Indicaciones sobre el marcado CE
Cada máquina lleva los siguientes indicadores:
-Nombre y dirección del fabricante: SAMMIC S.L., Basarte 1, Azkoitia, Gipuzkoa (SPAIN).
-Marca CE.
-Se indica el modelo de la máquina en el apartado siguiente.
-El número de serie se indica en la hoja de garantía y en la declaración de conformidad.
MODELOS
Este manual describe la instalación, funcionamiento y mantenimiento de las máquinas Secadoras Abrillantadoras SAM3001, SAS-5001 y SAS-6001. La referencia del modelo y sus características se indican en la placa de identificación colocada en la máquina.
Directivas y normas europeas (versión 400230V III y 230V II):
-Directiva sobre máquinas 2006/42/CE.
-Directiva de baja tensión 2006/95/CE.
-Directiva de compatibilidad electromagnética 2004/108/ CE.
-Los modelos de 120V/60Hz/1~ cumplen con las normas UL-499 y CSA C22.2.
-Estudio sobre el funcionamiento bacteriológico de la máquina.
INSTALACIÓN
Para conseguir las mejores prestaciones, así como una buena conservación de la máquina, hay que seguir las instrucciones contenidas en este manual.
Emplazamiento
Colocar la máquina de tal forma que quede debidamente nivelada y asentada sobre un suelo firme. Es indispensable cumplir esta condición para evitar la trasmisión de la vibración de la cuba al chasis y no dañar la máquina.
Nivelar la máquina ajustando sus patas regulables (F ).
Se recomienda dejar un espacio mínimo de 40 mm entre los laterales de la máquina y las paredes
o demás muebles que rodean la secadora abrillantadora.
Conexión eléctrica
Características:
Las máquinas monofásicas se suministran para tensión de 230V o 120V.
Preparar una toma de corriente mural, que este siempre al alcance de la mano, con protección diferencial y magneto térmica de 2P (de 10 A a 16A), con su clavija correspondiente.
Las máquinas trifásicas se suministran para tensiones de 230V o 400V (conectadas a 400V). Para cambiar de voltaje, cambiar conexiones en los bornes de la caja eléctrica y del motor como se indica en el esquema eléctrico.
Para los modelos trifásicos preparar una toma de corriente mural, que este siempre al alcance de la mano, con protección diferencial y magneto térmica de 4P de 10 A, con su clavija correspondiente.
Antes de conectar la secadora abrillantadora a la red comprobar que la máquina esta preparada para el mismo voltaje que el de la red.
Características del cable
Las secadoras abrillantadoras Sammic se suministran con 2 m de cable con recubrimiento termo plástico. ES OBLIGATORIO LA CONEXIÓN A TIERRA. El hilo de toma a tierra está señalizado.
FUNCIONES DEL CONTROL ELECTRONICO
“figura interruptor general G”
Interruptor general luminoso, conecta y desconecta la alimentación de la maquina.
“figura pulsador I A”
Pone en marcha la maquina si la tapa esta bajada.
Estando la maquina parada y la puerta abierta con la pulsación prologada de esta tecla se selecciona el ciclo de secado final de grano, encendiéndose el piloto (4).
Estando la máquina en marcha la pulsación prolongada de esta tecla apaga la lámpara UV-
c durante 15 minutos. Si pulsamos de nuevo el pulsador de marcha, o paramos y ponemos en marcha la maquina, la lámpara se enciende instantáneamente.

Para la máquina.
Para apagar el piloto 3 de cambio de producto abrillantador o cambio de lámpara, con la máquina parada y la puerta abierta realizar una pulsación prolongada del pulsador de parada.

Cuando esta encendido el grano ha alcanzado la temperatura de trabajo o temperatura preseleccionada (ver funcionamiento).

Si esta encendido la resistencia esta conectada, si esta apagado desconectada (ver funcionamiento).

Si esta encendida es necesario el cambio del producto abrillantador (ver cambio de grano). Si esta parpadeando es necesario el cambio de la lámpara UV-c (ver cambio de lámpara UV-c).

Si esta encendido se ha seleccionado el ciclo de secado (ver ciclo de secado)
Si parpadea hay algún fallo en maquina (ver código fallos).
FUNCIONAMIENTO
Llenado del producto abrillantador
Poner la máquina en marcha (ver apartado funcionamiento). Llenar la tolva con la cantidad de producto abrillantador suministrado por SAMMIC por el orificio de alimentación de cubiertos(C).
SAMMIC suministra una bolsa de producto abrillantador con cada máquina, y las cantidades recomendadas de acuerdo con el modelo de máquina son:
SAM-3001 3 Kg. / 6.6 lbs. de producto abrillantador.
SAS-5001 y SAS-6001 5 Kg. / 11 lbs. de producto abrillantador.

Si el sentido de giro del motor es el correcto el producto abrillantador se repartirá uniformemente en la tolva en sentido ascendente. Cuando el producto abrillantador se ha repartido homogéneamente apagar la máquina.
Si en los modelos trifásicos esto no ocurre así, cambiar el sentido de giro del motor intercambiando dos de las fases en la toma de corriente mural.
Puesta en marcha y parada
Accionar el interruptor general (G). Con la tapa bajada pulsando marcha (A):
-Arrancar el motor y se crea el movimiento ascendente dentro de la cuba que permite la circulación de cubiertos.
-La lámpara UV-c se enciende.
-El control de temperatura se pone en marcha para que el producto abrillantador alcance la temperatura necesaria para el secado y abrillantado del cubierto.
-En los modelos SAM-3001 y SAS-6001 junto con el motor, se pone en marcha el ventilador que evita que el polvo y el producto abrillantador salgan junto con los cubiertos.
-Si pulsamos parada (B) o abrimos la tapa superior la maquina se detiene. En el modelo SAS-6001 actúa el freno motor.
-Desconectar la alimentación por el interruptor general (G).
Control de temperatura y secado de
cubiertos
-Si el producto abrillantador esta frio se conectan las resistencias y se enciende el piloto 2. Al alcanzar la temperatura programada, la resistencia y el piloto 2 se apagan. El piloto de máquina preparada 1 se enciende y se oye un pitido continuo que indica que se puede empezar ha introducir cubiertos por el orificio de alimentación de cubiertos (C). Los cubiertos secos saldrán por la abertura de salida frontal (D).
-Introducir los cubiertos mojados en agua caliente o recién sacados del lavavajillas, es decir, siempre húmedos.
-El producto abrillantador se va enfriando y llega un momento que la resistencia se vuelven a conectar y el piloto 2 se enciende. Veremos que los pilotos de máquina
preparada 1 y resistencia 2 están encendidos. Mientras el piloto de maquina preparada 1 esta encendido seguir introduciendo cubiertos.
-Si debido a exceso de producción, utilizar agua fría… la temperatura del grano sigue bajando el piloto de máquina preparada se apaga y se escucha un pitido intermitente. Indica que es necesario recalentar el producto abrillantador. Dejar de introducir cubiertos y esperar de nuevo a que el piloto 1 se vuelva encender y escuchar el pitido continuo.
Ciclo de secado final del producto abrillantador
Con la máquina parada y la tapa abierta con una pulsación prolongada del pulsador de marcha (A) se enciende el piloto 4 seleccionándose así el ciclo de secado. Bajar la tapa y arrancar el ciclo pulsando de nuevo el pulsador de marcha (A). La máquina arranca y se calienta el grano hasta la temperatura programada. Espera unos minutos en marcha y se para automáticamente finalizando el ciclo.
Realizar este ciclo cuando se considera que el producto abrillantador esta húmedo o la máquina ha tenido un uso intensivo. No es conveniente realizarlo sobre el grano seco.
Para detener el ciclo basta con pulsar parada
(B) o abrir la puerta.
Cambio de grano
Debido al uso, el calentamiento y la humedad, el producto abrillantador se degrada. Cuando el piloto 3 esta encendido indica que es necesario cambiar el producto abrillantador. El piloto se enciende a las 200 horas.
Para cambiar el grano, retirar el producto abrillantador usado por medio de un aspirador. Volver a llenar la tolva con la cantidad de producto abrillantador suministrado por Sammic por el orificio central de alimentación de cubiertos(C).
Para resetear el aviso, con la máquina parada y la puerta abierta realizar una pulsación prolongada del pulsador de parada (B).
Cambio de lámpara UV-c
Con el tiempo de uso la eficacia de la lámpara UV- c disminuye. Cuando el piloto 3 esta parpadeando
es necesario cambiar la lámpara UV-c. El piloto empieza a parpadear a las 1000 horas.
Para resetear el aviso, con la máquina parada y la puerta abierta realizar una pulsación prolongada del pulsador de parada (B).
Ajuste de temperatura
Es necesario acceder a la placa electrónica de control y seleccionar la temperatura girando el único potenciómetro que hay. El rango de temperatura está impreso en la placa.
Capacidades de trabajo
Estas producciones dependen del peso de los cubiertos y de la secuencia de llenado. SAM-3001: Entre 2000 y 2500 Cubiertos / hora SAS-5001: Entre 3500 y 5000 Cubiertos / hora SAS-6001: Entre 3500 y 5000 Cubiertos / hora
Los cubiertos siempre se introducirán paulatinamente siempre y cuando los anteriores desaparezcan dentro del producto abrillantador (entre 5 y 10 cubiertos en cada vez).
Velocidades de carga
SAM-3001 6 Uds. / cada 10 segundos. SAS-5001 14 Uds. / cada10 segundos. SAS-6001 14 Uds. / cada 10 segundos.
Se vigilará que el caudal de salida de cubiertos por el orificio de salida (B) sea homogéneo y continuo.
Esterilización de gérmenes
Las secadoras abrillantadoras SAMMIC cuentan con una lámpara que emite rayos UV- C (E) para la esterilización tanto del cubierto como del producto abrillantador. Esta lámpara está perfectamente homologada y probada, por lo que los cubiertos salen de la máquina desinfectados. Estar expuesto a los rayos
de esta lámpara es perjudicial para los ojos
y la piel. SAMMIC ha tomado todas las precauciones necesarias, el uso anómalo de esta lámpara queda solo en manos del usuario.

Código de errores
Cuando tenemos el parpadeo del piloto 4, ciclo final de secado, nos indica que tenemos algún fallo en la máquina.
-Error sonda: Parpadeo “rápido” que no es posible contar ciclo de “on” y “off”. Comprobar conexiones de la sonda o cambiar de sonda.
-Error de sobrecalentamiento: Parpadeo lento. Algún problema con el rele de la resistencia o la placa electrónica.
Para resetear la alarma apagar por el interruptor general G.
Se puede medir la resistencia de la sonda para verificar su estado. Para ello hay que desconectar sus contactos. Los valores de referencia son:
25 ºC - 10 KΩ.
50 ºC - 4.1 KΩ.
MANTENIMIENTO
IMPORTANTE: Antes de cualquier intervención para la limpieza, revisión o reparación de la secadora abrillantadora, obligatoriamente hay que desconectar la máquina de la red.
Para cualquier cambio de componentes es necesario contactar con el servicio técnico autorizado. Debido a la vibración cualquier actuación incorrecta en la máquina puede dañar la misma.
Cambio de producto abrillantador cada vez que el piloto de cambio 3 se encienda.
Cambio de lámpara UV-c cada vez que piloto de cambio 3 este parpadeando.
Debido al uso y al calentamiento el producto abrillantador desprende polvo. Es necesario retirar el producto abrillantador y limpiar la tapa transparente, la cuba y los componentes accesibles cada cierto tiempo. Si el ventilador o la lámpara UV-c están cubiertas de polvo, puede que no realicen correctamente su función. Llamar al servicio técnico autorizado para su limpieza y revisión.
Antes de arrancar la máquina verificar que esta correctamente asentada en el suelo.
Si se sustituye algún componente en la cuba es necesario dejarlo el las mismas condiciones. Si no respetamos las condiciones de montaje de los componentes, cables… la vibración dañara el recambio en poco tiempo.
Observaciones
Si se deteriora el cable de alimentación, su sustitución deberá ser realizada por un servicio técnico autorizado por SAMMIC.
Si se detecta cualquier anomalía en el funcionamiento, contactar cuanto antes con un servicio técnico autorizado, por SAMMIC.
El exterior de la máquina no se debe limpiar con un chorro directo de agua. Emplear para su limpieza un paño húmedo y cualquier detergente habitual.
Nunca limpiar la tapa de policarbonato que cubre la tolva con disolventes, alcohol o productos limpiacristales puesto que puede aceptar a las propiedades mecánicas de la misma.
INCIDENCIAS DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
La salida de cubiertos no es homogénea
Puede ocurrir:
1.Sentido de giro motor incorrecto. En el caso de motores trifásicos hay que cambiar la polaridad.
2.Atasco de cubiertos. Proceder como sigue: Parar la máquina. Levantar la tapa superior. Verificar que en el camino de ascenso no se ha producido atasco. Si lo hay desmontar la tapa transparente, soltando previamente las rosetas de fijación. Desatascar la zona afectada. Tener precaución al introducir las manos porque puede haber objetos cortantes. Una vez desatascado, volver a montar la tapa apretando rosetas y gomas siempre. No dejar la tapa transparente floja, se incrementa el ruido y se puede romper por fatiga.
3.La cantidad de producto abrillantador es inferior a la especificada.
4.El producto abrillantador está muy seco y ha reducido su volumen. Este efecto es similar a que la cantidad de producto abrillantador fuera menor que la necesaria. Aplicar
cubiertos muy mojados o un poco de agua para que el volumen aumente.
Nota: Con un secado excesivo el volumen y el peso disminuyen. Hay que vigilar estos parámetros.
Sale grano o polvo por la boca de salida
·Demasiado producto abrillantador.
·En los modelos SAM-3001 y SAM-6001 hay algún problema en el ventilador.
·La máquina esta sucia. Retirar el producto abrillantador y limpiar la máquina.
·El producto abrillantador esta muy mojado y tiene demasiado volumen. Dejar de introducir cubiertos y realizar un ciclo de secado.
Nota: Con la humedad el producto abrillantador aumenta su volumen y peso. Hay que vigilar estos parámetros.
La máquina secadora abrillantadora no arranca
·La máquina esta enchufada y hay tensión en la red.
·La tapa superior esta cerrada.
·El imán colocado en la tapa superior no tiene desperfectos.
·Comprobación detección de la tapa: Con la tapa cerrada, si mantenemos pulsada marcha
(A)durante unos segundos y la máquina no arranca pero se enciende el piloto 4 de ciclo de secado significa que la placa electrónica no detecta el imán de la puerta o el detector esta estropeado.
·Puede haber problemas en el teclado: Si al pulsar cualquier tecla se oye un pitido significa que el teclado está bien y que la placa electrónica esta alimentada y funciona. Si no hay pitido puede que el teclado esté estropeado o mal conectado.
·Puede haber problemas con el fusible: Comprobar el estado del fusible que se encuentra dentro de la caja de mandos.
·Puede haber problemas con la placa electrónica: Mirar si llega alimentación a la placa. También hay un led que se enciende cuando se cierra la tapa y se apaga cuando se abre. Repasar el cableado de la placa.
La máquina tiene una vibración excesiva
·Comprobar que la máquina esta asentada correctamente sobre el suelo.
·Que el estado de las ruedas y patas sea adecuada.
·El piloto 2 de resistencia esta encendido pero el piloto de máquina preparada no se enciende. Verificar a temperatura de producto

abrillantador. Si vemos que no aumenta tenemos algún problema con la resistencia o su cableado.
No luce la lámpara UV-C Germicida
·Se ha fundido la lámpara. Cambiar de lámpara.
·Hay algún problema en el portalámparas con la resistencia o el cebador. Cambiar de portalámpara.
·La placa electrónica no activa esta salida.
OTRAS OBSERVACIONES IMPORTANTES
El nivel de ruido de la máquina situada en un suelo firme y correctamente frenado es de:
-En vacío: menor de 70 dB, y el ruido de fondo es de 25dB. La medida se hace 1.6 m de altura y 1 m de distancia.
-En carga: menor de 90dB en las mismas condiciones.
-Este aparato no esta destinado para ser usado por niños o personas cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales estén reducidas, o carezcan de experiencia o conocimiento, salvo si han tenido supervisión o instrucciones relativas al uso del aparato por una persona responsable de su seguridad.
-Los niños deberían ser supervisados para asegurar que no jueguen con el aparato.

MODELS
This manual describes the SAM-3001, SAS5001 and SAS-6001 Dryer Polisher installation, operation and maintenance instructions. The model reference and technical data appear on the identification plate affixed to the machine.

INSTALLATION
For optimum performance and long-lasting preservation of your machine, carefully read and follow the instructions given in this manual.
Location
Place the machine on a firm and perfectly levelled ground.
This condition must be fulfilled for the machine to operate within acceptable limits of vibration. Level the machine using the adjustable feet (F). It is recommended to leave a minimum clearance of 40mm between the machine jacket and the walls or other pieces of equipment which may surround the dryer polisher.
Electric connection
Motor characteristics:
A single-phase motor is supplied for operation on 230V or 120V.
A2P (10A -16A) wall outlet, always within reach, and a sealed plug are required.
Athree-phase motor is supplied for operation on 230V or 400V (factory-set to 400V). To change the voltage setting change the terminal box and motor connection as shown on the wiring diagram.
For three-phase motor powered machines, a 10A 4P wall outlet, always within reach, and a sealed plug are required.
Before connecting the dryer polisher to the mains, check that the motor is prepared to operate on the actual mains voltage.
Power Cable Characteristics
The SAMMIC dryer polishers are delivered complete with a thermoplastics-sheathed power cable 2m in length. THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. The machine earth wire is identified.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL FUNCTIONS
“general switch G”
General light switch, connects and disconnects the machine power supply.
“power switch button I A”
Starts the machine if the cover is in the down position.
With the machine stopped and the door open and by keeping this key pressed down, the final grain drying cycle is selected, and the light indicator switches on (4).
With the machine switched on, by keeping this key pressed down the UV-c lamp switches off for 15 minutes. If you press the on switch button again or stop the machine and switch it on, the lamp comes on immediately.
“power switch button 0 B”
Stops the machine.
To switch off light indicator 3, change of polish granules or change of lamp, with the machine switched off and the door open keep the off switch button pressed down.
“light indicator OK 1”
When the light is on, the granule has reached the working temperature or the pre-selected temperature (see operation).
“resistance light indicator 2”
If the light indicator is lit up the heater is connected, and if it is not lit up the heater is disconnected (see operation).
“change light indicator 3”
If the light indicator is on, the polish granules need to be changed (see change of granules). If the light indicator is blinking the UV-c lamp needs to be changed (see change of UV-c lamp).
“drying light indicator 4”
If the light indicator is off, the drying cycle has been selected (see drying cycle).
If it is blinking, there is a machine failure (see failures code).
OPERATION
Filling polish granules
Switch the machine on (see operation). Fill the hopper with the amount of polish granules supplied by SAMMIC through the central cutlery inlet (C).
SAMMIC supplies a bag of polish granules with each machine and these are the recommended amounts of polish granules according to the machine model:
SAM-3001 3 Kg. / 6.6 lbs. of polish granules. SAS-5001 and SAS-6001: 5 Kg. / 11 lbs. of polish granules.
If the motor direction of rotation is correct, the product will be distributed evenly in the hopper with an ascending movement. Once the granules have been distributed evenly, switch the machine off.
If this does not occur in three-phase models, change the motor rotation direction by interchanging two of the phases in the wall socket.
Start up and stopping
Activate the general switch (G). With the cover down and pressing the on switch button (A):

-As the motor starts, an ascending whirl develops inside the tub, causing the items of cutlery to circulate.
-The UV-c lamp lights up.
-The temperature control switches on so that the granules reach the necessary temperature for drying and polishing the cutlery.
-In the SAM-3001 and SAS-6001 models, the fan starts along with the motor, which prevents dirt and polish coming out with the pieces of cutlery
-If you press stop (B) or open the top cover, the machine stops. In the SAS-6001 mode, the motor brake is activated.
-Disconnect the power supply using the general switch (G).
Cutlery temperature control and drying
-If the polish granules are cold, the heaters are connected and the light indicator 2 switches on. Once the set temperature is reached, the heater and the light indicator 2 switch off. The machine ready light indicator 1 switches on and a continuous beeping noise is heard which means that you can start feeding cutlery in the cutlery inlet (C). The dry cutlery will come out through the front outlet (D).
-It is essential that the cutlery is wet or directly coming from the dishwasher, i.e. always damp, when loaded in the dryer polisher.
-The polish granules cool down and at some point the heaters reconnect and light indicator 2 switches on. You will see that the machine ready light indicators 1 and the heaters 2 are switched on. While the machine ready light indicator 1 is switched on, continue to insert cutlery.
-If there are too many polish granules, use cold water. The granule temperature continues to drop, the machine ready light indicator switches off and an intermittent beeping noise is heard. This means that the polish granules need to be reheated. Stop feeding cutlery and wait until the light indicator 1 switches on again and the continuous beeping noise is heard.
Final polish granule drying cycle
With the machine stopped and the cover open, by keeping the on switch (A) button pressed
down the light indicator 4 switches on and the drying cycle is selected.
Lower the cover and start the cycle by pressing the on switch button (A) again. The machine starts and the granules are heated up to the set temperature.
Wait for a few minutes with the machine on and this will stop automatically, ending the cycle. Run this cycle when you think that the polish granules are damp or the machine has undergone intensive use.
You should not use this cycle with dry granules. To stop the cycle, just press stop (B) or open the door.
Change of granule
Due to use and the presence of water and heat, the effectiveness of the granules is reduced. When the light indicator 3 is switched on, the polish granules need to be changed. The light indicator switches on after 200 hours.
To change the granules, remove used polish granules using a vacuum cleaner. Then pour the amount of polish granules supplied by Sammic into the hopper through the central cutlery feeding hole.
To reset the warning, with the machine off and the door open keep the stop switch button (B) pressed down.
Change of UV-c lamp
Over time and with use the UV-c lamp efficiency is reduced. When the light indicator 3 blinks, it means that the UV-c lamp needs to be changed. The light indicator starts to blink after 1000 hours.

Setting the temperature
You need to access the electronic board and select the temperature by turning the potentiometer. The temperature range is printed on the board.
Performance
Machine throughput depends on the weight of the items of cutlery and the feeding rate.
SAM-3001: 2000 to 2500 pieces / hour SAS-5001: 3500 to 5000 pieces / hour SAS-6001: 3500 to 5000 pieces / hour
Items of cutlery shall be fed gradually, taking care that those previously introduced have disappeared into the granules (from 5 to 10 pieces at a time).
Feeding rates
SAM-3001 6 pieces / every 10 seconds. SAM-5001 14 pieces / every 10 seconds. SAM-6001 14 pieces / every 10 seconds.
Check that the flow of items of cutlery coming out through the outlet (B) is homogeneous and continuous.
Sanitising
The SAMMIC cutlery polisher uses a UV-C lamp (E) for sanitising both the cutlery and the granules.
This lamp has been successfully tested and is duly certified, so cutlery is sanitised. Exposure
to the radiation of this lamp is harmful to the
eyes and skin. SAMMIC has implemented all the necessary precautionary measures; any improper use of the lamp is the user’s sole responsibility.
Error code
When the light indicator 4, end of drying cycle is blinking, it means that there is a machine failure.
·Probe error : “Quick” blinking that means that there is no “on” and “off” cycle. Check the probe connections or change the probe.
·Overheating error: Slow blinking. There is a problem with the heater relay or the electronic board.
To reset the alarm, switch off the general switch G.
You can measure the probe heater to check its state.
To do so, disconnect the contact switches. The reference values are :
25 ºC - 10 KΩ.
50 ºC - 4.1 KΩ.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before cleaning or carrying out maintenance of your dryer polisher, always unplug it from the mains.
If any components need changing, contact a SAMMIC authorised technical assistance service. Due to the machine’s vibration, any incorrect action could damage it.
Change of polish granules each time the change light indicator 3 lights up.
Change of UV-c lamp each time the change light indicator 3 blinks.
Due to use and the presence of heat, the polish granules emit dust. You must remove the polish granules and clean the transparent cover, the hopper and the accessible components once every certain period. If the fan or the UV-c lamp are covered in dust, they may not work properly. Call the authorised technical assistance service to clean and check them.
Before starting up the machine, check that it is stands firmly on the ground.
If any component is replaced in the hopper, it must be left in the same condition as before. If the component, power cable, etc. assembly instructions are not followed, the vibratory action will damage the spare part in a short space of time.
Note
If the power cable should get damaged, it would be necessary to fit a new one; such a replacement may be done only by a SAMMIC authorised technical assistance service.
Should you observe any malfunction, contact a SAMMIC authorised technical assistance service as soon as possible.
Never power clean the outside of the machine. Use a wet cloth and mild detergent for cleaning. Never clean the polycarbonate hopper cover with solvents, alcohol, window-cleaning fluids or any abrasive materials, since they may be harmful to the mechanical properties of the cover.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Cutlery discharge is not even
The cause might be:
1.Motor direction of rotation is incorrect. In the case of three-phase motors, change the polarity.
2.Cutlery jam. In this event: Stop the machine. Lift the top cover. Check for jams in the upward path. If any, remove the transparent cover after loosening the fixing knobs. Clear the obstruction. Be careful when introducing your hands, as there may be sharp items. Replace the cover and fix it with the rubber washers and knobs. The transparent cover should not be left loose, because this would lead to an increase in noise and a possible fatigue fracture of the cover.
3.The amount of polish granules is less than specified.
4.The polish granules are very dry and have reduced in volume. This effect is similar to when the amount of polish granules is less than necessary. Use very wet cutlery or add a bit of water to increase the volume.
NOTE With excessive drying, the volume and weight decrease. This must be supervised.
Granules or dust are coming out of the
outlet
·Too many polish granules.
·In the case of models SAM-3001 and SAM6001, there is a problem with the fan.
·The machine is dirty. Remove the polish granules and clean the machine.
·The polish granules are very wet and there is too much volume. Stop feeding cutlery and run a drying cycle.
Note: With the presence of water, the polish granules increase in volume and weight. This must be supervised.
The dryer-polisher will not start
·The machine is plugged in and there is power in the mains.
·The top cover is closed.
·The magnet on the top cover is not damaged.
·Top cover detection check: With the cover closed, if you hold down "run" (A) for one second and the machine does not start up but the drying cycle indicator light 4 lights up, this means that the electronic board does not detect the door magnet or the detector is faulty.
·There may be problems with the keypad: If you hear a beep when you press any button, this means that the keypad is OK and that the electronic board has a power supply and is working. If there is no beep, the keypad might be faulty or badly connected.
·There might be problems with the fuse: Check the condition of the fuse in the control box.
·There might be problems with the electronic board: Look to see if the power reaches the board. There is also an LED that lights up when the cover is closed and turns off when it is opened. Check the wiring and the board.
The dryer-polisher is vibrating excessively
·Check that the machine stands firmly on the ground.
·The wheels and legs are in good condition.
·The heater light indicator 2 is lit up but the ready machine light indicator is not switched on. Check the polish granule temperature. If you notice that it is not heating up, there is a problem with the heater or the wiring.
The UV-C Germicide lamp does not light up
·The lamp has burnt out. Change the lamp.
·There is a problem in the lamp holder with the heater or the starter unit. Change the lamp holder.
·The electronic board does not activate this outlet.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Sound level of the machine standing on a firm ground and correctly braked is:
-When empty: less than 70 dB and the background noise is 25 dB. Measurement is made at a height of 1.6m and 1m away from the source.

-When loaded: less than 90 dB under the above mentioned conditions.
-This machine is not designed for use by children or persons with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or by inexperienced or unskilled persons, unless they have been supervised or trained in using these machines by a person responsible for their safety.
-Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the machine.
