Installing Your 1394-CPDC Cables
This document illustr ates the installation of the 1394-CPDC cables
and is used in conjunction with the 1394 Digital AC Multi-Axis
Motion Control Sy stem User Manua l ( publicati on 1394- 5.0) . You can
link two 139 4 syste ms toge ther usi ng e ither a 1 .5 mete r (4.92 ft) cable
(catalog number 1394-CPDC-0 015) or 3 meter (9.84 ft) cable
(catalog number 1394-CPDC-0030).
Wiring 1394-DCLMs Together
To wire 1394-DCLMs together:
1.
Remove the power plug from the front underside of each 1394DCLM using a phillips screwdriver.

Connect an end of the cable to each 1394-DCLM.

Secure the cable to the 1394-DCLMs with the provide d scre ws
(4M x 10) using 12-15in./lbs of torque.
