Uso previsto
El teclado Bluetooth® es un aparato de tecnología de la información y sirve
como dispositivo de introducción para Apple iPad Air. Además, el teclado también se puede utilizar como protector de pantalla. Este aparato no está previsto
para ser utilizado en empresas ni para uso comercial (p. ej., uso en oficinas).
Utilice el aparato exclusivamente en el ámbito doméstico y con fines destinados
al uso privado. Cualquier uso diferente o que supere lo indicado se considerará
contrario al uso previsto. Se excluyen las reclamaciones de cualquier tipo en
relación con los daños causados por un uso contrario al uso previsto. El riesgo
será responsabilidad exclusiva del usuario. Tenga siempre presente las disposiciones y leyes del país de uso.

Seguridad
En este capítulo, obtendrá indicaciones de seguridad importantes para manejar
el aparato. Este aparato cumple las normas de seguridad prescritas. Un uso
inadecuado puede causar lesiones personales y daños materiales.
Indicaciones de seguridad básicas
Para manejar con seguridad el aparato, deben tenerse en cuenta las siguientes
indicaciones de seguridad:
■ Este aparato puede ser utilizado por niños a partir de 8años y por personas
cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales sean reducidas o carezcan de
los conocimientos y de la experiencia necesaria siempre que sean vigilados o
hayan sido instruidos correctamente sobre el uso seguro del aparato y hayan
comprendido los peligros que entraña. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato.
Los niños no deben realizar las tareas de limpieza y mantenimiento del aparato
sin supervisión.
■ Antes de usar el aparato, compruebe si hay signos de daños externos visibles.
No utilice un aparato dañado o que se haya caído.
■ Coloque el aparato sobre una superficie estable y plana. Si el aparato se cae,
podría sufrir daños.
■ No exponga el aparato a la luz solar directa ni a temperaturas elevadas.
De lo contrario, podría sobrecalentarse y dañarse de modo irreparable.
■ No coloque el producto cerca de fuentes de calor, como calefactores u otros
aparatos generadores de calor.
■ No utilice el aparato en la proximidad de llamas abiertas (p. ej., velas).
■ El aparato no está concebido para funcionar en estancias con altas temperaturas
o fuerte presencia de humedad ambiental (p. ej., cuartos de baño) o con gran
acumulación de polvo.
■ No abra nunca la carcasa del teclado. El aparato no cuenta con ningún compo-
nente susceptible de mantenimiento o que el usuario deba cambiar.
■ No realice cambios ni transformaciones por cuenta propia en el aparato.
■ Las reparaciones en el aparato deben ser realizadas exclusivamente por talleres
autorizados o por el servicio de asistencia técnica. En caso de reparaciones
indebidas, pueden producirse riesgos para los usuarios. Además, se anulará la
garantía.
■ No exponga al aparato a gotas o salpicaduras de agua y no coloque objetos
llenos de líquidos, como jarrones o bebidas abiertas, sobre el aparato o junto a él.
■ Apague inmediatamente el aparato y extraiga el cable de carga que pueda
estar conectado en caso de que se detecte olor a quemado o aparezca humo.
Encargue la revisión del aparato a un técnico cualificado antes de volver a
utilizarlo.

■ Si se utiliza una fuente de alimentación externa USB, la toma deberá ser siempre
de fácil acceso, a fin de poder retirar esta fuente de alimentación USB rápidamente de la toma en caso de darse una situación peligrosa. Observe también
las instrucciones de uso de la fuente de alimentación USB.
■
¡PELIGRO! Un manejo erróneo de las baterías puede provocar incendios,
explosiones, fugas de sustancias peligrosas y otras situaciones de peligro.
No arroje el aparato al fuego, ya que la batería integrada puede explotar.
■
¡PELIGRO! ¡Los materiales de embalaje no son un juguete! Mantenga los
materiales de embalaje fuera del alcance de los niños.
Existe peligro de asfixia.
■ El trabajo con teclados puede ocasionar problemas para la salud. Recomendamos
trabajar haciendo pausas periódicas.
Indicaciones sobre la interfaz de radio
■ Desconecte el aparato si se encuentra en un avión, hospital, quirófano o cerca
de un sistema electrónico médico. Las ondas de radio transmitidas pueden
mermar el funcionamiento de aparatos sensibles.
■ El aparato debe mantenerse alejado como mínimo 20 cm de marcapasos, ya que,
de lo contrario, las ondas de radio podrían alterar un normal funcionamiento del
marcapasos.
■ Las ondas de radio transmitidas pueden causar interferencias en aparatos de
audición.
■ No acerque el aparato con el componente de radio encendido a gases inflama-
bles ni a ambientes susceptibles de explosión (p. ej., taller de pintura), ya que las
ondas de radio transmitidas pueden causar una explosión o incendio.
■ El alcance de las ondas de radio depende de las condiciones del entorno y del
ambiente.
■ La transmisión de datos a través de una comunicación inalámbrica permite que
también reciban estos datos terceras personas no autorizadas.

Puesta en funcionamiento
Comprobación del volumen de suministro

El volumen de suministro consta de los siguientes componentes:
▯ Teclado Bluetooth
▯ Cable de carga
▯ Estas instrucciones de uso
♦ Extraiga del embalaje todas las piezas del aparato y deseche todo el material
de embalaje.
INDICACIÓN
► Compruebe la integridad del suministro y si hay daños visibles.
► Si el suministro está incompleto o se observan daños debido a un embalaje
deficiente o al transporte, póngase en contacto con la línea directa de
asistencia (consulte el capítulo Asistencia técnica).
Desecho del embalaje
El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de embalaje
se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos y de desecho, por lo
que es reciclable.
El reciclaje del embalaje permite ahorrar en materias primas y reduce el volumen
de residuos. Deseche el material de embalaje innecesario de la forma dispuesta
por las normativas locales aplicables.

Carga de la batería
Antes de utilizar el teclado, la batería integrada debe estar totalmente cargada.
♦ Conecte el conector USB del cable de carga al ordenador o a una fuente de
alimentación USB.
♦ Conecte el conector Micro-USB del cable de carga a la clavija de carga
teclado. El LED de carga se ilumina en naranja y la batería se carga.
Tras haberla cargado por completo, el LED de carga se apaga.
INDICACIÓN
► El tiempo de carga máximo comprende unas 3 horas.
► Si el LED de carga parpadea de forma constante, la batería está agotada
y tiene que cargarse.
► Si conecta el teclado encendido a un ordenador, aparece el mensaje
"No se reconoce el dispositivo USB". Esto no supone ningún fallo, ya que el
teclado se ha concebido solo para iPads de Apple y no se puede utilizar
con un ordenador.

Manejo y funcionamiento
En este capítulo, se proporcionan indicaciones importantes sobre el manejo y
funcionamiento del aparato.
Colocación del iPad
El teclado dispone de un soporte para iPad en el que puede colocar su iPad
en posición horizontal o vertical (véanse las figs. A + B).
ATENCIÓN
► Si coloca el iPad en vertical, cerciórese de que quede asegurado con
ambos pivotes del soporte
¡De lo contrario, podría volcarse!
Utilizar el teclado como protector de pantalla
♦ Retire el iPad del soporte (véase la fig.C).
♦ Gire el iPad con la pantalla hacia abajo de modo que la tecla de inicio se
encuentre a la derecha.
♦ Coloque el iPad sobre el teclado de tal modo que sobresalga bajo los pivotes
de soporte posteriores y bájelo (véase la fig.D).
♦ Para retirar el iPad, tire de él hacia arriba por la ranura delantera del teclado.
Encender/apagar el teclado
♦ Coloque el interruptor de encendido/apagado en la posición I para encender
el teclado y activar la función Bluetooth®. El LED de conexión se ilumina
durante 2 segundos.
♦ Coloque el interruptor de encendido/apagado
el teclado y desactivar la función Bluetooth®.

Establecer la conexión con un iPad
Para poder utilizar el teclado, deberá acoplarlo antes a un iPad compatible.
♦ Active en su iPad la conexión de Bluetooth
Bluetooth®. Encontrará una descripción detallada al respecto en las instrucciones
de uso de su iPad.
♦ Conecte el teclado con el interruptor de encendido/apagado
conexión se ilumina durante 2 segundos.
♦ Pulse la tecla de conexión CONNECT
durante 3 minutos. El LED de conexión parpadea por segundos hasta que se
haya establecido la conexión.
♦ Seleccione en la lista de los dispositivos detectados de su iPad la entrada
STBA6A1.

Las teclas de la fila superior están reservadas para funciones especiales. De

dependiendo de la versión de iOS, puede que no todas las teclas especiales
ejecuten la función descrita.

Búsqueda de errores
Si no puede acoplar el teclado a un iPad compatible o en caso de que no reaccione a ninguna introducción, proceda como sigue:
♦ Compruebe el estado de carga de la batería y cárguela de ser necesario.
♦ Cerciórese de que el teclado esté conectado.
♦ Compruebe si en su iPad está activada la interfaz de Bluetooth
♦ En caso de que utilice varios dispositivos Bluetooth
activada una conexión anterior. Es posible que uno de los aparatos conectados
anteriormente se encuentre dentro del ámbito de alcance.
♦ Cerciórese también de que el teclado esté como máximo a 8 metros de distancia
del iPad y de que no haya obstáculos ni dispositivos electrónicos entre ellos.
Si las teclas de función del teclado no tienen función asignada o es incorrecta,
compruebe si está ajustado el idioma correcto del teclado (en las instrucciones de
uso de su iPad encontrará una descripción detallada al respecto).

► Si no logra solucionar el problema con los pasos indicados, póngase en
contacto con la línea directa de asistencia (consulte el capítulo Asistencia
técnica).
Limpieza

No hay piezas en el interior del teclado que deban limpiarse o mantenerse.
Si penetra humedad, pueden producirse daños en el aparato.
► Durante la limpieza, asegúrese de que no penetre humedad en el aparato
para evitar daños irreparables.
► No utilice productos de limpieza con abrasivos, cáusticos o con disolventes,
ya que podrían dañar la superficie del aparato.
♦ Limpie el aparato únicamente con un paño ligeramente humedecido con un
producto de limpieza suave.

Desecho
Desecho del aparato
El símbolo adyacente de un contenedor de basura tachado y con ruedas indica
que este aparato se somete a lo dispuesto por la Directiva 2012/19/EU. Dicha
Directiva estipula que el aparato no debe desecharse con la basura doméstica
normal al finalizar su vida útil, sino en puntos de recogida, puntos limpios o
empresas de desechos previstas especialmente para ello.
Este tipo de desecho es gratuito. Cuide el medio ambiente y
deseche el aparato de la manera adecuada.
Para obtener más información al respecto, póngase en contacto con las instalaciones locales de desechos o con las administraciones públicas competentes.

servicio habitual. Éste es el único modo de garantizar un envío gratuito.
ADVERTENCIA

el uso industrial. En caso de manipulación indebida e incorrecta, uso de la fuerza

Messa in funzione

Il volume di fornitura comprende i seguenti componenti:

♦ Prelevare tutti i componenti dell'apparecchio dall'imballo e rimuovere tutto il
materiale di imballaggio.
AVVERTENZA
► Controllare se la fornitura è integra e se presenta danni visibili.
► In caso di fornitura incompleta o in presenza di danni da trasporto o da
imballaggio inadeguato, rivolgersi alla hotline di assistenza (vedere capitolo
Assistenza).
Smaltimento della confezione
L'imballaggio protegge l'apparecchio dai danni da trasporto. I materiali di
imballaggio sono stati selezionati in relazione alla loro ecocompatibilità e alle
caratteristiche di smaltimento e pertanto sono riciclabili.
Il riciclo dell'imballaggio consente di risparmiare materie prime e riduce la
generazione di rifiuti. Smaltire il materiale di imballaggio inutilizzato in conformità

Caricamento della batteria
Prima di utilizzare la tastiera occorre caricare completamente la batteria integrata.
♦ Collegare la spina USB del cavo di carica a un PC o a un alimentatore USB.
♦ Collegare il connettore Micro-USB del cavo di carica alla presa di carica
Il LED di segnalazione del caricamento si accende di arancione e la batteria
viene caricata. Dopo un caricamento completo il LED di segnalazione del caricamento si spegne.
AVVERTENZA
► Il tempo massimo di caricamento è di ca. 3 ore.
► Se il LED di segnalazione del caricamento lampeggia in modo fisso,
ciò significa che la batteria è esaurita e deve essere caricata.
► Quando si collega la tastiera accesa a un PC, compare il messaggio
"Dispositivo USB non riconosciuto". Non si tratta di un malfunzionamento,
in quanto la tastiera è concepita solo per Apple iPad e non può pertanto
essere utilizzata su un PC.

Comandi e funzionamento
In questo capitolo sono riportate indicazioni importanti relative ai comandi e al
funzionamento dell'apparecchio.
Posizionamento dell'iPad
La tastiera dispone di un supporto per iPad che consente di sistemare l'iPad
in posizione verticale od orizzontale (vedere figureA + B).
ATTENZIONE
► Se si colloca l'iPad in posizione verticale, badare che esso sia tenuto fermo
e stabile dai due perni del supporto per iPad
Pericolo di ribaltamento!
Utilizzo della tastiera per proteggere il display
♦ Prelevare l'iPad dal suo supporto (vedere figura C).
♦ Ruotare l'iPad con il display rivolto verso il basso in modo tale che il tasto
"Home" venga a trovarsi sul lato destro.
♦ Collocare l'iPad sulla tastiera in modo tale che sporga da sotto i perni di sostegno
posteriori e poi ribaltarlo verso il basso (vedere figuraD).
♦ Per prelevare l'iPad, ribaltarlo verso l'alto afferrandolo per la cavità anteriore
della tastiera.
Accensione / spegnimento della tastiera
♦ Per accendere la tastiera e attivare la funzione Bluetooth® portare l'interruttore
ON/OFF nella posizione I. Il LED di segnalazione del collegamento si
accende per 2 secondi.
♦ Per spegnere la tastiera e disattivare la funzione Bluetooth
ON/OFF nella posizione 0.

Collegamento con un iPad
Prima di poter usare la tastiera, la si deve associare a un iPad compatibile.
♦ Attivare sull'iPad la connessione Bluetooth

Ricerca dei guasti
Se non è possibile associare la tastiera a un iPad compatibile o se l'apparecchio
non reagisce agli input, procedere nel modo seguente:
♦ Verificare lo stato di carica della batteria e all'occorrenza caricarla.
♦ Sincerarsi che la tastiera sia accesa.
♦ Verificare se sull'iPad l'interfaccia Bluetooth
♦ Se si utilizzano più apparecchi Bluetooth
nesso un collegamento precedente. Si potrebbe trovare nel raggio d'azione un
apparecchio precedentemente abbinato.
♦ Assicurarsi che la tastiera sia ad una distanza massima di 8 metri dall'iPad e che
non vi siano ostacoli o apparecchi elettronici nel mezzo.
Se ai tasti funzione della tastiera non è assegnata alcuna funzione o è assegnata la
funzione sbagliata, verificare se è impostata la lingua corretta della tastiera (una
descrizione dettagliata a tale proposito viene fornita nel manuale di istruzioni dell'iPad).

► Se non si riuscisse a risolvere il problema eseguendo quanto indicato

Smaltimento dell'apparecchio

■ All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by the
Customer Service department. Failure to make proper repairs may put the user
at risk. It will also invalidate any warranty claims.
■ Do not expose the device to spray or dripping water and do not place liquid-filled
objects, such as vases or open drink containers, on or near the device.
■ Switch the device off immediately and disconnect any connected charging cables
from the device if you smell fumes or notice any smoke. Have the device checked
by a qualified specialist before using it again.
■ If you are using a USB power supply, the mains socket used must always be
easily accessible so that the USB power supply can be quickly disconnected
from the socket in a hazardous situation. You should also observe the operating
instructions for the USB power supply.

Notes on the radio interface
■ Switch off the device if you are in an aeroplane, hospital, operating theatre or in
the vicinity of a electronic medical system. The transmitted radio waves can affect
the functionality of sensitive devices.
■ Keep the device at least 20 cm away from a pacemaker, as the proper functioning
of the pacemaker could be affected by radio waves.
■ The transmitted radio waves can cause noise interference in hearing aids.
■ Do not use the unit with the radio components switched on in the presence of
flammable gases or in a potentially explosive atmosphere (e.g. in a paint shop),
as the transmitted radio waves can cause an explosion or ignite a fire.
■ The range of the radio waves is dependent on the environment and the ambient
conditions.
■ Data transmissions via a wireless connection can be intercepted by unauthorised
third parties.

Disposal of packaging materials
The packaging protects the device from damage during carriage. The packaging
materials have been selected for their environmental friendliness and ease of
disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging to the material cycle conserves raw materials and reduces
the amount of waste which is generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are
no longer needed in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Charging the battery
Before using the keyboard, the integrated battery must be completely charged.
♦ Connect the USB plug on the charger cable to a PC or to a USB power supply.
♦ Connect the microUSB plug of the charging cable to the charging socket

When charging is complete, the charging LED goes out.
NOTE
► The maximum charging time is approx. 3 hours.
► If the charging LED starts flashing constantly, the battery is low and needs
to be charged.
► If you connect the powered-on keyboard to a PC, the message "USB device
not recognised" appears. This is not a malfunction as the keyboard is
designed only for Apple iPads and cannot be used with a PC.

Handling and operation
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the
device.
Positioning your iPad
The keyboard has an iPad stand in which you can stand the iPad either
upright or horizontally (see Fig. A + B).
CAUTION!
► If you position the iPad upright, ensure that it is secured by the two pins of
the iPad stand
Using the keyboard as a display protector
♦ Remove the iPad from the iPad stand (see Fig. C).
♦ Turn the iPad with the display facing down so that the home button is on the
right-hand side.
♦ Place the iPad on the keyboard so that it protrudes from under the rear retaining
pins and fold it down (see Fig. D).
♦ To remove the iPad, flip it upwards on the front recess of the keyboard.
Switching the keyboard on and off
♦ Set the ON/OFF switch to the I position to switch the keyboard on and activate
the Bluetooth® function. The connection LED lights up for 2 seconds.
♦ Set the ON/OFF switch

Before you can use the keyboard, you must pair it with a compatible iPad.

Troubleshooting
If the keyboard cannot pair with a compatible iPad or does not respond to
keystrokes, proceed as follows:
♦ Check the battery charge level and charge the battery if necessary.
♦ Check whether the keyboard is switched on.
♦ Check whether the Bluetooth
♦ If you use several Bluetooth
disconnected. This may indicate that a previously paired device is in range.
♦ Make sure that the keyboard is no more than 8 metres from the iPad and that no
obstacles or electronic devices are located in between.
If the function keys on the keyboard have no function/the wrong function, check to see
if the correct keyboard language has been set (you will find a detailed description
of how to do this in the operating instructions for your iPad).
NOTE
► If you cannot solve the problem with the above-mentioned solutions, please
contact the Service Hotline (see section Service).

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien

Tastatur als Displayschutz verwenden
♦ Entnehmen Sie das iPad aus der iPad-Halterung (siehe Abb. C).
♦ Drehen Sie das iPad mit dem Display nach unten, so dass sich die Home-Taste
auf der rechten Seite befindet.
♦ Platzieren Sie das iPad so auf der Tastatur, dass es unter den hinteren Haltezapfen
ragt und klappen Sie es herunter (siehe Abb. D).
♦ Um das iPad zu entnehmen, klappen Sie es an der vorderen Aussparrung der
Tastatur nach oben.
Tastatur ein- / ausschalten
♦ Stellen Sie den EIN- / AUS- Schalter auf die Position I, um die Tastatur einzu-
schalten und die Bluetooth
leuchtet für 2 Sekunden auf.
♦ Stellen Sie den EIN- / AUS- Schalter
schalten und die Bluetooth®-Funktion zu deaktivieren.

Verbindung mit einem iPad herstellen
Bevor Sie die Tastatur verwenden können, müssen Sie sie mit einem kompatiblen
iPad koppeln.

Nach ca. 10 Minuten ohne Tastendruck wechselt die Tastatur in den Schlafmodus,
um den Akku zu schonen.
► Um die Tastatur wieder zu aktivieren, drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste und
warten ca. 3 Sekunden. Anschließend kann die Tastatur wieder benutzt
werden.
Funktionstasten
Die Tasten in der obersten Reihe sind für Spezialfunktionen reserviert. Entsprechend
der Symbolik können so direkt Programmfunktionen wie z. B. die Medienwiedergabe
oder die Lautstärke gesteuert werden. Beachten Sie, dass je nach iOS-Version
evtl. nicht alle Sondertasten mit der beschriebenen Funktion arbeiten.

Fehlersuche
Wenn Sie die Tastatur nicht mit einem kompatiblen iPad koppeln können oder sie
nicht auf Eingaben reagiert, gehen Sie bitte folgendermaßen vor:
♦ Prüfen Sie den Ladezustand des Akkus und laden Sie ihn ggf. auf.
♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Tastatur eingeschaltet ist.
♦ Prüfen Sie, ob an Ihrem iPad die Bluetooth
♦ Wenn Sie mehrere Bluetooth
zuvor hergestellte Verbindung getrennt wurde. Es könnte sich noch ein zuvor
gekoppeltes Gerät in Reichweite befinden.
♦ Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich die Tastatur maximal 8 Meter vom iPad entfernt ist
und sich keine Hindernisse oder elektronische Geräte dazwischen befinden.
Wenn die Funktionstasten der Tastatur ohne oder mit falscher Funktion belegt sind,
überprüfen Sie bitte, ob die richtige Tastatursprache eingestellt ist (Eine detailierte
Beschreibung dazu finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung Ihres iPads).
