instructions are a component of the Aroma Diff user SAD12A1
(hereafter referred to as the appliance or product) and they provide
you with important information about the intended use, safety, connection
and operation of the appliance. These operating instructions must be
constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to be read
and applied by everyone assigned to operate the appliance and to

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. Incorrect usage can, however, lead to
personal and property damage.
Basic safety instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety
information:
■ Before use, check the appliance for signs of visible
external damage. Do not put into operation an
appliance that is damaged or has been dropped.
There is also a risk of personal injury!
■ This appliance may be used by children of the age
of 8 years or more and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they are supervised
or, in regard to the safe use of the appliance, have
been instructed in its use and understand the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance.
Children should not carry out cleaning and user
maintenance tasks without supervision.
■ Operate the appliance only with the supplied
power adapter (type DK12-240-0500).
■ Place the appliance only on fl at surfaces, so that a
tipping over is excluded.

specialist companies or by the Customer Service
Department. Incorrect repairs can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In addition, warranty claims
become void.
■ To avoid risks, arrange for defective power plugs
and/or cables to be replaced at once by qualifi ed
technicians or our Customer Service Department.
■ This appliance may not be exposed to rain. Protect
the appliance from moisture and the penetration
of liquids and objects into the housing. NEVER
submerse the appliance in water and do not place
objects fi lled with liquids (such as vases) on the
appliance. The appliance could also be irreparably
damaged!
■ Before fi lling/emptying the water tank and before
cleaning, disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket.
■ Do not operate the appliance close to open fl ames
(e.g. candles). The appliance could also be irreparably damaged!
■ Avoid direct solar radiation. The appliance could
be irreparably damaged!
■ Always disconnect the mains power cable from the
socket by pulling on the plug, do not pull on the
cable itself. Otherwise, the power cable could be
damaged.

Unpacking
♦ Remove all parts of the appliance and these operating instruc-
tions from the box.
♦ Remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
Disposal of packaging
The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage.
The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of
their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit
saves on raw material and reduces generated waste.
Dispose of packaging material that is no longer needed
according to the regionally established regulations.

Electrical connection

IMPORTANT
Before you connect the appliance to the power supply, check

to ensure that the required input voltage as given on the type
plate tallies with that for the intended power source. To avoid
possible damage to the appliance this data must match.
► Check to ensure that the cable for the power adapter
is not damaged and that it does not lead over hot surfaces
and or sharp edges, otherwise it could be damaged.
► Ensure that the cable for the power adapter is not over-taut
or kinked.
♦ Connect the power adapter to the appliance by inserting the
plug into the plug socket on the underside of the appliance.

hands and face over the steam outlet

♦ Remove the diff usion cone and fi ll the water tank , by
using the supplied measuring beaker, with max. 80 ml of
clean mains water. Pay heed to the maximum fi lling level .
♦ Add 3 to 5 drops of the desired essential oil to the water.
♦ Then replace the diff usion cone onto the water tank .
♦ Insert the power adapter into the mains power socket.

Damage to the appliance!
► To avoid irreparable damage, when you are cleaning the
appliance ensure that no moisture can penetrate into it.
► Ensure that you remove the power adapter from the
mains power socket before cleaning the appliance.
► To avoid damage, do not empty the appliance through the
ventilation slot . When emptying it, take note of the arrow
direction
► Under no circumstances should you try to remove scale
deposits with a pointed or sharp object. The appliance could
be irreparably damaged.

Cleaning/descaling the appliance
♦ Clean the water tank after each use so as to remove oil resi-
due as completely as possible. For this, use a soft and slightly
moist cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, place a few drops of
mild detergent on the damp cloth.

descaler and let it stand until the scale is fully dissolved.
♦ Pour the scale removal away and then clean the water tank
with a soft and slightly damp cloth.

Storage
Should you decide to not use the appliance for an extended period,
disconnect it from the mains power supply and store it in a clean
and dry location away from direct sunlight.
Disposing of the appliance
Do not dispose of this appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is

Directive 2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or
at your community waste facility. Observe the currently applicable
regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal

purchase. The appliance has been manufactured with care and
meticulously examined before delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the case of a
warranty claim, please make contact by telephone with our service
department. Only in this way can a post-free despatch for your
goods be assured.
NOTICE
The warranty covers replacements for material or manufac-

Za varno ravnanje z napravo upoštevajte naslednje varnostne napotke:
