new appliance. You have selected a
high-quality product.
The operating instructions are part of this
product. They contain important information on safety, usage and disposal. Before
using the product, familiarise yourself with all
operating and safety instructions.
Use the product only as described and for the
specified areas of application. Please also pass
on these operating instructions to any future owner.
Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for the application of water-based dispersion and latex paints
to interior and exterior walls. Use this power tool
only if you can fully appreciate all the functions
and perform them without any restrictions or have
received the appropriate instruction.
Any other usage of or modification to the appliance
is deemed to be improper and carries a significant
risk of accidents. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage(s) resulting from improper
usage. The appliance is not meant for commercial
use.

WARNING!
► The vibration level varies in accordance with
the use of the power tool and may be higher
than the value specified in these instructions
in some cases. Regularly using the power
tool in such a way may cause you to underestimate the vibration load. Try to keep the
vibration loads as low as possible. Measures
to reduce the vibration load include, e.g.
wearing gloves and limiting the working
time. Wherein all states of operation must be
included (e.g. times when the power tool is
switched off and times where the power tool
is switched on but running without load).

Failure to follow the warnings and instructions
may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious

Save all warnings and instructions for future
reference.
The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your
mains-operated (corded) power tool or batteryoperated (cordless) power tool.
1. Work area safety
a) Keep your work area clean and well lit.
Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive
atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools
create sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while
operating a power tool. Distractions can cause
you to lose control.
2. Electrical safety
a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.
Never modify the plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs
and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric
shock.
b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded
surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and
refrigerators. There is an increased risk of elec-
tric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for
carrying, pulling or unplugging the power
tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled
cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use
an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces
the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location
is unavoidable, use a residual current device
(RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD
reduces the risk of electric shock.

3. Personal safety
a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and
use common sense when operating a power
tool. Do not use a power tool while you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication. A moment of inattention while
operating power tools may result in serious
personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always
wear eye protection. Protective equipment such
as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or
hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch
is in the off position before connecting to a
power source and/or battery pack, picking
up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools
with your finger on the switch or energising
power tools that have the switch on invites
accidents.
d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench before
turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key
left attached to a rotating part of the power
tool may result in personal injury.
e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. This enables better control
of the power tool in unexpected situations.
f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewel-
lery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
g) If devices are provided for the connection of
dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure
these are connected and properly used.
Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related
hazards.
4. Power tool use and care
a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
power tool for your application. The correct
power tool will do the job better and safer at
the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does
not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source
and/or the battery pack from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the power tool accidentally.
d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to
operate the power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, breakage of
parts and any other condition that may affect
the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have
the power tool repaired before use. Many ac-
cidents are caused by poorly maintained power
tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly
maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to bind and are easier to
control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool
bits etc. in accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working conditions
and the work to be performed. Use of the
power tool for operations different from those
intended could result in a hazardous situation.

5. Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.
b) To avoid potential risks, if the appliance
power cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its customer service or
by a qualified technician.
Additional safety instructions for
paint rollers
■ Do not use the PAINT ROLLER for PAINTING
flammable substances.
The PAINT ROLLER must not be cleaned with
flammable solvents.
■ Do not PAINT with any substances whose
hazard levels are not known to you.
WARNING!
► Please follow the warnings, information and
data sheets provided by the paint manufacturer.
Wear a mask!
The inhalation of paint mist and solvent
vapours is harmful to health.
■ Work only in sufficiently ventilated rooms.
Wear safety goggles!
This will protect your eyes from splashing
or leaking paint.
Working procedures
■ Note the mains voltage! The power source
voltage must conform to the details given on the
power tool nameplate. Power tools marked with
230 V can also be operated on a 220 V circuit.
■ Always place the base unit and paint bucket on
a level surface. When working on a ladder or a
sloping surface, there is a risk that the base unit
and the paint bucket could tip over. This could
cause injuries and paint spills.
■ Keep other electrical appliances at a safe dis-
tance while using the paint roller or cover them
up adequately. Possible paint splashes could
lead to accidents and soiling.
■ Wear appropriate work clothing. Paint is dif-
ficult to remove from clothing.
■ Avoid any constrictions to the pipe system, e.g.
due to squeezing, bending or tugging! Do not
stand on the delivery hose.
■ Keep the hose system well away from heat
sources.
■ To avoid damage, do not carry or drag the ap-
pliance by its hoses.
■ If you intend to paint an entire room, paint the
ceiling first and then the walls.
■ Start near light sources (e.g. windows) and then
work away from them.
■ Always paint an entire wall before taking a
long break from work.
■ If the extension adapter
is mounted, you
can hold the handle for more comfortable
working with both hands.
■ Always switch the pump off at the on /off
switch first before switching off the appliance
at the main switch .

Preparation for work
Prepare the surface to be painted
The surface to be painted must be clean, dry
and free of grease. When working indoors, any
surfaces that have not been covered could get
soiled. Therefore, prepare the surrounding areas
thoroughly:
- Cover or tape over floors, furniture, doors and
window frames.
- Place sufficient covering material (plastic sheeting,
cardboard) under the paint bucket and base unit.
Prepare the paint
- Prepare the paint according to the manufacturer's
instructions.
- Stir the paint thoroughly and dilute it if necessary.
Prepare paint roller
♦ Before first use, dampen the paint roller evenly
with clear water and wring out the excess.
Preparable coating materials
Water-based dispersion and latex paints for interior
and exterior walls.
Non-workable coating materials
Solvent-based paints and coatings and materials
containing heavily abrasive components.
Assembly
♦ Press the side locks on the handle downwards.
Fit the roller bracket , paying attention to the
guide slots (see fig. A).
♦ Release the locks again to fix the roller bracket
in place.
♦ Screw the extension adapter
into the handle
from below (see fig. B).
♦ To ensure an easy assembling, apply a thin coat
of lubricating grease
at the marked points.
(see fig. K + L).
NOTE
► You can also attach standard extensions for
paint rollers to the handle
(can be bought
separately in DIY stores). Push the extension
into the extension adapter
mounted for
this purpose. Plugging or screw the extension of this in one of two mounted extension
adapter
.
Mounting/changing the paint roller
♦ First push the inner roller to the paint roller
(see fold out page).
♦ Insert now the cap
in the paint roller
(see fold out page).
Controls on the appliance
Main switch :
♦ Switches the appliance on (“I”) and off (“O”).
On/off switch paint pump
:
♦ Press once and release to switch on the pump
to supply paint to the paint roller
.
♦ To switch off the pump, press the button again.
Operation
♦ Hold the height-adjustable paint bucket attach-
ment to the side and pull upwards (see fig. C).
♦ Place the paint bucket on the section “X” (see
fig. D) so that the handle of the paint bucket is
between the two brackets.
NOTE
► Important: The handle on the paint bucket
must be between the two brackets. Otherwise, the bucket could tip and spill paint
while being carried.
♦ Push the height-adjustable paint bucket attach-
ment
downwards to fix the paint bucket in
place (see fig. E).
♦ Fix the intake hose
into the bracket and push
it down to the bottom of the paint bucket (see
fig. F).
♦ Switch on the appliance using the main switch
.

♦ Press the on/off switch on the handle to start
the pump, drawing paint into the roller via the
hose (depending on the type of paint, this can
take up to 1 minute).
♦ Once the paint has reached the paint roller
and this has soaked with color, you can start
painting.
♦ Turn off the on/off switch
while painting.
♦ Press the on/off switch
when you need to
re-color of the paint roller .
Work breaks of up to 4 hours
♦ Switch off the appliance.
♦ Place the paint roller
immediately into a
plastic bag and tie it air-tight.
♦ Leave the intake hose in the paint.
Longer work breaks
♦ Switch off the appliance.
♦ Place the paint roller
in a bucket filled
with water.
♦ Leave the intake hose
in the paint.
♦ Sprinkle a little water onto the surface of the
paint in the paint container to stop it from forming a skin.
Shutting down and cleaning
Thorough cleaning is essential for proper
operation of the paint application appliance.
No warranty claims will be accepted for
insufficient or improper cleaning.
NOTE
► Only use water for cleaning. Ideally, use luke-
warm water with a little dishwashing liquid.
♦ Switch off the appliance on the main switch
(“O”)
.
♦ Scrape the paint roller
off on the edge of
the paint container.
♦ Remove the paint roller
by pressing the
locks on the roller bracket .
♦ Hold the paint roller
firmly with a cloth
and push the cap
downwards to lever it out
(see fig. G). Pull the inner roller
out of the
paint roller
.
♦ Clean all parts of the paint roller
in luke-
warm water.
♦ Hang the end of the intake hose
in a bucket
of water (see fig. H).
♦ Switch on the appliance on the main switch
(“I”)
.
♦ Hold the roller bracket
over the paint bucket
and press the on/off switch to pump the
paint out of the hose into the paint bucket (see
fig. I).
♦ Switch the pump off again as soon as water
starts coming out of the roller bracket
.
♦ Hang the roller bracket
in a bucket of water
(see fig. J). If available, you can also hang the
roller bracket in an empty bucket. This will
prevent dirty water from being pumped back
into the system and improves the cleaning
effect.
♦ Press the on/off switch
to start the selfcleaning process. Circulate water through the
appliance for about 10 minutes to clean it. If
necessary, replace the water.
NOTE
► It is possible that minor paint residues remain
in the hose. This is normal and has no negative influence on future work.
CAUTION!
► After cleaning, pump all of the water out of
the appliance and the hose. If any water
remains in the pump, there is a risk of ice
damage if the temperature falls below 0°C.
♦ Remove the roller bracket
from the handle .
♦ Wipe all parts thoroughly to assure proper
functioning.

► Do not immerse the handle
in water dur-
ing cleaning.
♦ If required, wipe of the other parts of the appli-
ance.
Storage
CAUTION!
► Drain and dry the appliance before storing it
in a frost-free location.
■ Store the appliance so that it cannot be used by
unauthorised persons.
Disposal
The packaging consists of environmentally
friendly material. It can be disposed of in
the local recycling containers.
Do not dispose of power tools in
your normal household waste!
European Directive 2012/19/EU requires that
worn-out power tools be collected separately and
recycled in an environmentally compatible manner.
Your local community or municipal authorities can
provide information on how to dispose of the wornout appliance.
Warranty
This appliance is provided with a 3-year
warranty, valid from the date of purchase.
The appliance has been manufactured with
care and inspected meticulously prior to
delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof
of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please contact your Customer Service unit by
telephone. This is the only way to guarantee
the free return of your goods.
The warranty only covers claims for material and
manufacturing defects, not for damage sustained
during carriage, components subject to wear and
tear or damage to fragile components such as
switches or batteries. This appliance is intended
solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes. The warranty shall be deemed void in
cases of misuse or improper handling, use of force
and modifications/repairs which have not been
carried out by one of our authorised Service
centres. Your statutory rights are not restricted by
this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged
by repairs effected under the warranty. This also
applies to replaced and repaired components. Any
damage and defects present at the time of
purchase must be reported immediately after
unpacking, but no later than two days after the
date of purchase. Repairs carried out after expiry
of the warranty period shall be subject to charge.

Fontos tudnivalókat tartalmaz a bizton ságra, használatra és ártalmatlanításra
vonatkozóan. A termék használata előtt ismerkedjen

Rendeltetésszerű használat
A készülék vízbázisú diszperziós és latexfestékek
bel- és kültéri falakra történő felhordására szolgál.
Csak akkor használja az elektromos szerszámot,
ha teljesen fel tudja becsülni a funkcióit és korlátozás nélkül tudja működtetni vagy erre megfelelő
utasításokat kapott.
A készülék minden más felhasználása nem rendeltetésszerűnek minősül és jelentős balesetveszélyt

FIGYELMEZTETÉS!
► A rezgésszint az elektromos kéziszerszám al-
kalmazásától függően változik és egyes esetekben a jelen útmutatókban megadott érték
felett lehet. A rezgésterhelés alulbecsült lehet,
ha az elektromos kéziszerszámot rendszeresen így használják. Próbálja a rezgésterhelést
a lehető legalacsonyabb szinten tartani.
A rezgésterhelés csökkentésére tett intézkedések például a kesztyű viselése az eszköz
használata során és a munkaidő korlátozása.
Ebben az esetben a működési ciklus minden
részét figyelembe kell venni (például amikor
az elektromos kéziszerszám ki van kapcsolva,
és amikor bár be van kapcsolva, de terhelés
nélkül fut).

figyelmen kívül hagyása áramütést, tüzet és/
vagy súlyos sérüléseket okozhat.
Őrizze meg az összes biztonsági előírást és
utasítást későbbi használatra.
A biztonsági előírásokban használt „elektromos
kéziszerszám“ kifejezés hálózatról (hálózati kábelen át) üzemeltetett elektromos kéziszerszámokra
és akkumulátoros elektromos kéziszerszámokra
(hálózati kábel nélkül) vonatkozik.
1. Munkahelyi biztonság
a) Tartsa tisztán és jól megvilágított állapotban
munkaterületét. A rendetlenség és a rosszul
megvilágított munkaterület balesetet okozhat.
b) Ne dolgozzon a készülékkel olyan robba-
násveszélyes környezetben, ahol gyúlékony
folyadékok, gázok vagy porok vannak. Az
elektromos kéziszerszámok szikráznak, amik
meggyújthatják a port vagy gőzöket.
c) Az elektromos kéziszerszám használata köz-
ben ne engedjen közel gyermekeket és más
személyeket. Ha elterelik a figyelmét, elveszítheti
uralmát a készülék felett.
2. Elektromos biztonság
a) Az elektromos kéziszerszám csatlakozódugó-
jának illeszkednie kell a csatlakozóaljzatba.
A csatlakozót semmilyen módon nem szabad
megváltoztatni.
A földelt elektromos kéziszerszámokat ne
használja adapterrel. A nem módosított csatla-
kozó és a megfelelő csatlakozóaljzat használata csökkenti az elektromos áramütés veszélyét.
b) Ügyeljen arra, hogy teste ne érintkezzen
földelt felülettel, mint például csővezeték, fűtőtest, tűzhely vagy hűtőszekrény felületével.
Az áramütés kockázata nagyobb, ha a teste
földelve van.
c) Óvja az elektromos kéziszerszámot esőtől
vagy nedves környezettől. Növeli az áramütés
kockázatát, ha víz kerül az elektromos készülékbe.
d) Ne használja a vezetéket rendeltetésellenes
célra, ne vigye és ne akassza fel az elektromos kéziszerszámot a kábelnél fogva és ne
a vezetéknél fogva húzza ki a csatlakozót
az aljzatból. Tartsa távol a vezetéket hőtől,
olajtól, éles szegélyektől vagy mozgó alkatrészektől. A sérült vagy összecsavarodott vezeték
növeli az áramütés kockázatát.
e) Ha a szabadban dolgozik az elektromos ké-
ziszerszámmal, akkor csak olyan hosszabbító
kábelt használjon, ami kültéren is engedélyezett. A kültéri használatra alkalmas hosszabbító
kábellel csökkentheti az áramütés veszélyét.
f) Ha az elektromos kéziszerszám nedves helyen
használata elkerülhetetlen, akkor használjon
hibaáram védőkapcsolót. A hibaáram védő-
kapcsoló használata jelentős mértékben csökkenti az elektromos áramütés kockázatát.
