Le deseamos mucha suerte con su nuevo aparato. Se ha decidido
usted por un producto de gran calidad. Estas instrucciones de uso
forman parte del difusor aromático SAD12A1 (denominado en
adelante "el aparato o producto") y proporcionan informaciones
importantes para el uso conforme a lo previsto, la seguridad, la conexión, así como el manejo del aparato. Estas instrucciones de uso
deben estar disponibles siempre cerca del aparato. Deben ser leídas
y comprendidas por todas las personas encargadas del manejo y la
solución de averías del aparato. Conserve estas instrucciones de uso
y entréguelas junto con el aparato a cualquier posible propietario
futuro.

Seguridad

En este capítulo obtendrá indicaciones de seguridad importantes para
manejar el aparato. Este aparato cumple las normas de seguridad
prescritas. El uso inadecuado puede causar daños personales y
materiales.
Indicaciones de seguridad básicas
Para manejar con seguridad el aparato deben tenerse en cuenta las
indicaciones de seguridad siguientes:
■ Antes de usar el aparato, compruebe si hay signos de daños
externos visibles. No ponga en servicio un aparato dañado o
que haya caído. ¡Existe peligro de lesiones!
■ No permita utilizar el aparato a personas (incluidos los niños)
cuyas facultades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, así como su
falta de conocimientos o de experiencia, les impida hacer un uso
seguro del mismo si no están bajo vigilancia o han sido instruidos
correctamente acerca del uso del aparato.
■ Vigile a los niños para asegurarse de que no juegan con el
aparato.
■ Coloque el aparato únicamente sobre superfi cies lisas para
evitar su volcado.
■ Las reparaciones en el aparato deben ser realizadas solamente
por talleres autorizados o por el servicio de atención al cliente.
En caso de reparaciones indebidas se pueden producir riesgos
para los usuarios. Además expirará la garantía.
■ En caso de una clavija de red dañada o cable de red dañado,
encomiende su sustitución a personal técnico autorizado o al
servicio de posventa con el fi n de evitar riesgos.

Seguridad/Elementos de operación
■ Este aparato no se puede utilizar bajo la lluvia. Proteja el aparato
contra la humedad y la entrada de líquidos u otros objetos en
la carcasa. Nunca sumerja el aparato bajo el agua ni coloque
ningún recipiente relleno de líquidos (p.ej. jarrones) cerca del
aparato. ¡Esto podría estropear el aparato de forma irreparable!
■ Para el llenado y vaciado y limpieza del dispositivo debe desco-
nectar el aparato del enchufe de la electricidad antes.
■ No utilice el aparato cerca de llamas abiertas (p. ej. velas).

■ Desenchufar siempre en el conector en la clavija y nunca tire

Indicaciones de seguridad
ADVERTENCIA
¡La puesta en servicio del aparato conlleva riesgo
de daños personales y materiales!
Tenga en cuenta las indicaciones de seguridad siguientes para
evitar peligros:
► Los niños no deben usar los materiales de embalaje para
jugar. Podrían asfi xiarse.
► Respete las indicaciones sobre los requisitos del lugar de
colocación, así como la conexión eléctrica del aparato para
evitar que se produzcan lesiones físicas o daños materiales.
Volumen de suministro e inspección de
transporte
El aparato se suministra de serie con los componentes siguientes:

Compruebe la integridad de suministro y si hay daños visibles.

► Si el suministro es incompleto o hay daños debido a un
embalaje defi ciente o al transporte, póngase en contacto
con la línea directa de asistencia (véase el apartado
Asistencia técnica).
Desembalar
♦ Extraiga todos los componentes del aparato y el manual de
instrucciones de la caja.
♦ Retire todos los materiales de embalaje del aparato.

Colocación y conexión
Evacuación del embalaje
El embalaje protege el aparato durante el transporte. El material de
embalaje se ha seleccionado teniendo en cuenta criterios ecológicos
y de técnica de eliminación y por ello es reciclable.
La reintroducción del embalaje en el ciclo de materiales
ahorra materias primas y reduce el volumen de residuos.
Evacue los materiales de embalaje que no sean necesarios
según las normativas locales aplicables.
Conexión eléctrica
ATENCIÓN
Antes de conectar el aparato compruebe que los datos sobre
►
la tensión de entrada necesaria en la placa de características
coinciden con la fuente de tensión prevista para el funcionamiento. Es imprescindible que estos datos coincidan, para que
no se produzcan daños en el aparato.
► Asegúrese de que el cable del adaptador de red no esté
dañado y que no se vaya a colocar sobre superfi cies calientes y/o cantos afi lados, de lo contrario podría dañarse.
► Asegúrese de que el cable del adaptador de red no esté
excesivamente tensado o que no esté plegado.
♦ Conecte el adaptador de red con el aparato, para ello
conecte la clavija en la base de enchufe en la parte inferior
del aparato.

► No coloque en ningún caso las manos o el rostro sobre el
orifi cio de salida de vapor durante el funcionamiento
Existe el peligro de escaldadura por el vapor de agua.
ATENCIÓN
Utilice exclusivamente aceite 100 % etéreos.

► Tenga en cuenta las indicaciones del fabricante del aceite
etéreo.
► En determinadas circunstancias las gotas de aceite pueden
causar daños en la superfi cie de los muebles. Dado el caso
coloque un salvamanteles debajo del aparato.
♦ Coloque el aparato sobre una base recta y estable.
♦ Extraiga la bola de difusión y llene el depósito de agua
con ayuda del vaso medidor suministrado con un máximo
de 80ml de agua corriente limpia. Asegúrese de no superar
el nivel máximo de llenado .
♦ Añada al agua 3-5 gotas del aceite de esencia deseado.
♦ Coloque nuevamente la bola de difusión sobre el depósito.

► Asegúrese que durante la limpieza no entre humedad en el
aparato, para evitar daños irreparables en el mismo.
► Desenchufe sin falta la clavija de la toma de corriente,
antes de limpiar el aparato.
► No vacíe el aparato a través de la rejilla de ventilación
que se podrían producir daños. Tenga en cuenta el sentido
de la fl echa para vaciar el depósito de agua
► Nunca intente limpiar las acumulaciones de cal con objetos
afi lados o puntiagudos. Esto podría estropear el aparato.
Limpieza del aparato / descalcifi cado
♦ Limpie el depósito de agua después de cada uso para eliminar
los restos de aceite lo máximo posible. Utilice para ello un
paño suave ligeramente humedecido. Para la suciedad más
persistente vierta unas gotas de un detergente suave en el paño
húmedo.
♦ La placa cerámica en la base del depósito de agua
limpiarse ocasionalmente si la producción de neblina disminuye.
Utilice para ello un bastoncillo de algodón ligeramente
humedecido.
♦ Limpie la superfi cie del aparato con un paño seco y suave.
♦ Para descalcifi car el aparato utilice un producto descalcifi cador
líquido común. Tenga en cuenta los datos del fabricante del
producto descalcifi cador.

De ningún modo deberá tirar el aparato en
la basura doméstica. Este producto está sujeto
a la Directiva europea 2002/96/EC-RAEE
(residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos).
Elimine el aparato en un centro de evacuación auto-
rizado a través de las instalaciones de evacuación
comunitarias. Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales
en vigor. En caso de dudas póngase en contacto con
su centro de evacuación.

Este aparato tiene 3 años de garantía desde la fecha de compra.
El aparato ha sido fabricado cuidadosamente y ha sido probado
antes de su entrega.
Guarde el comprobante de caja como justifi cante de compra. Si
necesitara hacer uso de la garantía, póngase en contacto por
teléfono con su punto de servicio habitual. Éste es el único modo de
garantizar un envío gratuito.
ADVERTENCIA
La garantía cubre los defectos de fabricación o del material,

pero no los daños de transporte, las piezas sujetas a desgaste o los daños sufridos por las piezas frágiles.
Este producto ha sido diseñado exclusivamente para el uso particular
y no para el uso industrial. En caso de manipulación indebida e
incorrecta, uso de la fuerza y en caso de abrir el aparato personas
extrañas a nuestros centros de asistencia técnica autorizados, la
garantía pierde su validez.
Esta garantía no reduce en forma alguna sus derechos legales. La
duración de la garantía no se prolonga con la garantía de reparaciones. Lo mismo sucede con las piezas que se hayan cambiado o
reparado.
Los daños y defectos que puedan estar presentes en el momento de
la compra deberán notifi carse inmediatamente después del desembalado o como máximo dos días después de la fecha de compra.
Una vez transcurrido el periodo de garantía, deberá abonarse el

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance. You have

thereby decided in favour of a high quality product. These operating
instructions are a component of the Aroma Diff user SAD12A1
(hereafter referred to as the appliance or product) and they provide
you with important information about the intended use, safety, connection
and operation of the appliance. These operating instructions must be
constantly kept available close to the appliance. They are to be read
and applied by everyone assigned to operate the appliance and to
eliminate faults with it. Retain these operating instructions and pass
them on, together with the appliance, to a possible future owner.

Safety
In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding
the handling of the appliance. This appliance complies with the
GB
statutory safety regulations. Incorrect usage can, however, lead to
personal and property damage.
Basic safety instructions
For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety
information:
■ Before use, check the appliance for signs of visible external damage.
Do not put into operation an appliance that is damaged or has
been dropped. There is also a risk of personal injury!
■ This appliance is not intended for use by individuals (including
children) with restricted physical, physiological or intellectual
abilities or defi ciencies in experience and/or knowledge unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or
receive from this person instruction in how the appliance is to be
used.
■ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
■ Place the appliance only on fl at surfaces, so that a tipping over
is excluded.
■ Repairs should only be carried out by authorised specialist com-
panies or by the Customer Service Department. Incorrect repairs
can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In addition, warranty
claims become void.
■ To avoid risks, arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables
to be replaced at once by qualifi ed technicians or our Customer
Service Department.

Safety/Operating Elements
■ This appliance may not be exposed to rain. Protect the appliance
from moisture and the penetration of liquids and objects into the
housing. NEVER submerse the appliance in water and do not
place objects fi lled with liquids (such as vases) on the appliance.
The appliance could also be irreparably damaged!
■ Before fi lling/emptying the water tank and before cleaning,

The packaging protects the appliance against transport damage.
The packaging materials are selected from the point of view of
their environmental friendliness and disposal technology and are
therefore recyclable.
The recirculation of packaging into the material circuit

according to the regionally established regulations.
Electrical connection

Before you connect the appliance to the power supply, check

♦ Add 3 to 5 drops of the desired essential oil to the water.
♦ Then replace the diff usion cone onto the container.
♦ Insert the power adapter into the mains power socket.

► To avoid irreparable damage, when you are cleaning the
appliance ensure that no moisture can penetrate into it.
► Ensure that you remove the power adapter from the
mains power socket before cleaning the appliance.
► To avoid damage, do not empty the appliance through the
ventilation slot . When emptying it, take note of the arrow
direction on the water tank .
► Under no circumstances should you try to remove scale
deposits with a pointed or sharp object. The appliance could
be irreparably damaged.
Cleaning/descaling the appliance
♦ Clean the water tank after each use so as to remove oil residue
as completely as possible. For this, use a soft and slightly moist
cloth. In the case of stubborn stains, place a few drops of mild
detergent on the damp cloth.
♦ Should the steam production diminish, the ceramic disk
located at the bottom of the water tank must be cleaned.
For this, use a slightly moistened cotton bud.
♦ Clean the surfaces of the appliance with a soft and dry cloth.
♦ To descale the appliance, use a standard commercial liquid
descaling agent. Pay heed also to the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions for your descaler.

♦ Fill the water tank to the maximum fi lling level with
descaler and let it stand until the scale is fully dissolved.
♦ Pour the scale removal away and then clean the water tank
with a soft and slightly damp cloth.

Should you decide to not use the appliance for an extended period,
disconnect it from the mains power supply and store it in a clean
and dry location away from direct sunlight.
Disposing of the appliance
Do not dispose of this appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is

■ Dieses Gerät darf nicht dem Regen ausgesetzt werden. Schützen
Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten und Gegenständen in das Gehäuse. Tauchen Sie das Gerät
niemals unter Wasser und stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten
Gegenstände (z.B. Vasen) auf das Gerät. Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.
■ Ziehen Sie bei jedem Befüllen/Entleeren des Wasserbehälters und
vor jeder Reinigung den Netzadapter aus der Netzsteckdose.
■ Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von off enen Flammen (z.B. Kerzen)
betreiben. Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.
■ Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonnenbestrahlung. Das Gerät kann
irreparabel beschädigt werden.
■ Die Zuleitung immer am Anschlussstecker aus der Steckerbuchse
ziehen, nicht am Anschlusskabel. Ansonsten kann das Kabel
beschädigt werden.

Entsorgung der Verpackung
Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.
Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf
spart Rohstoff e und verringert das Abfallaufkommen.
Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungsmaterialien
gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.
Elektrischer Anschluss
ACHTUNG
Vergleichen Sie vor dem Anschließen des Gerätes die

Angaben zur benötigten Eingangsspannung auf dem
Typenschild mit der für den Betrieb vorgesehenen Spannungsquelle. Diese Daten müssen übereinstimmen, damit keine
Schäden am Gerät auftreten.
► Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Kabel des Netzadapters
unbeschädigt ist und nicht über heiße Flächen und/oder
scharfe Kanten verlegt wird, sonst wird es beschädigt.
► Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel des Netzadapters nicht
straff gespannt oder geknickt wird.
♦ Verbinden Sie den Netzadapter mit dem Gerät, indem Sie
den Stecker in die Steckerbuchse an der Unterseite des
Geräts einstecken.

► Beachten Sie die Herstellerangaben der ätherischen Öle.
► Öl-Tropfen können unter Umständen Schäden an der
Möbeloberfl äche verursachen. Legen Sie gegebenenfalls eine
Unterlage unter das Gerät.
♦ Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen ebenen und stabilen Untergrund.
♦ Nehmen Sie den Diff usionskegel ab und füllen Sie den
Wasserbehälter mit Hilfe des beigefügten Messbechers
mit max. 80ml sauberem Leitungswasser. Beachten Sie die
maximale Füllhöhe .
♦ Fügen Sie dem Wasser 3-5 Tropfen des gewünschten
ätherischen Öls bei.
♦ Setzen Sie anschließend den Diff usionskegel wieder auf den
Behälter.
♦ Stecken Sie den Netzadapter in die Steckdose.

► Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine Feuchtigkeit
in das Gerät eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung
des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
► Ziehen Sie unbedingt den Netzadapter aus der Steckdose,
bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
► Entleeren Sie das Gerät nicht über den Lüftungsschlitz
um Schäden zu vermeiden. Beachten Sie zur Entleerung die
Pfeilrichtung am Wasserbehälter
► Versuchen Sie keinenfalls Kalkablagerungen mit spitzen
oder scharfen Gegenständen zu entfernen. Das Gerät kann
dadurch beschädigt werden.

Gerät reinigen / entkalken
♦ Reinigen Sie den Wasserbehälter nach jedem Gebrauch, um
Ölrückstände möglichst vollständig zu entfernen. Verwenden
Sie hierzu ein weiches, leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch. Geben Sie
bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen einige Tropfen eines milden
Spülmittels auf das feuchte Tuch.
♦ Die am Boden des Wasserbehälters befi ndliche Keramikscheibe
muss gelegentlich gereinigt werden, wenn die Nebelproduktion
nachlässt. Verwenden Sie hierzu ein leicht angefeuchtetes
Wattestäbchen.
♦ Reinigen Sie die Oberfl ächen des Gerätes mit einem weichen,
trockenen Tuch.
♦ Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken des Gerätes ein handelsübliches

♦ Füllen Sie den Wasserbehälter bis zur maximalen Füllhöhe
mit Entkalkungsmittel und lassen Sie es so lange einwirken, bis
sich der Kalk gelöst hat.
♦ Schütten Sie das Entkalkungsmittel weg und reinigen Sie
anschließend den Wasserbehälter

Sollten Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, trennen Sie es von
der Stromversorgung und lagern es an einem sauberen, trockenen

in Verbindung. Nur so kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware
gewährleistet werden.

Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für Material- oder Fabrikations-
