• The subwoofer and satellite speakers are magnetically shielded, and can be placed
next to the computer monitor without affecting screen images.

Operation

• To increase the volume, rotate the master volume control up on the remote control
unit. To decrease the volume, rotate the master volume control down.

• To shift balance between the front and rear speakers, dial the fade control up to shif t
the balance to the front speakers; dial the fade control down to shift the balance
to the rear speakers.

On/Standby/Off

• With the system power on, pressing the On/Standby button on the remote control
unit puts the speaker system in suspend mode (LED will be amber); pressing it again
returns the speaker system to normal operation (LED will be green). To turn off
the system (LED will be off), switch off the system power button on the subwoofer.

Headphone jack

• When you use headphones, plug them into the headphone jack on the remote
control, as shown in the diagram. Your headphones will mute the speaker system
automatically.

Installing PowerDVD™

1.

Insert the PowerDVD™ software CD into your CD/DVD-ROM drive.

2.

Execute the

setup.exe

in the License Agreement, you will be asked to enter the CD-Key.

3.

Enter the correct CD-Key letters and numbers that are printed on the sticker located
on the software CD envelope.

4.

You may install PowerDVD to a specific folder or to the default folder.

• The best stereo effect is usually obtained by placing the satellite speakers at an equal
distance from each other and the listener.

• For optimum performance, angle the satellite speakers slightly toward the listening
position.

Connect the subwoofer to the computer using either the analog audio cables with
the green ends (the standard connection) or the optional digital cable with the blue
end, provided your sound card has a digital output. (Using the digital connection
improves sound quality.) If your sound card only has a PCM (digital stereo)
RCA connection, use the digital audio cable with the digital audio adapters.

6.

Connect the power cable to the “AC” jack on the subwoofer, then plug the power
cable into an electrical outlet.

7.

With the computer running and an audio source active, adjust the master volume
and fade controls on the remote control unit, and adjust the Environmental Equalizer
on the subwoofer.

Environmental Equalizer

• The Environmental Equalizer for the 100Hz and 10KHz is located on the front,
lower-right side of the subwoofer. The 100Hz control dial adjusts
the low frequencies and the 10kHz control dial adjusts the high frequencies.

• Dialing the 100Hz control dial to the left decreases the volume of the low
frequencies while dialing it right increases the volume of the low frequencies.

• Dialing the 10KHz control dial to the left decreases the volume of the high
frequencies while dialing it right increases the volume of the high frequencies.

• It is recommend that you adjust the Environmental Equalizer only after you have
finished setting up and placing your speakers, and only if you need to balance
the high frequencies with the low. Once your speakers have been placed
and the Environmental Equalizer adjusted, if necessary, no further adjustments
to the Environmental Equalizer are required.

5.

The System Diagnostic program will conduct a system performance test and set
the best configuration.

6.

After software installation is completed, start PowerDVD by double-clicking
the PowerDVD icon on the desktop, or by clicking the PowerDVD program in
the folder,

– Verdecken Sie die Öffnungen der Lautsprechergehäuse nicht,

dass zwischen den Lautsprechern und anderen Geräten bzw. der Wand
ein ausreichender Abstand besteht.

Aufstellung

• Der Subwoofer und die Lautsprecher sind magnetisch abgeschirmt und können
neben dem Monitor aufgestellt werden, ohne dass das Monitorbild beeinträchtigt
wird.

• Stellen Sie den Subwoofer auf den Boden unter dem Schreibtisch (siehe Abbildung).

Anschluss

1.

Schalten Sie das System aus (Schalter an der Rückseite des Subwoofer),
und drehen Sie die Lautstärke an der Fernbedienung ganz herunter.

2.

Schließen Sie den linken vorderen Lautsprecher an der mit
bezeichneten Buchse am Subwoofer an. Schließen Sie den rechten vorderen
Lautsprecher an der mit
am Subwoofer an.

3.

Schließen Sie den linken hinteren Lautsprecher an der mit
bezeichneten Buchse am Subwoofer an. Schließen Sie den rechten hinteren
Lautsprecher an der mit

Schließen Sie die Fernbedienung an der mit
Buchse am Subwoofer an.

Bedienung

• Drehen Sie zum Erhöhen oder Verringern der Lautstärke den Regler an
der Fernbedienung.

• Drehen Sie zum Verschieben der Balance zwischen den vorderen und hinteren
Lautsprechern den Balanceregler nach oben (vorne) bzw. nach unten (hinten).

Ein/Standby/Aus

• Wenn Sie bei eingeschaltetem System die “On/Standby”-Taste auf der Fernbedienung
drücken, werden die Lautsprecher in den Standby-Modus versetzt
(LED bernsteinfarben); soll der normale Betrieb wieder aufgenommen werden,
drücken Sie die Taste erneut (LED grün). Drücken Sie zum Abschalten des Systems
den Netzschalter am Subwoofer (LED aus).

Kopfhörerbuchse

• Wenn Sie einen Kopfhörer verwenden wollen, schließen Sie diesen an
der Kopfhörerbuchse der Fernbedienung an (siehe Abbildung). Dadurch werden
die Lautsprecher automatisch deaktiviert.

Installieren von PowerDVD

1.

Legen Sie die PowerDVD-CD in das CD-ROM-Laufwerk ein.

2.

Sollte die Funktion “Autorun” nicht aktiviert sein, führen Sie die Datei

• Ein optimaler Stereoeffekt wird erzielt, wenn Sie die Lautsprecher im gleichen
Abstand zueinander und zum Zuhörer aufstellen.

• Drehen Sie die Lautsprecher leicht in Richtung der Hörposition.

5.

Schließen Sie den Subwoofer über das standardmäßige analoge Audiokabel
(grüne Stecker) am Computer an. Verfügt die Soundkarte über einen digitalen
Ausgang, können Sie statt dessen das optionale Digitalkabel (blauer Stecker)
verwenden. Die Klangqualität ist bei einem digitalen Anschluss besser.
Hat Ihre Soundkarte nur einen PCM RCA-Anschluss (Digital-Stereo), verwenden Sie
das Digitalkabel mit dem entsprechenden Adapter.

6.

Schließen Sie das Netzkabel an der mit AC (~) bezeichneten Buchse am Subwoofer
und einer Steckdose an.

7.

Schalten Sie den Computer ein, starten Sie eine Audioquelle, stellen Sie an
der Fernbedienung die gewünschte Lautstärke und am Subwoofer den Umgebungs­Equalizer ein.

Umgebungs-Equalizer

• Der Umgebungs-Equalizer für das 100- und 10-KHz-Band befindet sich
vorne rechts am Subwoofer. Mit dem 100 Hz-Regler können Sie die niedrigen und
mit dem 10 kHz-Regler die hohen Frequenzen anpassen.

• Drehen Sie den 100 Hz-Regler nach links, um die Lautstärke der niedrigen
Frequenzen zu verrringern, bzw. nach rechts, um sie zu erhöhen.

• Drehen Sie den 10 kHz-Regler nach links, um die Lautstärke der hohen Frequenzen
zu verrringern, bzw. nach rechts, um sie zu erhöhen.

• Es wird empfohlen, Einstellungen am Umgebungs-Equalizer erst nach dem Aufstellen
der Lautsprecher vorzunehmen und nur dann, wenn Sie die Frequenzen
anpassen müssen. Nachdem Sie die Lautsprecher aufgestellt und ggf. erforderliche
Einstellungen am Umgebungs-Equalizer vorgenommen haben, müssen Sie
keine weiteren Einstellungen vornehmen.

4.

Sie können PowerDVD entweder im Standardordner installieren oder einen anderen
Ordner angeben.

5.

Das Programm zur Systemdiagnose führt einen Test der Systemleistung aus
und wählt die beste Konfiguration.

6.

Starten Sie PowerDVD nach Abschluss der Installation, indem Sie auf
das entsprechende Desktop-Symbol doppelklicken bzw. den Eintrag “PowerDVD”
im Menü

Fonctionnement

• Pour augmenter le volume, faites tourner la commande du volume général de
la télécommande vers l'avant. Pour baisser le volume, faites-la tourner vers l'arrière.

• Pour répartir le volume sonore entre les haut-parleurs avant et arrière, faites tourner
la commande correspondante vers l'avant pour faire basculer le volume sonore
davantage vers les haut-parleurs avant, et faites-la tourner vers l'arrière pour faire
basculer le son davantage vers les haut-parleurs arrière.

Marche/Veille/Arrêt

• Si vous appuyez sur le bouton Marche/Veille/Arrêt de la télécommande alors
que le système est sous tension, le système de haut-parleurs est mis en veille
(voyant orange). Appuyez de nouveau sur ce bouton pour réactiver le système

Prise pour casque

• Si vous utilisez un casque, branchez-le sur la prise de la télécommande prévue
à cet effet, comme illustré dans le schéma. Le branchement du casque coupe
automatiquement le son des haut-parleurs.

Installation de PowerDVD

1.

Insérez le CD du logiciel PowerDVD dans votre lecteur de CD/DVD-ROM.

2.

Exécutez le fichier
Après acceptation des termes et conditions de l'accord de licence, vous êtes invité
à taper le code du CD.

3.

Tapez les chiffres et lettres corrects du code imprimé sur l'autocollant placé sur
le boîtier du CD.

Réparation

élevée et à un risque d'électrocution. Les réparations doivent être effectuées par
des techniciens qualifiés.

• Afin d'optimiser les performances stéréo, il est recommandé de placer les haut­parleurs à égale distance de l'auditeur.

• Pour des performances optimales, orientez légèrement les haut-parleurs vers
l'auditeur.

5.

Connectez le subwoofer à l'ordinateur à l'aide des câbles audio aux extrémités vertes
(connexion standard) ou à l'aide du câble numérique en option, doté d'une extrémité
bleue, si votre carte son possède une sortie numérique. (La connexion numérique
améliore la qualité sonore.) Si votre carte son possède une connexion PCM
(stéréo numérique) RCA, servez-vous du câble audionumérique avec les adaptateurs
audionumériques.

6.

Connectez le cordon d'alimentation à la prise AC (CA) du subwoofer, puis branchez
le cordon d'alimentation dans une prise électrique.

7.

Réglez le volume général et le volume avant/arrière à l'aide des commandes correspon­dantes sur la télécommande pendant que l'ordinateur fonctionne et qu'une source
audio est active. Pensez également à régler l'égaliseur ambiant sur le subwoofer.

Egaliseur ambiant

• L'égaliseur (pour les fréquences 100 Hz et 10 KHz) se trouve sur le panneau
avant du subwoofer, dans l'angle inférieur droit. La commande 100 Hz permet
de régler les fréquences basses et la commande 10 KHz permet de régler
les fréquences élevées.

• Si vous faites tourner la commande 100 Hz vers la gauche, le volume des fréquences
basses diminue, si vous la faites tourner vers la droite, leur volume augmente.

• Si vous faites tourner la commande 10 KHz vers la gauche, le volume des fréquences
élevées diminue, si vous la faites tourner vers la droite, leur volume augmente.

• Il est conseillé de régler l'égaliseur ambiant uniquement après avoir fini d'installer
et de positionner les haut-parleurs, et seulement si vous avez besoin d'équilibrer
les fréquences basses et élevées. Une fois les haut-parleurs mis en place et l'égaliseur
ambiant réglé, le cas échéant, l'égaliseur ne requiert aucun autre réglage.

4.

Installez PowerDVD dans un dossier particulier ou dans le dossier par défaut.

5.

Le programme de diagnostic du système teste les performances du système
et adopte la configuration la plus appropriée.

6.

Une fois l'installation du logiciel terminée, lancez PowerDVD en double-cliquant sur
l'icône PowerDVD située sur le bureau, ou en cliquant sur le programme PowerDVD
situé dans le dossier

Collocazione

• Il subwoofer e gli altoparlanti satelliti sono schermati magneticamente e possono
essere sistemati accanto al monitor del computer senza causare distorsioni delle

• Collocare il subwoofer sul pavimento sotto la scrivania, come illustrato in figura.

• Collocare gli altoparlanti satelliti posteriori come mostrato in figura. Se possibile
installarli sulla parete utilizzando gli appositi supporti.

Funzionamento

• Per aumentare il volume, ruotare in avanti il controllo di regolazione
del volume principale del telecomando. Per ridurre il volume, ruotare indietro
il controllo di regolazione.

• Per spostare il bilanciamento tra gli altoparlanti anteriori e posteriori:
ruotare il controllo in avanti per spostare il bilanciamento agli altoparlanti anteriori;
ruotare il controllo indietro per spostare il bilanciamento agli altoparlanti posteriori.

Accensione/Standby/Spegnimento

• Con il sistema acceso, se si preme il pulsante di accensione/standby sul telecomando,
riprende la modalità di sospensione degli altoparlanti (il LED diventa di colore ambra);
se lo si preme nuovamente si attiva il funzionamento normale degli altoparlanti
(LED diventa verde). Per spegnere il sistema (il LED si spegne), premere il pulsante
di alimentazione del subwoofer.

Presa per cuffie

• Per utilizzare le cuffie è necessario collegarle alla presa per cuffie del telecomando,
come mostrato in figura. Inserendo le cuffie verrà disattivata automaticamente
la riproduzione audio dagli altoparlanti.

Installazione di PowerDVD

1.

Inserire il CD con il software PowerDVD nell'apposito lettore.

2.

Eseguire il file
Una volta accettate le condizioni dell'accordo di licenza, immettere il codice del CD.

3.

Immetter i numeri e le lettere corrette del codice del CD, riportato sull'adesivo
che si trova sulla busta del CD.

4.

È possibile installare PowerDVD in una cartella particolare o nella cartella predefinita.

– Tenere gli altoparlanti lontano da fonti di calore.

– Non ostruire le aperture situate negli altoparlanti né forzare oggetti

• Per ottenere un effetto stereo ottimale, collocare gli altoparlanti satelliti alla stessa
distanza l'uno dall'altro e dalla posizione di ascolto.

• Per prestazioni ottimali collocare gli altoparlanti satelliti orientati leggermente verso
la posizione di ascolto.

5.

Collegare il subwoofer al computer mediante i cavi audio con estremità verdi
(collegamento standard) o, se la scheda audio è dotata di uscita digitale, mediante
il cavo digitale facoltativo con estremità blu. (Il collegamento digitale migliora
la qualità audio.) Se la scheda audio è dotata solamente di un collegamento PCM RCA
(stereo digitale), utilizzare il cavo audio digitale con gli adattatori audio digitali.

6.

Collegare il cavo dell'adattatore di alimentazione alla presa
quindi inserire l'adattatore nella presa a muro.

7.

Con il computer acceso e una fonte audio in funzione, regolare il controllo
del volume principale e del bilanciamento anteriore e posteriore sul telecomando
e regolare l'equalizzatore di ambiente del subwoofer.

Equalizzatore di ambiente

• L'equalizzatore di ambiente per i controlli 100Hz e 10KHz si trova nella parte
anteriore, in basso a destra del subwoofer. Il controllo 100Hz consente di regolare
le frequenze basse e il controllo 10kHz di regolare le frequenze alte.

• Se si ruota il controllo 100Hz a sinistra, si abbassa il volume delle frequenze basse,
mentre se lo si ruota a destra lo si aumenta.

• Se si ruota il controllo 10KHz a sinistra, si abbassa il volume delle frequenze alte,
mentre se lo si ruota a destra lo si aumenta.

• Si consiglia di regolare l'equalizzatore di ambiente solamente una volta terminato
l'approntamento e il montaggio degli altoparlanti e solo se occorre bilanciare
le frequenze alte con quelle basse. Una volta montati gli altoparlanti e, se necessario,
regolato l'equalizzatore di ambiente, non occorre eseguire ulteriori regolazioni
all'equalizzatore.

5.

Verrà eseguito un test delle prestazioni del sistema dal programma di diagnostica
del sistema e verrà impostata la configurazione ottimale.

6.

Una volta completata l'installazione del software, per avviare PowerDVD
fare doppio clic sull'icona PowerDVD situata sul desktop oppure fare clic
sul programma PowerDVD nella cartella
