Seismic Restraint Kit
This document provides a step by step interpretation of the technical specifications for installing
Seismic Restraint brackets on a 1-, 2-, and 3-cell cabinet.
The Omnicell Seismic Restraint kit contains the following parts.

It is the responsibility of the facility to acquire the specific anchor type required for each installation.
Seismic Restraint Brackets
This document is divided into four sections that explain the processes that make up the overall installation of Seismic Restraint Brackets:
Positioning the Brackets and Drilling the Holes
Mounting the Brackets
Fitting the Omnicell cabinet onto the Brackets
Note: The steps are sequential and should be performed in order.
Bracket Positioning
1.Locate the exact space the Omnicell cabinet will occupy permanently – take into account the amount of space needed to house the Omnicell cabinet plus additional space to be able to reach the switch at the rear of the PC Box.
2.Remove the two rear leveling feet from the Omnicell cabinet.
