Use as a solid fuel lighter /
use of the grill lighter
nozzle (8)
• Check that the solid fuel lighter
is in the correct position.
• Isolate from the mains before
removing it from the re.
• Allow the solid fuel lighter to
cool down before packing it
away.
• The connection cable or other
ammable materials must not
come into contact with the hot
parts of the solid fuel lighter.
Caution: This is how to avoid
accidents and injuries by an
electric shock:
Electrical safety
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the details on the
type plate.
• Connect the device only to a
socket with a residual current
circuit breaker (RCCB) with a
tripping current of not more
than 30 mA.
• Do not use the mains cable to
pull the plug from the socket.
Protect the mains cable from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Switch the device off and pull
the mains plug out of the socket
if the mains cable is damaged.
If the connection cable of this
device is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer

• Do not connect a damaged
mains cable to the power supply. Do not touch a damaged
mains cable as long as it is
connected to the power supply.
A damaged mains cable can
result in voltage-carrying parts
being touched.
Initial start-up
When used for the rst time, some smoke
may escape. The smoke is caused by bin-
ders which are removed from the insulating
lm of the heater by the heat during rst
use. To ensure that the smoke escapes quic-
kly, the device should be placed on the
stand area. Be sure to ventilate the wor-
king environment during rst use.
If the smoke/odour is too strong, move the
initial start-up to outside!
Operation
Switching ON and OFF
Change the step switch (2) to level "I". The
device reaches an air quantity of 300 l /
min at 350 ° C.
Change the step switch (2) to level "II". The
device reaches an air quantity of 500 l /
min at 550 ° C.
Change the step switch to level “0” to
switch it off.

Use as a oor-mounted
appliance
You can use the device as a
oor-mounted appliance. For this
purpose, place the device on the
two bases (9).
Ensure stability and safety and a
heat-resistant surface.
The position as a oor-mounted appli-
ance is also ideally suited to allowing
the device to cool down after use.
Use of adapter nozzles
Before exchanging adapter noz-
zles, the adapter nozzle (5/6/7/8)
and blow-off pipe (4) must be suf-
ciently cooled down to avoid burns.
Various uses are possible. Always
comply with the safety instructions
and always handle the device with
care and caution.
Restrictor
Place the restrictor (5)
on the blow-off pipe (4).
Use the restrictor (5) to obtain selective
heat.
When using the restrictor (5), pay
particular attention to the heat
development at the cutting point. If
in doubt, do not stay in the same
place for too long in order to avoid
overheating the workpiece.
Surface nozzle
Place the surface nozzle (6) on the blow-off
pipe (4).
Use the surface nozzle (6) to obtain heat
over a large surface.
When using the surface nozzle (6),
pay particular attention to the heat
development in adjacent locations
of the cutting point. So that in cases
of doubt, no adjacent component is
overheated.
Spatula nozzle
Place the spatula nozzle (7) on the blow-off
pipe (4).
The spatula form of the nozzle serves the
purpose of the targeted hot air supply to
paint and lacquer surfaces. The paints and
lacquers can be removed with a spatula
and scraper. The spatula (7) itself is not
suitable for removing paint.
Grill lighter nozzle
Place the grill lighter nozzle (8) on the
blow-off pipe (4).
Change the device with the step switch (2)
to level "II". Place the grill lighter nozzle
(8) below the charcoal. Make sure that the
openings of the grill lighter nozzle (8) are
not covered by charcoal as this creates
heat accumulation in the unit, which is a
potential re hazard In just a few minutes
the charcoal is ignited.
Never use other methods for igni-
ting charcoal at the same time while using the grill lighter nozzle (8).
