Before using your ToneCore, carefully read the applicable items of these operating instructions and the safety suggestions.

1. Obey all warnings on the pedal and in the ToneCore Pilot's Handbook.

2. Connect optional power supply only to AC power outlets rated 100-120V or 200-240V 47-63Hz (see indications on optional power supply).

3. Do not perform service operations beyond those described in the ToneCore Pilot's Handbook. Service is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as:

• power-supply cord or plug is damaged

• liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus

• the unit has been exposed to rain or moisture

• the unit does not operate normally or changes in performance in a significant way

• the unit is dropped or the enclosure is damaged.

4. Do not place near heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, or appliances which produce heat.

5. Guard against objects or liquids entering the enclosure. Do not use or place unit near water.

6. Unplug the power supply when not in use for extended periods of time. Unplug the power supply during lightning storms.

7. Clean only with a damp cloth.

8. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.

Greetings and salutations! Thank you for inviting the
Line 6 Tap Tremolo pedal into your life.

Effect On-Off / Power Indicator Light

The Power Indicator Light on your ToneCore uses three
colors to indicate the pedal’s state:

•GREEN (flashing)– Effect is engaged (on). Light
is flashing to show modulation speed

•AMBER (flashing)– Effect is in bypass (off). Light
is flashing to show modulation speed

•RED (flashing) – Batteries need replacing

This low power indication will override all other states.

Power Jack

Connect an optional ToneCore-compatible Line 6
power supply like the DC-1, and you'll never need a
9-volt battery again!

Connections and Power Indicator Light

In Jacks

Use a standard guitar cable to connect your guitar, or
the output of another effect to use in combination with
your ToneCore. If you’re feeding a mono signal to your
Tap Tremolo, use the MONO/L jack. Like most pedals,

inserting a plug into this jack will turn on the power
to your ToneCore. Disconnect from both input jacks
when the ToneCore is not being used.

Out Jacks

Use a standard guitar cable to connect to the inputs of
a guitar amp, or the inputs of another effect that will
feed your amp. For mono, use the MONO/L jack.

Foot Switch

Stomp on this to turn the effect sound processing on
and off. See the Tap Tempo section to learn how to set

speed with your feet.

SPEED DEPTH PEAK SHAPE

Speed

Adjusts the speed of the tremolo pulse from slow to fast.
(See Tap Tempo to do this with your feet.)

Depth

At low settings, you’ll get a variation of your guitar
volume from your pedal. At high settings, your volume
will dip to silence with each pulse.

Peak

A peak follower changes your effect’s speed so it goes
faster as you play louder, and slower as you play softer.
As a note decays, you’ll hear the tremolo speed slow to
match the setting of the speed knob. Set the knob off
(fully counter clockwise) to disable the peak follower.

Shape

Turn the knob toward the left for a smooth sine wave
tremolo that gradually varies your volume up and down,
or right for a hard-chopping square wave that
dramatically switches from loud to silent.

Model Switch

Give this a flick to reconfigure the virtual circuitry
inside your Tap Tremolo, and enjoy three distinctly
different sound “flavors”:

Opto

Here’s a vintage opto circuitry style tremolo sound like
you’d find built into mid-60’s American amplifiers.

Bias

This model creates a vintage bias circuitry style tremolo
sound you’d find in late 50’s British amplifiers.

Pan

This model makes your sound pan back and forth
between left and right outputs. When used with stereo
inputs and a mono output, the two inputs will cross-fade
between each other at the output. If you run a mono
input and a mono output, this model will sound like
tremolo instead of pan.

Controls

Tap Tempo

Put your foot to work and get your tremolo in the
groove! Using the innovative ToneCore double-action
footswitch, you can tap a couple times and have your
tremolo match your tempo. Here’s what you need to
know:

• Whether the effect is active or bypassed, you can tap
the footswitch lightly to set your effect speed. Your first
two taps establish the tempo. Any additional taps
within 3 seconds will be averaged in.

• Taps will be ignored if the footswitch is pressed all
the way down to turn the effect processing on/off.

• Any time the Tap Tempo switch is used to alter
speed, the tapped value overrides the current setting
of the Speed knob. Whenever the Speed knob is turned,
it overrides the last value entered with the Tap Tempo
switch.

• The indicator light flashes to match tempo; it’s green
when the effect is on, and amber when the effect is off.

Battery Access Instructions

Connect an optional Line 6 DC-1 power supply and

Last Chord

Try using this setting when playing
the last chord of a song. The Peak
Follower will make the speed
incredibly fast, and as the chord
decays the tremolo speed will slow

Vor dem Einsatz des ToneCore musst du dir alle zutreffenden Punkte und Sicherheitshinweise durchlesen.

1. Beachte alle auf dem ToneCore selbst und im Pilotenhandbuch aufgeführten Warnungen.

2. Verbinde das optionale Netzteil nur mit einer 100~120V- bzw. 200~240V/47~63Hz-Steckdose (je nachdem, welche Spannung dein Modell benötigt;

Sei gegrüßt und geküsst! Erstmal vielen Dank, dass du
dich zur Adoption eines “Tap Tremolo”-Pedals von Line
6 durchgerungen hast.

Effekt-/Stromdiode

Die Stromdiode zeigt den Status des ToneCore-Pedals
anhand dreier Farben an:

•GRÜN (blinkt)– Der Effekt ist aktiv (an). Die
Diode blinkt im Tempo der Modulations­geschwindigkeit.

•GELB (blinkt)– Der Effekt wird umgangen (aus).
Die Diode blinkt im Tempo der Modulations­geschwindigkeit.

•ROT (blinkt) – Die Batterie muss ausgewechselt
werden. Diese Warnung hat Vorrang vor allen anderen

Angaben.

Netzanschluss

Wenn du hier ein (optionales) ToneCore-kompatibles
Netzteil wie das DC-1 von Line 6 anschließt, brauchst
du nie mehr eine 9V-Batterie!

Anschlüsse und Stromanzeige

Eingänge

Schließe hier das Kabel deiner Gitarre bzw. den
Ausgang eines anderen Effekts an, den du mit diesem
ToneCore kombinieren möchtest. Mono-Signale
müssen an die MONO/L-Buchse des Tap Tremolo
angelegt werden. Wie die meisten Tretminen wird das

ToneCore eingeschaltet, sobald man hier einen
Klinkenstecker anschließt. Löse beide Eingangs­verbindungen, wann immer du das ToneCore-Pedal
nicht verwenden möchtest.

Ausgänge

Diese Buchsen musst du über herkömmliche Gitarren­kabel mit dem Verstärker bzw. den Eingängen eines
anderen Effektpedals verbinden. Bei Mono-Verwen­dung nur MONO/L anschließen.

Fußschalter

Hiermit schaltest du den Effekt abwechselnd ein und
aus. Das Tempo kann auch per Fuß eingestellt werden

(“Tap Tempo”).

Speed: Hiermit kann die Tremologeschwindigkeit
eingestellt werden. (Siehe auch “Tap Tempo”.)
Depth: Bei Anwahl eines kleinen Wertes wird die
Lautstärke der Gitarre periodisch moduliert. Das Signal
fällt aber nie ganz weg. Bei Anwahl des Höchstwertes
wechselt das Signal zwischen “an” und “aus” hin und
her.
Peak: Hiermit bestimmst, wie stark der Pegel der
eingehenden Signale die Effektgeschwindigkeit
beeinflusst (laut= schnell, leise= langsam). Beim
Aussterben der Noten wirst du feststellen, dass nach
und nach die mit dem SPEED-Regler gewählte
Geschwindigkeit angefahren wird. Wenn die
Geschwindigkeit konstant bleiben soll, musst du den
Regler ganz nach links drehen.
Shape: Drehe den Regler nach links, wenn du eine
“runde” Sinusmodulation bevorzugst. Wenn er sich ganz
rechts befindet, wird eine Rechteckwelle verwendet,
die eher als An/Aus-Schalter fungiert.

Modellwahlschalter

Hiermit kannst du die virtuellen Schaltkreise des Tap
Tremolo “umpolen” und eine von drei Bearbeitungen
wählen:

Opto: Der Sound einer optischen Tremolo-Schaltung,
die Mitte der 1960er zur Standardausrüstung amerika­nischer Amps gehörte.

Bias: Das Modell einer “Vintage”-Tremolo-Schaltung,
die Ende der 1950er zur Standardausrüstung britischer
Amps gehörte.

Pan: Dieses Modell sorgt dafür, dass sich das Signal in
regelmäßigen Zeitabständen von links nach rechts und
wieder zurück bewegt. Bei Verwendung eines Stereo­Eingangssignals und einer Mono-Ausgabe, werden die
beiden Bewegungen abwechselnd ein- und
ausgeblendet. Im Mono/Mono-Betrieb entspricht das
Ergebnis hingegen einem Tremolo-Effekt (also nix mit
“Pan”).

Bedienelemente

Tap Tempo

Sorge mit deinem starken rechten Fuß dafür, dass sich
das Tremolo in den Song-Groove einklinkt! Der
Fußtaster des ToneCore hat eine Doppelfunktion und
erlaubt demnach das “Tappen” des gewünschten
Tempos. Das geht so:

• Auch wenn der Effekt umgangen wird, kann man die
Effektgeschwindigkeit durch leichtes Betätigen des
Pedals einstellen. Mit den ersten beiden “Taps” bes­timmst du das Tempo. Alle weiteren Taps, die innerhalb
von 3 Sekunden erfolgen, werden ebenfalls berück­sichtigt.

• Wenn du den Schalter etwas kräftiger drückst, wird
jedoch nur der Effekt ein-/ausgeschaltet – das gilt also
nicht als “Tap”.

• Bei Verwendung der Tap Tempo-Funktion wird die
Einstellung des SPEED-Reglers ignoriert. Drehst du
danach am SPEED-Regler, so wird umgekehrt das
getappte Tempo ignoriert.

• Die Diode blinkt jeweils im eingestellten Tempo:
Grün, wenn der Effekt aktiv ist und orange, wenn er
umgangen wird.

Auswechseln der Batterie

Netzteil

Wenn du ein (optionales) Netzteil wie das DC-1 von Line
6 anschließt, brauchst du nie mehr eine 9V-Batterie! Das
Netzteil eignet sich übrigens auch für viele andere 9V-Pedale.
Nach Anschließen des Netzteils wird die Batterie nicht mehr
angesprochen.

Line 6, Inc. (im folgenden kurz “Line 6”), garantiert, dass seine Produkte, sofern sie bei einem anerkannten Line
6-Händler in den USA oder Kanada gekauft wurden, in einem Zeitraum von einem (1) Jahr ab dem Erstkauf
weder materielle Schäden aufweisen, noch irgendwelcher Reparaturen bedürfen. Anwender in anderen Ländern
erkundigen sich bitte bei ihrem Händler nach den örtlichen Garantiebestimmungen.

Während der Garantieperiode kann Line 6 nach eigenem Ermessen entscheiden, ein defektes Produkt entweder
zu reparieren oder zu ersetzen.

Line 6 hat ausdrücklich das Recht, zur Reparatur eingereichte Produkte zu aktualisieren und das Design bzw.
ihre Funktionen zwecks Leistungsoptimierung ohne Vorankündigung zu ändern. Line 6 behält sich das Recht vor,
im Rahmen der Garantiebestimmungen auch gebrauchte Komponenten usw. einzubauen.

Diese Garantie gilt nur für den Erstkäufer, der das Gerät bei einem anerkannten Händler gekauft hat. Die Garantie
kann jedoch auf einen Zweitkäufer übertragen werden, sofern der Zweitkauf innerhalb der Garantiefrist erfolgt
und Line 6 folgende Dinge zugestellt bekommt: (i) alle Registrierungsinformationen (siehe die Registrierungskarte)
des neuen Eigentümers, (ii) einen Beleg für die rechtmäßige Übernahme, der innerhalb von dreißig (30) Tagen
ausgestellt wird, (iii) eine Fotokopie der Rechnung für den Erstkauf. Line 6 entscheidet allein, ob die Übertragung
der Garantie akzeptiert wird.

Außer dieser Garantie unterliegt dieses Gerät keinen anderen Garantiebestimmungen. Hiermit untersagt Line
6 Drittpersonen, darunter Händler und Außendienstmitarbeiter, im Namen der Firma Line 6 eine Haftung zu
übernehmen oder eine Garantie zu geben.

Garantiebestimmungen

Line 6 behält sich das Recht vor, einen Beleg für den rechtmäßigen Erwerb zu verlangen. Dafür hat der Kunde
dann eine Kopie der von Händler ausgestellten und mit Datum versehenen Rechnung bzw. einen Kassenzettel
vorzulegen.

Reparaturen im Rahmen der Garantiebestimmungen dürfen ausschließlich im Line 6-Werk oder von einer
anerkannten Kundendienststelle vorgenommen werden. Line 6 hat das Recht, Leistungen zurückzuweisen, für
welche die Kundendienststelle keine ausdrückliche Genehmigung erhalten hat. Eingriffe und Modifikationen
unbefugter Personen machen den Garantieanspruch hinfällig.

DIE OBEN ERWÄHNTE GARANTIE IST DIE EINZIGE GARANTIE, DIE LINE 6 SEINEN ENDKUNDEN GEWÄHRT. SIE ERSETZT

Kundendienst

Bevor du dich an den Line 6-Kundendienst wendest, solltest du dir dieses Handbuch noch einmal durchlesen,
weil es sein könnte, dass es die Antwort auf deine Frage enthält. Weitere nützliche Infos findest du im “Support”­Bereich der Line 6-Website (www.line6.com/support). Dort befindet sich u.a. ein FAQTRAQ-System, über
welches du in der Regel am schnellsten eine Antwort auf deine Frage findest.

Sprichst du lieber mit einem menschlichen Wesen bei Line 6? Notiere die Seriennummer deines Gerätes sowie
eine Kurzbeschreibung des Problems, damit du im Eifer des Gefechts nichts vergisst. Line 6-Anwender in den USA

Line 6 akzeptiert nur Produkte, für die zuvor eine Genehmigungsnummer (“RA”) beantragt wurde. Produkte,
die ohne RA-Nummer bei uns eintreffen, werden postwendend auf deine Kosten zurückgeschickt.

Avant d'utiliser votre ToneCore, lisez attentivement les consignes d'utilisation et de sécurité ci-dessous.

1. Respectez tous les avertissements imprimés sur la pédale et dans ce Manuel de pilotage ToneCore.

2. Branchez l'adaptateur secteur en option à une prise de courant de 100~120V ou 200~240V 47~63Hz (selon la tension d'utilisation figurant sur
l'adaptateur secteur en option).

3. N'effectuez aucune opération d'entretien autre que celles préconisées dans ce Manuel de pilotage ToneCore. Faites réparer ce produit s'il a
subi un dommage, notamment:

• si le cordon d’alimentation ou sa fiche est endommagée;

• si du liquide ou des objets ont pénétré dans l'appareil;

• si ce produit a été exposé à la pluie ou à de l'humidité;

• si l'appareil ne fonctionne pas normalement ou si ses performances baissent de manière significative;

• si ce produit est tombé ou son boîtier est endommagé.

4. Ne placez jamais l'appareil à proximité de sources de chaleur comme des radiateurs, des poêles ou tout autre appareil produisant de la chaleur.

5. Veillez à ne jamais laisser d'objet ni de liquide pénétrer dans le boîtier de l'appareil. Ne placez et n'utilisez jamais ce produit à proximité d'eau.

Connexions et témoin de mise sous tension

Bienvenue ! Et merci d’avoir choisi la pédale Line 6 Tap
Tremolo comme compagnon.

Témoin de mise sous tension/d’effet activé­coupé

Le témoin de mise sous tension de la pédale ToneCore
utilise trois couleurs pour indiquer l’état de la pédale:

•VERT (clignotant)– L’effet est utilisé (activé). Le
témoin clignote pour indiquer la vitesse de
modulation.

•JAUNE (clignotant)– L’effet est contourné
(coupé). Le témoin clignote pour indiquer la vitesse
de modulation.

•ROUGE (clignotant) – La pile doit être remplacée.

L’indication d’usure de la pile a la priorité sur les autres.

Entrée (IN)

Servez-vous d’un câble de guitare standard pour y
brancher votre guitare ou la sortie d’un autre effet pour
le combiner à l’effet ToneCore. Si vous envoyez un
signal mono au Tap Tremolo, utilisez la prise MONO/L.

Comme pour la plupart des pédales, l’insertion d’une
fiche dans cette entrée met la pédale ToneCore sous
tension. Débranchez les deux prises d’entrée quand
vous n’utilisez pas la pédale ToneCore.

Sortie (OUT)

Servez-vous d’un câble de guitare standard pour y
brancher les entrées d’un ampli de guitare ou celles d’un
autre effet placé avant l’ampli. Pour un usage mono,
utilisez la prise MONO/L.

Prise d’alimentation

Branchez un adaptateur Line 6 compatible ToneCore
disponible en option comme le DC-1 et vous n’aurez
plus jamais besoin d’une pile 9V!

Commutateur au pied

Actionnez-le pour activer ou couper le traitement du
signal. Voyez la section Tap Tempo pour savoir

comment régler la vitesse avec le pied.

Speed: Règle la vitesse de l’impulsion du trémolo.

(Voyez “Tap Tempo” pour effectuer ce réglage avec le pied.)

Depth: Avec un réglage peu élevé, la pédale produit
une variation du volume de la guitare. Avec une valeur
élevée, le volume plonge dans le silence à chaque
impulsion.

Peak: Cet effet suit les crêtes (Peak): il accélère l’effet
quand vous jouez fort et le ralentit quand vous jouez
doucement. Durant la chute de la note, vous entendez
le trémolo ralentir pour suivre le réglage de la
commande. Tournez la commande à fond à gauche pour
couper cette fonction.

Shape: Tournez la commande vers la gauche pour
obtenir un trémolo régulier de sinusoïde qui augmente
et diminue le volume; tournez-la vers la droite pour
obtenir une onde carrée opérant des commutations
dramatiques entre volume fort et silence.

Sélecteur de modèle

Actionnez ce sélecteur pour reconfigurer les circuits
virtuels du Tap Tremolo et bénéficier de trois “crus»
différents:

Opto

Voici un trémolo vintage émulant ceux que vous
trouviez dans les amplis américains des années 60.

Bias

Voici un trémolo vintage émulant ceux que vous
trouviez dans les amplis britanniques de la fin des
années 50.

Pan

Ce modèle renvoie le son entre les sorties gauche et
droite. Avec un signal d’entrée stéréo et une sortie
mono, les deux entrées opèrent un chassé-croisé à la
sortie. Avec une entrée mono et une sortie mono, ce
modèle sonne comme un trémolo au lieu d’un effet pan.

Commandes

Tap Tempo

Tapez du pied sur le pour que le trémolo suive le groove! Grâce
au commutateur ToneCore à double action, vous pouvez taper
deux fois pour aligner le trémolo sur le tempo du morceau.
Voici ce qu’il faut savoir:

• Que l’effet soit activé ou contourné, vous pouvez taper
légèrement sur le commutateur pour déterminer la vitesse de
l’effet. Vos deux premières frappes déterminent le tempo.
Toute frappe supplémentaire dans les 3 secondes est incluse
dans la moyenne.

• Les frappes sont ignorées si le commutateur est enfoncé
à bout de course pour activer/couper le traitement du signal.

• Chaque fois que vous utilisez la fonction Tap Tempo pour
changer la vitesse, ce réglage a priorité sur le réglage de la
commande. Chaque fois que vous actionnez la commande
Speed, ce réglage a priorité sur celui établi avec la fonction
Tap Tempo.

•Le témoin clignote selon le tempo choisi; elle clignote en
vert quand l’effet est activé et en jaune quand il est contourné.

Antes de utilizar el ToneCore, lee con atención los puntos aplicables de estas instrucciones de funcionamiento y las sugerencias de seguridad.

1. Sigue todas las precauciones que aparecen en el pedal y en el Manual del Piloto del ToneCore.

2. Conecta la fuente de alimentación opcional sólo a tomas de corriente de CA de 100~120V ó 200~240V 47~63Hz (consulta las indicaciones
de la fuente de alimentación opcional).

3. No intentes realizar ningún proceso de reparación, excepto los que se describen en el Manual del Piloto del ToneCore. La reparación será
necesaria cuando se dañe el equipo, como por ejemplo:

•cuando se dañe el cable de alimentación

•cuando se derrame algún líquido o caigan objetos en el equipo

•cuando el dispositivo se haya expuesto a la lluvia o humedad

•cuando el dispositivo no funcione correctamente o cambie su rendimiento de forma significativa

•cuando el dispositivo se caiga o se dañe la carcasa.

4. No lo sitúes cerca de fuentes de calor como radiadores, registradores de calor u otros dispositivos que generen calor.

5. Protégelo de objetos o líquidos que puedan entrar en el mueble. No utilices ni sitúes el dispositivo cerca de agua.

6. Desconecta el cable de alimentación cuando no lo utilices durante periodos de tiempo prolongados. Desconecta el cable de alimentación
durante tormentas eléctricas.

7. Límpialo sólo con un paño húmedo.

Indicador de efectos/potencia

El indicador de potencia del ToneCore utiliza tres colores
para indicar el estado del pedal:

•VERDE (parpadeando)– El efecto está activado (on). El

•ÁMBAR (parpadeando)– El efecto se ignora (off). El

Jack de potencia

¡Conecta una fuente de alimentación de Line 6 opcional
compatible con ToneCore como el DC-1 y nunca más
volverás a necesitar una batería de 9 voltios!

Conexiones e indicador de potencia

Jacks de entrada

Utiliza un cable de guitarra estándar para conectar la
guitarra o la salida de otro efecto a utilizar junto con
el ToneCore. Si estás alimentando una señal mono al
Tap Tremolo, utiliza el jack MONO/L. Como en la

mayoría de los pedales, si insertas un conector en este jack
se activará la potencia del ToneCore. Desconecta el conector
de los dos jacks de entrada cuando no utilices el ToneCore.

Jacks de salida

Utiliza un cable de guitarra estándar para conectar a las
entradas de un amplificador de guitarra o a las entradas
de otro efecto que alimentará el amplificador. Para
mono, utiliza el jack MONO/L.

Conmutador de pedal

Utilízalo para activar y desactivar el procesamiento de
sonido de efecto. Consulta la sección Tap Tempo para

saber cómo ajustar la velocidad con los pies.

Speed

Ajusta la velocidad de la pulsación del tremolo de lento a
rápido.(Para hacerlo con los pies, consulta Tap Tempo).

Depth

Si el ajuste es bajo, conseguirás una variación del volumen
de la guitarra desde el pedal. Si el ajuste es alto, el volumen
se silenciará con cada pulsación.

Peak

El Peak Follower cambia la velocidad del efecto para que vaya
más rápido cuando tocas más fuerte y más lento cuando tocas
más suave. A medida que la nota decae, notarás que la
velocidad del tremolo va más lenta para coincidir con el ajuste
del mando de velocidad. Ajusta este mando a off (totalmente
en sentido antihorario) para desactivar el Peak Follower.

Shape

Gira el mando hacia la izquierda para obtener un tremolo
suave de onda sinusoidal que suba o baje el volumen de forma
gradual para obtener una onda cuadrada que radicalmente
pase de los sonidos altos al silencio.

Conmutador de modelo

Utilízalo para reconfigurar los circuitos virtuales dentro
del Tap Tremolo y disfrutar de tres “sabores” de sonidos
distintivos diferentes:

Opto

Es un sonido de tremolo al estilo del circuito Opto como
el que encontrarás en los amplificadores americanos de
mediados de los 60.

Bias

Este modelo crea un sonido de tremolo al estilo de los
antiguos circuitos Bias que encontrarás en los
amplificadores británicos de finales de los 50.

Pan

Este modelo hace que el sonido se sitúe hacia delante
y hacia atrás entre las salidas izquierda y derecha.
Cuando se utiliza con entradas estéreo y una salida
mono, las dos entradas se encadenarán en la salida. Si
utilizas una entrada mono y una salida mono, este
modelo sonará como si fuera tremolo en lugar de pan.

Controles

Tap Tempo

¡Pon los pies a trabajar y consigue que el tremolo en el ritmo! Con
el innovador conmutador de pedal de doble acción ToneCore,
puedes pulsar dos veces y hacer que el tremolo coincida con el
tempo. Esto es lo que tienes que saber:

• Tanto si el efecto está activado como si se ignora, puedes pulsar
ligeramente el conmutador de pedal para ajustar la velocidad del
efecto. Las dos primeras pulsaciones establecen el tempo.
Cualquier pulsación adicional en 3 segundos se introducirá.

• Las pulsaciones se ignorarán si el conmutador de pedal se pulsa
totalmente para activar o desactivar el procesamiento de efectos.

• Cuando se utilice el conmutador Tap Tempo para modificar
la velocidad, el valor introducido sustituirá el ajuste actual del
mando Speed. Siempre que actives el mando Speed, se
sobrescribirá el último valor que se introdujo con el conmutador
Tap Tempo.

• La luz del indicador parpadea para coincidir con el tempo. Es
de color verde cuando el efecto está activado y ámbar cuando el
efecto está desactivadowhen the effect is on, and amber when

Effectstatus-/stroomindicator

De stroomindicator van dit ToneCore-pedaal hanteert
drie kleuren om de status aan te geven:

•GROEN (knippert)– Het effect is actief (en dus

Connectors en stroomindicator

Ingangen

Gebruik een standaardkabel voor het aansluiten van
je gitaar of de uitgang van een ander effect op deze
ToneCore. Mono-signaalbronnen moet je op de
MONO/L-connector van de Tap Tremolo aansluiten.

Net zoals bij de meeste pedalen wordt de ToneCore
ingeschakeld, wanneer je hier een jack aansluit.
Zolang je het ToneCore-pedaal niet nodig hebt, mag
je niets op deze connectors aansluiten.

Uitgangen

Gebruik een standaardkabel voor het aansluiten van
deze connector op een gitaarversterker of een ander
effectpedaal. Voor een mono-verbinding moet je de
MONO/L-connector gebruiken.

Voetschakelaar

Hiermee kun je het effect in- en uitschakelen. Hij kan
bovendien voor het tappen van het tempo worden
gebruikt.

Speed: Hiermee stel je de snelheid van het effect in.
(Het tempo kan ook met de Tap Tempo-functie

worden ingesteld.)

Depth: Hoe kleiner de hiermee ingestelde waarde, hoe
subtieler de volumevariaties van het gitaarvolume. Kies
je een grote waarde, dan lijkt de gitaar afwisselend aan
en uit te gaan.

Peak: Hiermee kun je instellen in welke mate de
snelheid van het effect via het volume van je gitaar kan
worden bepaald: snel bij een hoog volume en traag voor
stille signalen. Wanneer een noot uitsterft, zal je merken
dat het effect geleidelijk aan vertraagt. Draai de regelaar
helemaal naar links, als je deze beïnvloeding niet nodig
hebt.

Shape: Draai deze regelaar helemaal naar links voor
een (“ronde”) sinusmodulatie. Draai hem naar rechts
voor duidelijk afgelijnde aan/uit-modulaties (blokgolf).

Modelkeuzeschakelaar

Met deze schakelaar kun je de werking van de virtuele
circuits wijzigen. Je Tap Tremolo bevat namelijk drie
verschillende sounds:

Opto: Ziehier een model van een optische “vintage”­tremolo die je halverwege de jaren ‘60 op de bekendste
Amerikaanse versterkers aantrof.

Bias: Dit model simuleert een bias-tremolo die eind
de jaren ‘50 in bijna elke Britse versterker zat.

Pan: Dit model zorgt ervoor dat het signaal tussen het
linker en rechter kanaal heen en weer springt. Als je
een stereosignaal bewerkt en in mono uitstuurt, lopen
de signalen van de twee ingangen mooi in elkaar over.
Bij gebruik van een mono/mono-configuratie doet dit
model echter eerder denken aan een tremolo i.p.v. een
pan-effect.

Bedieningsorganen

Tap Tempo

Zorg er met je sterke rechter voet voor dat de tremolo
keurig in de maat loopt! De voetschakelaar van je
ToneCore heeft namelijk twee functies. De ene dient
voor het instellen van het tempo. Ziehier hoe het
allemaal werkt:

• Door de voetschakelaar licht in te drukken stel je de
modulatiesnelheid in. Met de eerste twee “taps” leg je
al het tempo vast. Trap je de voetschakelaar binnen de
3 seconden nog een aantal keren in, dan wordt de
snelheid aangepast.

• Door de voetschakelaar helemaal in te trappen
schakel je het effect in of uit.

• Wanneer je de tapfunctie voor het instellen van de
snelheid gebruikt, wordt de instelling van de SPEED­regelaar genegeerd. Draai je daarna aan de SPEED­regelaar, dan wordt echter weer diens instelling
gehanteerd.

• De indicator knippert in de maat van de snelheid:
groen, wanneer het effect actief is, en oranje, als het
uit staat.

Instructies voor het vervangen van de batterij

Instructies voor het vervangen van de batterij

Adapter

Als je een optionele adapter, zoals bv. de DC-1 van Line
6 gebruikt, hoef je nooit meer een 9V-batterij te kopen!
Die adapter is trouwens voor de meeste 9V-effect­pedalen geschikt. Wanneer je een adapter aansluit,
wordt de batterij niet meer aangesproken.

Line 6, Inc. (“Line 6”), garandeert dat dit product, indien het bij een erkende Line 6-dealer in de VS of Canada werd gekocht,
geen enkel gebrek vertoont en, vanaf de dag van de oorspronkelijke aankoop, gedurende één (1) jaar geen enkele ingreep
behoeft. Gebruikers in andere landen kunnen bij de Line 6-dealer, waar ze het product gekocht hebben, informatie inwinnen
over de plaatselijke garantiebepalingen.

Tijdens de garantieperiode heeft Line 6 het recht om producten hetzij te herstellen, hetzij te vervangen, als er sprake is
van een defect.

Line 6 behoudt zich het recht voor om een teruggestuurd product zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving te updaten en alle
voor een productverbetering noodzakelijke handelingen uit te voeren. Line 6 heeft het recht gebruikte onderdelen voor
herstellingen of werken in het kader van de garantiebepalingen te gebruiken.

Deze garantie geldt voor de eerste koper, die het product bij een erkende dealer heeft aangekocht. De garantie kan echter
overgaan op de persoon, die het product op een later tijdstip koopt, indien dit binnen de garantieperiode gebeurt en indien
de nieuwe eigenaar Line 6 daarvan d.m.v. de volgende documenten op de hoogte brengt: (i) alle gegevens voor de registratie
van de garantie (zie de garantiekaart) in naam van de nieuwe eigenaar, (ii) een bewijs voor de wettelijke overdracht opgemaakt
binnen de 30 dagen na de aankoop, (iii) een fotokopie van de originele factuur. Line 6 bepaalt als enige of de garantie al dan
niet overgaat op de nieuwe eigenaar.

Dit is de enige garantie waar jij recht op hebt. Bij deze verbiedt Line 6 alle personen, met inbegrip van dealers en
vertegenwoordigers, om in naam van Line 6 verantwoordelijkheid op te nemen of waarborgen te geven die buiten het bestek
van deze bepalingen vallen.

Garantiebepalingen

Line 6 heeft op elk moment het recht om een bewijs van de oorspronkelijke aankoop in de vorm van de originele
factuur of een ontvangstbewijs te eisen.

Herstellingen en onderhoudswerken aan Line 6-apparaten mogen uitsluitend in de fabriek of door een erkende
herstellingsdienst worden uitgevoerd. Line 6 beslist als enige of een herstellingsdienst de voorgestelde herstelling
al dan niet mag uitvoeren. Bij het uitvoeren van niet toegelaten onderhoudswerken, herstellingen of wijzigingen
aan het product vervalt de garantie onmiddellijk.

DE HIERBOVEN VERMELDE PUNTEN VORMEN DE ENIGE GARANTIE, DIE LINE 6 AAN HAAR EINDKLANTEN GEEFT. ZIJ
VERVANGEN ALLE ANDERE EVENTUEEL EERDER TOEGEKENDE GARANTIES. ER WORDT GEEN ENKELE STILZWIJGENDE
GARANTIE GEGEVEN, MET INBEGRIP VAN DE GARANTIE DAT DIT PRODUCT EEN VERKOOPSWAARDE HEEFT OF VOOR
EEN BEPAALDE TOEPASSING GESCHIKT IS, DIE NIET BINNEN HET BESTEK VAN DE GARANTIEBEPALINGEN VALT. NA AFLOOP

BEPERKEND TE ZIJN– VAN FINANCIEEL VERLIES, WINSTDERVING OF ANDERE SCHADE DIE TE WIJTEN ZOUDEN KUNNEN

Eventuele transportschade of verlies moet dan ook worden verhaald op het transportbedrijf.

AANSPRAKELIJKHEID EN BEPERKING VAN DE GARANTIEBEPALINGEN

Alvorens contact op te nemen met het serviceteam van Line 6 verdient het aanbeveling om deze handleiding
aandachtig door te nemen. Misschien bevat dit document al het antwoord op je vraag. Bijkomende inlichtingen
