You should read these Important Safety Instructions. Keep these instructions in a safe place
Before using your XD-V70, carefully read the applicable items of these operating instructions and the safety suggestions.
1. Obey all warnings in the XD-V70 manual.
2. Do not perform service operations beyond those described in the XD-V70 manual. Service is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as:
• liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus
• the unit has been exposed to rain or moisture
• the unit does not operate normally or changes in performance in a significant way
• the unit is dropped or the enclosure is damaged.
3. Do not place near heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, or appliances which produce heat.
4. Guard against objects or liquids entering the device. Do not use or place unit near water.
5. Do not step on cords. Do not place items on top of cords so that they are pinched or leaned on. Pay particular attention to the cord at the plug end and the point where
it connects to the device.
6. Always switch transmitter off when not in use for extended periods of time for extended battery life.
7. Clean only with a damp cloth.
8. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
9. Prolonged listening at high volume levels may cause irreparable hearing loss and/or damage. Always be sure to practice “safe listening.”

2. Mini-XLR Input - Plug the supplied Mini XLR connector from the
microphone here. Other Mini-XLR equipped microphones designed for
wireless mic use may commonly be substituted.
Attaching and positioning the mic: Use the mic clip to attach the
lavalier mic to clothing taking care to point the microphone towards
the intended sound source. Avoid fixing mic to where mechanical noise
can be generated such as zippers, inside pockets, etc.

Setup Page 1 - Channel Select
In order for your XD-V70 to transmit properly to your receiver both devices
must be set to the same channel. To change the channel your XD-V70 is
transmitting on, Hold

XD-V70 comes from the factory unlocked. This allows you to make any
necessary adjustments for your initial setup.
Once you’ve completed saving your settings, press and hold both

change any settings or shut the XD-V70 off accidentally. The LCD will

Make certain that XD-V70 and receiver are receiving sufficient power.
Check the battery status indicator on the transmitter and replace if
necessary. The battery life indicator is calibrated for Alkaline batteries but
you can use any AA type, battery life may vary.
