The PV6111W incorporates refined technologies to optimize image quality and durable home theater enjoyment. An HD contrast enhancer and color purity processor (at 30 MHz) are utilized to generate a faithful reproduction with accurate and vivid color reproduction. For reduced flicker and smooth edges a DDFC (Digital Double Format Converter) transfers conventional broadcasts to 480P and then further converts them to 1080i images. The PV6111W is equipped with 3D Q sound processing with 4 built in speaker option, delivering a sound field with natural expansion and greater sense of depth. A virtual surround mode is optional with two speakers connected to a DTV decoder and a DVD player. The PV6111W provides all of the functionality via the in/output terminals to optimize sound processing through an extensive home entertainment system.
