This hairdryer is intended exclusively for the drying and styling of

Safety instructions
DANGER! ELECTRIC SHOCK!
► Connect the travel hairdryer to a correctly in-
stalled power socket supplying a mains power
voltage of 120 / 220 - 240 V~, at 60/50 Hz.
► Under no circumstances should the appliance
be submersed in liquids or liquids be allowed to
penetrate the housing. Do not expose the appliance to moisture and do not use it outdoors.
If liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the appliance from the mains power socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualifi ed technician.
► In event of operating malfunctions and before
cleaning the appliance, remove the plug from
the mains power socket.
► To disconnect it, pull only on the plug itself, not
on the power cable.

► To avoid potential risks, if the appliance power
cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the

► Do not use extension cables.
► Never touch the hairdryer, the power cable or
the plug with wet hands.
► Disconnect the hairdryer from the power source
immediately after use. The appliance is completely
free of electrical power only when you unplug it.

► You must not open or repair the housing of the
hairdryer. If you do so, the safety of the appliance is no longer assured and the warranty
will become void. Arrange for the hairdryer
to be serviced and repaired only by qualifi ed
specialists.
Never use the appliance near water, especial-
ly in vicinity of sinks, baths or other similar
vessels. The proximity of water is hazardous,
even if the appliance is switched off . Always
disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket after use. As additional protection,
the installation of a residual current circuitbreaker with an activation power rating of
not more than 30 mA is recommended for
the power circuit in the bathroom. Ask your
electrician for advice.

supplier or the hotel staff about the rating of the
local electrical mains supply. Do not insert the
plug into a power socket and switch your travel

Ion function

This appliance is equipped with an ionising function.
When drying the hair using a hairdryer, the hair takes on a static
charge and to starts to “fl y”.
The ionisation function ensures that this charging of the hair is neutralised
and cancelled. The hair becomes soft, supple, shiny and easier to style.
Operation
1) Fold the travel hairdryer 1 open until the handle 3 audibly
locks into place.

2) Adjust the voltage selector 4 with a coin until a click is heard.
Ask your energy supplier or the hotel staff about the rating of the
local electrical mains supply.
3) Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
4) If required, attach the styling nozzle 8:
― You can use the supplied styling nozzle 8 to apply a di-
ected airfl ow to shape and style your hair. Attach the styling
r
nozzle 8 to the front of the hairdryer 1 so that it clicks into
place and is fi rmly in place.
― If you want to use a wide air jet, pull the styling nozzle 8 off
the hairdryer 1.
5) Switch the hairdryer 1 on with the function switch 6.
The travel hairdryer 1 is equipped with a three-position switch: “0”
(Off ), “1” (gentle airfl ow, warm) and “2” (strong airfl ow, hot).
In the event of overheating, the travel hairdryer 1 switches itself off
automatically.

Drying and styling hair
■ To dry hair quickly, we recommend a short time at switch position
“2”, and afterwards you can switch to position “1” for forming
and styling. If you wish to create a cold air stream, press and
hold the “Coolshot” button 7.

Cleaning the housing

Troubleshooting
■ If your hairdryer 1 does not function as expected, fi rst remove
the plug from the mains power socket and allow the appliance
to cool down for a few minutes. The appliance is fi tted with an
overheating protector!
■ If the appliance still does not function, contact the service depart-
ment listed under “Guar
antee and service”.
Disposal
Never dispose of the appliance in the normal
domestic waste. This product is subject to
the provisions of the European 2012/19/EU
WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance via an approved disposal company or
your municipal waste facility. Please observe the currently applicable
regulations. Please contact your waste disposal centre if you are in
any doubt.
The packaging is made from environmentally friendly ma-
terial and can be disposed of at your local recycling plant.

of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and
inspected meticulously prior to delivery.

is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.

► The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing
efects, not for transport damage, wearing parts or for dam-

This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product has
been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or
modifi cations which were not carried out by one of our authorised
service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs made under the
warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after
the date of purchase.
Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are chargeable.
