BOWLING DELIVERY SELECTION
The bowler’s delivery selection appears on-screen. Not all bowlers have the same arsenal of deliveries. A bowler’s
standard delivery for their bowling type will always be assigned to S / Button 2. The remaining pitches are assigned
to D / Button 3 , W / Button 4 , A / Button 1 , SHIFT / Button 5 , SPACEBAR / Button 6 , CTRL / Button 7 , and ALT /
Button 8 (though not all bowlers have eight deliveries). A player, depending on their bowling ability and also their
bowling type, can have anywhere between 1 and 8 deliveries in total.
SPECIAL DELIVERIES
Each individual player has a different assortment of deliveries at their disposal but not all deliveries are available to a
bowler at all times. If a player is skilled enough they will have deliveries included in their repertoire called “Special
Deliveries”.
A Special Delivery is only available within a bowler’s selection and is only displayed on-screen when the bowler’s
“Special” gauge is full. In order to fill their gauge the bowler must be consistent and concede as less runs as possible
while taking a wicket will make a larger contribution to filling the gauge. Once the gauge is filled, all of that bowler’s
Special Deliveries, provided they have them, will become available for selection for the next delivery.
Once a Special Delivery is used, the bowler’s “Special” gauge will empty and the process starts again and the
Special Deliveries will no longer be available. The exception is if the bowler takes a wicket with a Special Delivery the
gauge will remain full.
