Forbestperformance,yourWashermustbeinstalledonasolidlyconstructedfloor.Woodfloorsmay needtobereinforcedtominimizevibrationand/orunbalancedloadsituations.Carpetingandsofttile surfacesarecontributingfactorsinvibrationand/ortendencyforyourWashertomoveslightlyduring thespincycle.

STEP1

RemovingtheShippingBolts

BeforeusingyourWasher,youmustremovethefourshipping boltsfromthebackoftheunit.

1. Loosenallboltswiththesuppliedspanner.

2.Slidetheboltandspacerupandremovetheboltwith spacerthroughtheholeintherearwallofyourWasher.

Repeatforeachbolt.

3. Filltheholeswiththesuppliedplasticcovers.

4. Keeptheshippingboltsandspacersforfutureuse.

1.Placethedrainhoseinthedrainfacility.Besureanairtight connectionisNOTmadebetweenthedrainhoseandthe standpipe.

Standpipemustbeatleast18inor46cmhigh.

NOTE: Cautionmustalwaysbeexercisedtoavoidcollapsing ordamagingthedrainhose.Forbestresults,thedrain hoseshouldnotberestrictedinanyway–byelbows, couplings,orexcessivelengths.Forsituationswherethe drainhosecannotbeconvenientlyelevatedtoatleast18 inor46cm,thedrainhosemustbesupported.

2.Checktheinlethosetoensureawasherisinsideeachfillhose. ThreadtheinlethosestotheHOTandCOLDfaucetconnections. Ontheotherendofthehose,checkforonerubberwasherper hoseandinstalleachfillhosetothewatervalve.Makesurethe hosewiththeredlineisattachedtotheHOTfaucet.Tightenby handuntilsnug,thentwo-thirdsofaturnwithpliers.

NOTE: Forcorrectwateruse,connectbothHOTandCOLD watervalves.Ifoneisnotconnected,“nF”(nofill)error canoccur.

YourWasherisgroundedthroughthethirdprongofthepowercord whenpluggedintoathree-pronggroundedreceptacle.

5. SlideyourWasherintoposition.

6.LevelyourWasherbyturningthelevelinglegsinoroutasnecessarybyhandorwrenchincluded withyourWasher.

WhenyourWasherislevel,tightenthenutsusingthewrenchor(-)driver.

NOTE: YourWashermustbeleveled onallfoursides.Acarpenter’s levelshouldbeusedonall fourcornersofyourWasher. It’sagoodideaafterthefirst dozenwashestorecheckyour Washer’slevelness.

7. Ifyouinstallyourwasheronsoftfloor,

Youcanfillthetubwithdry,unfoldedclothes;butDONOTOVERLOADthetub.

Overloadingmayreducewashinge ciency,causeexcesswear,andpossiblycausecreasingor wrinklingoftheload.

Washdelicateitemssuchasbras,hosiery,andotherlingerieintheDelicates/HandWashcyclewith similarlightweightitems.

Whenwashingbigbulkyitemsorafewsmalleritemsthatdon’tfillthetubcompletely–arug,a pillow,stu edtoys,oroneortwosweaters,forexample–addafewtowelstoimprovetumbling andspinperformance.

Whenwashingheavilysoiledloads,notoverloadingyourWasherisveryimportanttoassuregood cleaningresults.

Toaddaforgottenitem:

1)PresstheCycleSelectordial

2)WaitfortheDoorLocklighttogoout(5seconds)

3)Addtheitem,closethedoor,andpresstheCycleSelectordial.
