Effect On-Off / Power Indicator Light
The Power Indicator Light on your ToneCore uses two
colors to indicate the pedal’s state:
•Light not lit – Effect is bypassed (off)
•GREEN – Effect is engaged (on)
•RED (flashing) – Batteries should be replaced
This low power indication will override all other states
Connections and Power Indicator Light
In Jack
Here’s where it all begins. Use a standard guitar cable
to connect your guitar, or the output of another effect
to use in combination with your ToneCore. Like most
pedals, inserting a plug into this jack will turn on the
power to your ToneCore. Disconnect the plug from
this jack when the ToneCore is not being used.
Out Jack
Use a standard guitar cable to connect to the input of
a guitar amp, or the input of another effect that will feed
your amp.
Power Jack
Connect an optional ToneCore-compatible Line 6
power supply like the DC-1, and you'll never need a
9-volt battery again!

OTTO FILTER
Sens
The Sensitivity knob controls how the filter responds
to the dynamics of your playing. Higher sensitivity
settings (clockwise rotation) make it easier to get the
filter in motion during quiet passages of your playing.
At low sensitivity settings (counterclockwise rotation)
you must play harder (louder) to get the filter moving.
Range
The Range knob tells the filter how far up or down the
frequency spectrum (depending on the MODE switch)
you want the filter to travel. Low range settings
(counterclockwise rotation) will accentuate lower
frequencies; increased range (clockwise rotation) will
accentuate higher frequencies.

Peak
The Peak knob controls the filter's shape. Increase Peak
(clockwise) to narrow the filter for a more dramatic
effect. Decrease Peak to widen the filter, for a milder
effect.
Filter Switch
This control is used to select the pedals filter type used.
BP - Band Pass
Low frequencies and high frequencies are cut, leaving
only the frequencies in between. The center frequency
of the band moves in response to the dynamics of your
playing.
Controls
Up / Down
Selects if the filter moves Up or Down the frequency
spectrum in response to your playing.
Up
The filter travels from low frequencies (when your
playing soft) to higher frequencies (when you play
louder).
TF - Twin Filter
Two band pass filters moving in opposite directions of
each other. One band moves from high to low
frequencies, the other from low to high. The center
frequency of each band moves in response to the
dynamics of your playing.
LP - Low Pass
Low frequencies are passed while high frequencies are
cut. The cutoff frequency of the band moves in response
to the dynamics of your playing.
Down
The filter travels from high frequencies (when playing
soft) to low frequencies (when playing louder).
