EASILY REMOVABLE GASKETS: Solid door
gaskets are easily removed without tools for
cleaning or replacement, eliminating the expense
of a service call.
FIELD REHINGEABLE DOOR: Maximum flexibility
for layout changes.
Thermal vinyl door frame design that allows
replacement of perimeter door heaters, should it
be necessary, which reduces operating costs.
CHOICE OF TWO FINISHES: Allows customer to
choose the best finish for their application. Units are
available in: stainless steel exterior and interior;
stainless steel exterior, DuraFinish aluminum interior
with stainless steel bottom.
WARRANTY: The QF series cabinet warranty is for
two years. It includes parts, labor, and travel during
normal working hours in the continental United
States. Non-prorated compressor warranty for an
additional three years.
REFRIGERATION SYSTEM: Unitized and located
on top of the cabinet consisting of:
Motor-Compressor, high starting torque, hermetic
rated as follows:
1 Section - 1⁄2 H.P. and rated 1650 BTU at 90°F
ambient and -15°F evaporated temperature.
2 Section - 3⁄4 H.P. and rated 3100 BTU at 90°F
ambient and -15°F evaporator temperature.
3 Section - 1 H.P. and rated 4800 BTU at 90°F
ambient and -15°F evaporator temperature.
Condenser fan and fan motor.
Heavy duty condenser, copper and aluminum
designed to match motor compressor rating.
R-404a Refrigerant and non-CFC polyurethane
foam insulation.
Coil fan and fan motor.
Removable, insulated coil housing.
Evaporator: Coated aluminum copper for long life
and corrosion resistance.
Temperature control.
Refrigeration inside cabinet is by fan circulated
air which is drawn up through vents in the ceiling,
passed through cooling coils, and returned to the
cabinet through Hobart louvered down-duct(s) that
provide uniform cooling throughout the cabinet,
regardless of the loading pattern. Defrosting is
automatic.

Exterior: Front housing, ends and doors are No. 4
finish stainless steel. Front frame is extruded thermal
plastic providing superior thermal break between the
interior and exterior of the cabinet eliminating the need
for anti-condensate heaters. Exterior top, back and
bottom are galvanized steel.
Interior: Liner is crimped construction of No. 4 finish
stainless steel with 3⁄8" radius bends. Door drums are

HARDWARE AND FITTINGS: Heavy-duty, bumpertype door handle positioned horizontally with cylinder
locks. Positive action door hinged mechanism fitted
with stops, are chromium plated and are mounted to
reveal full door opening when door is open past
90 degrees. Door stays open at 105 degrees, and self
closes at less than 90 degrees. Solid doors are field
rehingeable.
Door gaskets are of smooth, high quality vinyl and are
easily replaceable without the use of tools. Exterior,
solar powered, digital thermometer is standard on all
cabinets.
PLUMBING: No plumbing connections are required.
Condensate water automatically evaporated from the
top of the cabinet. Water drains from refrigeration coil
to a corrosion-resistant plastic tray where evaporation
is assisted by the condenser fan and heat from the
corrosion-resistant discharge line.
INSULATION: CFC Free Polyurethane foam, poured,
expanded and bonded in place, completely filling all
cavities between inner and exterior surfaces of the
cabinet and doors.
Mean Daily Energy Consumption (KWHR) tested to
