Introduction

The Stereo Bluetooth™ Headset HBH-DS970 lets you stay in control of your incoming and outgoing phone calls. You can enjoy stereo audio from a phone or other Bluetooth device, such as a computer or a portable music player. When you receive or make a call, the music automatically pauses and starts playing again when the call ends.

Your phone or other device should support the following Bluetooth profiles:

• Bluetooth Handsfree or Bluetooth Headset.

• Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution.

• Bluetooth Audio/Video Remote Control profile.

Getting started

To charge the headset

First time use: Charge approximately 8 hours before using the headset.

Adding the headset to the phone

Before you can use the headset with your phone it has to be added once to the phone. Follow the instructions from the phone user guide on how to turn on Bluetooth in your phone.

To add the headset to the phone

Turn on Bluetooth in your phone.

Turn on Bluetooth visibility in your phone, and keep it close to the headset (20 cm).

Select singlepoint mode and make sure the headset is off.

Press and hold the on/off button for 2 seconds. You hear a signal and the Sony Ericsson logo is displayed briefly. The display shows when the headset is prepared to be added to the phone. If not, make sure the headset is off, and press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal.

If your phone supports auto pairing, press YES when Add device? appears in your phone to complete the procedure. If not, continue with the next step.

Prepare your phone according to the phone user guide on how to add a Bluetooth device. Please note that for some phones you may need to enter a passcode. The headset passcode is 0000.

Note: For Bluetooth communication, we recommend a maximum distance of 10 metres, with no solid objects in between.

To turn the headset on or off

Press and hold the on/off button for 2 seconds. You hear a signal. The Sony Ericsson logo is displayed briefly.

To turn on the backlight

Press any button. The backlight turns off automatically.

To reset the headset to default settings

Make sure the headset is off, and press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal. The headset is prepared to be added.

Press and hold the on/off button and the call handling button simultaneously for 5 seconds. The headset is turned off.

Listening to music

Before you can listen to music, the headset has to be added once to your phone, see instructions on page 8.

To play a music track

Start the media player in your phone, and select to use the headset.

Press the music button. The headset connects to your phone, and the music starts playing.

To pause the music or start playing again, press the music button.

To stop the music

Press and hold the music button. The music stops.

To start the music again, press the music button. The headset connects to your phone, and the music starts playing.

To skip to another music track

Select Next or Previous.

To adjust the music volume

When you listen to music, press the volume button up or down.

Using another device as a music source

In singlepoint mode, the headset is connected only to your phone. In multipoint mode, you can use the headset together with your phone and one of your other Bluetooth devices, where music is saved.

Before you can listen to music from another device, the headset has to be added once to the device. The headset can be added to up to 10 devices. When you press the music button, the headset connects to the most recently used device.

To add the headset to another device

Turn on Bluetooth in your device.

Turn on Bluetooth visibility in your device, and keep it close to the headset (20 cm).

Select multipoint mode and make sure the headset is off.

Press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal. The headset is prepared to be added.

Prepare your device according to the device user guide on how to add a Bluetooth device. Please note that you may need to enter a passcode. The headset passcode is 0000.

Calling functions

Your phone uses the headset for calls, even if you are listening to music from another device in multipoint mode.

To answer a call

Press the call handling button. The music pauses during the call.

To reject a call

Press and hold the call handling button for 2 seconds.

To end a call

Press the call handling button. The display shows the duration of the call. The music starts playing again.

To make a call using voice commands

Press the call handling button and the music is muted.

Say the name you want to call. To be able to use this function, you first have to activate voice control in your phone and record voice commands. For more information on voice commands, and if your phone supports it, refer to the phone user guide.

To transfer sound from phone to headset

During an ongoing call in your phone, press the call handling button on the headset. To transfer from headset to phone, refer to the phone user guide.

To switch between two calls

Press and hold the call handling button for 2 seconds.

To redial the last dialled number

Press the call handling button quickly twice.

To turn the microphone on or off (mute)

During a call, press both volume buttons.

To adjust the ringtone volume

When you have no ongoing call or music playing, press the volume button up or down.

To adjust the speaker volume for calls

During a call, press the volume button up or down.

Troubleshooting

No connection to phone or other device

• Before you can use your Stereo Bluetooth Headset

with your phone or other device it has to be added

once according to page 8.

• It is recommended to first add the headset to your

phone, in singlepoint mode. Select singlepoint mode

and add the headset to the phone again. In

multipoint mode, the phone or other device that first

adds the headset will be used for phone calls.

• Make sure the headset is charged and within range

of the phone or other device. We recommend a

maximum distance of 10 metres, with no solid

objects in between.

• Check or redo the Bluetooth settings in the phone

or other device. For more information on

Bluetooth and pairing, go to

www.sonyericsson.com/learnabout.

Redial does not work

If the call list in the phone is empty you cannot use the redial function.

The headset does not connect to my music source

• Make sure your device is available, and supports

Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution profile.

The headset tries to connect to the most recent

device used as a music source. You may have to

restart the media player in your device.

• Check the setting of the singlepoint/multipoint

mode selection button.

The remote control functions do not work

Make sure your device supports Bluetooth Audio/Video Remote Control profile.

The headset is switched off automatically

• The battery is too low. You hear a low beep.

• When you are adding the headset, it switches off if

you do not add it to the phone within 10 minutes.

Battery capacity

A battery that has been infrequently used or a new one, could have reduced capacity. It may need to be recharged a number of times.

Einführung

Mit dem Bluetooth™ Stereo-Headset HBH-DS970 können Sie nicht nur ankommende und abgehende Anrufe verwalten, sondern auch Musik aus dem Telefon oder einem anderen Bluetooth Gerät (z. B. Computer oder portabler Player) in Stereoqualität genießen. Wenn Sie einen Anruf erhalten oder tätigen, wird die Musikwiedergabe automatisch unterbrochen und nach Beendigung des Anrufs fortgesetzt.

Erste Schritte

So laden Sie das Headset:

Erstbenutzung: Laden Sie das Headset ca. 8 Stunden, bevor Sie es benutzen.

Headset mit dem Telefon koppeln

Damit Sie das Headset mit dem Telefon nutzen können, muss es mit dem Telefon gekoppelt werden. Führen Sie die in der Telefon-Bedienungsanleitung angegebenen Schritte zum Aktivieren von Bluetooth aus.

So koppeln Sie das Headset mit dem Telefon:

Aktivieren Sie Bluetooth im Telefon.

Aktivieren Sie im Telefon die Bluetooth

Sichtbarkeit und bringen Sie es in eine Entfernung

von maximal 20 cm zum Headset.

Aktivieren Sie den Einzelmodus. Das Headset muss

ausgeschaltet sein.

Drücken und halten Sie zwei Sekunden lang die

Ein/Aus-Taste. Sie hören ein Tonsignal. Außerdem

wird das Sony Ericsson-Logo kurz angezeigt.

Das Display meldet, wenn das Headset mit dem

Telefon gekoppelt werden kann. Schalten Sie das

Headset andernfalls aus. Drücken und halten Sie

dann die Ein/Aus-Taste 5 Sekunden lang. Nach dem

ersten Signal hören Sie einen langen Ton.

Wenn das Telefon das automatische Koppeln

unterstützt, drücken Sie „Ja“, sobald die Frage

„Gerät hinzufügen?“ angezeigt wird. Fahren Sie

andernfalls mit dem nächsten Schritt fort.

Bereiten Sie das Telefon mit den in der zugehörigen

Bedienungsanleitung angegebenen Schritten zum

Hinzufügen eines Bluetooth Geräts vor. Bei einigen

Telefonen müssen Sie eine Kennung eingeben.

Die Kennung des Headsets lautet 0000. Hinweis: Für die Bluetooth Kommunikation empfehlen

wir eine maximale Distanz von 10 m ohne Festkörper in der Sichtlinie zwischen den Geräten.

So schalten Sie das Headset ein oder aus:

Drücken und halten Sie zwei Sekunden lang die Ein/ Aus-Taste. Sie hören einen Signalton. Das Sony Ericsson-Logo wird kurz angezeigt.

So schalten Sie die Hintergrundbeleuchtung ein:

Drücken Sie eine Taste. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung erlischt automatisch.

So stellen Sie die HeadsetStandardeinstellungen wieder her:

Das Headset muss ausgeschaltet sein. Drücken und

halten Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste 5 Sekunden lang.

Nach dem ersten Signal hören Sie einen langen Ton.

Das Headset wird auf die Koppelung vorbereitet.

Drücken und halten Sie 5 Sekunden lang die Ein/

Aus-Taste und die Anruftaste gleichzeitig.

Das Headset wird ausgeschaltet.

Musik hören

Bevor Sie Musik hören können, muss das Headset mit dem Telefon gekoppelt werden. Beachten Sie die Anleitung auf Seite 22.

So spielen Sie einen Musiktitel ab:

Starten Sie den Player im Telefon und wählen

Sie das Headset als Ziel.

Drücken Sie die Musiktaste. Das Headset stellt

die Verbindung zum Telefon her und die

Musikwiedergabe startet.

Drücken Sie die Musiktaste, um die

Musikwiedergabe anzuhalten bzw. fortzusetzen.

So stoppen Sie die Musikwiedergabe:

Drücken und halten Sie die Musiktaste. Die Musik

wird gestoppt.

Drücken Sie die Musiktaste, um die Musik wieder

zu starten. Das Headset stellt die Verbindung zum

Telefon her und die Musikwiedergabe startet.

So gelangen Sie zu einem anderen Titel:

Wählen Sie „Nächster“ oder „Vorheriger“.

So stellen Sie die Musiklautstärke ein:

Drücken Sie die Taste „Lautstärke erhöhen“ oder „Lautstärke verringern“, während Sie Musik hören.

Anderes Gerät als Musikquelle

Im Einzelmodus wird das Headset ausschließlich mit dem Telefon verbunden. Im Multimodus können Sie das Headset mit dem Telefon sowie mit einem anderen Bluetooth Gerät nutzen, in dem Musikdateien gespeichert sind.

Bevor Sie Musikdateien des anderen Geräts anhören können, muss das Headset mit dem Gerät gekoppelt werden. Das Headset kann mit bis zu 10 Geräten gekoppelt werden. Wenn Sie die Musiktaste drücken, stellt das Headset eine Verbindung zu dem zuletzt verwendeten Gerät her.

Bereiten Sie das Gerät mit den in der zugehörigen Bedienungsanleitung angegebenen Schritten auf das Koppeln eines Bluetooth Geräts vor. Bei einigen Geräten müssen Sie eine Kennung eingeben. Die Kennung des Headsets lautet 0000.

Anruffunktionen

Das Telefon verwendet das Headset für Anrufe, auch wenn Sie im Multimodus Musikdateien von einem anderen Gerät anhören.

So nehmen Sie einen Anruf an:

Drücken Sie die Anruftaste. Während des Anrufs wird die Musikwiedergabe unterbrochen.

So weisen Sie einen Anruf ab:

Drücken und halten Sie zwei Sekunden lang die Anruftaste.

So beenden Sie einen Anruf:

Drücken Sie die Anruftaste. Das Display zeigt die Dauer des Anrufs. Die Musikwiedergabe wird fortgesetzt.

So tätigen Sie Anrufe sprachgesteuert:

Drücken Sie die Anruftaste, um die Musik stumm zu schalten.

Sagen Sie den anzurufenden Namen.

Damit Sie diese Funktion verwenden können, müssen Sie zunächst die Sprachsteuerung im Telefon aktivieren und Sprachbefehle aufnehmen. Weitere Informationen zu Sprachbefehlen und deren Unterstützung durch das Telefon finden Sie in der zugehörigen Bedienungsanleitung.

So übertragen Sie den Ton vom Telefon zum Headset:

Drücken Sie die Anruftaste am Headset, während Sie ein Gespräch mit dem Telefon führen. Die Übertragung vom Headset zum Telefon ist in der Bedienungsanleitung des Telefons beschrieben.

So wechseln Sie zwischen beiden Anrufen:

Drücken und halten Sie zwei Sekunden lang die Anruftaste.

So wiederholen Sie das Wählen der zuletzt verwendeten Rufnummer:

Drücken Sie die Anruftaste zwei Mal in schneller Folge.

So schalten Sie das Mikrofon ein oder aus:

Drücken Sie während eines Anrufs beide Lautstärketasten.

So stellen Sie die Ruftonlautstärke ein:

Drücken Sie die Taste „Lautstärke erhöhen“ oder „Lautstärke verringern“, wenn kein aktiver Anruf vorliegt und keine Musikdatei abgespielt wird.

So stellen Sie die Lautstärke des Lautsprechers für Anrufe ein:

Drücken Sie während eines Anrufs „Lautstärke erhöhen“ oder „Lautstärke verringern“.

Fehlerbeseitigung

Keine Verbindung zu Telefon oder anderem Gerät

• Bevor Sie das Bluetooth Stereo-Headset mit dem

Telefon oder einem anderen Gerät benutzen können, muss es mit dem betreffenden Gerät gekoppelt werden (siehe Seite 22).

• Zunächst sollten Sie das Headset im Einzelmodus

mit dem Telefon koppeln. Aktivieren Sie den Einzelmodus und koppeln Sie das Headset erneut mit dem Telefon. Im Multimodus wird das Telefon bzw. Gerät für Anrufe verwendet, das zuerst mit dem Headset gekoppelt wurde.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Headset geladen ist und

sich in Reichweite des Telefons bzw. des anderen Geräts befindet. Wir empfehlen eine maximale Distanz von 10 m ohne Festkörper in der Sichtlinie zwischen den Geräten.

• Überprüfen oder korrigieren Sie die Bluetooth

Einstellungen im Telefon bzw. im anderen Gerät. Weitere Informationen zu Bluetooth und zum Koppeln finden Sie unter

Wahlwiederholung funktioniert nicht

Wenn die Anrufliste im Telefon leer ist, kann die Wahlwiederholungsfunktion nicht verwendet werden.

Das Headset stellt keine Verbindung zu meiner Musikquelle her

• Überprüfen Sie, ob das Gerät verfügbar ist und

ob es das Profil Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution unterstützt. Das Headset versucht zunächst, eine Verbindung zu dem Gerät herzustellen, das zuletzt als Musikquelle verwendet wurde. Sie müssen den Player im Gerät ggf. neu starten.

• Überprüfen Sie die Position der Auswahltaste für

Einzelmodus bzw. Multimodus.

Fernbedienungsfunktionen arbeiten nicht

Das Gerät muss das Profil Bluetooth Audio/Video Remote Control unterstützen.

Headset wird automatisch ausgeschaltet

• Der Akku ist nicht mehr ausreichend geladen.

Sie hören einen tiefen Signalton.

• Das Headset schaltet sich aus, wenn Sie es nicht

innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Telefon koppeln.

Akkukapazität

Ein nur wenig benutzter Akku oder ein neuer Akku kann eine geringe Kapazität aufweisen. Er muss dann mehrmals ge- und entladen werden.

Para cargar el auricular

Active Bluetooth en el teléfono.

Active la visibilidad Bluetooth en el teléfono y acérquelo al auricular (20 cm).

Seleccione el modo de punto único y compruebe que el auricular está apagado.

Mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido/apagado durante 2 segundos. Oirá una señal y aparecerá brevemente el logotipo de Sony Ericsson en la pantalla. En la pantalla aparecerá un aviso cuando el auricular esté listo para ser añadido al teléfono. Si no aparece, compruebe que el auricular está apagado y mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido/ apagado durante 5 segundos. Oirá un pitido largo después de la primera señal.

Si su teléfono admite auto pairing, indíquelo así cuando en el teléfono se le pregunte si desea agregar dispositivo para finalizar con el procedimiento. En caso contrario, continúe con el siguiente paso.

Resolución de problemas

No hay conexión con el teléfono u otro dispositivo

• Antes de utilizar el auricular Bluetooth estéreo con

el teléfono u otro dispositivo, debe añadirlo según

se describe en la página 38.

• Se recomienda añadir primero el auricular al

teléfono, en el modo de punto único. Seleccione

el modo de punto único y añada de nuevo el

auricular al teléfono. En el modo de punto múltiple,

se utilizará para las llamadas el primer teléfono

• Asegúrese de que el manos libres esté cargado

El auricular no conecta con mi fuente de música

• Compruebe que el dispositivo esté disponible y que

dispositivo utilizado como fuente de música. Puede

que necesite reiniciar el reproductor de medios del

dispositivo.

• Compruebe los ajustes del botón de selección

Las funciones de control remoto no funcionan

El auricular se apaga solo

Introduction

Les écouteurs stéréo Bluetooth™ HBH-DS970 vous permettent de gérer les appels téléphoniques entrants et sortants. Vous pouvez écouter du son stéréo à partir d’un téléphone ou d’un autre périphérique Bluetooth tel qu’un ordinateur ou un lecteur audio portable. Lorsque vous recevez ou émettez un appel, la musique s’arrête automatiquement et reprend une fois l’appel terminé.

Pour charger les écouteurs

Première utilisation : Chargez les écouteurs pendant 8 heures environ avant de les utiliser.

Avant d’utiliser les écouteurs avec votre téléphone, vous devez les ajouter à celui-ci. Suivez les instructions du Guide d’utilisation du téléphone pour activer Bluetooth sur votre téléphone.

Activez Bluetooth sur votre téléphone.

Activez la visibilité Bluetooth sur votre téléphone

et gardez-le à proximité des écouteurs (20 cm).

Sélectionnez le mode monopoint et assurez-vous

que les écouteurs sont hors tension.

Maintenez enfoncé le commutateur de mise sous/

hors tension pendant 2 secondes. Vous entendez un

signal et le logo Sony Ericsson s’affiche brièvement.

L’affichage indique le moment où vous pouvez

ajouter les écouteurs au téléphone. Dans le cas

contraire, vérifiez si les écouteurs sont hors tension

et maintenez enfoncé le commutateur de mise sous/

hors tension pendant 5 secondes. Le premier signal

est suivi d’un long bip.

Si votre téléphone prend en charge le jumelage

automatique, appuyez sur YES lorsque Ajouter

périphérique ? apparaît sur l’appareil pour clôturer

à l’ajout d’un périphérique Bluetooth. Notez que

certains téléphones peuvent exiger la saisie d’un

hors tension pendant 5 secondes. Le premier signal

est suivi d’un long bip. Vous pouvez ajouter les

Maintenez enfoncés simultanément le commutateur

de mise sous/hors tension et la touche de gestion des

appels pendant 5 secondes. Les écouteurs sont mis

hors tension.

En mode monopoint, les écouteurs sont connectés à votre téléphone uniquement. En mode multipoint, vous pouvez utiliser les écouteurs avec votre téléphone et avec n’importe quel autre périphérique Bluetooth sur lequel vous avez enregistré de la musique.

Pour pouvoir écouter de la musique à partir d’un autre périphérique, vous devez ajouter les écouteurs à ce dernier. Les écouteurs peuvent être ajoutés à 10 périphériques maximum. Lorsque vous appuyez sur la touche Musique, les écouteurs se connectent au périphérique que vous avez utilisé en dernier.

Fonctions d’appel

En mode multipoint, votre téléphone utilise les écouteurs pour les appels, même si vous écoutez la musique d’un autre périphérique.

Pour répondre à un appel

Appuyez sur la touche de gestion des appels. La musique s’arrête pendant l’appel.

Pour rejeter un appel

Maintenez enfoncée la touche de gestion des appels pendant 2 secondes.

Pour mettre fin à un appel

Appuyez sur la touche de gestion des appels. La durée de l’appel apparaît sur l’affichage. La lecture de la musique reprend.

Pour émettre un appel à l’aide des commandes vocales

Appuyez sur la touche de gestion des appels. La musique est coupée.

Prononcez le nom de la personne que vous souhaitez appeler.

Maintenez enfoncée la touche de gestion des appels pendant 2 secondes.

Pendant un appel, appuyez sur les deux touches de réglage du volume.

Dépannage

Absence de connexion avec le téléphone ou un autre périphérique

• Avant d’utiliser vos écouteurs stéréo Bluetooth

avec votre téléphone ou un autre périphérique, vous devez les ajouter de la manière indiquée à la page 54.

• Il est conseillé de commencer par ajouter les

écouteurs au téléphone en mode monopoint. Sélectionnez le mode monopoint, puis ajoutez de nouveau les écouteurs au téléphone. En mode multipoint, c’est le téléphone ou tout autre périphérique qui accepte les écouteurs en premier qui est utilisé pour les appels téléphoniques.

• Assurez-vous que les écouteurs sont chargés et

à portée du téléphone ou de l’autre périphérique. Il est conseillé d’observer une distance inférieure à 10 mètres, sans aucun obstacle physique.

• Vérifiez ou réglez de nouveau les paramètres

Echec de la renumérotation

Si la liste d’appels du téléphone est vide, vous ne pouvez pas utiliser la fonction de renumérotation.

Les écouteurs ne se connectent pas à la source musicale

• Assurez-vous que votre périphérique est disponible

et qu’il prend en charge le profil Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution. Les écouteurs tentent de se connecter au périphérique utilisé comme dernière source. Il se peut que vous deviez redémarrer le lecteur média de votre périphérique.

• Vérifiez le réglage de la touche de sélection du

mode monopoint/multipoint.

Les fonctions de la télécommande ne fonctionnent pas

Assurez-vous que votre périphérique prend en charge le profil Bluetooth Audio/Video Remote Control.

Les écouteurs se mettent automatiquement hors tension

• La batterie est trop faible. Vous entendez un

faible bip.

• Lorsque vous ajoutez les écouteurs, ils se mettent

hors tension si vous ne les ajoutez pas au téléphone dans les 10 minutes.
