The design of the BMW 3 Series has always epitomised athleticism and elegance. These two personality traits can also be found in the interior of the BMW 3 Series Saloon. Choose

In the interior, which always harmonises perfectly with the exterior, colours and materials are

The new eight-speed Steptronic transmission (optional) performs smooth, almost imperceptible gear shifts. The gear ratios are so tightly spaced that only a glance at the rev counter reveals just how fast and silky the gear changes really are. is also the principle of BMW ConnectedDrive.
Whichever component you choose, it
is always optimally integrated into your
BMW 3 Series Saloon. After all, these
innovations are all about networking –
connecting the driver and vehicle with their
environment. An ideal example of what
BMW ConnectedDrive offers is the optional full-colour BMW Head-Up Display1 [02],
which projects all relevant driving information
into the driver’s immediate feld of vision.
The beneft: you can fully concentrate on the
road ahead, and arrive safely and relaxed.
BMW ConnectedDrive Driver Assistance systems include outstanding
optional features for the BMW 3 Series Saloon such as Active
Cruise Control with Stop&Go function, Speed Limit Info including
no-overtaking indicator and numerous innovative safety functions
included in Active Protection. The Real Time Traffc Information (RTTI)
service reliably ensures that your journey time is never longer than
it need be. Using Internet and mobile radio data, this feature reports
traffc conditions, even on B-roads, as precisely as never before.
BMW ConnectedDrive Services & Apps provide lots of infotainment
material, ensuring that your drive is as entertaining as it can be. For example through features such as BMW Apps [01], which is included in the ConnectedDrive Services to provide live in-car
access to web radio stations or social networking sites like Facebook
and Twitter. These functions are shown on the freestanding, anti-glare
fatscreen Control Display. The optional Harman Kardon Surround
Sound System with 16 loudspeakers provides the right acoustic
environment. Look forward to a unique driving experience – there
is no shortage of entertainment.
