the post then tighten a screw
in the small hole at 1/2”
(13mm) from the end of the
post.
Note: Additionnal 3/32” (2.5 mm) holes may be drilled for alternative rack positioning on the posts.
Insert a rack from the other
end of the post and slide it
down until it sits on the

INSTALLATION
Make sure that the system is properly secured to an
appropriate mounting surface using fasteners (not
included) that are compatible with mounting surface
and make sure that the mounting surface and fasteners
are able to support the weight of the system and the
items you will store on it.
If mounting to a wall, first locate the structural supports
(studs or wall beams or posts) and secure the system,
through the wall into these supports.
The distance between the two posts should be approximately 4’ to 6’ (1200-1800mm) depending on the average length of the lumber or other items to be stored, as
well as the location of the structural supports in the wall.
Tighten another screw in the
next hole and install another
rack.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY FROM SYSTEM FAILURE OR COLLAPSE,
DO NOT MOUNT THE SYSTEM TO DRYWALL, PARTICLE BOARDOR OTHER
ON-STRUCTURAL SURFACES ALONE. MAKE SURE THE FASTENERS USED
N
FIRMLY SECURE THE SYSTEM TO A STRUCTURAL MEMBER, SUCH AS A
WALL STUD, BEAM OR POST. DO NOT EXCEED THE RATED WEIGHT
APACITY OF 110 LBS (55 LBS) PER LEVEL.

Note: For longer items, a second shelving system may be
required. For shorter items, reduce the space between the two
posts.
Recommended mounting hardware (not included)
Mounting to wood: Use minimum 2 1/2” (65 mm) long, 12 gauge wood screws.
Mounting to masonry: Use minimum 1/4” (6 mm) masonry
anchors that are suitable for 1 1/4” - 1 1/2” (30 - 40 mm)
thick material.
Place a round spacer behind the post, in line with the
upper mounting hole and secure the post to the mounting surface. Repeat with the two other mounting holes.
Install the second post, making sure it is leveled with the
first one. You can now store your lumber.
