high-per formance features you c an achieve the typical hard rock or heav y metal distortion sounds.

(1) The LEVEL control adjust s the output level.
(2) The CONTOUR control modies the tone of the signal to achieve everything f rom traditional to
super-modern sounds. Turning it to the right will create a milder sound while turning it to the le ft
provides heavier and sharper sounds.
(3) The PUNCH control adds aggressive mid-frequency punch to the signal for more dis tinctive
distortion sounds.
(4) The DIST(ortion) control adjusts the amount of distortion eect.
(5) The ON/BATT LED illuminates when the eec t is activated. It als o serves as a batter y level indicator.
(6) Use the foot switch to activate/deac tivate the eect.
(7) Use this ¼" TS IN connector to plug in the ins trument cable.
(8) The ¼" TS OUT connector s ends the signal to your amp.
Use the DC IN connection to plug in a 9 V power supply (not included).
The BATTERY COMPARTMENT is located underneath the pedal cover. To install or replace the 9 V bat tery
(not included), press the hinges with a ballpoint pen and remove the pedal cover. Be caref ul not to
scratch the unit.
◊ The XD300 has no on/o switch. As soon as you inser t the plug into the IN connector,
the XD300 is on. When not in use, remove the plug from the IN connector. This extends
the life of the battery.
The SERIAL NUMBER is located at the underside.
