mehrmals FUNCTION, um „DVD/CD“ auszuwählen. 3 Nehmen Sie die Disc heraus.

Berühren Sie , um die Disc-Lade zu öffnen und zu schließen. Warten Sie, bis „NO DISC“ auf dem Display angezeigt wird.

4 Drücken Sie , um das System auszuschalten. 5 Wenn „STANDBY“ verlischt wird, trennen Sie das Netzkabel.

Hinweise zu Discs

•Wischen Sie die Disc vor der Wiedergabe mit einem Reinigungstuch von der Mitte nach außen ab.

•Reinigen Sie Discs nicht mit Lösungsmitteln, wie z. B. Benzin, Verdünnung, handelsüblichen Reinigungsmitteln oder Antistatiksprays für Vinyl-LPs.

•Setzen Sie Discs keinem direkten Sonnenlicht oder Wärmequellen, wie z. B. heißen Lüftungskanälen, aus, und lassen Sie sie auch nicht in einem in der direkten Sonne geparkten Auto liegen.

Info zur Sicherheit

•Trennen Sie das Netzkabel vollständig von der Wandsteckdose, wenn das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht verwendet werden soll. Fassen Sie immer den Stecker an, wenn Sie das Kabel vom System trennen. Ziehen Sie niemals am Kabel selbst.

•Sollte ein Fremdkörper oder Flüssigkeit in das System gelangen, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das System von qualifiziertem Fachpersonal überprüfen, bevor Sie es weiter verwenden.

•Das Netzkabel darf nur von einer qualifizierten Kundendienststelle ausgewechselt werden.

Info zum Umgang mit dem System

•Bespritzen Sie die Einheit nicht absichtlich mit Wasser. Der Staub- und Tropfwasserschutz wird durch die flache obere Struktur der Einheit verbessert, er wird jedoch nicht für alle Situationen garantiert. Wenn Sie versehentlich Flüssigkeit auf das Gerät spritzen, wischen Sie sie sofort ab.

•Um den Staub- und Tropfwasserschutz zu erhalten, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Abdeckungen aller Buchsen/Ports/Anschlüsse fest verschlossen sind.

Info zur Aufstellung

•Stellen Sie das System nicht geneigt und nicht an extrem heißen, kalten, staubigen, schmutzigen, feuchten oder schlecht belüfteten Orten auf, und halten Sie es von Schwingungen, direkter Sonneneinstrahlung sowie hellem Licht fern.

•Stellen Sie das System möglichst nicht auf Oberflächen, die speziell (z.B. mit Wachs, Öl, Politur usw.) behandelt wurden, da dies Fleckenbildung oder Verfärbung zur Folge haben könnte.

•Wenn das System direkt von einem kalten Ort an einen warmen Ort gebracht oder an einem sehr feuchten Raum aufgestellt wird, kann sich Feuchtigkeit an der Linse im Inneren des Geräts ablagern und zu Fehlfunktionen des Systems führen. Nehmen Sie in diesem Fall die Disc heraus und lassen das System etwa eine Stunde lang eingeschaltet, bis die Feuchtigkeit verdunstet ist.

Info zur Wärmeentwicklung

•Eine Wärmeentwicklung im Gerät während des Betriebs ist normal und kein Grund zur Beunruhigung.

•Berühren Sie nicht das Gehäuse, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit mit hoher Lautstärke verwendet wurde, da das Gehäuse evtl. heißgelaufen ist.

•Versperren Sie nicht die Belüftungsöffnungen.

Info zum Lautsprechersystem

Dieses eingebaute Lautsprechersystem ist nicht magnetisch abgeschirmt, sodass das Bild auf in der Nähe befindlichen Fernsehgeräten magnetisch gestört werden kann. Schalten Sie in diesem Fall das Fernsehgerät aus, warten Sie 15 bis 30Minuten, und schalten Sie es wieder ein. Wenn es keine Verbesserung gibt, stellen Sie das System weiter entfernt vom Fernsehgerät auf.

WICHTIGER HINWEIS

Vorsicht: Falls Sie ein Videostandbild oder ein On-Screen-Displaybild für

längere Zeit über dieses System auf Ihrem Fernsehgerät anzeigen, riskieren Sie eine dauerhafte Beschädigung Ihres Fernsehschirms. Projektionsfernsehgeräte sind besonders anfällig für dieses Problem.

Säubern des Gehäuses

Reinigen Sie dieses System mit einem weichen Tuch, das mit etwas milder Reinigungslösung angefeuchtet wurde. Verwenden Sie keine Scheuerschwämme, Scheuermittel oder Lösungsmittel, wie z. B. Verdünnung, Benzin oder Alkohol.

Info zur Datenübertragung per BLUETOOTH®

•BLUETOOTH-Geräte sollten (bei Hindernisfreiheit) in einem Abstand von ca. 10Metern zueinander verwendet werden. Der effektive Kommunikationsbereich kann unter folgenden Bedingungen kürzer werden:

– Wenn sich eine Person, ein Metallgegenstand, eine Wand oder ein anderes

Hindernis zwischen den Geräten mit BLUETOOTH-Verbindung befindet. – Orte, an denen ein WLAN installiert ist. – In der Nähe von in Betrieb befindlichen Mikrowellenherden. – Orte, an denen andere elektromagnetische Wellen erzeugt werden.

WAARSCHUWING

Dek de ventilatieopening van het apparaat niet af met kranten, tafelkleden en gordijnen enz. Zo kunt u het risico op brand verkleinen. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan open vuur (bijvoorbeeld brandende kaarsen).

Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan waterdruppels of spatten en plaats geen met vloeistof gevulde voorwerpen, zoals een vaas, op dit apparaat. Zo kunt u het risico op brand of elektrische schokken verkleinen.

Aangezien de stekker wordt gebruikt om het apparaat los te koppelen van de netvoeding, moet u het apparaat aansluiten op een gemakkelijk toegankelijk stopcontact. Als er een probleem optreedt met het apparaat, moet u de stekker van het apparaat onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact halen.

Koppel onmiddellijk het netsnoer van het stopcontact los en controleer of een voorwerp de ventilatieopeningen van het apparaat blokkeert. Als u na de controle geen problemen bent tegengekomen, dient u het netsnoer opnieuw in het stopcontact te steken en het systeem in te schakelen. Als het probleem blijft optreden, neemt u contact op met de dichtstbijzijnde Sony-dealer.

Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Bij het dragen van het apparaat

Voorkom het beschadigen van het discmechanisme en voer de volgende procedure uit voordat u het apparaat draagt.

Gebruik de bedieningselementen op het apparaat om deze handeling uit te voeren.

1 Druk op  om het systeem in te schakelen. 2 Raak herhaaldelijk FUNCTION aan om "DVD/CD" te selecteren. 3 Verwijder de disc.

Raak  aan om de disclade te openen of te sluiten. Wacht totdat "NO DISC" op het display wordt weergegeven.

4 Druk op  om het systeem uit te schakelen. 5 Haal de stekker van het netsnoer uit het stopcontact, nadat

"STANDBY" is verdwenen.

Opmerkingen op de discs

•Voordat u een disc gaat afspelen, dient u de disc schoon te vegen met een reinigingsdoek, vanaf het midden naar de buitenkant.

•Reinig de discs niet met oplosmiddelen zoals benzine, thinner, in de handel verkrijgbare reinigers of antistatische spray die bedoeld is voor LP's van vinyl.

•Stel de discs niet bloot aan direct zonlicht of warmtebronnen, zoals hete luchtkanalen, en laat de discs ook niet achter in een voertuig dat in de volle zon geparkeerd is.

Veiligheid

•Koppel het netsnoer volledig los van het stopcontact als u het apparaat gedurende een langere periode niet gebruikt. Als u het systeem loskoppelt, pak dan altijd de stekker vast. Trek nooit aan de kabel.

•Als een voorwerp of vloeistof in het systeem terechtkomt, moet u het systeem loskoppelen en laten nakijken door bevoegde servicetechnici voordat u het apparaat weer gebruikt.

•Het netsnoer mag alleen door bevoegde servicetechnici worden vervangen.

Het systeem gebruiken

•Spuit niet expres water op het apparaat. De stof- en druppelvrije prestatie is verbeterd door de vlakke bovenstructuur van het apparaat, maar dit is geen garantie voor alle situaties. Als u per ongeluk vloeistof morst op het apparaat, veeg de vloeistof er dan onmiddellijk vanaf.

•Om de stof- en druppelvrije prestatie te waarborgen, dient u ervoor te zorgen dat alle afdekkingen van de jackaansluitingen/poorten/aansluitingen goed en stevig zijn afgesloten.

Plaatsing

•Zet het systeem niet in een schuine stand neer of op plaatsen waar het extreem heet, koud, stoffig, vuil of vochtig is. Ook dient u het apparaat niet op een plek neer te zetten die slecht wordt geventileerd, blootstaat aan trillingen, direct zonlicht of fel licht.

•Ga voorzichtig te werk als u het systeem op speciaal behandelde oppervlakken (bijv. met was of olie behandeld, gepolijst) plaatst, anders kunnen er vlekken of verkleuringen optreden.

•Als het systeem van een koude naar een warme locatie wordt verplaatst of in een ruimte wordt geplaatst met veel stoom, kan het vocht op de lens in de unit condenseren en een defect aan het systeem veroorzaken. In dit geval dient u de disc te verwijderen en het systeem ongeveer een uur ingeschakeld te laten totdat het vocht verdampt is.

Warm worden

•Het warm worden van het apparaat tijdens de werking is normaal en geen reden om contact op te nemen met het servicecentrum.

•Raak de behuizing niet aan als het apparaat continue op een hoog volume is gebruikt, de behuizing kan daardoor heet zijn geworden.

•Dek de ventilatie-openingen niet af.

Het luidsprekersysteem

Het ingebouwde luidsprekersysteem is niet magnetisch afgeschermd en de afbeeldingen op de televisies in de buurt kunnen daardoor magnetisch vervormen. In dit geval dient u de televisie uit te schakelen, 15 tot 30 minuten te wachten en vervolgens de televisie weer in te schakelen. Als er geen verbetering optreedt, dient u het systeem verder van de televisie te plaatsen.

BELANGRIJKE OPMERKING

Let op: Als het stilstaand videobeeld of de beeldschermafbeelding gedurende

een langere tijdsperiode op uw televisie wordt weergegeven via dit systeem, kan uw televisiescherm permanent beschadigen. Met name projectietelevisies zijn hier zeer gevoelig voor.

De behuizing reinigen

Reinig dit systeem met een zachte doek die licht is bevochtigd met een mild zeepsopje. Gebruik geen schuursponsje, schuurpoeder of oplosmiddel zoals thinner, benzine of alcohol.

BLUETOOTH®-communicatie

•BLUETOOTH-apparaten dienen binnen ongeveer 10 meter (zonder obstructies) van elkaar gebruikt te worden. Het effectieve communicatiebereik wordt korter bij de volgende omstandigheden:

– Als een persoon, metalen object, muur of andere obstructie tussen de

apparaten met een BLUETOOTH-verbinding staat. – Locaties waar een draadloze LAN geïnstalleerd is. – In de buurt van magnetrons die in gebruik zijn. – Locaties waar andere elektromagnetische golven gegenereerd worden.

•BLUETOOTH-apparaten en draadloze LAN (IEEE 802.11b/g/n)-apparatuur gebruiken dezelfde frequentieband (2,4GHz). Als u uw BLUETOOTH-apparaat in de buurt van een apparaat gebruikt met draadloze LAN-mogelijkheid, kan er elektromagnetische storing ontstaan. Dit kan resulteren in lagere gegevensoverdrachtsnelheden of het onvermogen om verbinding te maken. Als dit zich voordoet dient u de volgende oplossingen te proberen:

– Gebruik dit systeem op minstens 10 meter afstand van de draadloze

LAN-apparatuur.

– Schakel het draadloze LAN-apparaat uit als het BLUETOOTH-apparaat binnen

10 meter wordt gebruikt.

– Gebruik dit systeem en dit BLUETOOTH-apparaat zo dicht mogelijk bij elkaar in

de buurt.

•De radiogolven die dit systeem uitzendt kunnen storing in de werking van enkele medische apparaten veroorzaken. Aangezien deze storing in een defect kan resulteren, dient u altijd in de volgende locaties de voeding van dit systeem en het BLUETOOTH-apparaat uit te schakelen:

– In ziekenhuizen, treinen, vliegtuigen, bij tankstations en andere plaatsen waar

ontvlambare gassen aanwezig kunnen zijn.

– In de buurt van automatische deuren of brandalarmen.

•Dit systeem ondersteunt de veiligheidsfuncties die aan de BLUETOOTHspecificatie voldoen, om voor veilige verbindingen te zorgen tijdens de communicatie met BLUETOOTH-technologie. Deze beveiliging kan echter, afhankelijk van de content en andere factoren, niet voldoende zijn, dus ben altijd voorzichtig als u een communicatie uitvoert met BLUETOOTH-technologie.

•Sony kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor schade of andere verliezen die voortvloeien uit een informatielek tijdens communicatie met BLUETOOTHtechnologie.

•BLUETOOTH-communicatie wordt niet per definitie gegarandeerd met alle BLUETOOTH-apparaten die hetzelfde profiel als dit systeem hebben.

•BLUETOOTH-apparaten die met dit systeem verbonden zijn moeten aan de BLUETOOTH-specificatie voldoen, voorgeschreven door Bluetooth SIG, Inc., en moeten gecertificeerd zijn. •Afhankelijk van het BLUETOOTH-apparaat dat met dit systeem is verbonden, de communicatie-omgeving of de omgevingscondities kan er storing ontstaan of de audio onderbroken worden.
