No Operation in DVD Mode

SYMPTOM

No operation in the DVD mode. In some cases "C-81" appears on the display.

CAUSE

Defective power supply.

SOLUTION

• Perform the modification explained in Technical Bulletin AU00302R (if necessary).

• Remove D909 "RK46LF-T2" (8-719-059-21) from the Power Board.

• Solder the part "Housing (D909) Assy" (1-824-569-11) to the holes of D909 as shown.

• Screw the new D909 "FMB-G16L"(8-719-312-08) onto the Power Board as shown and connect it to the

"Housing (D909) Assy". Pay attention to the polarity of D909.
