Informations relatives au présent mode d'emploi
Toutes nos félicitations pour l’achat de votre nouvel appareil. Vous
avez choisi un produit de grande qualité. Le présent mode d'emploi
fait partie du diff useur de brume SAD12A1 (désigné ci-après par
appareil ou produit) et vous donne des informations importantes pour
l'usage en bonne et due forme, la sécurité, le raccordement ainsi que
l'opération de l'appareil. Le mode d'emploi doit en tout temps être
accessible à proximité de l'appareil. Il doit être lu et respecté par
toute personne qui est chargée de l'utilisation et du dépannage de
l'appareil. Conservez ce mode d'emploi et remettez-le au nouveau
propriétaire de l'appareil.

utilisation.

Ce chapitre vous fournit des consignes de sécurité importantes pour
la manipulation de l'appareil. Cet appareil est conforme aux consignes
de sécurité prescrites. Tout usage non conforme peut entraîner des
accidents de personnes ou des dommages matériels.
Consignes de sécurité essentielles
Pour opérer l'appareil en toute sécurité, respecter les consignes de
sécurité suivantes :
■ Contrôlez la présence de dommages visibles extérieurs avant
usage. Ne mettez pas en service un appareil endommagé ou
ayant subi une chute. Il y a risque de blessures !
■ Cet appareil n'est pas prévu pour des personnes (y compris des
enfants) dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales ou
dont le manque d'expérience ou de connaissances les empêchent
d'assurer un usage sûr des appareils, s'ils n'ont pas été surveillés
ou initiés au préalable.
■ Les enfants doivent être surveillés afi n d'éviter qu'ils ne jouent
avec l'appareil.
■ Installez l'appareil exclusivement sur des surfaces planes, afi n
d'éviter qu'il ne soit renversé.
■ Confi ez les réparations sur l'appareil exclusivement à des entre-
prises agréées ou au service après-vente. Les réparations non
conformes peuvent entraîner des risques pour l'utilisateur. A cela
s'ajoute l'expiration de la garantie.
■ Faire remplacer immédiatement les fi ches secteur ou les cordons
d'alimentation endommagés par des techniciens spécialisés autorisés ou par le service clientèle pour éviter tout risque.

Sécurité/Eléments de réglage
■ Cet appareil ne doit pas être exposé à la pluie. Protégez l'appa-
reil de l'humidité et de la pénétration de liquides et d'objets dans
le boîtier. Ne plongez jamais l'appareil sous l'eau et ne posez
pas d'objets remplis d'eau (par ex. des vases) sur l'appareil.
L'appareil risque d'être endommagé de manière irréparable.
■ Avant tout remplissage/vidage du récipient à eau et avant tout
nettoyage, retirez l’adaptateur secteur de la prise secteur.
■ N'opérez pas l'appareil à proximité de fl ammes ouvertes (par ex.
des bougies). L'appareil risque d'être endommagé de manière
irréparable.
■ Evitez toute exposition directe à la lumière du soleil. L'appareil
risque d'être endommagé de manière irréparable.
■ Toujours tirer le cordon d'amenée au niveau de la fi che de rac-
cordement de la douille de raccordement, pas au niveau du cordon de raccordement. Sinon, le cordon peut être endommagé.

La mise en service de l'appareil peut entraîner des

Respectez les consignes de sécurité suivantes pour éviter tous
risques :
► Les matériaux d'emballage ne sont pas des jouets pour les
enfants. Il y a un risque d'étouff ement.
► Veuillez tenir compte des remarques concernant les exigences
en termes de lieu d'installation et de raccordement électrique
de l'appareil, pour éviter les accidents et dommages matériels.

REMARQUE
Vérifi ez que la livraison est bien complète et qu'elle ne présente

► En cas de livraison incomplète ou de dommages résultant d'un
emballage défi cient ou du transport, veuillez vous adresser
à la hotline du service après-vente (cf. le chapitre Service
après-vente).
Déballage
♦ Sortez du carton toutes les pièces de l'appareil et le présent mode
d'emploi.
♦ Retirez l'ensemble du matériau d'emballage de l'appareil.

Installation et raccordement
Elimination de l'emballage
L'emballage protège l'appareil de tous dommages éventuels au
cours du transport. Les matériaux d'emballage ont été sélectionnés
selon des critères de respect de l'environnement et d'élimination, de
sorte qu'ils peuvent être recyclés.
Le retour de l'emballage dans les fi lières de recyclage
permet d'économiser les matières premières et réduit le
volume de déchets. Recyclez les matériaux d'emballage
qui ne sont plus utilisés en conformité avec la législation
locale.
Raccord électrique
ATTENTION
Avant de raccorder l'appareil, comparez les indications relatives
►
à la tension d'entrée nécessaire sur la plaque signalétique
avec la source de tension prévue pour la mise en service. Ces
données doivent correspondre pour éviter les dommages au
niveau de l'appareil.
► Assurez-vous que le cordon de l'adaptateur secteur est
indemne et qu'il n'est pas posé sur des surfaces chaudes et/ou
des chants aigus, sinon, il sera endommagé.
► Veillez à ce que le câble de l'adaptateur secteur ne soit pas
tendu ou plié.
♦ Raccordez l'adaptateur secteur à l'appareil en insérant la
fi che dans la douille de la fi che au bas de l'appareil.

► En cours d'opération, ne tenez pas les mains et le visage
au-dessus de l'orifi ce de sortie de la vapeur
► Il y a un risque d'ébouillantage par l'orifi ce de sortie de la
vapeur.
ATTENTION
Utilisez uniquement des huiles essentielles à 100 %.
►
► Respectez les indications des fabricants des huiles essentielles.
► Les gouttes d'huile peuvent dans certaines circonstances en-
dommager la surface des meubles. Le cas échéant, placez
un support sous l'appareil.
♦ Placez l'appareil sur un support plan et stable.
♦ Retirez le cône de diff usion et remplissez le réservoir d'eau
à l'aide du gobelet mesureur joint avec au max. 80ml d'eau
du robinet propre. Respectez la hauteur de remplissage maxi-
male .
♦ Rajoutez 3 à 5 gouttes de l’huile essentielle souhaitée.
♦ Insérez ensuite à nouveau le cône de diff usion sur le réservoir.
♦ Insérez l'adaptateur secteur dans la prise.

ATTENTION
Dommages sur l'appareil !
► Assurez-vous lors du nettoyage qu'aucune humidité ne pénètre
dans l'appareil pour éviter tous dommages irréparables sur
l'appareil.
► Retirez impérativement l'adaptateur secteur de la prise,
avant de nettoyer l'appareil.
► Ne videz pas l'appareil au-dessus de la fente d'aération
pour éviter les dommages. Au moment de vider le réservoir,
veuillez tenir compte de la direction de la fl èche sur le réservoir d'eau
► N'essayez en aucun cas de retirer des dépôts calcaires à
l'aide d'objets pointus ou aiguisés. Vous risquez en eff et
d'endommager l'appareil.

Nettoyer / détartrer l'appareil
♦ Nettoyez le réservoir d'eau après chaque usage, pour parvenir
à supprimer l'intégralité des résidus huileux. Utilisez un chiff on
doux, légèrement humidifi é à cette fi n. En cas d'encrassement
tenace, ajoutez quelques gouttes de liquide vaisselle doux sur
le chiff on humide.
♦ Le disque en céramique se trouvant en bas du réservoir d'eau
doit être nettoyé occasionnellement, lorsque la production de
brume se réduit. Utilisez un coton-tige légèrement humidifi é à
cette fi n.
♦ Nettoyez les surfaces de l'appareil avec un chiff on doux et sec.
♦ Pour détartrer l'appareil, utilisez un produit détartrant liquide
habituellement disponible dans le commerce. Veuillez égale-
ment respecter les indications du fabricant sur votre produit
détartrant.

poubelle domestique normale. Ce produit
est assujetti à la directive européenne
2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and

Mettez l'appareil au rebut en le confi ant à une entreprise
de traitement des déchets agréée ou au service de
recyclage de votre commune. Respecter les règlements
actuellement en vigueur. En cas de doute, contacter les
services techniques de la commune.

d'achat. L'appareil a été fabriqué avec soin et consciencieusement
contrôlé avant sa distribution.

Dans le cas où la garantie s'applique, veuillez appeler le service
après-vente compétent. Cette condition doit être respectée pour
assurer l'expédition gratuite de votre marchandise.

La prestation de garantie s'applique uniquement pour les

■ Dieses Gerät darf nicht dem Regen ausgesetzt werden. Schützen
Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten und Gegenständen in das Gehäuse. Tauchen Sie das Gerät
niemals unter Wasser und stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten
Gegenstände (z.B. Vasen) auf das Gerät. Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.
■ Ziehen Sie bei jedem Befüllen/Entleeren des Wasserbehälters und

Aufstellort sowie zum elektrischen Anschluss des Gerätes,

Lieferumfang und Transportinspektion
Das Gerät wird standardmäßig mit folgenden Komponenten geliefert:

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf
spart Rohstoff e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
Elektrischer Anschluss
ACHTUNG
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die

Angaben zur benötigten Eingangsspannung auf dem
Typenschild mit der für den Betrieb vorgesehenen Spannungsquelle. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine
Schäden am Gerät auftreten.
► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Kabel des Netzadapters
unbeschädigt ist und nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder
scharfe Kanten verlegt wird, sonst wird es beschädigt.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel des Netzadapters nicht
straff gespannt oder geknickt wird.
♦ Verbinden Sie den Netzadapter mit dem Gerät, indem Sie
den Stecker in die Steckerbuchse an der Unterseite des
Geräts einstecken.

Verwenden Sie nur 100 % ätherisches Öl.

► Beachten Sie die Herstellerangaben der ätherischen Öle.
► Öl-Tropfen können unter Umständen Schäden an der
Möbeloberfl äche verursachen. Legen Sie gegebenenfalls eine
Unterlage unter das Gerät.
♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen und stabilen Untergrund.
♦ Nehmen Sie den Diff usionskegel ab und füllen Sie den
Wasserbehälter mit Hilfe des beigefügten Messbechers
mit max. 80ml sauberem Leitungswasser. Beachten Sie die
maximale Füllhöhe .
♦ Fügen Sie dem Wasser 3-5 Tropfen des gewünschten
ätherischen Öls bei.
♦ Setzen Sie anschließend den Diff usionskegel wieder auf den
Behälter.
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzadapter in die Steckdose.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit
in das Gerät eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung
des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie unbedingt den Netzadapter aus der Steckdose,
bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
► Entleeren Sie das Gerät nicht über den Lüftungsschlitz
um Schäden zu vermeiden. Beachten Sie zur Entleerung die
Pfeilrichtung am Wasserbehälter
► Versuchen Sie keinenfalls Kalkablagerungen mit spitzen
oder scharfen Gegenständen zu entfernen. Das Gerät kann
dadurch beschädigt werden.

Gerät reinigen / entkalken
♦ Reinigen Sie den Wasserbehälter nach jedem Gebrauch, um
Ölrückstände möglichst vollständig zu entfernen. Verwenden
Sie hierzu ein weiches, leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch. Geben Sie
bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen einige Tropfen eines milden
Spülmittels auf das feuchte Tuch.
♦ Die am Boden des Wasserbehälters befi ndliche Keramikscheibe
muss gelegentlich gereinigt werden, wenn die Nebelproduktion
nachlässt. Verwenden Sie hierzu ein leicht angefeuchtetes
Wattestäbchen.
♦ Reinigen Sie die Oberfl ächen des Gerätes mit einem weichen,
trockenen Tuch.
♦ Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken des Gerätes ein handelsübliches
fl üssiges Entkalkungsmittel. Beachten Sie auch die Herstellerangaben zu Ihrem Entkalkungsmittel.

instructions are a component of the Aroma Diff user SAD12A1
(hereafter referred to as the appliance or product) and they provide

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. This appliance complies with the
statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can, however, lead to
personal and property damage.

Basic safety instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety
information:
■ Before use, check the appliance for signs of visible external damage.
Do not put into operation an appliance that is damaged or has
been dropped. There is also a risk of personal injury!

from moisture and the penetration of liquids and objects into the
housing. NEVER submerse the appliance in water and do not

disconnect the plug from the mains power socket.

The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage.
The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of
their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit
saves on raw material and reduces generated waste.
Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed
according to the regionally established regulations.
Electrical connection
IMPORTANT
Before you connect the appliance to the power supply, check

plate tallies with that for the intended power source. To avoid

♦ Remove the diff usion cone and fi ll the water tank , by
using the supplied measuring beaker, with max. 80 ml of
clean mains water. Pay heed to the maximum fi lling level .
♦ Add 3 to 5 drops of the desired essential oil to the water.
♦ Then replace the diff usion cone onto the container.
♦ Insert the power adapter into the mains power socket.

Cleaning/descaling the appliance
♦ Clean the water tank after each use so as to remove oil residue
as completely as possible. For this, use a soft and slightly moist
cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, place a few drops of mild
detergent on the damp cloth.
♦ Should the steam production diminish, the ceramic disk
located at the bottom of the water tank must be cleaned.
For this, use a slightly moistened cotton bud.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft and dry cloth.
♦ To descale the appliance, use a standard commercial liquid
descaling agent. Pay heed also to the manufacturer's instruc-
tions for your descaler.

♦ Fill the water tank to the maximum fi lling level with
descaler and let it stand until the scale is fully dissolved.
♦ Pour the scale removal away and then clean the water tank
with a soft and slightly damp cloth.
Storage
Should you decide to not use the appliance for an extended period,
disconnect it from the mains power supply and store it in a clean
and dry location away from direct sunlight.
Disposing of the appliance
Do not dispose of this appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the provision of European
Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal
centre or at your community waste facility. Observe
the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
