Cordless Inflator &
Rechargeable 12-Volt
Power Pack
Description
The cordless inflator delivers up to
230/250 psi and serves as a rechargeable
12-volt power supply. This inflator
inflates tires, rafts and sports
equipment and also powers 12-volt
tools and appliances.
Unpacking
When unpacking this product, carefully
inspect for any damage that may have
occurred during transit.

Safety Guidelines
This manual contains information
that is very important to know and
understand. This information is
provided for SAFETY and to PREVENT
EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS. To help
recognize this information, observe the
following symbols.
Danger indicates an
imminently
hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, WILL result in death or serious
injury.
Warning indicates a
potentially
hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, COULD result in death or
serious injury.
Caution indicates a
potentially
hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, MAY result in minor or
moderate injury.
8. Do not put metal objects into the
12-volt DC power outlet.
9. Always replace the fuse with the
same amperage rating (10 amp).
Never use a fuse with a higher
amperage rating.
The cordless inflator battery is not fully
charged. The battery must be charged
using either the 120-volt AC or the
12-volt DC recharging adapter before
the initial use. For best results, charge
the battery in temperatures ranging
from 65°F (18°C) to 75°F (24°C).

Operation
Battery must be
charged before
initial use and if the yellow light comes
on. If the power is totally drained
from the battery and not recharged,
the battery may not be rechargeable.
Recharge the unit every 3-to-6 months
even if the unit has not been used.
120-VOLT AC RECHARGING
To recharge the battery using the 120-
volt AC adapter, follow the subsequent
procedures:
1. Push the power switch to the off
position and insert the 120-volt AC
recharging adapter into the AC
charge input socket located next to
the power switch.
Notice indicates
important
information, that if not followed, may
cause damage to equipment.
NOTE: Information that requires special
attention.
General Safety Information
GENERAL SAFETY
The following safety precautions must
be followed at all times along with any
other existing safety rules:
1. Completely read the
manual(s) included with
this product carefully. Be
thoroughly familiar with
the proper use of the unit.
2. Do not continue to operate the
inflator after the yellow battery
indicator light comes on.
3. Only use the enclosed recharging
adapters.
4. Avoid charging the battery at
temperatures below 40°F (5° C) or
above 105°F (40°C).
Do not operate the
inflator with
the 120-volt AC recharging adapter
connected to the unit because the
charger could become damaged.
5. Never operate the inflator
near fire, flammable gas
or liquid.
6. Never leave unit
unattended while in use.
7. Protect the unit from rain, snow or
other sources of moisture.

2. Plug the charger into a 110/120-volt
electrical outlet.
3. The red charging light will come on
indicating the battery is recharging
and will remain on until charger is
removed. No other indicator lights
will come on.
4. Charge the inflator for 14 to
16 continuous hours before
initial use. After multiple uses,
recharge the battery for 7 to 9
hours. If the unit is used too long
after the yellow light comes on,
recharging time could take up to
20 hours and the battery life may
be shortened.
Do not operate
the unit while
recharging with the 120-volt AC
adapter. Damage will occur to the
charger.
12-VOLT DC RECHARGING
This unit is NOT
intended for
recharging a car battery.
Never start the car
(vehicle) when
the 12-volt DC recharging adapter is
plugged into the cigarette lighter.
NOTE: Charging the battery while the
car engine is not running drains the car
battery and is not recommended. If the
unit is used too long after the yellow
light comes on, recharging time could
take up to 7 hours.
To recharge the battery using the
12-volt DC adapter while driving,
follow the subsequent procedures:
1. Insert the 12-volt DC recharging
adapter into the 12-volt DC output
socket.
2. Insert the other end into the
cigarette lighter and rotate to make
a good electrical contact.
3. The inflator should be charged for
5 to 6 hours while driving before
the initial use. After multiple uses,
recharge the inflator for 3 hours.
BATTERY INDICATOR LIGHTS
Green and yellow lights show the
battery condition. The green light
indicates a charged battery. The yellow
light indicates the battery is low
and needs recharging. The red light
indicates the AC charger is connected
and charging.
If the battery is drained after the green
light is off, the life of the battery may
be shortened.
INFLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Do not leave the
inflator unattended
while the unit is running.
The universal
adapter must
be locked to secure the inflation
accessories. Any misuse could cause
property damage or personal injury. Use
extreme caution when using inflation
accessories.
Turn unit off to
allow inflator to
cool for 20 minutes after 20 minutes
of continuous operation. If not cooled
properly the inflator will overheat.
Make sure the
universal adapter
touches the core of tire valve stem.
After the battery is charged, the inflator
is ready for use. If the battery has not
been charged, see sections 120-VOLT AC
CHARGING or 12-VOLT DC CHARGING
before continuing.
1. Remove valve stem cap. Attach
the universal adapter from the air
inflator to the valve stem with the
lever in the up position. Be sure
to press universal adapter down
over valve stem threads completely.
When universal adapter is firmly in
place, press locking lever down to
lock onto valve stem (See Fig 1).
2. To use the inflation accessories,
insert piece into the universal
adapter and push the lever to
lock into place (See Figure 1). The
inflation accessory will fit securely.
3. Insert the appropriate inflation
accessory into the inflatable object.
4. Turn on the power and the
compressor switch.
5. When the object is firm, turn the
inflator off. Do not over inflate
objects.
12-VOLT DC POWER SUPPLY
The inflator can supply power to 12-volt
DC items rated under 10 amps by simply
inserting the item's plug into the 12-volt
DC output socket. Do not attempt to
connect items exceeding the 10 amp,
12-volt rating.
FUSE REPLACEMENT
When replacing the fuse, make sure
the inflator is turned off and nothing
is connected to the inflator. A spare 10
amp fuse is supplied with the inflator
(See “Specifications and Features” sheet
for location of fuse.) NEVER replace a
blown fuse with a fuse having a higher
rating.
Storage
Store the inflator between 65°F (18°C)
and 75°F (24°C) with the universal
adapter in the open position. Make sure
the power switch is in the off position.
Battery Disposal
This product contains a rechargeable
sealed lead-acid battery. The
environmental laws in some states
require retailers to accept returns of
rechargeable batteries for proper
disposal. Check the state environmental
laws before disposing this product.

3. WHO RECEIVES THIS WARRANTY (PURCHASER): The original purchaser (other than for purposes of resale) of the Campbell
Hausfeld product.
4. WHAT PRODUCTS ARE COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY: Any Campbell Hausfeld nailer, stapler, air tool, spray gun, inflator or
air accessory supplied or manufactured by Warrantor.
5. WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY: Substantial defects in material and workmanship which occur within the
duration of the warranty period.
6. WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY:
A. Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED FROM THE
DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE AS STATED IN THE DURATION. If this product is used for commercial, industrial or rental
purposes, the warranty will apply for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Some States do not allow limitation on
how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
B. ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, DAMAGE, OR EXPENSE THAT MAY RESULT FROM ANY DEFECT,
FAILURE, OR MALFUNCTION OF THE CAMPBELL HAUSFELD PRODUCT. Some States do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
C. Any failure that results from an accident, purchaser’s abuse, neglect or failure to operate products in accordance with
instructions provided in the owner’s manual(s) supplied with product. Accident, purchaser's abuse, neglect or failure to
operate products in accordance with instructions shall also include the removal or alteration of any safety devices. If such
safety devices are removed or altered, this warranty is void.
D. Normal adjustments which are explained in the owner’s manual(s) provided with the product.
E. Items or service that are normally required to maintain the product, i.e. o-rings, springs, bumpers, debris shields, driver
blades, fuses, batteries, gaskets, packings or seals, fluid nozzles, needles, sandblast nozzles, lubricants, material hoses,
filter elements, motor vanes, abrasives, blades, cut-off wheels, chisels, chisel retainers, cutters, collets, chucks, rivet jaws,
screw driver bits, sanding pads, back-up pads, impact mechanism, or any other expendable part not specifically listed.
These items will only be covered for ninety (90) days from date of original purchase. Underlined items are warranted for
defects in material and workmanship only.
7. RESPONSIBILITIES OF WARRANTOR UNDER THIS WARRANTY: Repair or replace, at Warrantor’s option, products or
components which are defective, have malfunctioned and/or failed to conform within duration of the warranty period.
8. RESPONSIBILITIES OF PURCHASER UNDER THIS WARRANTY:
A. Provide dated proof of purchase and maintenance records.
B. Call Campbell Hausfeld (800) 543-6400 to obtain your warranty service options. Freight costs must be borne by the
purchaser.
C. Use reasonable care in the operation and maintenance of the products as described in the owner’s manual(s).
9. WHEN WARRANTOR WILL PERFORM REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT UNDER THIS WARRANTY: Repair or replacement will be
scheduled and serviced according to the normal work flow at the servicing location, and depending on the availability of
replacement parts.
This Limited Warranty applies in the United States, Canada and Mexico only and gives you specific legal rights. You may also
have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country.
