2. Alphanumeric display
Assists the caller by providing visual information relating to the calling number and party's
name, number dialed, call status, feature activation and user prompts, as well as a clock and
timer.
3. Line/feature access keys
8/16/24 keys/lamps (dual colour) can be used in any combination for the line (extension or
exchange) selection, speed dialing or features you can access. Example features:
Press to terminate the established call and reseize internal dial tone.
5. Function key
Used to activate terminal setup functions and to program One-Touch Speed Dial/Feature Keys.
Terminal setup functions include:
• Microphone on/off : FNC+1
• Receiver volume : FNC+2
• Ringer tone : FNC+3 (keep pressing for tone 1, 2, 3 or 4.)
• Hands-free on/off : FNC+5 (on) FNC+6 (off)
6. Conference button
To establish a conference call. A red indicator provides visual confirmation that a conference is
in session. See instructions below.
7. Last number redial key
Used to activate last number called and speed dialing. (Lift handset and press LNR/SPD to
select.
Then press # to dial the selected number.)
8. Speaker button
To control the built-in speaker for handsfree dialling and monitoring. Full handsfree dialling
operation is a standard feature. A red indicator provides visual confirmation that the speaker is
on.
9. Answer button
When the light on this key is lit, press to answer a waiting call.
10. Transfer button
To transfer call, or make a second call.
11. Hold button
To place a call on hold. Note: Press twice to place a call on exclusive hold (no-one else can pick
up.) To retrieve the held call lift the handset and press the flashing line. You can also put a call
on hold then make another call. You can swap between the two calls by pressing call hold, or
hang up on second call and original will ring back.
