1.INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek Connect 310 UHD™! It allows you to use 1 cable to connect 3 HDMI sources to your TV, without any loss of signal or encryption. It's ideal when your TV doesn't have enough HDMI inputs, or if you want to connect the devices to your TV using just one cable. Examples of HDMI sources are game consoles such
as a PlayStation or Xbox, Blu-ray players, digital TV decoders and all other HDMI devices. The Connect 310 UHD™ supports Ultra HD (4k), Full HD
(1080p), HDCP 2.2 and all 3D formats, making it suitable for all your existing and future equipment.

4.INSTALLATION
Before installation:
Turn off all devices (TV and HDMI sources) before connecting them to the Connect 310 UHD™. If a device cannot be turned off, please remove the plug from the socket.
Only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables for the best picture and sound quality. Using too much force to connect or disconnect the HDMI cables may damage them.

1.Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI sources (such as game consoles, Blu-ray players and Digital TV Decoders) to the HDMI ports marked "HDMI input".
2.Use an HDMI cable to connect the TV to the HDMI port marked "HDMI output".
3.If required, connect the IR receiver to the "IR" input in order to continue to operate it when it is positioned out of sight, for example, in a closed cabinet. Remember to position the IR receiver itself within the remote control's line of sight.
4.The Connect 310 UHD™ is energy efficient and is powered by the connected HDMI devices, thus requiring no power adapter.
5.Pull the plastic strip from the remote control's battery compartment to activate the battery and remove the protective film from the top.

Switching between connected HDMI devices
The Connect 310 UHD™ allows you to choose which HDMI source is displayed on the TV. If you turn on one of the HDMI sources, it will automatically switch to the correct input. If multiple HDMI sources are turned on, the Connect 310 UHD™ will automatically switch to the HDMI source that was activated last. If you want to select another HDMI source, please use the remote control or the "Select" button on the front.
Note: Automatic switching must be supported by the HDMI source. If it is not supported, you should manually select the appropriate HDMI source.

6.FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No (or poor) image and sound
If you experience poor or no picture after connecting the HDMI switcher, please try to identify the problem by connecting the devices to your screen (TV, monitor or projector) one by one. This allows you to determine whether the problem is with the HDMI sources, the HDMI cables, the HDMI switcher or the screen.
If none of your connected HDMI devices provides a 5V power supply via the HDMI cable, you need to power the HDMI switcher via the USB cable. Use the supplied USB power cable and plug it into any available USB port on your other devices, or use a standard USB power adapter.
For the best picture and sound quality, only use High Speed HDMI® certified cables.
Do not use HDMI cables longer than those specified in the technical data.
Check the HDMI cables and/or connectors for damage.
Both the HDMI source and your screen should fully support HDMI.
Check that your HDMI sources and screen support HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) copy protection.
Incorrect 3D display
Please check whether the HDMI source is set to display 3D and/or it is set to automatic.
Both the HDMI source and your HD screen should support the same 3D formats.
Please check that 3D is displayed correctly by connecting the HDMI source directly to the HD display with an HDMI cable.

UHD™!.Sie können 3 HDMI Quellen mit 1. Kabel an Ihren Fernseher anschließen, ohne jeglichen Signaloder Verschlüsselungsverlust. Ideal, wenn Ihr Fernseher zu wenig HDMI Eingänge hat oder wenn Sie die Geräte mit nur 1. Kabel an Ihren Fernseher anschließen möchten. Beispiele von HDMI Quellen sind: Spielcomputer wie PlayStation und XBox, Blu-Ray-Player, digitaler TV Decoder und alle anderen HDMI
Geräte. Der Connect 310 UHD™ unterstützt Ultra HD (4k), Full HD
(1080p), HDCP 2.2 und alle 3D Formate und ist somit für alle heutigen und zukünftigen Geräte geeignet.

4.INSTALLATION
Bevor Sie beginnen:
Schalten Sie alle Geräte (Fernseher und HDMI Quellen) bevor Sie diese an den Connect 310 UHD™ anschließen zunächst aus.
Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, falls diese nicht ausgeschaltet werden können.
Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bildund Tonqualität ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel. Verwenden Sie wenig Kraft, um die HDMI Kabel anzuschließen oder loszukoppeln; diese könnten sonst beschädigen.

1.Schließen Sie HDMI Quellen (wie Spielcomputer, Blu-Ray Player und digitaler TV Decoder) mit einem HDMI Kabel an die "HDMI Input“
Anschlüsse an.
2.Verbinden Sie den Fernseher mit einem HDMI Kabel an den HDMI Output Anschluss an.
3.Wenn sich Ihr IR Empfänger außer Sicht befindet wie beispielsweise in einem verschlossenen Schrank und Sie diesen wie gehabt bedienen möchten, können Sie, wenn gewünscht, den IR Empfänger an den “IR” Eingang anschließen. Stellen Sie den IR Empfänger jedoch in Sichtweite Ihrer Fernbedienung auf.
4.Der Connect 310 UHD™ ist energiesparend und verwendet den
Strom der angeschlossenen HDMI Geräte. Ein Speisungsadapter wird nicht benötigt.
5.Ziehen Sie den Plastikstreifen aus dem Batteriefach der Fernbedienung, um die Batterie zu aktivieren und entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie an der Oberseite.
5.ANWENDUNG
Schalten Sie zwischen den angeschlossenen HDMI Geräten.
Mit dem 310 UHD™ wählen Sie, welche HDMI Quelle auf Ihrem
Fernseher wiedergegeben wird. Wenn Sie eine dieser HDMI Quellen einschalten, wird diese automatisch in den entsprechenden Eingang schalten. Sind mehrere HDMI Quellen bereits eingeschaltet, so wird der
Connect 310 UHD™ automatisch zur letztmals aktivierten HDMI Quelle schalten. Verwenden sie die Fernbedienung oder die “Select“ Taste an der Vorderseite, wenn Sie eine andere HDMI Quelle anwählen möchten. Bemerkung: Automatisches Schalten muss durch die HDMI Quelle unterstützt werden. Wird dieses nicht unterstützt, müssen Sie selbst die entsprechende HDMI Quelle selektieren.

6.HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Kein (oder schlechtes) Bild und Ton
Wenn Sie nach dem Anschließen des HDMI Switch kein, oder ein schlechtes Bild empfangen, versuchen Sie dann die Geräte Stück für Stück an Ihren Schirm anzuschließen (TV, Monitor oder Projektor), um zu sehen, wo das Problem liegt. Auf diese Art können Sie ermitteln ob es an den HDMI Quellen, den HDMI Kabeln, dem HDMI Switch oder dem Schirm liegt.
Wenn keines Ihrer angeschlossenen HDMI Geräte 5 V Speisung über das HDMI Kabel liefert, müssen sie den HDMI Switcher über das USB Kabel mit Strom versehen. Verwenden Sie dazu das enthaltene USB Speisungskabel und schließen Sie dieses an einen willkürlichen, freien USB Anschluss eines Ihrer übrigen Geräte an oder verwenden Sie einen regulären USB Speisungsadapter.
Verwenden Sie zum Erhalt einer optimalen Bildund Tonqualität ausschließlich High Speed HDMI® zertifizierte Kabel.
Verwenden Sie keine HDMI Kabel, die länger sind als in den technischen Daten aufgeführt.
Überprüfen Sie die HDMI Kabel und/oder Anschlüsse auf Beschädigungen.
Sowohl die HDMI Quelle wie Ihr Bildschirm muss HDMI vollständig unterstützen.
Prüfen Sie, ob Ihre HDMI Quellen und Bildschirm das Verschlüsselungssystem HDCP (Highbandwidth Digital Content Protection) unterstützen.
Keine korrekte 3D Wiedergabe
Überprüfen Sie, ob die HDMI Quelle auf 3D Wiedergabe eingestellt und/oder ob diese auf automatisch eingestellt ist.
Sowohl die HDMI Quelle wie Ihr HD Bildschirm müssen dieselben 3D Daten unterstützen.
Überprüfen Sie, ob 3D korrekt wiedergegeben wird, indem Sie die HDMI Quelle mit einem HDMI Kabel direkt an den HD Bildschirm anschließen.
