The

can
discharge printed copies and stack them without jamming, when the paper length falls in the range of 210 mm to 297 mm.
The OF-8/8M can detect the no paper condition with a
photosensor. When the pipe? has run out, the LCD
displaywill show “NO PAPER”,, and an ALARM lamp
goes
on together with an alarm tone.
1)
The paper cutter automatically cuts to the length of
:
the original document.
,2)
Manual cutting in standby mode can be performed
iti’the
following way: Pressing the COPY key causes a message confirmation
reportto
exit, then the recording
paper will be cut.

34 Overheat protection
Specifications
Heat alarm state:
Higher than 70°C at the printing head unit base.
In
case~of
the OF-S: When an heat alarm state detected during reception, OF-8 interrupts the reception as follows:
-
LCD displays “HEAT ALARM”.
-
Generates an alarm tone.
- Transmits a DCN signal in response to an EOP/EOM/MPS
signal from the remote station and disconnects the line. If reception continues longer than 20 seconds from the heat alarm detection time, the OF-8 transmits a DCN signal and disconnectsthe line.
Incase
of the OF-8M:
Even
after~an
heat alarm state detected during reception, the OF-8M continues receiving by storing a message in
memoryif
memory is available.
In case that memory is not available, the same process as
the OF-8 is carried out.
